uhhhhh. my flatmate was so eager for me to try the banishers and. idk. I'm already kinda prejudiced against what I dub a "console type game" and this one's level design etc is so painfully in that vein it sucks away what interest I may have for the story itself. which is a shame, bc it does sound rather promising. but I guess I'll have to watch it on yt
#nothing important#it's those damn invisible walls and level tunnels you're funneled through from one point of the area to the next#and the fact everything you see except the glowing stuff you can harvest is basically a stage decoration you van't even bump into.#bc of the invisible walls#no you cannot climb up that ankle-high ledge to reach the other fork of the path climbing up a slope bc the traversible area is#only connected at the base of the fork#no you cannot walk through that cart's handles the width of your forearm bc they're stuck in an invisible cube with the rest of the#uninteractable model so you have to move around right to the exact place the hitbox ends which is another 20cm away from the handles' ends#I think I just prefer the format of bg3 or pillars of eternity or disco elysium. or 1st person like kcd or cyberpunk#tw3 was 3rd person but the world was actually open and nothing stopped you from jumping off a cliff
