Align your actions with your desires

If you keep saying “I want XYZ” but do not do what it takes to get you there, this post is for you.

Aligning our actions with our desires is what brings us to our goals. We need to be clear about what we want, how we want it and what we have to do to get it.

What is it that you desire? More freedom, more self confidence, more money, a better car, a bigger house, living life your way, etc. no matter what you want - you have to know it exactly.

Those are your desires, next you need to know how to get what you want. What does it take from you? How much do you have to do and how far are you willing to go?

After knowing your plan, all you have to do it actually doing what you wrote down. There is nothing worse than not doing anything when you could be putting in effort to achieve your goals.

Remember that even imperfect action is better than no action at all. One step at a time will bring you closer to your goal.

We cannot keep on saying “I want XYZ” but not do anything or the pure opposite to achieve it and still expect it to just happen for us. That’s sadly not how this works.

So go on and start aligning your actions with your desires. The only way you’ll fail is when you give up and not do anything.

Wednesday, it was performance task day and it means we have to finish the performance task while we still have time, and yes I did finish it including the assignments, but once I finished the performance task our teacher @jerelcena added more hahaha, sometimes the performance task is kinda stressful of how alo't of activity's to do but i did manage to challenge myself to finish them so that i can be relieved and i can let out my stress, all I gotta do is just finished them even if I'm tired, not in the mood, even if I'm lazy and what so ever, just keep working hard and you'll get over with it.

A little over 9 years ago, a very pregnant me was finally laid off from @theblockbustervideo after being a store manager with them for nearly 6 years. While I loved operating my own business, I hated how I constantly was the “bad cop” to everyone: my employees, my customers, my community. I hated how my schedule left me missing out on important events and holidays, and how it sometimes made me feel like a ghost in my own relationship. And most of all, I hated how my working for someone else had divorced me from my creativity. When I closed the doors for the final time, I knew that I couldn’t, as a new mother, go back to that way of way life. Fast forward nine years to today! Not only do I get to make and share my creations with the world, I’m involved in my community in so many ways! My family has grown, and my heart has never felt so full! It would be a lie if I said it had been easy, that I never had any doubts as I set down this path, but it’s been the most amazing and self-affirming experience of my life. I’m grateful for my partner @ironiclyawesomename for giving me all the love, support and help I required to get to this point, he’s my biggest cheerleader!
