hello! i have a question regarding moon glow, since i'm seriously considering a purchase - does the theme work in mobile app as well? i know it works on mobile net browser, like chrome - but the app thing would be nice too!

hi there! unfortunately themes do not work within the tumblr app itself, so blogs will be shown in the default layout. mobile themes only take affect when viewed in a browser!

Try experimenting with the options a little. In the post picture, these options are enabled:

Minimal Permalinks

Minimal Navigation

Font: Overpass

Whereas on the live preview, these options are switched off and the font Open Sans is selected. The minimal navigation, non-minimal permalinks, and Overpass font were imported in from the old theme, Cybele. To make this a true mashup, I’ve enabled customisation options allowing the look of either theme.

Can I just say this is my favorite ask I’ve ever gotten, you guys can always feel free to ask me stuff like this. 

Okay! So, from The Settlement Cookbook, published 1947, we have a section called “Invalid Cookery” which took two full years for me to understand was for sick people, not cooking that wasn’t considered valid, though honestly some of these recipes might challenge that statement. 

Toast Water:

“Cut bread in 1/4 inch slices, put in pan and dry thoroughly in a slow oven until crisp and brown. Break in pieces. Measure equal parts of bread and boiling water, add salt and let stand 1 hour, strain through cheesecloth and season. Serve hot or cold.”

I have so many questions. For example, the instruction to “season.” 

Now, here’s another favorite, and this is under the baby section. 

Flour Ball

2 pounds wheat flour              2 Quarts water

“Tie flour in a cheesecloth bag [note: good luck with that] and boil for 5 hours in 2 quarts of water.  Place the resulting ball in the oven and bake for several hours or until the outside is quite brown. Break and discard outer shell. Grate inner ball to a powder. Wheat flour water may be made with this powder in the same way as barley water. Flour ball gruels are used for diarrhea.”

he is! but I couldn’t quite find an actor that fitted him physically and acting-wise. I’m totally open to suggestions, though! I would really like to find a perfect cast for him!
