my magnum opus. I am star crossed world pilled.
forgive me for spelling errors or whatever I just needed to get all my thoughts into one place.
Included is a bit of commentary on why I think we should disregard Morpho Knight absorbing Galacta Knight as strictly canon, as well as me pointing out how GK was made quite literally integral to the lore of the series given his appearance in Super Kirby Clash...
Only time will tell if I'm right lol

Part of a series on establishing the personality of characters, using canon information part 2: Waddle Dee
Tumblr media
At the first appearance, we can already see some personality from Waddle Dee. He first catiously pokes the mysterious crystal, then carefully picks it up and seems to enjoy it, like a kid that found a cool rock. He plays with it, before getting stopped by Dark Matter. Waddle Dee is cautious to a reasonable amount.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Waddle Dee has celebrated successes with both Kirby and Adeleine.
Tumblr media
Waddle Dee is startled by Dark Matter.
Tumblr media
During the cutscene after Dedede is possessed, after everyone else leaves, Waddle Dee stays with Dedede afterwards for a short amount before joining in with the others.
Tumblr media
He looks back for a last time before leaving. He isn't willing to abandon his friends to stay with Dedede.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Waddle Dee exchanges glances with different characters throughout the game. Along with many other character interactions, this shows that Waddle Dee has good social skills, despite having no mouth.
Tumblr media
Waddle Dee is not afraid to assist others. Specifically, when they are fainting or have been possessed. The cutscene with the fairy queen shows that Waddle Dee acts quickly.
Tumblr media
Waddle Dee walks behind Dedede. This is likely because he works for Dedede.
Tumblr media
During the volcano cutscene, Waddle Dee is last. He, like Adeleine, has to be rescued. This time, by Kirby.
Tumblr media
Apparently, Waddle Dee likes strawberries.

There is one important thing about the Kirby anime that no one ever talks about. In the episode “Cowardly Creature” N.M.E. Sales guy informs DeDeDe and Escargoon that one of his monsters is missing. The monster, Phan Phan escaped from a program known as “Young Monsters of the Future” a program that is known to train monsters until they are traumatized from abuse which causes them to have no morals and destroy what’s around them.
Tumblr media
This is a major reason why most of the monsters in the show are evil. Almost every monster Kirby has fought was more than likely trained there. All of the monsters the Star Warriors fought originally came from there. The monsters were probably trained to be sent to customers like King Dedede who constantly use them to get rid of Kirby.
I really wish this concept of the show was mentioned more since it was introduced late in the series. This episode came in a few episodes before the finale.
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————
While N.M.E. Tells Dedede and Escargoon about the program. He also mentions that a hacker was responsible for Phan Phan’s escape. Unfortunately we don’t know who the hacker is who saved Phan Phan from torment, but I have some theories about it:
1. Knuckle Joe
Tumblr media
Knuckle Joe was able to work for N.M.E. before he betrayed them to battle off Masher. Maybe Knuckle Joe knew some things about the company while he was working as a monster manager.
Tumblr media
Knuckle Joe developed hatred in his heart which caused him to transform into a monster. After Knuckle Joe redeemed himself, he didn’t want other monsters to experience the pain he has gone through. Knuckle Joe is a monster hunter, but understands that not every monster is worth hunting. He wanted to save as many untrained monsters as possible, so he hacked into the system to save Phan Phan.
2. Sirica
Unfortunately we don’t get to see much of Sirica’s life after “Crusade for the Blade” until the finale. In the finale she pilots one of the 3 rouge destroyas alongside Knuckle Joe and Sir Arthur. Maybe in between those two episodes she wanted to hack into the system to show her hatred for the company (Since the company created Kirisakin, a monster responsible for the death of her mother)
Tumblr media
An interesting connection to this theory is that her weapon has the N.M.E. Symbol on it, confirming she knows something about the company. I want to know how she received the weapon and her life outside of Dreamland. I wonder if she has a similar role to Knuckle Joe where she is a monster hunter.
3. Both (alongside Arthur and his men)
Tumblr media
I imagine that before the finale, all six came to an agreement that they should hack into the system to rescue as many untrained monsters as possible. Maybe Arthur did the planning while Joe and Sirica did the hacking together. Since Knuckle Joe knows where everything is, maybe not only he hacked to the web server but also led the Star Warriors where exactly the Destroyas are.
4. A traitor from the company
You know how Yamikage used for work for the GSA, but decided to later betray the army to work for N.M.E.?
Imagine the opposite of that
(Obv it wouldn’t be Yamikage, but I was just making an example) Maybe a worker that used to work for N.M.E. hated their job and decided to betray the company freeing one of their monsters.
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Unfortunately we don’t know if the other untrained monsters were saved. In the Finale, Tokkori and Kit Cosmos planted a bomb that later destroyed the entire fortress killing any remaining monsters.
It’s honestly depressing to think that these poor creatures that were forced to train in this program never had their happy ending…
THE GOOD GUYS HAVE THEIR HAPPY ENDINGS, BUT WHY COULDNT THESE MONSTERS HAVE HAPPY ENDINGS TOO?!?!?
Dedede even says this line:
“And I ain’t got a way to order anymore monsters!” *While crying*- Fright to the Finish
This line also proves that the monsters didn’t survive the explosion
Young monsters of the future has such an important role to the story, and yet no one ever talks about it.

The most important number in Kirby, Number Four
I've seen a pattern in the Kirby Series that not many have talked about, or at least not that I'm aware of, being a consistent number in the saga, Number 4.
From the easiest to hardest things to spot this number we have:
How you can only use four players in games like Return to Dreamland and Star Allies.
The Four Heroes of Yore and Heart Spears.
Kirby's most famous friend group, Kirby, Bandee, Dedede and Meta Knight, being Four People.
Amazing Mirror's Four Kirbys
Kirby's main knights (Meta, Dameta, Galacta and Morpho, although this may be a coincidence.)
Elfilin's Kidnapping on the Fourth World
Star Allies' Four Worlds.
Void Terminas' Four Phases in Star Allies.
Four main groups in Star Allies for each DLC.
Four main members of the Jambastion Cult
The Four Matters of Void (Heart, Soul, Darkness and Dreams)
The odd use of fourths on some final boss battles (Sectonia's Four Eye flowers in her final phases, Star Dream's four legs on the Access Arc Phase, etc
Kirby's majority of the OST being in 4/4
Four voices voicing Void Termina
Etc
Now, what Number Four means, varies on what source you ask.
In numberology, It means, Support and Stability, rooting to care about yourself and your life.
In Tarot, it means Kingship, Power and Authority.
But the one most should be familiar with, is the common one which states that Number Four is a number that represents Death and bad luck.
What do you think? Does it make sense? Am I reaching too deep? Found other sightings on the number four in the Kirby series I missed?

Hey, anyone know where the theory that Meta Knight was created by Nightmare came from? It’s so interesting and I kinda believe it. Or at least, I think Nightmare kidnapped Meta at least and experimented on him. I have theories for that.
Anyway! I wanna know where it came from. Anyone know?

Kirby Theory: Painter Partizanne
here you go @friendlyneighborhoodmenace
i came up with this 2 days ago, I don't even remember the train of thought that led to it, but TL;DR is Zan Partizanne painted the Paint Sisters before her near-death experience that led to her becoming a Mage-Sister, because we know from her Soul Melter EX pause screen she climbed a tower and got struck by lightning, Paintra is in a artist's studio so she was probably made there in Floralia, and in the very next world of Triple Deluxe the boss level is a giant tower leading up to Kracko, the notorious hostile lightning cloud, and it'd also explain Drawcia's connection to Dark Matter/the Soul bosses given how Void's Void, I obviously came up with more evidence to this but I think that's where I started
Full explanation under the cut, obviously this type of insane claim takes a lot of qualifying so I put together as much as I could, including direct quotes & images, but it's also REALLY, REALLY, LONG and REALLY, REALLY, RAMBLY, so prepare yourself
Paint Sisters & Floralia
So, let's start here with Paintra, because she actually gives us more leads on the Paint Sisters' maker than Drawcia does, for some reason, despite being infinitely less important. Paintra's arena takes place in an artist's studio.
Tumblr media
And if you read her pause screen description...
"There was once a painting said to depict a pair of sisters separated at birth. It slept, unnoticed, in a painter's studio for countless years before it came to life and vowed revenge on the world."
So, you know. She was probably painted here. And, by extension Drawcia, who probably got her motivation to be malicious from this event as well. ...Something that really bothers me is that this text implies there's a single painting depicting both, but that's just Paintra, and Drawcia had her own painting depicting herself at the end of Canvas Curse:
Tumblr media
I don't have an answer to this, I'm going to instead pretend they were always two paintings that were made at the same time and the artist's intent was they were sisters separated at birth, and/or those paintings also got separated, and the pause screen just misspoke, or whatever. Or... Well... Miswrote? Misstyped? Whatever, until anyone gives me a better idea than my friend Σ saying Drawcia used to be in Paintra's painting too before just kinda leaving on her own.
(I later also saw that it says "Over time, her painting transformed... and Drawcia sprung forth." which I totally forgot about, and don't know what that means. Dark Matter seems to be tied to negative emotion, and Drawcia seemingly has ties to Dark Matter which I'll get to, so maybe her being vengeful transformed her from something more tame, like how Paintra and Vividria looks, to her pretty blatantly evil design, or something? Or is even what gave her physical form?)
Kracko Is There
Anyways, if you check Zan Partizanne's Soul Melter EX pause screen:
"Once upon a time, a poor girl climbed a tower in desperation, only to be struck by lightning. As she breathed her last, a mysterious traveler appeared and unlocked her natural talent for lightning magic. ZAP! Zan Partizanne was born."
I sure do wonder what the next world after Lollipop Land, where Paintra is fought, is.
Tumblr media
You see that structure? Towers. Look at the final level, too.
Tumblr media
Damn, that picture's huge, actually. I'm on my iPad, I can't really resize it right now, uh... Whatever. And you fight Kracko up there, the sentient lightning cloud itself. If you check the cutscene, which is in the video below, Taranza doesn't just manifest Kracko out of a cloud, which he's surrounded by, he specifically searches around in the clouds, and shoots an energy sphere in a specific spot, which Kracko then flies over from. So, it's safe to say he's just there.
youtube
And even if Taranza did make him in that instance, if you check the first sentence of Star Allies' Kracko pause description:
"Even in the far-flung reaches of space, as long as there's a sky, Kirby's long-time nemesis Kracko can show up and cast a shadow across it."
So, safe to say that Kracko can just appear literally anywhere as long as there is sky, especially since he's also just exactly the same in Amazing Mirror, too. All this is to say that, in the past, Kracko probably could've actually been at this tower, too.
And I wonder what one of the 3 bosses Drawcia can summon might be?
Tumblr media
Damn. And, in Kracko's minigame, Block Attack, you have to progress upwards to confront Kracko. Ignore that that has been a thing since Kirby's Adventure, clearly climbing upwards to confront Kracko being a normal thing is more support to Zan Par having met Kracko. As you can tell, this entire thing is a Jenga tower of coincidences.
Point of all of that is that Zan Par having been the painter, and years ago having been struck down by Kracko, saved by Hyness and brought to the Jambandra Base, would line up with the Paint Sister paintings having been abandoned years ago. And the build of the Mage-Sisters also looks similar to the People of the Sky, who also live in Floralia, so there's that too:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wish I had a better reference image for the entire group of them...
And, you know, it's fitting for someone with natural talent for lightning magic to live in the sky. Speaking of...
Dark Matter, Void, Hyness' Cult, & The Ancients
Out of nowhere heading, I know.
Anyways, moving on from Kracko, there's something interesting about all 3 of the Mage-Sister Soul Melter EX pause screens. Their talent for their elemental magic is natural.
"As she got colder and colder, a mysterious traveler appeared and unlocked her natural talent for ice magic."
"Just before she lost consciousness, a mysterious traveler appeared and unlocked her natural talent for fire magic."
"As she breathed her last, a mysterious traveler appeared and unlocked her natural talent for lightning magic."
And, there's something specific in Hyness' rant that he says about his cult (Wikirby calls it the Jambastion Religion, I refuse to refer to it by that name):
"We who once faced those who were in such fear of our power that they sealed us away and banished us to the edge of the galaxy! US!
As if THAT loveliness wasn't enough, they tried to erase our very existence from history! RUDE!
Only through our magic were we able to overcome their science and achieve great prosperity!"
So. You know. If the cult's thing is magic, and the Mage-Sisters, Zan Par included, had natural talent for magic, maybe they're descendants of some part of the cult that wasn't banished to the edge of the galaxy? Got lucky, or spared, I guess?
Worth noting that Paintra DX's pause screen presumably eludes to the Magic Paintbrush as what created her and Drawcia:
"Born from a forgotten painting made by a mysterious brush, Paintra DX has come to take her revenge. One must wonder if the painter who created her regrets giving her form."
I'm now going to point out that in the Japanese version of the excerpt from Hyness' rant earlier, he says even more interesting things than in English:
"They who were once our friends, perhaps fearing the power of our clan, sealed the entirety of our clan and drove us off to the ends of the galaxy!
But still not satisfied, they also tried to completely erase even the scraps of our existence from history!
Only harmonized with our magic can their science achieve great prosperity!"
The people that banished his away had science, used to be friends with the Hyness cult, and only through combining their magic and science they reached prosperity. ...This other group is pretty obviously the Ancients, and has all sorts of implications, and believe me I have plans for those, but for now instead of getting into my overarching lore theories I'm just going to say that the Magic Paintbrush was one of these artifacts, and would've been skewed towards Hyness' cult and Dark Matter, and would logically be in possession of a descendant from that cult. In case you forgot that Hyness pretty explicitly says he worships Dark Matter:
"Your future is a farce! You have none! We, masters of a matter most dark, vow to be restored, as told in the book of legend, which everyone thought was just a fairy tale! It WASN'T!"
Let's compare Drawcia Sorceress and Dark Matter Blade's designs:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Notice the yellow eye thing Drawcia has on her torso? Honorable mentions to Dark Matter Clone:
Tumblr media
And Dark Mind:
Tumblr media
And all the other times this happens, like with possessed Dedede. And then look at Drawcia Soul. Let's do the same thing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
AND, ALSO, VOID.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I assume I don't need to remind you that Drawcia Soul's attacks get used all the time by important bosses, Void included. Relevant others would include Soul of Sectonia, who's another tie to Floralia (And, also, was it ever confirmed the Dimension Mirror was an Ancient creation? It feels like it would be, and I think I have evidence for that, but that's for another time), Marx Soul, who absorbed a Nova, a confirmed Ancient creation, Crowned Doomer, who ate the Master Crown, another confirmed Ancient creation, and also Galacta Knight. At least in Planet Robobot, and I think Super Clash? He uses the projectile rain that I'm pretty sure was started by Drawcia Soul. Obviously, there's the theory that Galacta Knight was one of the heroes who took down Void, what with Aeon Hero being... A Hero, and Aeon Hero (Dark) using the Spears of the Heart, but also if you check Hyness' rant AGAIN:
"We alone were responsible for stopping that repulsive nightmare of a galactic crisis, yet this is how you repay us!"
So, there's that. So, either Void is directly tied to the Magic Paintbrush and Drawcia by extension, or it's the thing with the theory that Dark Matter can conjure up past memories with the rainbow glow of Dark Matter Clone's sword referencing the Rainbow Sword, and the theory that Void Termina's summoned weapons were the Heroes of Yore's weapons, if you like that theory.
And I almost forgot that Drawcia Soul's minions are named Para Matter, and have an incredibly prominent eye as well.
Tumblr media
...Hey, wait a damn minute. I just realized something about these things.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You know what these look like?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both of these things come from the background to the foreground to attack, and then you send them BACK to the background to damage the boss. Who is also the final boss' second phase. Huh. I genuinely only just thought of this while writing this, but there's another Drawcia-Floralia connection I don't know the actual implications of.
Oh, and Dark Matter apparently has an affinity for painters in general, given that Ado is presumably corrupted by it in Dream Land 3 (That's why she fights Kirby, right?), Adeleine is very explicitly possessed in 64, and then there's Dark Crafter possessing Claycia in Rainbow Curse. But that's enough about Dark Matter, for now.
One more thing on the Ancients, assuming they're the same civilization from Forgotten Land, they've had been human, or once human, so it'd make sense that human-like beings like the Mage-Sisters would've ended up joining Hyness' society, and ended up with other human-like beings, the People of the Sky. Hell, Zan Par even has a specific connection to technology, if you check her first pause screen:
"The dutiful leader of the three Jambastion mages, Lightning General Zan Partizanne seems to energize the fortress itself and uses high-speed attacks to render her prey helpless."
So that'd probably also explain why they wouldn't have been banished with the rest of the cult if they were actually part of the Ancients' race, and thus could be around to have the Mage-Sisters as descendants, actually.
Zan Par, the Poor Girl
There's one more main thing I want to loop back around to. The second sentence of Paintra DX's pause screen.
"One must wonder if the painter who created her regrets giving her form."
Why would they regret that? Maybe they'd realize their creations are alive, and they'd be grief-stricken when they realized that the sisters, Drawcia and Paintra, have been separated, apparently for good. Maybe, if they were still around recently, they'd have seen what this drew Drawcia to. And if you go back to Zan Par's Soul Melter EX pause...
"Once upon a time, a poor girl climbed a tower in desperation"
If that's the same tower Kracko was at, and there's nothing actually up there, why would she be climbing it desperately? ...I'm not gonna say it directly, in case it'd trigger anybody, but let's just say that I've seen several people believe this phrasing implies that Zan knew what was going to happen.
Worse Evidence, Miscellanea & Bonus Theory
...Okay, that's a pretty dark ending, let's wrap up on some... Less good evidence I have, to get things more lighthearted.
Zan Par's has two specific Copy Ability weaknesses in her boss fights: Splash, and Artist. Which is also specifically obtained from Vividria, in this game. That's just because it has the same effects as the Water element, but still, it's neat.
The two main Paint Sisters both look like witches, and the Mage-Sisters are pretty similar in concept. In fact, in some old concept art of the trio, they have witch hats:
Tumblr media
And, if you compare Paintra DX to the Retaliator forms of the Mage-Sisters, I think it's pretty close. Not close enough for me to treat it as serious evidence, but still. And, also concept art of those forms also had a palette even closer, with one of them having yellow eyes like the Paint Sisters, which I've used as the reference image here. The used colors are on the left.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Mirror World, which is in the sky just like Floralia and obviously the home of the Dimension Mirror and Dark Mind, has Wiz, a boss that seems to be a mirror version of Paint Roller. Even if Wiz has nothing to do with paint. And we have a paint being in Floralia too, and Drawcia summons Paint Roller in Canvas Curse. I don't know what this proves, probably nothing, but I wanted to mention that.
When I initially posted this theory in my Discord friend server, Σ from earlier suggested that maybe Zan Par was fascinated by the idea of, like, magical sisterhood, which is why she painted the Paint Sisters, and she jumped at the opportunity to join the Mage-Sisters. With the hilarious follow-up of "okay she probably didn't literally jump if hyness met her on top of a tower but" ...And, I mean, maybe? Or maybe she just liked the idea of family in general. ...But she also doesn't really show fondness towards Francisca or Flamberge, at least, not that I remember or found when I checked, just loyalty towards Hyness. I dunno, I'll let you decide how you feel about this.
Also, if you've noticed that Vividria NEVER came up here, it's because I don't fucking know how she connects. She's specifically stated to be the younger sister in some concept art for her including the other Paint Sisters who are labeled as older (And Claycia's there, who's not labeled as familial at all, and Vividria ALSO ALMOST HAD A WITCH HAT HERE ACTUALLY), which'd mean she was painted after Drawcia and Paintra. I don't know what that implies, maybe Par tried to give either Drawcia or Paintra a new companion since the two were separated, and it didn't calm them down?
Tumblr media
Here's the quote from Wikirby with the relevant translation, by the way:
"The former two are labelled with the title "姉様" (ane-sama), meaning "elder sister", implying they are Vividria's aforementioned sisters. In contrast, Claycia is given the title "さん" (-san), a formal title similar to "Mr." or "Mrs.", which implies no family connection in her case. It is unknown if this information still applies to the final version."
And, as a bonus theory about Drawcia, actually, to end things on a genuinely happy note instead of just random shit, Shinya Kumazaki said in an interview that Drawcia was at one point considered as a Dream Friend.
"There were other characters that we wanted to make special guest appearances, like Drawcia, Elline, Shadow Kirby, Galacta Knight, and so on. But we established a certain rule for our selection process. The rule was to select one character from each title in the main action games over the years, the so-called core Kirby games, the equivalent to numbered sequels."
Which, would... You know... Imply that she's good, now? If she's helping Kirby? (Before you say "BUT GALACTA KNIGHT IS THERE TOO" keep in mind that if I was right earlier that Hyness' cult was the group that sealed GK away, and he was also one of the original Voidkillers, and wasn't summoned just to immediately be fought but to be an ally, I think him being a Dream Friend is actually fairly reasonable.) Marx is first established to be good now in Star Allies, too, or at least on good terms with Kirby now (I don't trust him, his entire thing is trickery, and he had no redemption arc like Magolor did, but that's besides the point), and while Dark Meta Knight is still morally ambiguous, in the Japanese version he seems to be more explicitly reformed:
"From “The Great Labyrinth of Mirrors” in the skies beyond, the uninvited shadow resurrects defiantly! Was he reformed by the Power of Hearts? *Ba-dump ba-dump* He’s an awfully untrustworthy guy, but it’s reassuring if you can go together. With the power of shadow, even light… can be cut!"
"The uninvited knight resurrects from “The Great Labyrinth of Mirrors”! Huh? Was he fighting with Meta Knight? But once he becomes a Friend, it’ll be fine. The shadow from the Mirror World, drawn by the galaxy’s darkness beyond, flies!"
(Σ keeps saying that the Dream Friend appearances aren't canon because one of the devs said somewhere that the Dream Rod was made so they wouldn't have to worry about all of those characters being around for Star Allies not making narrative sense, and does this any time I try to talk about anything related to the stuff said in those pause screens, but I feel like since they added new info in those pause screens not previously established, at least the scenarios described in their pause screens are canon like the Soul boss pause screens, and every one of them is in a situation where they'd be willing to help Kirby out, so I'm still going to run with that. Just in case any of you would say that, as well.)
So, why would Drawcia be friendly now? We don't know what any of them have been up to since their appearances, but she must be alive if she could've cameoed, right? Last we saw, she was returned back into her painting. (Yes, that painting was then evaporated, but the credits still show Drawcia in a painting, and it's stated her "true form was revealed to be a painting" when that wasn't established earlier, and it's seemingly the same painting frame from her defeat scene but it's visibly not the same state within that painting she was left in in the ending picture, so I assume something happened there.) So was Paintra... Who also exploded, but if Drawcia and Marx and Dark Meta Knight could all survive pretty explicitly shown destruction, Paintra could too. And the Magic Paintbrush is still out there, as well. ...Maybe the Sisters were finally reunited.
I like the Paint Sisters too much, I took over two hours to write this entire thing.

Kirby HC - Liar's Gold
AKA whats with all the ancient gold stuff?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
more detailed (and sane) rambles below:
Some ancient artifacts have a gold coating. This gold is actually a type of parasitic curse.
Sometimes known as Liar's Gold, this curse was designed to punish dishonest, greedy, or power-hungry souls. The parasite will not affect those it deems "worthy".
Liar's Gold manifests when someone uses an artifact with malicious intentions, or when an artifact is used incorrectly. In ancient times, crowns and other objects of high status were made with Liar's Gold to keep away the unworthy.
Liar's Gold manifests physically - both on the inside and the outside. It wraps itself around the soul, spreading outwards like the roots of a tree.
Liar's Gold changes the host's body over time. These changes reflect their goals and aspirations - the truth that lies within them.
Hosts may have wings, horns, or ornate mutations that they did not have before. These mutations will always have a golden color.
Those afflicted with Liar's Gold will develop an unnatural (and dangerous) obsession with control.
Liar's Gold drastically increases the offensive power of its host's magic (and it grants the ability to use magic as well). It does this by forcing the host to derive magic energy from their own soul. The soul is brought outwards, and gradually it withers away.
When the host's soul completely deteriorates, the gold becomes a part of their body. As the curse progresses, the host becomes a twisted manifestation of their true self. At this point, the parasite is in complete control over the host's actions.
The only cure is to atone for one's sins.

So....
I just thought of something and I could be totally totally wrong about this.
What if the N.M.E. Sales Guy and Nightmare are actually the same person?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Honestly, the resemblance between these two is uncanny.)
My theory is that after A Nightmare In Dreamland, Nightmare takes on a human form and starts his own business as a salesman to entice King Dedede as a way to subtly spread his nightmares once again.
This could also explain Nightmare's eventual appearance in RBAY.

The Anti-Kirbys Are Batamons Hypothesis
So in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening you can encounter an enemy called Kirby or Anti-Kirby, a Kirby-like enemy.
So I believe these Anti-Kirbys are possibly the Batamon that show up in Kirby's Dream Land 3. I believe this is the case because this would 1 explain why they try to eat Link for no reason, but 2 would work well because of the similarities between the Batamon and Anti-Kirbys in their eyes. Also, this would give an explanation to the Batamon as Anti-Kirbys.
Now how would they have ended up in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening? Well probably through some dimensional portal. Written by Eris

Kirby, star crossed world trailer analysis
First off, I’m surprised this is even a practice, I’m not complaining. Im buying the switch 2 and playing this dlc first moment’s notice
Tumblr media
Second off, we can see the heart shaped comet breaking and evil leaking out of it. So something is trying to control it and that caused to break (like the crystal shards) or it was a prison for what’s inside of it (like the Jamba heart)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Second the obvious stuff like it affecting the beast pack and the surroundings, first corrupting force in the series that actually affects the environment beyond the sky line which is also affected to look like… another dimension (we’ll come back to this
Tumblr media Tumblr media
During the trailer we can see the dark thing falling and creating a island, this is actually seen in game and we can give a name to the non-Jamba heart, “Fallen-Star volcano” which seems to still have star pieces covering it
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now to the new characters, thanks to @das-a-kirby-blog and @what-is-love-babey-dont-hurt-me for pointing out that this creatures resemble galacta’s mask (so does the coins affected by the stars) however despite this I’m not sure we’ll see galacta himself yet, BUT seeing how the little creature was inside of a crystal prison (that resembles the crystals inside of Another Dimension) and the big guy was actually wearing a armor. We might be in front of the thing that sealed galacta knight and not galacta knight himself
Tumblr media
And lastly, this crystals look very similar to the ones in “another dimension” during Magolor’s chase, and seeing how this game already takes the star shaped portals from RTDL and connects them to Fecto Elfilis then the crystals may be connected to the new antagonist which may also be a ancient threat like Elfilis
Also I bet 5 bucks on king dedede getting possessed by the crystals… again

Part of a series on establishing the personality of characters, using canon information part 1: Adeleine
We are covering Adeleine, a character who doesn't display much of a personality, other than being an artist.
Tumblr media
In the Dedede cutscene, she appears to be fascinated by Dark Matter.
Tumblr media
In the second Dedede cutscene, everyone starts off looking at Dedede, except for Adeleine. She is too busy staring at Kirby with a creepy smile on her face.
Tumblr media
In the cutscene with the first warp star, Adeleine appears to have never seen a warp star before. She makes this facial expression for a quarter of a second before the camera cuts to something else. The expression was added deliberately, despite being too fast for the average viewer to notice.
Tumblr media
In the desert cutscene, Adeleine is visibly lagging behind.
Tumblr media
She is the first to notice Kirby, and alerts the group.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She appears upset about Kirby, showing that she shows signs of having empathy.
Tumblr media
Again with the creepy smile, she gets an idea, which is to paint food for everyone.
Tumblr media
She appears to have basic empathy, and acts on it. This shows that she likely cares about her friends.
Tumblr media
In the beach cutscene, she is the first to stand up and start throwing rocks. The others join in, as if she showed them what rock skipping is.
Tumblr media
In the volcano cutscene, she makes this face.
Tumblr media
She is also too slow to catch up with the warp star, and has to get rescued by Dedede. She shows fear in the cutscene.
Tumblr media
Along with the others, she steps on Kirby for some reason.
Tumblr media
In the Kirby phone cutscene, she exchanges looks at Waddle Dee. This, along with the desert cutscene, shows that she has basic social skills.
Tumblr media
She appears to be delighted at the fairy queens gift.
Tumblr media
She is also aggressive towards Gooey. We can make a guess that this is because Gooey looks like/is Dark Matter. She has a seemingly complicated relationship to Dark Matter.
During face-to-face in Star Allies, she covers herself. It is stated that this is because she is “shy about being fed”. It is unknown why.

Hi guys, forgive me for this insane question:
*and therefore they are not "just computers". Perhaps you think they're more akin to magical artifacts (like the master crown for example)
**Biological = biological organism, even if it was biologically engineered instead of naturally occurring (like if you were to grow an organ from scratch (e.g, the heart of nova?). That could imply their abilities that one might consider magic (such as portals) are innate to their biology (like Elfilis's possibly are?).
I'd love to read about why you chose your option in the tags!
You can also read a little about what I think:
I was typing up some of my own headcanons about the novas and it got me really curious about what other people think... There's a lot of different options and they've been bouncing around in my brain.
For one, I hope to gather data about how people think the magic system works in kirby. For example, is magic something any creature, even a computer, can learn and perform? Or are specific races/species/artifical beings not able to perform magic with knowledge alone, due to things like their biology? Depending on what you think, the nature of the clockwork stars changes...
I'm a subscriber to the latter theory, but I think it's both possible to "unlock" the ability to perform magic - for example, being possessed by dark matter - and to "use" magic through the use of a magical tool. If the novas were simply built with a magic component installed, granting wishes isn't exactly out there.
There's also the question about *why* the novas were built by the ancients. One of my headcanons is that they're basically the ancient's "cloud" - a big computer network that holds all of the ancient's computer data, libraries of knowledge, and maybe even all their magical data. This data was so extensive it therefore allowed them the knowledge to grant wishes...
I also can't remember where I saw this, but I remember seeing a theory about how the heart of nova resembles the jamba heart and how they could've been used as Incubators to grow the various spawns of void. That's too cool...
I also have so many questions about how Haltmann built star dream. What resources did he use, how difficult were they to find, did he use any substitute materials? Why does star dream's heart look different to Galactic Nova's?
Were the scientific ancients so advanced that they could create *computers* that grant wishes? Is it simply science so advanced that it's beyond our human comprehension? Or else, did Haltmann need to use magic (whatever that would involve) in order to built Star Dream? Was there a biological component Haltmann needed to engineer or FIND in order to complete it?
Anyway, I hope to do more polls like this. I'm hopefully going to be less busy in the summer and I can talk about kirby a lot.

Now,it’s time for the most random Kirby AU/(theory????????????? Not really though) you have ever heard,I came up with this at 1 AM while very sleep deprived
In this AU,Fecto Elfilis is actually the reincarnation of the embodiment of subspace Tabuu (the guy from Super Smash Bros Brawl) who got flung to the ancient past of the Kirby universe after his defeat and reincarnated there ig
This AU has zero basis and is very stupid, they don’t even look like! But idk,I think it’s cool, plus it involves Tabuu getting a redemption arc, sorta, through Elfilin which is neat especially if you know his lore
Uh yeah,I kinda based this off my old theory when the World of Light trailer first came out and I guessed that Galeem was a reincarnation of Tabuu and also connected (or even a) Master Core (though obviously that was disproven when the game came out)
Also somewhat related but if there is a another smash game and Magolor gets in before/instead of Bandee,I will punch a wall/silly
