Palermo thoughts on Tatiana

What I haven’t seen being discussed (though of course, I came to Berlermo nation years late) is what Palermo feels or thinks about Tatiana. We see him putting on a good face at the wedding, clearly saddened by the marriage, longing for something he can’t have. Then we see him planning the heist with Berlin—and that kiss, which could’ve been the sign that something might finally happen between them—until Berlin shuts it all down and leave.

Still, Palermo would’ve had a relationship with Berlin even if Tatiana were in the next room. It wouldn’t have mattered. His love or devotion for Berlin was bigger, and he is a thief (so the morals wouldn't have cared that much).

Then, after years working together without getting caught, Berlin gets arrested right after Tatiana leaves him for Rafael, his own son. And Berlin knew he was going to be arrested. He knew he was putting himself in danger.

I imagine Palermo wasn’t just devastated because Berlin rejected him (and the plan) after the kiss—and after what he would later describe as the best years of his life—but then Berlin goes and makes a mistake. And much later, Tatiana and Rafael steal the gold—the gold that symbolized those best years of his life and his relationship with Berlin. He must be mad at her, right??

Tell me there are fanfics or something exploring the absolute hatred he must feel for her. I want them to be sworn enemies.

Also, Tatiana must have know -it was evident to anyone with eyes- that Palermo loves Berlin. And that Andrés also feels something back he couldn't quite explain or give himself the time to explore. He says he loves women too much, and that's true, but I'm sure she knew he wasn't making the plans with her but with Martín. There was a connection there.

Conclusion: i hope they hate each other's guts. I hope family dinner is as nice as a dagger duel and I hope Sergio hates every minute of it while Andrés just LOVES being the centre of attention.
