your bodyguard has to punish you !
being sat in bodyguard!sae's lap while he looked at you blankly, yet with the slightest hint of annoyance and irritation in his eyes was not on your list for tonight. actually, your plan was to sneak out your window after your father denied you of going to a party, but sae had unfortunately caught you. you mentally cursed the man for being so smart, and knowing exactly what you were planning to do after you so innocently asked him to leave your room so you could change.
"your father already said no, and you do this?" sae said, raising one eyebrow at you. he was lightly caressing your waist with one hand, then slowly tracing over your thigh as you pouted, then using his other hand to give you a light smack on your ass. "you really don't get it, do you?"
"'m sorry, sae, won't happen again." you blinked at him, wiggling yourself in his lap as you whined like a spoiled brat. he exhaled hard through his nose and titled his head back, like he was deciding what he should do with you. he leans in, lips brushing your ear as he uses one hand to hold the back of your neck and pull you into him, whispering into your ear, "be a good girl and ride me, okay? and i won't tell your father what you tried to do."
at the mere mention of that, you were scrambling to take off your skirt, fumbling with the zipper of his pants. pushing your own panties aside, it was almost embarrassing to see how wet you had already gotten, your pussy leaking and your panties glistening, but you managed to push yourself down his cock. the stretch was incredible — your mouth parted as you let out a whine, feeling your walls clamp down on him. straddling him, you wrap your arms around his neck, giving a few light bounces on it.
but after a while, despite how hard you were trying, you were getting tired, your thighs became sore, and sae wasn't even helping. he looked almost bored, letting out a few groans here and there, but you desperately needed for him to just grab your waist and slam you up and down on his cock.
“go faster,” sae mutters, voice flat, almost bored. “i c-can’t,” you whimpered, hips stuttering. “sae, ‘m tired, my legs—“
a little slap landed on your ass. not too hard, just enough to make your breath hitch. his fingers spread warm against your skin afterward, palm rubbing the area there. “c’mon, i know you can do it.” he says, eyes narrowing as he stares at you.
so, with what little dignity you had left, you let out a whine and started moving yourself again. it was terrible, you were riding him so messily, your thighs shaking as you let out frustrated whimpers, trying to chase your release. but, sae, of course, still had a small punishment up his sleeve for you.
"don't cum." he warned, but his voice was a bit shaky as he closed his eyes, his hands finally resting on your waist as it sounded like he, himself, was close to cumming. you sobbed, pathetically trying to ask him for permission to cum, but all he gave you was a single look and you knew you should just save your breath. you collapsed onto his chest, mewling into his shoulder as he exhaled slowly, his hand sliding up your back to keep you steady. what you didn't expect, however, was him to thrust up into you — one that made you cum, right then and there.
the feeling was incredible, feeling your pleasure finally crash over you after what you had to endure. but, after coming down from your high, it was way too quiet, and you just realized what you had done. you squirmed in his lap, before sae sighed and pulled you off. he easily grabbed you and placed you carefully on your back onto your bed, crawling over you. he fondly caressed your cheek, swiping his thumb under your eye slowly.
"didn't i tell you not to cum, hm?" he says. he leaned down to you, his breath dangerously close to yours. "guess i'll have to teach you some manners then, you brat."

notes, I think I just opened opportunities for yall's horny ass.

★ Roommate!Sukuna the end of the beginning.
The apartment was dark when Sukuna walked in.
Only the soft flicker of the TV lit the living room, casting sleepy colors across your face as you dozed on the couch. Legs tucked under a blanket, big old t-shirt hanging off your shoulder — his shirt, actually. You didn’t even notice it still had the faint bleach stains near the hem.
But he did.
He was halfway through kicking off his boots when he saw it — the way the oversized collar drooped, how your bra strap had slipped down, barely hanging on your shoulder. The neckline was so wide it might as well not exist. Just skin. Bare skin. Your chest rising and falling under soft cotton that definitely wasn’t doing shit to hide anything.
He scoffed under his breath, jaw tightening.
You had no idea what you were doing to him. Or maybe you did. That was worse.
You stirred, blinking blearily as you sat up. “Oh. You’re home?”
He dropped his keys. “Obviously.”
You yawned, stretching. One arm above your head. The shirt lifted. That tiny glimpse of skin above your shorts made something inside him go dead quiet.
“You gonna keep dressing like that,” he muttered, stepping closer, “or are you just fuckin’ with me now?”
You blinked, confused, still half-asleep. “Huh?”
Sukuna tilted his head, voice sharp. “You think I haven’t noticed?”
You sat up straighter, cheeks warm. “I wasn’t—
He laughed once, bitter. “Yeah, you were.”
He was standing in front of you now, towering, eyes dark. His voice dropped lower.
“You’ve been doing this for months.”
You swallowed. The air was too hot. “...And?”
He didn’t answer with words. Just reached out, slowly, fingers slipping under your jaw, tilting your face up to him.
Then he kissed you.
Hard.
Messy.
All that tension — the near-touches, the stolen glances, the biting insults that never really meant go away — it poured out through his mouth on yours. Tongues sliding, breath catching, hands gripping. His teeth tugged your bottom lip just to hear you whimper.
He pulled back, eyes heavy.
“Get on your knees.”
Your breath hitched.
You slid off the couch and dropped to the floor in front of him, hands already tugging his sweatpants down. He was already hard — thick, heavy, leaking — and shit, you couldn’t help but lick your lips.
Sukuna spread his legs slightly, slouching into the cushions like he owned the whole damn world. “Go on,” he rasped. “Been teasing for months. Show me what that mouth’s good for.”
You wrapped your lips around him, slowly, tongue circling the tip as your hand stroked what you couldn’t take right away. Sukuna hissed above you, hand sliding into your hair, not pushing — just holding. Anchoring.
“Fuck,” he muttered when you hollowed your cheeks. “Knew you’d be good at this.”
You moaned around him, and he twitched in your mouth.
His hips flexed, shallow thrusts into your throat as you found a rhythm, spit dripping down your chin, eyes glassy from the stretch. He watched you like a starving animal, thumb brushing over your cheekbone every time you looked up.
“You like this?” he growled. “Like being on your knees for me?”
You nodded, mouth still full of him.
When he came, it was with a sharp groan, hips stuttering, his grip tightening in your hair. You swallowed every drop, breathing hard when he finally let go.
You wiped your mouth with the back of your hand, still kneeling. He looked down at you — flushed, chest rising, the corner of his mouth twitching.
Then he leaned forward, brushing your hair back gently, and pressed a soft kiss to your temple.
A single, quiet peck.
Then he stood, pulling his sweats back up.
“You know what this is now,” he said, voice low but final.
And just before he walked to his room, he smirked over his shoulder.
“Try not to fall in love, princess.”
Door shut.
Your heart didn’t.

𝗦𝗧★𝗥ㅤㅤ’ ㅤ 𝑓𝘪𝘭𝘮────flirty neighbour jungwon x fem readerㅤㅤ❀ㅤㅤteasing, skinship, reader is described as someone shortㅤ 2O4Oㅤ REQUESTED
jungwon has been waiting.
with squinted eyes and frequent sighs, clock ticking on the wall and yet, he checks the one on his wrist every minute. his patience runs thin with every tick of the second hand that is in synchrony with the tap of his foot.
a minute passes. then another.
he gives up.
“you should get down and let me do that,” there’s an edge to his voice, one laced with irritation.
“i can do it—” and you speak of determination as you reach out for the bulb on your ceiling, only to miss it by a brush of your fingers. “—shit,”
it’s all out of spite.
you’re not half interested in talking to your very hot neighbour and asking him to change the fused bulb. it simply slipped out of your lips and jungwon, being the lovely guy next door he is, waltzed inside your apartment as if it belonged to him.
the light is barely within your reach and his eyes are going back and forth between you and the stool, afraid you might fall. “your stubbornness is going to land you in a hospital,”
you shoot him a glare from your periphery. “i said, i can do it!”
worse, he shouldn’t have undermined your ability to change light bulbs, despite your height, or rather the lack of it— as he says it— because now you’re set on doing it yourself.
you’re not that short, never felt it until jungwon moved in next door with his habit of patting your head every time you pass by, until he started leaning down to hear you talk knowing well he isn’t much taller than you.
it’s all his fault.
“get down. i’ll—”
“if you keep your mouth shut, i might actually be able to focus,” you cut him off sharply, barely balancing yourself on your tippy toes over the wobbly stool that’s supported by his hands.
just a little bit more.
and you aim to reach higher, extending every single muscle in your limbs if it’s even mortally possible. almost there, and then like a wisp of air, his arm wraps over your legs, the other holding your waist securely, bringing you down to the floor as if you weigh nothing.
“i almost did it, idiot!”
he scoffs at your whines, the huff in your cheeks and at the way your brows furrow in annoyance. “yeah, i’ve been seeing that for the last thirty minutes,”
the proximity between you two doesn’t even cross your mind until his arm tightens around your waist and he effortlessly moves you to the side in one swift motion.
he pushes you down gently against the nearest chair, taking a good few seconds to look at your pretty face. “you look mad,”
and it’s like he is stating the obvious. “i am mad. i would have done it on my own if you hadn’t interrupted,”
he huffs at your insistence, half annoyed half admiration. there’s that bark in your words even when you’re sitting with his hands on the arm rest, caging you in between. “give it up, shorty,”
you squint your eyes. “shut up,”
“make me,” he bends closer, head hanging dangerously low for your sanity and his too, in fact. you look attractive when you’re mad. “make me shut up,”
you want to wipe that shit eating grin off his face, to strip him off that facade and make him feel out of place just the way he does to you. your eyes move down to his lips that are slightly parted, almost invitingly.
it would be crazy to kiss him. you can do it— you shouldn’t, but then you gulp, gravitating towards him on your own, slow, hesitant, with a tilt in your head.
“oops!” and he backs off with a laugh, hands up in the air almost mockingly. he stands up on the stool to fix the light, acting ever so smug and insufferable. “duty calls,”
although, you don’t miss the way his ears turn red.

snobby slytherin princess - sirius black
summary: there's something about a snobby slytherin princess that sirius black cannot resist. so when you get into an argument with rabastan lestrange and let it slip that sirius black would have a better chance at marrying you, the boy springs into action. wc: 0.8k cw: public argument, pureblood stuff
Behind the perfect poise and manners all of the sacred 28 had been taught lay a beast of impatience and sass, every pureblood child being pushed to their limits. The marauders hadn’t been expecting to watch a showdown between two pureblooded slytherins on their way to the great hall for lunch, the silence between them a tell-tale of how double potions had gone. But their boredom had been noticed by some higher power, and by some miracle, they ended up two mere meters from you as you strode away from the great hall, a very obviously panicked Lestrange following behind you.
He was calling after you, breaking into a run to catch up with your pace as he pleaded “Don't be so stubborn! Can we please just talk!?” All air was sucked out of the hallway as you came to an abrupt halt, right next to the three boys and Lily, spinning around to face Rabastan.
“You want to talk? Okay, talk!”
Rabastan spluttered, at a loss for words. You scoffed, “Or do you just want me to talk so you can figure out what you did wrong and apologise for it?” Sirius made an impressed sound, but Rabastan was so busy trying to climb out of the grave he dug himself that he didn’t even notice. But it was hopeless; he had crossed the line and had veered into the dangerous terrain of your honest opinions.
“Rabastan, I am not marrying you. Go cry to daddy about it. He’ll have another wife lined up for you by tomorrow night.”
If the marauders weren’t already frozen with shock, they would be now. They had matching expressions on their faces, jaws slack, eyes wide. Sirius, as much as he loved listening to pureblood drama, had no idea about your engagement. Or, your arrangement, should he say.
“But I don’t want another wife, I want you.” It was a desperate attempt, but Rabastan trusted his acting skills. Rabastan’s father would kill him if he knew his son’s behaviour drove the perfect suitor away. Luckily for you, you saw right through him.
You doubled over, a loud laugh escape you, eyes still filled with rage. “No, you don’t! Oh my god! I’d have chosen your brother if I knew how disgusting you were!” Rabastan stumbled back from the force of your words, as though you had struck him. His brother? He didn’t know you or your parents had been given options. He thought his parents had decided to guide you towards the better Lestrange brother — him. He didn’t know that his parents wanted you to marry either one of them.
Shit, he really messed up.
Rabastan stepped closer to you, eyes pleading. He didn’t care how much more he humiliated himself in front of his rivals, he just had to avoid humiliating himself in front of his father. “Just give me one chance, just one.” Your eyes followed the movement of his hand, reaching out to hold yours. Laughing uncomfortably, you reached down with your free hand to remove Rabastan’s hold from you.
“You already had one chance. What, did you think this engagement was actually secured?”
Tilting your head to the side, you held Rabastan’s eye contact, as though challenging him to say another word to you. When he said nothing, you nodded, adding as the final straw “Even Black stands a better chance at this point.”
Rabastan laughed coldly, his innocent front now forgotten as he said “Yeah, Regulus two years younger stands a better chance. Sure.” You smiled sweetly at Rabastan, shaking your head. “No, Rab. Not Regulus.”
You heard Rabastan’s breath hitch in an embarrassing gasp as you spun around on your heels and continued down the hall — but not without catching Sirius Black’s eye first. He was fixing his posture, rolling his shoulders back and clearing his throat. He felt his cheeks go hot at your comment, head turning to follow your disappearing figure.
“Shit, there’s just something I love about a snobby slytherin princess.” His friends’ heads shot towards him, Lily’s face shocked whereas Remus and James both held amused smirks. But just as he stepped aside to follow you down the hallway, two more women made their presences known.
Rabastan turned to face Narcissa and Pandora, throwing his head back as he said “I messed up so bad.” The two women didn’t spare him another glance as they strutted past him. “Yes, you did Lestrange.” Narcissa called out, quickly followed by Pandora’s comment of “And daddy won’t get you a new wife with that attitude!”
“Cissy, you think I can bag her?” Yelled Sirius to his cousin, who very briefly turned her attention to him, shrugging her shoulders. “You know she does quite like a rebel.”
And then, “Not a disrespectful scumbag, Rabastan.”

Saja boys w/ fem manager reader who explains periods to them;
Character/s: Jinu, Romance, Abby, Baby & Mystery
Character pairings: Jinu/you, Romance/you, Abby/you, Baby/you & Mystery/you
A/N: Characters may be ooc, writing style might be messy and just me rambling really
Jinu:
─ ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──── ♡ ─── ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──
• “So the uterus just... peels??”
• simply short circuits, he's kinda loser coded from how flustered he gets tbh-
• has to sit down and process what you just said
• will try to act nonchalant and tease you but when you glare at him he's sat there like- 🫥
• he's not sure how to react, bc on one hand he's absolutely baffled by how the female human body works but pretty impressed at how you're not dying on the spot
• (spoiler alert- you are)
• does not know what to do or how to help
• will try to lower your work load just a little by keeping the boys in check and not disturbing you
• for the sake of your sanity and their safety and world domination he will try to help you the best he can
• when you snap at him he just rolls his eyes at you, but hands you a heat compress when he passes by you again.
• you eventually snap at someone else and threaten to throw their stuff out the window
• he walks on eggshells around you from then on
─ ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──── ♡ ─── ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──
Romance:
• “Wait… you bleed every month and don’t die?”
• "that's kinda hot"
• the man who looks like he's Wattpad cringey men incarnate find out what happens during your period? ('m kidding he's one of my faves)
• cue the disbelief.
• he thought bleeding meant fatal injury — now you’re telling him it happens on purpose?
• "you are one strong woman manager-nim.."
• wait till he finds out about your hormonal spikes..😟
• he's genuinely confused and lowk worried at how you endure cramps based on your description of them
• a little sht through and through tho, will not stop teasing and flirting with you either way
• "Would you like me to kiss it better-" *smack* "-worth it"
• you snap at him? He's quiet for a second but smirks and says
• "that's kinky.. scream at me more-"
• but when you physically have to lean on something bc your cramps are that bad, he will show a lil bit of empathy and rub your back for comfort
• and holds back on teasing until you feel better (almost fails like separate 3 times)
─ ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──── ♡ ─── ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──
Abby:
• “You okay? Need me to fight your uterus?”
• no bc he would if he could
• actually tries- until you smack him upside the head
• does zero damage to him but stops trying for now
• curious as to how painful cramps actually are
• still thinks you're over exaggerating abt the pain but won't push you (you threaten him with smth. what you ask? no clue either.. but he stops so a win is a win ig)
• respects u a little more bc of it
• honestly..lemme get a nibble of those shoulders and then we'll talk-
• for real tho- with enough pain induced persuasion (from you obv) he will reluctantly happily let you bite him if the cramps get too bad
• again no damage done to him whatsoever;-;
• "Is this an excuse to get a taste of my beautiful muscles? If so.. manager-nim there's no need for one"
• offers you his abs to use as a pillow
─ ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──── ♡ ─── ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──
Baby:
• “I’m just gonna... not think about that.”
 does not wanna think about it
• fails
• will plug his ears and just la-la-la his way out
• definitely judges you and your cravings
• side eyes you when they're particularly weird
• he's not necessarily cruel abt it but is either immature or embarrassed.. or both
• does slowly evolve into sympathy with the right education (manager-nim? More like seonsaengnim teacher)
• eventually gets curious at how you function normally
• “manager-nim can't you just plug it? Like a cork? Using those tampoon thingies?"
• "how bout I put a cork in your mouth instead-"
• cue you mid-breakdown trying to explain how tampons work and how they can't just be shoved inside forever
─ ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──── ♡ ─── ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──
Mystery:
• “How do you not get mad at your own uterus..?”
• will stare at you with the most bewildered frown you can imagine from just seeing his mouth bro is almost impossible to read..💔
• immediately goes into a spiral of mental questions and stands there like 🧍
• frown deepens as he thinks about how much energy you have to use to do day to day activities while in constant pain..
• most likely imagining how painful it feels and his hair physically deflates at the thought..
• pokes at your lower abdomen like he's trying to decipher ancient text
• will growl at you if you try to sass him bro literally barked at a fan wdym he doesn't have undiscovered anger issues??
• he apologizes by massaging your hand later on
• will lay on your lap if you ask beg and become your personal heating pad
• the listener to your yapper frfr
• probably falls asleep mid yap but you wouldn't know, his eyes are literally nonexistent to you..
─ ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──── ♡ ─── ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──
Sorry if it's not that good it's my first time writing headcannons for these gremlins so m sorry if they're pretty ooc, specially since we (I) don't know much in general abt them at all.

I know you think having a gf thing is a joke and honestly I don't think it's a problem when bl actors have gfs or bfs, but they do get massive hate for that for real. do you know that new got so much hate for having a girlfriend? he still gets hate comments from toxic shippers that he should die for heart failure because he got heart problem? and that account that was hating on dunk was really pushing for hate. so of course it was the problem. the number one reason bl/gl actors get massive hate and death threats is literally having a gf/bf. it's a sad reality but i don't think you should treat it lightly.
I don't think this situation is a joke.
It -is- a joke.
And to show you how serious I am about this, I'm not even going to include images. This is just a giant wall of text.
Because outside of the BL-sphere, what are the repercussions of Dunk really dating a girl? What issues would he face if he was really straight? I'm going to skip over bisexuality because Lord knows half these fans don't even register that as a thing. So what harm would come his way if he was an actual heterosexual man?
Nothing. None. Nada.
If he was dating a girl, it would hurt his branded pair, but he could pivot. He could still work in other roles outside of the pair which he has done because being straight or being perceived straight isn't an issue. He would still have a job. He could even do something else outside of the industry. He'd be fine.
Because the issue isn't Dunk having a girlfriend. The issue is him stepping out on his branded pair because people are real weird about monogamy, especially when it comes to two boys because queerness actual queer people are scary to them.
So since you wanted to start with Tay and New, let me remind you that New get threats for having a girlfriend, but when Gun and Tay kissed during New's live, people went out of their way to call Gun, who is perceived as the more effeminate one, a straight up fag in the comments of his posts. Tay also got so much hate that he made a video and people's biggest issue was how could he go from such a masculine guy like New to such a twink like Gun who has never stated his sexuality. Because the issue wasn't Tay 'cheating' on his partner (with the partner literally being right next to him), but was the possibility of Tay kissing an actual gay guy.
Milk of MilkLove was rumored to be dating Noeul of BossNoeul and both of them received online hate at the mere thought they were breaking up their ships, but Noeul has received far more online and in-person hate once he started dressing and presenting a bit more effeminate than previously.
Freen of BeckyFreen was dating Seng formerly of BillySeng. The hate was ridiculous and it has followed Seng even after he departed from Idol Factory, which can easily be seen in the comment section of his posts. I genuinely feel bad for the boy, yet he still is working.
So you know who I do feel bad for all of the time? Publicly out queer folks in this industry!
Max of MaxTul dates women. People knew that and hated it because he was 'cheating' on Tul. But he still had work, and he still has work now. Because being straight does not harm people. Online hate is real. Cyberbullying is real. But Max could pivot if he wanted to like Nanon, Bright, and Win. But you know who never said he was dating anyone? The actual gay guy, Tul! And who retired from acting before he announced he was dating a man? Tul.
Cooheart has gone on record stating that being an openly gay man in the BL industry has severely limited his options. He will not be able to play a straight character because people know he is gay, so the online harassment he receives isn't because of not being faithful to a branded pair, but because he is actually gay, and that harassment has translated into him getting less jobs. He cannot pivot. He is essentially stuck.
When Supanut was hanging out with Sailub, he received more online and in-person harassment because he is the openly queer man. Sailub received comments that he was disrespecting Pon per the usual, but Supanut received comments that were directed not at him just trying to break up a ship, but about him being queer. People were equivocating him to being basically a gay hussy, who just wanted to wreck all the ships, which makes me very interested in what fan interactions will look like once I'm the Most Beautiful Count airs.
Daou gets lots of comments about disrespecting Offroad by hanging out with other guys, but the comments that really upset him were the ones saying HE WAS DISGUSTING FOR POSSIBLY BOTTOMING! Offroad stays quiet mostly, but he was bothered by people saying he was BULKING UP TOO MUCH AS A QUEER MAN!
I'm not even touching Mew and Gulf, but only one of them was labeled a predator and it wasn't the straight one!
So just because some of y'all want to take Joong liking a post about Dunk having a girlfriend seriously does not mean I need to. The online harassment is disgusting because people have parasocial relationships with actors who are simply doing their jobs, but I am not going to sit here on Tumblr dot com slash Respect the Petty and entertain this made up drama that stemmed from Joong liking a post about Dunk being perceived as a straight guy when openly gay people are being significantly more harassed, targeted, and limited for being gay in an industry that profits off of gayness.
Take all this energy you have for me and meet me in the My Sweetheart Jom chat on Friday, so every time someone mentions how Saint isn't believable in his role because he is a 'bottom,' you can give them the same lecture you want to give me about the seriousness of online harassment and its real-world repercussions.
Kay? Okay!
#it has to be a joke#because this only has consequences in a small space#being straight is not a threat#calling someone straight is not hate#it's manufactured bs#but being openly gay and getting harassed for it is serious#so I'm picking my battles#and being upset over joong x dunk divorce era 2.0 ain't it#toxic fandom

Okay. Before anyone starts warming up their fingers to type “why is Y/N being such a hypocrite about Tessa,” let’s stop right there because actually? She’s not. Not even a little bit. What you’re witnessing here isn’t hypocrisy—it’s human behavior. It’s trauma logic. It’s psychological realism. And it’s honestly the most consistent Y/N has ever been.
Here’s the thing: what she has with Jungkook is sex. She’s said it, she’s acted on it, and more importantly—she believes it. Her brain doesn’t categorize him as a romantic option, not even subconsciously. So when she pushes Tessa toward him, it’s not because she’s lying to herself—it’s because, from her point of view, Jungkook deserves something good. After Mia? Yeah. He deserves a little sweetness. Tessa’s nice. That’s literally it. She’s responding with a moral instinct, not romantic jealousy. And that’s not hypocrisy—that’s compartmentalization paired with a genuine (if ill-defined) desire to see someone be treated well.
But here’s the question the chapter’s really asking: is “something good” always what someone needs?
Because Jungkook doesn’t recognize affection as safe. The boy has trained himself not to see it—thanks to a past that weaponized intimacy against him. So of course he doesn’t clock Tessa’s interest. It’s not him being stupid. It’s a trauma-informed blind spot. He’s too tuned into control dynamics to perceive sincerity when it’s offered without strings. (And let’s be real, how many of us have had our receptors miswired by the wrong person?)
That’s where the mutual curiosity comes in—both Y/N and Jungkook ask about each other’s dating lives in this chapter. Not because they’re pining or secretly in love or any of that fluff. They’re not. What they are, though, is interested. Maybe not in a romantic sense, but definitely in a human one. They’re trying to read each other. Understand each other. That’s what friends do. Or, in their case, that’s what trying to be friends looks like. They’re clumsy, they’re defensive, but they’re showing care in the only languages they know—flour fights and 3 AM bread commentary and checking if the other person is sleeping with someone else, just to make sense of the shape of things.
And Jungkook? For all his snark and dodging—he reads her this chapter. Like really reads her. He names her deflections. Calls out her need for control. Gives her permission to let go in ways no one else has. That kitchen scene isn’t romantic, it’s recognition. And that’s what makes it intimate. Not love. Not pining. But connection.
The vanilla extract moment—look, I know some of you are rolling your eyes at the "of course it's vanilla because that's Y/N's scent" metaphor, but hear me out. The fact that he was drinking it? That's not cute quirky behavior—that's concerning. It's self-medication disguised as harmless habit. For those of you who don’t know or haven’t caught up—vanilla extract is ethanol. Which means, it is alcohol. And Y/N recognizing it but choosing to transform it into something sensual instead of confronting it directly? That's her attempting to heal through intimacy rather than conversation, which is very much her emotional language at this point in the story.
Anyway. Enjoy the mess. Enjoy the tension. Enjoy Jungkook's dirty talk and Y/N's stubborn deflection and the way they're both falling without admitting it. It's about to get so much more complicated, and I am absolutely living for it.

You're halfway to sleep when the knock comes.
Soft at first, almost hesitant, like whoever's on the other side isn't sure they should be there.
"What?" you mumble, voice thick with exhaustion.
No response.
Another knock, louder this time.
"Whatttt?" you snap, sitting up and glaring at the door.
Still no answer.
With an annoyed huff, you throw off the covers and march to the door, yanking it open—and nearly stumble into Jungkook.
He's leaning against the frame, one arm braced above his head like he's posing for a magazine cover. His hair is messy, his silver ring catching the faint light from the hallway.
You take a step back instinctively, narrowing your eyes. "What do you want? It's three in the morning."
He tilts his head toward the kitchenette, lips quirking into that infuriating half-smile. "I'm making sourdough."
You blink at him. "Sourdough?"
"Remember I told you about my Steam nickname? The baking pun?" He raises an eyebrow like he's daring you to remember.
"Huh," you say flatly, still trying to process why this man is standing outside your room at an ungodly hour talking about bread.
"Wanna see?" he asks, his grin widening.
"No," you reply immediately, crossing your arms. "Why would I want to see your midnight bread experiment?"
"Because it's cool," he says simply, as if that explains everything.
You stare at him for a long moment before sighing and stepping out of your room.
"Fine. But if this is stupid—"
"It's not stupid," he interrupts, already turning toward the kitchenette. "It's art."
"Oh my god," you mutter, following him reluctantly.
The counter is a mess of flour and bowls and what looks like a dough blob covered with a damp cloth. Jungkook gestures at it like it's a masterpiece.
"Behold," he says dramatically. "The future of bread."
You squint at it.
"It looks like a brain."
"Shows what you know about baking," he retorts, grabbing a wooden spoon and poking at the edges of the dough. "This is proofing."
"You're proofing my patience right now," you mutter, leaning against the counter.
He smirks but doesn't look up from his work. "You're just jealous because I have hobbies."
"Making bread at 3 AM isn't a hobby; it's a cry for help."
"Says the girl who reads Kafka for fun."
"It's called intellectual stimulation."
"It's called depressing bug stories."
You roll your eyes as he starts shaping the dough.
"So this is what you do when you can't sleep? Play housewife?"
"Better than doomscrolling Twitter," he shoots back without missing a beat.
"Shut up." You watch him for a moment longer before asking, "Why sourdough?"
His hands pause briefly before resuming their rhythm.
"My mom taught me how to make it when I was younger," he says quietly. "I loved it, so I picked it up quite easily. I guess it's just habit now."
There's something softer in his voice now, something almost reverent.
You don't press him for more details; it feels like enough that he shared this much.
"But I mean... why do it now?" you ask instead.
He shrugs but doesn't look up. "I told you, it helps me think."
You scoff, trying to keep the mood from dipping too far into serious territory. He finishes shaping the dough and places it on a tray before turning back to you.
"Wanna help?" he asks, holding out the wooden spoon.
"Nope," you say immediately.
"Oh come on." He wiggles the spoon enticingly. "Live a little."
"I'm living just fine without touching your weird blob bread."
"You're no fun."
He sets the spoon down with exaggerated disappointment and starts cleaning up the counter.
You watch him for another moment before grabbing the spoon and poking at the dough experimentally. It feels weirdly satisfying under your fingers—soft but firm, pliable but resistant.
Jungkook glances over and smirks again.
"See? Told you it was cool."
"Don't push it," you warn, but there's no real bite in your tone.
He chuckles softly and continues tidying up while you poke at his sourdough creation like it might reveal some hidden secrets about him—or maybe just about yourself.
And somehow, in this quiet kitchen at three in the morning, surrounded by flour and sarcasm and unexpected softness, it feels... okay.
You're still poking at the dough when Jungkook flicks a bit of flour in your direction. It lands on your arm, a tiny white puff against your skin.
"Oops," he says, not sounding sorry at all.
You narrow your eyes. "Don't start something you can't finish, Rogue."
His eyebrows shoot up at the nickname, a challenge sparking in his eyes.
"Is that a threat, Phoenix?"
"Yes it is."
You dip your fingers into the flour bag and flick it back at him, leaving a white streak across his black t-shirt.
"Oh, that's how it's gonna be?" He grins, reaching for more flour.
You back away, holding up your hands. "Don't you dare."
"What are you gonna do about it?" He advances slowly, a handful of flour cupped in his palm like a weapon.
"I'm serious, Jungkook," you warn, but you're already calculating escape routes. "I just showered."
"Should've thought about that before you started a war."
You dart around the sofa, putting it between you.
"This is childish."
"Says the girl hiding behind furniture," he counters, mirroring your movements as you circle the couch.
"I'm being smart."
"You're being a chicken."
You gasp in fake outrage. "Take that back!"
"No can do," he taunts, lunging suddenly to the left.
You shriek and bolt right, nearly slipping on the tile as you move through the narrow space between the coffee table and the couch. He's right behind you, laughing as you sprint to the other side.
"Get away from me, you monster!" you yell, but you're laughing too, the absurdity of the situation hitting you.
"Never!" he calls back, his voice pitched higher in a cartoonish villain impression. "Ueheheheh!"
You grab a throw pillow as a shield, holding it in front of you.
"I'm warning you!"
"Oh no, not the pillow," he mocks, still advancing. "Whatever shall I do?"
You swing it at him, but he dodges easily, grabbing your wrist with his flour-free hand.
Before you can react, he's smearing the flour across your cheek, touch surprisingly gentle despite the roughhousing.
"Got you," he says, voice low and triumphant.
You retaliate immediately, snatching the bag of flour from the counter and shoving your hand in.
"Fuck that, this means war!"
And so then, war begins indeed.
Flour flying everywhere, breathless laughter echoing through the apartment, furniture used as barricades and launch pads.
You leave white handprints on his shoulders when you try to push him away; he leaves them on your waist when he catches you mid-escape.
The aftermath leaves the kitchen floor looking like a disaster zone, flour coating every surface like a dusting of snow.
You're both covered in it—hair, clothes, skin—looking like ghosts in a low-budget horror movie.
"Truce?" you gasp finally, out of breath from laughing and running.
"Never surrender," he declares, lunging for you again.
You dodge, but your sock slips on the flour-covered floor, and before you fall, Jungkook grabs you, steadying you with a hand on your waist.
"Gotcha," he says again, softer this time, his face inches from yours.
You're both breathing hard, covered in flour.
His eyes flick down to your lips, then back up, a question in them.
And then—
SMACK.
His hand connects with your ass in a playful swat, leaving a perfect white handprint on your black sleep shorts.
You gasp in outrage as he dances away, cackling like a maniac.
"You did NOT just—"
"I did," he confirms, looking far too pleased with himself. "And it's a work of art, if I do say so myself."
You glance over your shoulder, trying to see the handprint.
"I'm going to kill you."
"Worth it," he declares, already backing away as you advance on him. "Totally worth it."
"You're dead, Ro," you threaten, grabbing another handful of flour. "Dead!"
He just laughs, eyes bright with mischief, not looking sorry at all.
"Come and get me then, Phoenix."
And despite yourself, despite the mess and the late hour and the flour in places flour should never be, you're laughing too, chasing him around the kitchen like you're both twelve years old instead of college students with responsibilities and complicated lives.
It's ridiculous. It's childish.
It's the most fun you've had in weeks.
Flour permeates the kitchen air like falling snowflakes.
Jungkook is now leaning against the counter, still grinning like the Cheshire cat, surveying the flour-dusted disaster.
You, for your part, are trying to brush flour off your arms, which is mostly just smearing it around.
"You know," Jungkook says, his voice laced with that fake-innocent tone he uses when he's about to say something outrageous, "all this flour… it's probably not great for your pores."
You eye him suspiciously. "And?"
"And," he continues, pushing off the counter and taking a step closer, "you should probably shower again."
"Yeah, no shit, Sherlock." You gesture vaguely at your flour-coated state.
"I could help," he offers. "You know… save water. Be environmentally conscious."
You burst out laughing, a startled, disbelieving sound.
"Are you serious right now? We just had a flour war, and your first thought is how to get laid?"
"Efficiency, Nix," he says, tapping his temple. "Always thinking efficiency."
"You're deranged," you choke out between laughs. "A completely deranged, horny bitch."
He just shrugs, unbothered.
"Maybe. But think of the planet."
You're still chuckling, shaking your head at his sheer audacity, when a thought flickers through your mind, uninvited and slightly uncomfortable.
Tessa.
If he actually starts dating her, if they become a thing… this—the easy banter, the late-night flirting, the casual hookups—it would all have to stop, right? You can't exactly keep sleeping with him if he has a girlfriend.
The thought leaves a weird, vaguely metallic taste in your mouth. Not jealousy, exactly. You don't want Jungkook in that way.
But the dynamic you have, this messy, undefined thing… it's familiar.
Weirdly comfortable in its own chaotic way.
The idea of it changing, ending… it's just… weird.
You push the thought away, shaking your head again, trying to clear it. Not your problem right now.
"Yeah, I'll pass on your noble environmental efforts," you say, trying to regain control of the conversation.
You look around at the white-dusted apartment, then back at him.
"Seriously though, when did you even get home? I didn't hear you come in at all."
He leans back against the counter again, crossing his arms over his flour-streaked chest.
"A while ago. Maybe you were too busy dreaming about me to notice."
"In your dreams, Rogue." You pick a stray piece of dough off your sleeve. "I was sleeping. Like normal people do at"—you glance at the microwave clock—"three-thirty in the morning."
"Normal is boring," he counters easily. "Besides, I'm stealthy. Like a ninja. A bread-making ninja."
"A messy ninja," you correct, gesturing at the flour coating literally everything, including him. "You look like a powdered donut."
"A sexy powdered donut," he clarifies, striking a pose.
You snort. "Keep telling yourself that."
You start trying to wipe down a section of the counter with a paper towel, which mostly just creates floury streaks.
"Seriously though, you didn't make any noise. I would've heard the door."
He shrugs, grabbing another paper towel and starting to help, surprisingly.
"Maybe I'm just light on my feet. Or maybe your ears are full of wax."
"Rude."
You throw the floury paper towel at him. He dodges it effortlessly.
"Just stating facts," he says, grinning. "Maybe you should get them checked. Could be impacting your hearing. Explains why you never listen to me."
"I listen," you argue, crumpling up another paper towel. "I just usually choose to ignore you because ninety percent of what you say is bullshit."
"That feels statistically inaccurate," he muses, wiping down the handle of the fridge. He leaves a faint white handprint behind. "I'd say it's more like… eighty-two percent bullshit. The other eighteen percent is pure genius."
"Delusional," you mutter, tackling the flour patch on the floor near the sink. "Completely delusional."
He stops wiping and just watches you for a second, a thoughtful expression replacing the usual smirk.
"You really didn't hear me come in?"
"No," you say, looking up. "Why? Should I have?"
He shakes his head, the smirk returning.
"Nah. Just means my ninja skills are improving. Or you're a really heavy sleeper." He leans closer, lowering his voice conspiratorially. "Do you snore, Nix? Is that your dirty little secret?"
"I do not snore," you hiss, flicking water at him. "And get out of my personal space."
He laughs, easily dodging the water droplets. "Just asking!"
He resumes wiping the counter, humming softly under his breath.
You watch him for a moment, thoughts about Tessa still churning in your mind.
It's ridiculous, standing here covered in flour at nearly four in the morning, cleaning up a mess you both made, arguing about ninja skills and snoring.
But somehow, it feels… normal. Your kind of normal, anyway.
Messy, complicated, and definitely not boring.
You're on your hands and knees, attempting to wipe up a particularly stubborn patch of flour near the leg of the kitchen island, when you decide to go for it.
Operation: Tessa Reconnaissance. For the sisterhood, obviously.
And maybe a tiny bit because you're curious how this whole mess fits together.
"So," you say, keeping your voice casual as you swipe uselessly at the floor, "your friends seem… like a lot."
Jungkook snorts from where he's attempting to de-flour the coffee maker.
"Yeah, they're idiots. But they're my idiots."
"Including Library Girl?" you ask, aiming for nonchalance. "The redhead? Tessa?"
He pauses, glancing over his shoulder.
"Tessa? Yeah, she was there. Why?"
"No reason," you say quickly, maybe too quickly, focusing intently on the flour patch. "Just noticed you two talking a lot. She seems… nice."
"She is nice," he agrees easily, turning back to the coffee maker. "Super smart, too. Knows her shit about film. Like, really knows it."
Okay, good start. He acknowledges her existence and intelligence. Phase one complete.
"Yeah?" you prompt. "She mentioned you guys talked about… Park Chan-wook?"
You pronounce the name carefully, hoping you got it right based on Tessa's text.
He brightens instantly, forgetting the coffee maker entirely and turning to face you fully.
"Dude, yes! She actually got why The Handmaiden is structured the way it is. Most people just focus on the twists, but she was talking about the shifting perspectives and visual storytelling… it was cool."
His enthusiasm is genuine, almost nerdy. It's the same way he lit up talking about John Mayer's guitar playing. He's clearly impressed by her film knowledge.
"So… you like her?" you ask, trying to sound like you're just making conversation while scrubbing the floor.
"Yeah, she's cool," he says easily. "Definitely one of the few people in that class who isn't a total poser. We had this debate about Bong Joon-ho's genre blending—it was actually interesting."
He seems focused entirely on the intellectual connection. No hint of anything else.
Time for phase two: physical attraction assessment.
"She's really pretty, too," you add, still scrubbing. "Like, model pretty."
He shrugs, grabbing a damp cloth to wipe down the counter where his dough blob still sits.
"Yeah, I guess. Didn't really notice."
You stop scrubbing and look up at him incredulously. "You didn't notice? She looks like she walked off a runway and directly into that ramen shop. How could you not notice?"
He frowns slightly, like he's genuinely trying to recall her appearance beyond 'classmate'.
"I mean, she's got… hair? And a face? I don't know, Nix, I was more focused on the conversation." He seems genuinely perplexed by your insistence. "Why are you so hung up on how she looks?"
"I'm not hung up!" you retort, feeling defensive for reasons you can't quite articulate. "I just… stating facts. She's objectively attractive."
"Okay?" He draws the word out, like he doesn't understand the relevance. "Lots of people are attractive. Doesn't mean anything."
He gestures vaguely with the damp cloth.
"Are we gonna finish cleaning this up or are we analyzing the relative hotness of my classmates now?"
You huff, returning to your floor scrubbing.
Unbelievable. Either he's genuinely oblivious or he's the world's best actor.
Given his track record, oblivious seems more likely.
"Fine," you mutter. "Just making an observation."
"Well, observe the flour patch you missed by the trash can," he retorts, pointing with the cloth.
You glare at the spot, then at him.
"Bossy."
"Best one."
You crawl over to the trash can, wiping up the offending flour.
Okay, so he acknowledges she's nice, smart, shares his interests, but is apparently blind to the fact that she's a literal goddess?
Why are men so confusing?
"So," you try again, shifting tactics. "Since she's so cool and smart and into the same weird movies as you… you gonna ask her out?"
He stops wiping again, looking genuinely surprised by the question.
"Ask her out? Why would I do that?"
"Because… you like her? You just said she was cool and smart?"
Are you losing your mind? Is he actually this dense?
"Yeah, as a friend," he says, like it's the most obvious thing in the world. "We're in the same class. We talk about movies. That's… what friends do?"
"Jungkook," you say slowly, sitting back on your heels and facing him directly. "Girls like Tessa—girls who look like her and are that nice—don't usually go out of their way to talk to guys about obscure Korean directors unless they're interested."
He stares at you, blinking. Like the concept is entirely foreign.
"Wait, you think she… likes me? Like, likes likes me?"
"Is there an echo in here?" you ask dryly. "Yes, you absolute walnut. That's generally how that works."
He runs a hand through his flour-dusted hair, looking completely bewildered.
"No way. She's just… friendly. People are friendly sometimes, Nix."
"Not that friendly," you insist. "Trust me. There's friendly, and then there's 'laughing at all your jokes and touching your arm every five minutes' friendly. That's different."
He actually seems to consider this, replaying interactions in his head.
His brow furrows.
"She does laugh a lot… And she did touch my arm…" He looks back at you, still skeptical. "But maybe she's just, like, a touchy person?"
"Or maybe she wants to touch your dick," you deadpan.
He chokes on air, eyes widening.
"Dude! What the fuck?"
"Just saying! It's a possibility you seem to have completely overlooked."
He shakes his head, a disbelieving laugh escaping him.
"Nah. No way. You're messing with me."
"I'm really not," you say, suddenly feeling bad for Tessa—because this poor beautiful girl is putting in the effort, and he's completely clueless. "She basically told me she likes you."
"She told you?" Finally, he looks like oxygen is reaching his brain. "When?"
"At the party. We talked for a bit."
"And she just… announced her romantic interest in me? To my roommate? That seems weird."
"It wasn't like that! She was asking for advice! Because she was nervous!" You're practically defending her now. "She's really sweet, Rogue. And clearly into you."
He leans back against the counter again, processing this information.
He doesn't look smug or pleased, just… thoughtful.
And maybe a little overwhelmed.
"Huh," he says softly. "Never would've guessed."
He's quiet for a moment, staring down at the floury cloth in his hand.
"I mean, she is… really nice."
"So?" you prompt. "Now that you know the feeling might be mutual…?"
He sighs, dropping the cloth into the sink.
"I don't know, Nix."
"What do you mean, you don't know?"
He avoids your eyes, turning on the faucet and starting to rinse the cloth with unnecessary focus.
"Dating's… complicated, you know?"
"Everything's complicated with you," you mutter.
He glances back, a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes before it's gone.
"Yeah, well. Maybe that's just how it is." He turns off the water, wringing out the cloth. "Besides, I'm not really… looking for anything right now."
"You're never looking for anything," you point out. "Except maybe your keys. Or a clean mug."
"Exactly," he says, attempting a grin, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes. "Too busy looking for my keys."
There it is again. That deflection. That hint of something heavier beneath that he refuses to acknowledge.
You think about what Yoongi said, about Mia, about Jungkook needing to be careful.
Maybe he's right to be hesitant.
"Okay," you say quietly, deciding not to push it further.
You've done your recon. You have information for Tessa, even if it's not the straightforward green light she might be hoping for.
"Just… don't be a dick to her, alright? If you're not interested, fine. But she's nice. She doesn't deserve games."
He looks surprised by your defense of her.
"I wasn't planning on playing games." He hesitates, then adds, almost reluctantly, "She does seem… different. From…"
He trails off, but you know who he means.
Mia.
An awkward silence hangs between you for a moment.
Unspoken history and potential futures.
Jungkook breaks it first, clapping his hands together with forced brightness.
"Okay, enough about my potential love life," he says, a mischievous glint returning to his eyes. "Let's talk yours. How was the date with Jason?"
You freeze, paper towel in hand, caught off guard by the sudden shift in conversation.
"What?"
He's halfway through sweeping a particularly stubborn pile of flour when he pauses, leaning on the broom handle.
"You know, Jason? Tall guy, glasses, probably owns more vests than actual personality traits?" He waves the broom vaguely. "The one you were all dressed up for earlier?"
"I wasn't dressed up," you protest automatically, even though you know it's a lie.
You definitely put effort into your appearance for that coffee date.
Jungkook snorts.
"Please. You were wearing makeup on a Sunday. And that green top thing that makes your—" He cuts himself off, clearing his throat. "Anyway. Spill. How'd it go with Professor Boring?"
You narrow your eyes at him.
"His name is Jason, and he's not boring. He's... mature."
"Mature," Jungkook repeats, drawing out the word like it's a foreign concept. "Right. Because that's what every college student dreams of. Maturity."
"Some of us actually want to date functioning adults," you retort.
"Functioning is overrated," he says with a grin. "But seriously, how was it? Did he dazzle you with his extensive knowledge of... what does he study again? 18th-century doorknobs?"
"Modern literature," you correct, rolling your eyes. "And it was nice."
Jungkook raises an eyebrow.
"Nice? That's it? Wow, don't oversell it or anything."
You sigh, grabbing the dustpan to help him with the flour pile.
"It was really nice, okay? He's smart, and he actually listens when I talk. We had a great conversation about female agency in Gothic novels."
"Riveting," Jungkook deadpans. "I'm sure the sexual tension was off the charts. Did you hold hands while discussing the patriarchal oppression of women in corsets?"
"You're such an ass," you mutter, but there's no real heat behind it. "Not everything has to be about sexual tension, you know."
"Doesn't have to be," he agrees, sweeping the last of the flour into the dustpan you're holding. "But it sure makes things more interesting."
And yeah, you catch him looking.
That look.
The one that says he's already decided how this ends.
One hand still loosely gripping the broom handle, the other braced against the table as he leans into it like he's posing for a fucking cologne ad.
You don't acknowledge it at first. Too proud. Too fucking annoyed by how easily he can flip the switch. One second you're arguing about Gothic literature and vests, the next—he's practically leaking testosterone across the countertop.
"I know that face," you mutter, not even looking up. "That's your 'I need to nut or I'll die' face."
He grins, unbothered. "Not wrong."
"Go jerk off in your sad little windowless cave like a normal person."
He shrugs, grabbing the bag of flour again, sifting some through his fingers with mock concentration.
"Mmm. Say it again. That mouth of yours, Pix… always so fuckin' mouthy."
You roll your eyes, but your stomach dips. "Maybe if you had more than two brain cells to rub together, I wouldn't have to talk so much."
"Yeah?" he says, ignoring the flour and stepping forward.
One stride. Two. And then he's right in front of you, eyes glinting.
"Keep runnin' that smart pretty mouth. See what happens."
You're about to fire something back—something snarky, something biting—but he grabs you.
Just yanks you forward by the waistband like it's nothing. Like you're nothing but a ragdoll he gets to toss around.
Your body stumbles into his chest and suddenly both his hands are on your ass, gripping it with filthy enthusiasm—greedy, solid handfuls of flesh through thin cotton, palms still dusty with flour. His fingers press, squeeze, spread, claim.
You gasp—too startled to bite it back.
And he fucking grins.
"See what you do to me when you act like that?"
His cock's hard against your stomach. Rock solid. Obvious. Shameless. He doesn't even try to hide it.
"God, Nix," he mutters, voice thick now. "C'mon. It's been too long."
You snort. "I sucked your winny yesterday."
He breaks—a bark of laughter, genuine and scandalized.
"Winny?" he repeats, like he can't believe you said it. "You calling my dick a preschool toy now?"
You shrug, deadpan. "Fits. Loud, annoying, kind of a drama queen."
He leans in again, dragging his mouth close, too close.
"Uh-uh, and I ate you out the day before that," he says, scornful little smile tugging at his lips like he's winning something. "So technically… still overdue."
"So?" you snap, but your voice is breathier than it should be. "That's not overdue."
"It is," he says, like it's math. "I mean actually being inside you. Kinda been craving it for a while now."
You swallow. Loud.
"Should I bend you over the kitchen table?" he murmurs. "Fuck you from behind? Bet you'd like that, huh?"
"Please," you scoff. "You'd probably knock over your sacred sourdough."
He grins, cocky and low and unbearable.
"So protective of the dough. But not my Winny?"
You slap his chest, trying not to laugh.
"Don't say it like that."
"Me? You gave it a name, so… C'mon, give my Winny some love, Pix."
You snort, and it comes out halfway between a laugh and a groan because your thighs are starting to ache with how badly you want pressure. Relief. Something.
"Counter or table?" he asks, already walking you backwards.
You hesitate. Just a second.
"…Counter."
He doesn't wait. Doesn't ask. Just grabs you and lifts like it's easy, like you weigh nothing. Drops your ass right onto the cool marble and steps between your legs—close enough your knees bracket his hips.
And his voice? His voice is low and filthy and unforgiving.
"Atta girl."
His mouth is on you before you can roll your eyes.
Hot, hungry kisses trailing up your neck—messy, unhurried, lips dragging like he wants to brand you. He bites at your jaw, just enough pressure to make your breath hitch. You tilt your head without thinking, baring your throat like a fucking offering.
And he groans—low and wrecked—like that does something to him. Like you're giving him more than skin.
His hands stay on your thighs, thumbs digging into the soft crease near your hips, holding you open while he devours.
You blink, and something catches the light near the sink.
Tiny. Brown. Familiar.
Your arm reaches past him, still off-balance on the counter. Fingers curl around it—vanilla extract.
You hold it up between two fingers, smirking.
"Why the fuck is this out?"
His head lifts just enough to glance at what you mean.
"Oh," he says, then immediately dives back in, mouthing at your collarbone like he didn't just answer you. "Nothing. Was sipping a lil bit earlier."
Your body stiffens. Barely. But he feels it.
You don't say anything for a second. You just… look at the bottle.
That rooftop moment. Yesterday. Him alone up there while the party buzzed under your feet. You didn't press then, just made a joke, let him deflect.
But it doesn't take a genius to figure out why someone drinks baking extract ethanol like it's bourbon.
You lick your lips. Keep your voice easy. Teasing.
"That why you smell like a cookie?"
He huffs a laugh against your throat. "You love it. Bet it's makin' you wet just thinking about biting into me."
He's joking. He's back to kissing.
But the bottle is still in your hand, glass warm from your skin, rolling between your fingers like it's got a heartbeat.
And okay. Fine. Maybe you're a little unhinged too.
"Wanna try something?" you ask, voice quiet, a little hoarse.
His head lifts slow. Eyes lazy. Lips wet.
He tilts his head, cock twitching against you like it heard the shift in your voice before he did.
"Yeah?" he says, grinning like he already knows he's gonna say yes no matter what it is. "What're we trying, Phoenix?"
Because you know—you know this man would let you pour hot sauce on his dick if you told him it'd turn you on.
His gaze flicks to the bottle still resting against your palm. Back to your mouth.
"Fuck, yeah," he says, voice already going gravel. "Show me."
You dab two fingers against the lip of the bottle, tilting it just enough to coat your skin in that sticky-sweet scent. Not much—just enough to cling. Your pulse, your collarbone, the hinge of your neck.
His eyes track everything. Like he's under hypnosis.
Slow drag up your wrist, down your throat. Pupils blown wide. Tongue peeking out to wet his bottom lip like it's instinct.
And then you offer it to him.
Your throat—tilted, bare. Vanilla blooming warm across your skin, seeping into heat, mixing with your scent.
You watch his jaw tick, tension wrapped in restraint.
He hesitates. Just for a breath. Not because he's unsure. But because he knows what'll happen if he starts.
His eyes drop to your hand. Then back up to your face. And then—
He grabs your wrist, rough but reverent, and slides your fingers straight into his mouth.
His tongue curls around them, sucks them clean like he's starving and this is the only sweet thing he's allowed to have.
His eyes don't leave yours for a second.
Heavy. Dark. Quietly fucking feral.
You feel it in your cunt.
That twitch—sharp and sudden—when he lets your fingers fall from his mouth with a wet pop and immediately dives back into your neck.
No warning. No mercy.
Just mouth on skin, lips dragging open over the vanilla, tongue flattening against your throat like he's licking you clean. Like you're the bottle. Like he's drunk and this is the relapse.
"Mmmfph—fuck," he groans against your neck, hot breath flooding over your skin. "You're—fuck—you're dessert, Phoenix."
He's biting now. Mouthing. Bruising.
Your head falls back against the cabinets with a dull thud and you don't care. Not even a little.
His hands are under your thighs again, yanking you closer to the edge of the counter like he's going to eat you here and now and be proud of the mess.
He doesn't stop licking your neck—just shifts slightly, mouth dragging lower, wetter, hungrier—until he can grab the flask again without even looking. He uncaps it one-handed, like he's done it a hundred times in the dark.
Because he probably has.
And then he's holding it over your chest.
"Hold still, Phoenix."
Voice low. Thick with something needy.
You barely nod before the cool drip hits your skin—fuck—a slow, deliberate trail spilling from the center of your collarbone and down, sliding between your tits, disappearing under the fabric of your tank top.
He watches it move. Doesn't blink. Bites his bottom lip like he's trying to restrain himself and failing spectacularly.
"Fuckkk," he mutters under his breath, and the way he stares?
You'd think he just watched God part the Red Sea between your tits.
But he can't see where it goes. Not really. Because of the shirt.
And that?
That's unacceptable.
So he doesn't ask. Doesn't even warn.
He just grabs the hem of your tank and yanks it up, fast and messy, until it's bunched under your armpits. The cool air hits your bare skin, but his gaze is scorching—dragging down to your breasts, then lower, following the trail of sticky syrup that's now sliding beneath.
He drops the flask without care.
Leans in.
And presses his mouth to the spot just under your breasts, where the drip ends. A hot, open-mouthed kiss. Tongue darting out to chase the taste.
He groans against your skin, like you're something forbidden and fuck, he's eating it anyway.
Then he starts licking up.
Slow. Thorough. Filthy.
Tongue dragging up the underside of your tits, between them, following the line of vanilla all the way back to your cleavage. His breath is hot and shaky, hands holding your thighs tight like he needs to anchor himself before he devours you.
"You taste like fucking heaven," he growls against your skin.
And you can barely breathe.
You lean back on your palms, spine arching subtly, thighs spreading wider across the counter—silent invitation.
His mouth twitches. Just slightly. Like he's trying to play it cool, like he's not already mentally wrecked.
Your fingers close around the vanilla bottle again.
And you tip it over your stomach.
A thin stream spills, slow and syrupy, tracing a path from just under your ribs down to your navel.
Sticky gold pooling in that soft dip, then slipping lower—toward your waistband, beneath it.
He stops.
Mid-breath.
Eyes drop.
Then drag back up to your face, slow as fucking sin.
And those eyes… those fucking eyes.
Dark like blackout curtains. Hungry. But quiet, too. Restrained. Like he's hanging onto the last thread of control and it's fraying fast.
He bites his lip again, teeth dragging over it, jaw flexing.
You raise a brow.
"Aren't you licking the vanilla off my skin, Rogue?" you say, voice steady, teasing, like your pulse isn't sprinting. "Go ahead."
He snorts through his nose—horny.
It's not even a laugh, not really. More like disbelief.
"Jesus, you're such a fucking menace."
Then he moves.
Hands at your waistband, yanking your shorts down like they've personally offended him.
There's no grace. No finesse. Just desperate, fumbling urgency, like if he doesn't get them off now he might lose it.
They hit the floor. So do your panties.
And then he drops to his knees.
Hooks your thighs over his elbows and pulls you closer to the edge of the counter, eyes level with your pussy. Eye to eye with his fucking meal, and the smirk that twitches at the edge of his mouth is so cocky it should be illegal.
But then he pauses.
Eyes catch on the fact that you're smooth. Bare.
His gaze flicks up, that same damn smirk sharpening.
"So you did plan on wishing me a happy birthday, huh?"
You groan, head thunking back against the cabinets.
"Shut up before I change my mind."
He just laughs, grabbing your thigh and yanking you closer, like that's his response.
It is.
"Thanks for the gift," he says with mock sincerity, "but like… full runway smooth? Nix. Just so you know, I like a little design."
You gape at him.
Is he serious right now?
Does he ever stop speaking?
Or think before he speaks? Like 'oh this might sound embarrassing coming from my mouth, I probably should keep it to myself.'
No. Definitely no.
"Design?"
He nods, dead serious now.
"I'm just saying. Little lightning bolt? Maybe a star? I could help you trim it next time. Get real artsy with it."
"I hate you," you mutter, scandalized and laughing, because of course this is what he's focusing on.
"I'm just saying…" he defends, grinning like a madman. "Bare's too creepy. I like texture, Phoenix. But not, like, a forest. I'm not tryna floss with it."
"God, you're disgusting," you shoot back, heat simmering low in your gut despite the absurdity.
"Disgustingly honest," he counters. "I want a little… edge. Like an angled fade. A pussy taper."
You laugh so hard your core clenches and he notices. Eyes drop. His smirk vanishes.
And just like that, he's focused again. Hands tightening around your thighs. Mouth opening. Ready to dive in.
But not before he whispers:
"Now be good and let me taste my birthday cake."
His mouth hovers. That maddening space—right there, close enough to feel his breath but not close enough to feel him.
It's hot. Each exhale fanning over your cunt like a fucking tease. You twitch, involuntary, hips tilting forward on reflex, thighs tensing around his shoulders.
"Rogue," you murmur, half-warn, half-beg.
He smirks. That slow, cocky pull of his lips that tells you he's going to drag this out just to see how long it takes before you snap.
He leans in, tongue barely peeking out like he's going to lick—
And then doesn't.
"I will actually punch you in the face," you hiss.
But he's already grabbing the bottle again.
His other hand steadies you, fingers splayed on your thigh, as he lifts the vanilla flask to eye level. Tips it slightly.
"Wait—" You grab a fistful of his hair. "Wait. Is that even safe?"
He pauses. Looks up at you, eyes wide, surprised—but not annoyed. Just… calm.
"Yeah," he says, voice casual but sincere. "This one's alcohol-based, not oil. No sugar. Won't mess with your PH or anything, I like your pussy way too much to risk it."
You roll your eyes, but okay. Fine. He's got a point.
And he's never put you in danger—annoyed, yes. Insane with frustration, absolutely.
But never unsafe.
"Okay," you mutter. "Proceed with your perversion."
"Oh, I plan to."
He uncaps it.
And the way he does it—so casually, like this is just some Wednesday night extracurricular?—makes your whole body lock up in anticipation.
He tips the bottle, lets a slow stream of vanilla drizzle from just above your navel, down the curve of your belly, heading lower.
It tickles. Warm and sticky, trailing through your folds, and your whole fucking body tenses with it.
His tongue flicks out, but this time, it's not teasing—it's the real deal.
His tongue drags up.
One long, slow stroke—base to tip—starting where your thighs twitch and ending where the vanilla's pooled.
He groans into it. Groans. Like it's crème fucking brûlée and he's been starving for a week. Like your cunt is the main course and dessert and a Michelin star.
You blink down at him, suddenly weirdly self-conscious.
Because—why the fuck is he acting like it's the best thing he's ever tasted?
It's vanilla extract and you, not caviar. Chill.
Your instinct is to kick him. Or flick his stupid forehead. Something.
But your cunt's already clenching around nothing, wetter than you want to admit.
Because—goddammit—his enthusiasm is doing something to you.
Like deeply. Shamefully. Physically.
You glance down, ready to call him dramatic. Maybe smack the back of his head.
But his eyes are closed.
And not in a performative way. Not for show.
They're hidden—lashes soaked, hair falling in messy dark strands over his brows. His whole face is fucking soft—relaxed, like he's at peace. Like this is meditation. Like your pussy is his church.
You reach down, tug his hair back just enough to uncover his face—need to see him.
Need to look.
And then—fuck. He looks up.
And he smirks. Caught you in 4K. Knew exactly what you were doing.
You want to smack him. Or yank his head down harder. Or kiss him. Or maybe scream.
It's all too much. He's too much.
But he just shifts again, mouth zeroing in now—on your clit this time. Tongue flat. Warm. Pressure steady and—fuck, fuck—
Your head slams back against the cabinet. You don't even feel it.
Because he's staring straight at you while he licks.
Intense. Sure. Smug. Like he knows. And the worst part?
He does.
You don't like eye contact. You hate eye contact.
Or—you did. Before he made it his fucking thing.
Now it's some kind of sex death ray. You're melting under it. You can't breathe under it.
He pulls back just enough to speak, his voice hoarse, lips slick with you.
"So mouthy up there…" he breathes, thumb dragging over your inner thigh. "But fuck, you're weepin' for me down here."
You choke on your own spit.
"Shut the fuck up with your cringy little sex monologue."
He snorts. Has the audacity to laugh into your cunt like it's funny.
"Uhhh? I thought we were past that whole thing where you pretend you don't like my dirty talk."
"I don't—"
He cuts you off with a slow circle of his tongue around your clit. Just once. Cruel.
"Right. That's why you got all hot when you said, 'Do you want me to ride you?'" he mimics, low and teasing. "Looked me in the eye when you said it, too. Said it just like that. Fuckin' purring, Pix."
You groan. "God, I hate you."
He grins. "No, you don't. You just hate that you like this."
Another lick.
Another smug look.
Another twitch deep in your gut.
And all you can do is glare at him—until his mouth is back on you, and then you can't even do that.
Because fuck, he picks up the pace.
Your right leg bends, heel dragging up his arm, foot planting itself on his shoulder like it belongs there. Toes curling the second his tongue swirls just right—just there. Over and over. Unrelenting.
Your whole torso arches back, spine stretched out like a bow. Head thunked against the cupboard above, hands gripping the edge of the counter so tight your knuckles go white.
And he doesn't stop.
Both his hands keep you steady, locked around your thighs, until the right one slides up—palm dragging over your skin, hot and too much. It settles right in that spot between your hip and waist. Thumb pressing into your side like an anchor.
Like he's keeping you from falling.
Like you're breakable.
You want to scream. Or sob. Or maybe just bite him for being so fucking considerate while simultaneously licking your pussy like he's trying to win a Michelin star.
You whimper. Actually whimper.
Because it's too much.
Because how the fuck does he even do that with his tongue?
It's obscene. Criminal. Feels like he's mapping you from memory now—like he's figured out every angle, every twitch, every exact combination that gets you to the edge in five minutes or less.
And—fuck—there it is.
That low hum in your belly, spiraling sharp and fast, heat pulsing outward. Nerve endings tightening. Your thighs start to close but he forces them open with a flex of his arms, tongue flattening again.
You gasp. Loud. Desperate.
Your hand flies down to his head and you yank his hair—hard.
He growls against you, frustrated, head jerking up, lips glossy and chin slick and brows scrunched like he's ready to fight.
"What," he snaps, breathless, panting. "What—what the fuck—"
You just whisper, shaky:
"Inside."
He blinks. Once. Twice.
Mouth parts. Eyes still a little wild.
"Huh?"
You meet his gaze, still breathless.
"I wanna cum with you inside me."
It short-circuits him. For real.
He pushes to stand so fast he almost stumbles. Feet trip a little. Palms slap the counter behind you as he catches himself and mutters, "Yeah—okay—fuck—gimme a second—"
But you reach out. Grab his arm. Stop him cold.
You lick your lips.
Probably look stupid. Glossy-eyed and dazed, like someone just rewired your brain through your pussy.
Whatever. You don't care.
You don't care because you can feel it now.
That ache. The need. The desperate, pulsing want for him to just get inside already. Your whole body's still twitching from his mouth and now it's fucking empty.
No thank you.
So you yank him. Hard.
Fingers curling in the loose fabric of his tee, tugging him back toward you like gravity's rewired itself around your cunt.
He lets himself be pulled. Doesn't even fight it. Just stumbles forward until he's between your legs again and then—then you're crashing his mouth to yours.
No hesitation. No buildup. No thoughts.
Just heat. Tongue. Need.
It's messy. Teeth clash. Vanilla and sweat and slick.
His hands slam to the counter beside your thighs for balance, knuckles brushing your waist as your tongue slides against his and you swallow the groan he lets out.
And yeah. You don't kiss men after they eat you out. Ever.
You've always thought it was gross, honestly. You live in your pussy. You don't need the flavor profile introduced.
But with him? Right now?
You don't even care.
You just want to taste what he tastes like. Want his spit in your mouth. Want to feel him.
So you kiss him like you mean it. Like you're not overthinking it. Like this doesn't break five of your own personal rules.
When you finally pull back, lips slick and breathing uneven, you keep your hands fisted in his shirt.
And say—quiet. Calm. "No need for condoms."
His eyes snap open.
You watch them go wide like you just told him the world's ending tomorrow and there's a free-for-all orgy scheduled at noon.
He coughs. Legit coughs. Like your spit went down the wrong pipe.
"Wait—what?"
You shrug. "I have a copper IUD. Works from minute one. I'm good."
His mouth opens, then closes again. Brain buffering.
"I mean…" he blinks. "I—I just—I didn't think you'd…"
You arch a brow.
He shakes his head a little, eyes dropping to your lips.
"No—like—I'm not complaining, I just—" His mouth staggers like he can't quite get the words out fast enough. "Are you sure?"
"I mean, you've been fucking with condoms, right?"
"Yeah. Always. Jesus. Yeah."
"And you've been getting tested?"
He gives you a look. "You think I'd be rawdogging around Brooklyn without paperwork?"
"Kind of," you mutter, just to mess with him.
"Okay, rude," he says, palm flattening on your thigh like it's involuntary. "I'm not feral. I'm—I'm… a respectful slut."
You almost laugh. Almost.
Then you say, quieter, "I haven't fucked anybody else since I fucked you."
And that? That actually makes him pause.
He blinks again. "Wait. For real?"
"Yeah. Nothing so far."
And he doesn't make it a thing. Doesn't get all soft and stupid about it.
He just takes a beat, stares at you, lips slightly parted like he's replaying it. Like the logistics are finally syncing in.
"Okay," he says. Rough. Breathless. "Yeah. Yeah, that's… okay."
You tap his chest. "Just cum outside, alright? Just in case."
He groans. Low and pained.
"Pix."
"I'm serious."
"You're killing me."
"Don't care."
"I'll pull out," he promises, fingers tightening on your skin. "But I swear to god, if you keep saying shit like that—inside, raw, no condom—I'm gonna lose it before I even get my pants off."
You grin back. "Sounds like a you problem."
And he breathes out, frustrated and horny and fucking wrecked, and mutters—
"You're my fucking problem."
He licks his lips.
Slow. Deliberate. Like he's already tasting you again.
Then he leans in and murmurs against your cheek—
"Okay. Turn around."
You blink. "Huh?"
The corners of his mouth tug up. "Turn. Around."
"Of course you wanna change positions."
"What can I say," he shrugs, cock already visibly straining through his sweatpants. "Artist's curiosity."
Still. You do it.
He helps you down—steadying hands at your waist, guiding you like you're breakable, which, let's be honest, rude. And once your feet hit the floor, you shift, pivoting slowly to face the counter.
Elbows down. Back arched.
You stick your ass out just to be a bitch about it.
He groans. Actually fucking groans. Like it hurts him.
"Jesus Christ," he mutters, hands immediately cupping your ass like it's reflex. "You're such a bitch."
You smirk into the counter. "Complaining?"
"No complaints." He huffs out a laugh. "Hands on the counter."
You glance over your shoulder. Raise a brow.
"Trust me," he says, already dragging one palm up the curve of your back.
You hum. But you do it. Flatten your hands, palms flush with the counter's edge.
Behind you, there's a shuffle.
Then that sound—the sound.
Elastic snapping as he yanks his waistband down.
You hear him shift his stance, toes lifting slightly as he lines himself up behind you. And then—
The press.
Just his tip, nudging against your entrance, and your whole body seizes, lips parting around a silent gasp as your thighs instinctively press together.
"You better not let go of that counter," he mutters low.
You don't answer.
Not out of defiance—just because your brain's gone static.
So he spanks you. Sharp and hot and immediate.
"I said something to you," he growls, palm landing hard enough to echo. "Did you hear?"
"Yeah," you breathe. "Okay."
"That's what I thought."
Then his hand drops from your ass, slides between your thighs, fingers spreading you open as he lines himself up again. Still doesn't push in.
Just rubs.
His cock slides up and down your slit, slow, deliberate strokes. Slick everywhere. Your breath stutters every time he nudges your clit on the way up.
"God, you're so fucking slippery," he mutters, almost in disbelief. "Dripping for it. I haven't even put it in yet."
You close your eyes, grip tightening on the edge of the counter.
"Your pussy's acting like it missed me," he adds, rocking his hips again, cockhead dragging lazily across your folds. "She's not even pretending."
"Maybe she has bad taste," you snap, voice shaky.
He laughs. Loud.
Then does it again—another glide, another tease, tip pausing right at your entrance just long enough for your breath to catch, then slipping away again before you can adjust.
"You're gonna lose it, huh," he murmurs. "All that smart mouth. All that sass. Gonna forget how to speak when I give you what you want?"
You grit your teeth.
He slides his tip back again, holds it there—barely inside. Just pressure.
Still not pushing in.
Still not giving it to you.
You whimper, shoulders tensing.
"Gripping the counter, Phoenix?" he asks sweetly. "Like I told you to?"
Your fingers curl tighter.
He grins.
And stays right fucking there. Not moving.
Just waiting.
Just standing there behind you like a smug little shit, cockhead resting at your entrance, hot and heavy and perfectly fucking poised—and somehow not going any further.
You shift your hips back slightly, trying to bait him.
He clicks his tongue. "Uh-uh."
"Rogue."
"Pix."
You groan. "You're so fucking annoying."
"Don't tempt me. I could stay like this all night," he says, cock dragging up through your folds again just to prove his point. "Just rub it against you until you're crying."
You scoff. "You act like that's a threat."
He leans forward, chest brushing your back, voice right at your ear.
"You'd cry so pretty."
You twist your head just enough to glare at him.
"You're actually insane."
"Says the girl bent over the counter like a porn scene," he grins, straightening back up. "All 'no condoms, fuck me raw, Rogue' like it's nothing."
You roll your eyes. "Oh, sorry. Do you not want it?"
He hums thoughtfully. "Kinda liking the view, not gonna lie."
"Oh my god."
"Seriously. You ever seen your ass from this angle? Top-tier."
"Shut the fuck up," you mutter, squeezing the counter harder. "You gonna give a Google Maps review next?"
"Might," he shrugs. "Five stars. Would fuck again."
You start to reply—some scathing, lethal retort—but you don't even get the first word out.
Because suddenly—he pushes.
All the way in.
One smooth, brutal thrust.
And you moan.
Loud. Unfiltered. Embarrassing.
Your hands slam flat on the counter like your body can't fucking handle it. The stretch, the shock of it.
You feel full. Too full.
He doesn't ease in. Doesn't give you time to adjust. Just buries himself in one go like it's his fucking right.
Then—smack.
His palm lands on your ass again, sharp and fast.
"That's more like it," he pants behind you, hand lingering after the slap. "There's my girl."
He pulls out slow.
Real slow.
Too slow.
Like he wants you to feel every inch leaving you, feel how empty you get without him. Like he's making a point.
Then—slam.
Hard. Deep. Ruthless.
You jolt forward, hands scrambling for grip as the counter rattles under your hips. A broken sound slips out of you—more instinct than choice—and behind you, he laughs.
Actually laughs.
A horny little chuckle, cock still buried deep like he didn't just rearrange your goddamn organs.
If you could twist around and kick him in the ribs, you would.
"What the fuck are you laughing at," you bite out.
He hums, smug as ever. "Sounded cute."
You glare at the spot, then at him.
"I'll show you cute—"
But you don't finish it. Because he pulls out again, and then slams back in with the same brutal force that leaves your legs trembling and your lungs gone.
What the fuck is he so cocky about?
He's the one getting it raw.
You're the one granting the privilege here. He should be grateful. You could revoke his rights real quick.
Even though… you won't.
Because there's something about it. About this.
No condom. Just skin. Just him.
It's different.
You don't know why it's hotter. Why it feels so much more intimate. You didn't think it would be. It's just cock. Just fucking. But now you feel everything—every twitch, every drag, every time he shifts his angle and catches that spot that has you choking on air.
And then he murmurs behind you, voice low—
"Does it hurt?"
You swallow. "No."
"Good," he says. Calm. Like it's logistics. "If it does, just arch your back more. Fixes the angle."
Fucking hell.
There it is, again.
How is he being considerate and a little shit at the same time?
You're not even flustered because of the sex anymore—you're flustered because he's flipping toggles like he doesn't even notice he's doing it.
You don't respond.
You can't. Because he grabs your hips and—
Slams into you again.
Not fast. Not rushed. Just one clean, devastatingly hard thrust that knocks the breath straight out of you. His grip holds you there, cock pressed deep, dragging that edge of pain into something white-hot and filthy.
"God," he mutters, breath catching. "The way you're gripping me—fuck—you like that, Nix?"
You don't answer.
Too proud. Too dazed. Too stubborn.
So he spanks you. Again.
Sharp and immediate.
"Answer me when I talk to you."
You flinch. Then growl, "Keep spanking and being demanding and I'll revoke raw rights so fucking fast—"
But he just snickers.
"Oh, will you?"
You can hear the smirk.
Then he leans over, chest brushing your back, breath hot on your ear.
"You like it when I slap my hand on your ass, Nix," he says, low and satisfied. "That's why I keep doing it."
You scoff. "You're making shit up."
He grinds into you once, slow and cruel.
"Am I?"
"Yup."
"Naaah. I've been testing."
You blink. "Testing."
"Mhm," he confirms. Another slap to your ass, gentler this time. Palming over the skin after. "And now I know."
You suck in a breath. "How would you know what turns me on?"
He huffs a laugh—mean, hot, unbothered.
"Because you always mouth off about the shit that gets you going."
Your heart stutters. He keeps going.
"Too embarrassed to just let yourself enjoy it, so you talk shit. Every single time."
"Fuck off," you hiss.
He smirks again, hands dragging your hips back slightly. "Nah. You're not fooling anyone, Pix."
"Eat shit," you bite out, but your voice betrays you—tight, breathy. Fucked.
He groans, head tilting back for a second like he can't believe how good he has it.
"You're so full of it."
You scowl over your shoulder.
He slaps your ass again. Just to punctuate it.
"This," he says, palm dragging slow over the sting he just left, "is textbook Phoenix behavior."
"Fuck's that supposed to mean?"
"What I just said. You always talk shit about what you like." He thrusts again, not deep—just enough to feel like a warning. "First it was the dirty talk. Remember?"
You roll your eyes. "Barely."
"Oh, you remember." His voice drops. "Because you called it cringey, and five minutes later you were soaking my jeans."
You grit your teeth.
"And then you rode me," he continues, like he's delivering an airtight closing argument. "Said 'do you want me to ride you?' all breathy. Like you hadn't spent days pretending you were above it."
You don't reply.
He leans in, hips pressing closer, cock buried deep and still not moving.
"And yesterday?"
You clench without meaning to.
"Yeah," he laughs softly. "Yesterday. You wouldn't even look at me when you were sucking me off. Acted all bratty and 'ugh I hate eye contact,' and now tonight you were pulling my hair back just to see my face."
You did do that.
"And now it's the spanking," he says, rocking his hips slow. "Bitching about it."
Another smack, firm and deliberate.
"But you just clenched around me. Again."
You groan into your arm. "You're fucking exhausting."
He grins against your shoulder. "You're fucking lying."
You shake your head. "You're not right."
He pulls back a little, just enough to move again. One clean stroke, all the way out and back in with a grunt.
Then—
"You're wet as fuck."
And you are. You feel it. Feel him glide. Feel the mess. Feel how your body wants him deep, no matter what your mouth says.
"You keep acting like you're not into it," he murmurs, breath hot. "Like you don't love being talked to like this. Touched like this."
"Shut up," you whimper, because you don't want to admit it. You don't want him to be right.
But he already is.
"You act like it's for me," he mutters. "Like I'm the one getting off on it."
And he is. Of course he is.
But so are you.
"You keep lying like it's gonna protect you," he says. "But your body gives you away every time."
He's still going.
Deep now.
Fast.
No hesitation, no mercy—just relentless drive, hips snapping into yours, angle brutal and right. Every time he hits bottom it knocks a broken little moan out of you. Loud. Unfiltered. Fucking real.
And still—still—he doesn't shut up.
"You've convinced yourself it's all for me. That you don't enjoy it. Can't. Won't."
Your jaw clenches.
"You can't let yourself," he continues, thrusting hard enough to slap skin. "Because you need to stay in control. Need to be good. Do it right."
His hand grips your hip tighter, pulling you back to meet every thrust. Your ass bounces off him with every slam, lewd and hot and loud.
"You need to know I like it," he says, "so you can file it under 'doing well,' and that's how you let yourself feel good."
You want to argue. You really do.
But you can't.
You're moaning too loud.
"You don't even stop to ask what you like," he growls, eyes locked on where you're joined. "But I'll tell you."
Smack.
"You like this position."
Smack.
"You like it raw. Hard. Deep."
You whimper.
"You like when I spank you," he murmurs, biting his lip, thrusts picking up even more.
"Shut up," you hiss. "Shut up, shut up—"
But it's useless.
You're already flushed down to your chest. Already arching into every thrust. Already leaking down your thighs.
Your hands grip the counter like a fucking lifeline—knuckles white, arms shaking.
He groans, hands adjusting—one on your waist, the other wrapping low across your belly to pull you into every stroke.
"It's okay, Nix," he says, voice rough but coaxing. "You don't have to say it."
He slams in harder, burying himself to the hilt, making your knees buckle on instinct.
"Just keep gripping the counter."
Your breath stutters.
"Don't let go if you like it."
You bite your lip.
"Don't say anything. Don't explain. Just grip."
You hesitate. One second. Maybe two.
And then—you do.
Fingers curl tighter around the countertop edge. You lock in. Anchor yourself.
Give it to him.
You don't say a word. But that grip? That's your answer. That's your yes.
He groans, hand dragging up your spine, palm flat between your shoulder blades like he wants to feel how it wrecked you.
"There she is," he whispers. "There's my good fucking girl."
That last comment—
There's my good fucking girl.
It does something. Snaps something in your spine. Or maybe your brain.
Because your cunt flutters around him hard, slick tightens, thighs tremble, and yeah, yeah you're closer. Closer than you should be. You were already there when he first slid in—already so worked up you could've finished in sixty seconds if he just shut the fuck up and focused.
But of course he didn't.
Of course he ran his mouth. Called you out. Read you like a book.
And now?
Now you're clenching around his cock like you're about to shatter, and he feels it.
You know he does.
Because he leans in, breath gone wrecked. Lip caught between his teeth.
"Hmm?" he pants. Thrusts harder, deeper. "What's that? You like when I call you that?"
Your jaw clenches. You want to scoff. Or deny it.
But your cunt clenches instead.
He feels it.
"Ohh fuck," he groans, like it hits his brainstem. "You do."
You turn your face into your arm, humiliated by your own goddamn response. But it's too late. He's already there—already winding it tighter.
"Let's see if you like it even more when I do this."
You blink. "What are you—"
He grabs your thigh.
Hooks it up onto the counter. Bends your leg at the knee beside your elbow, spreading you wider without warning. Opening you up. Letting him deepen.
And he does.
Slams into you again with the new angle, and fuck—it hits different. Hits deep. Your whole body pitches forward with the force, mouth open on a sharp moan you can't swallow.
Then—his hand.
His fingers find your clit. Circle it once, slow and effective.
And you whimper.
It's high-pitched. Unintended. Undignified.
You want to vanish.
But then he's right behind your ear again, voice slurred and drunk on it.
"Gonna cum for me, angel?"
Your body jolts.
Because yeah. Yeah, you are, especially now that he's got your leg hooked, your pussy stuffed, your clit being worked with just enough pressure to make you lose it.
He feels your thighs twitch.
"Do it," he breathes, cock dragging thick inside you, fingers pressing just right. "Come on, let me feel it. I'm close too. Gimme it, Pix."
And your body obeys.
It rolls over you in one hard pulse—core tightening, vision blanking, thighs squeezing in and failing to stay strong.
Your moan punches out of your chest, loud and cracked, hips grinding back into his like you need more even as you're falling apart.
"Ohhhh my god, fuck yes—fuck, yes, Nix, fuckkkk."
He keeps fucking through it. Doesn't stop. Lets your pussy spasm around him, wet and squeezing and pulling him deeper as you ride it out. You whimper, already too sensitive, hips twitching, but he's not done.
Because he's laughing now.
Not mocking. Not cruel.
Just that fucked-out little giggle he always gets when he's high on it. Like your orgasm lit him up from the inside.
"Jesus—oh my god—holy shit," he's muttering, still fucking you, little messy stutters in his rhythm now. "You feel so fucking good when you cum, I swear—fuck."
He moans again—short and desperate and real—and you feel it in the way his thrusts go uneven.
"Where—where do you want it?" he gasps. "Fuck—I'm gonna—I'm so close, where do I—"
"Ass," you croak, head low, voice barely there.
That's all he needs.
He pulls out instantly, like he's yanking a ripcord.
You whimper at the loss but then you feel his hand—fast and rough—working himself over the curve of your ass.
"Oh fuck—oh god, yeah, look at this gorgeous ass—fuckfuckfuck—"
And then he's cumming.
Thick, hot ropes spilling over your skin as he pants and jerks through it, one hand steadying himself on your back, the other stroking through every twitch of his cock like he's trying to squeeze out every drop just to paint you.
"Shit," he gasps, hips still flexing forward. "Fucking hell, Phoenix."
You don't move.
You just breathe. Still shaking. Still clenched. Still wrecked.
There's cum on your skin, sweat between your shoulder blades, and your thighs feel like they've forgotten how to exist—and somehow, you still feel good.
Too good.
And a little fucked up about how good.
But you'll deal with that later.

You’re halfway through your research when you notice the silence.
It’s not the comfortable, productive kind of quiet that tends to fall over the apartment while you work. This feels different. Ominous, even. Like there’s something you’ve gotten used to that’s suddenly gone missing.
You sit up straighter in your chair, frowning down at your laptop as you blink sweat out of your eyes. The cursor blinks back at you like it knows something you don’t. The air feels off — heavier, a little more stagnant, pressing down on your skin. Something about it makes your stomach twist nervously.
You push back from your desk and open your bedroom door. Your roommate is exactly where you expected him to be: sprawled on the couch, laptop balanced on his thighs as he types relentlessly away at the coding project he’s been “almost done with” for the past two weeks.
“Hey, Osc?”
He pulls out one AirPod, brushing his hair out of his eyes as he turns to look at you. You can hear his music even from your doorway, the house beats bumping through the tiny speaker. “What’s up?”
“Do you…” you pause, stepping fully into the living room. “Does it feel kinda hot in here to you?”
He presses up on his elbows, tilting his head slightly like he’s registering the temperature for the first time. “Yeah, actually. Weird.” He tosses his laptop on the coffee table, exchanges it for the air conditioner remote. When he points it at the unit and presses a button, nothing happens.
Your eyes flick to the AC unit. There’s no air moving above it. No breeze blowing through the leaves of the plants you’ve stacked across the windowsill.
Oscar tries again, pressing the buttons more frantically as you’ve ever seen him (which is to say, slightly harder than he did before). “It’s not working.”
“Shit,” you say, dread rising in your stomach. “You’re kidding.”
He raises an eyebrow at you, deadpan. “Do I look like I’m kidding?”
He doesn’t. He looks mildly concerned at best, cheeks flushed and sweat starting to dampen the hair at his temples, brow furrowing in that calm, clinical way of his. You can tell he’s already cycling through possible fixes in his mind; to him, this situation is just another puzzle to be solved, an amusing diversion to take up his afternoon.
You, on the other hand, are spiraling.
“Oscar,” you say, words dripping off your tongue, “it’s nearly a hundred degrees outside. There’s been an extreme heat warning this entire week. I saw someone on TikTok this morning fry an egg on the sidewalk. And you’re telling me our AC is out?”
He points the clicker at the unit one more time for good measure. Nothing. Your chest tightens, as you glance down at your phone. 98º, the weather preview reads, next to a bright little sunshine icon. 98 degrees, and it’s barely 9 AM.
“Oh god,” you whine, pressing the heel of your hand to your forehead. It comes away damp. “Oh god, we’re gonna get heatstroke and die in this tiny shitty apartment.”
“Whoa. Okay. Don’t panic,” Oscar says softly, eyes wide, like he’s not quite sure what to do with the freaked-out version of you. He walks past you into the kitchen, filling a glass with water and handing it to you. “Drink this. I’m gonna check the breakers, yeah?”
He disappears down the hall to the fuse box, and you collapse onto the couch where he’d been laying. It’s still warm from his body heat, which somehow makes everything worse. You can already feel your hair sticking sweatily to the back of your neck. The water is lukewarm, but it helps a little.
Oscar’s back a few minutes later. “Did it work?” you ask hopefully, but he’s already shaking his head, holding his phone out to you. You can read the giant, size 128 font your super always uses in his emails from across the room: Building-wide HVAC outage. No ETA for repair.
“Okay,” you say slowly as you sit up, trying to channel some of his calmness. “Okay, we can figure this out. Ice packs. Cold showers. We can handle this. It’s gonna be fine.”
He nods uncertainly. There’s sweat starting to bead at his hairline. “I think there’s a fan in the closet that the people who lived here before us left. I’ll grab it.”
When he returns, he’s carrying the fan under one arm, biceps flexed around the frame. It’s an old thing — white plastic going yellow at the edges, wide square cage locked around three dusty blades, power cable frayed from use.
“That thing looks like it’s going to electrocute you,” you say, eyebrows raised.
He grins, plugging the cord into the wall. “C’mon, it adds character. Ready for sweet, sweet circulation?”
You scramble to the floor, sitting cross-legged directly in front of the fan. “Hit me, Piastri,” you say decidedly, and he flips the switch.
The fan wheezes to life, sort of. The blades creak into motion like they’ve woken up from a decade-long nap, and it only takes a moment before the first gust of air hits your waiting face.
Hot air.
“No,” you moan, and Oscar crouches next to you, hand in the corner of the frame like he’s trying to run his fingers through the breeze. “I thought this was gonna help. It feels like sitting in front of a fucking hair dryer.”
“Maybe it just needs a second to warm up?” he tries, but you’re already shaking your head.
“It is warm. That’s the problem.”
He sighs and sits on the floor next to you, knee brushing against yours. The fan keeps pushing the stifling air at your faces, like it’s mocking you. “Verdict: the fan is shit.”
“The fan is worse than shit,” you groan, letting your head loll against his shoulder. You can feel his skin even through his shirt, warm beneath your cheek. “The fan is actively taunting us. The fan is betraying us.”
“Okay, drama queen,” he says fondly, pulling the cord out of the wall. The fan stutters to a stop and silence falls again, the air feeling even swampier than before.
“We’ve got other ways to beat the heat,” he says, like he’s trying to convince himself and you. “It’ll be fine.”
It’s absolutely, completely, one hundred percent not fine.
“This is hell,” you moan, fanning yourself with an old takeout menu. “Actual hell.”
Oscar swipes lazily at the menu, pulling it out of your hand. “Give me that.” He fans it at himself a few times, before letting it drop out of his hand with a groan.
For a while, it had kind of felt like an adventure. The two of you had dragged your stuff into the living room, worked side by side with bags of frozen peas pressed to your heads, cold beers sweating on the coffee table. The day dragged on, temperature climbing higher, and you’d been forced to get creative. On one trip to the kitchen, you’d figured out it was the shadiest place in the entire apartment, and promptly moved to lay out on the floor, tiles cool beneath your skin. The two of you took turns sticking your head in the freezer, too hot to be self-conscious about how stupid you looked. At least you’d gotten an ancient, frostbitten box of Bomb Pops out of it, long forgotten behind your ice tray. You’d spotted it, pulled it out and split the entire box between the two of you, rationing them like wartime supplies.
But now the popsicles are gone, the last of the beers going lukewarm, and you’re both pleasantly tipsy and running out of ways to keep yourself entertained. Judging from the way the sun is slanting golden through the window, you’re guessing it’s late afternoon, but you don’t dare get up and check your phone. That would mean expending energy and leaving the cold tiles behind, two things you are very much not prepared to do.
“This is such an undignified way to die,” you mumble instead, cheek flat against the cool floor. Your bottle is dripping with condensation, pressed into the skin of your neck.
“We’re not going to die,” Oscar says automatically, sliding down the cabinets until he’s on his back next to you. His hair is plastered to his forehead, cheeks flushed.
You roll your head to the side to look at him. “I’m pretty sure this is how we go out. I’m wilting. I can feel my brain literally melting. Dripping out my ears.”
“Nah, I think that’s just sweat,” he grins, eyes sparkling.
“Ew, Osc.” You wrinkle your nose. “Gross. And also not helping.”
He lets out a laugh, lazy and breathless, forearm thrown over his eyes. “At least we’re going out together.”
“Yeah, put that on the tombstone,” you snort. “‘Here lies two idiots who died because they were too cheap to rent in a building with a competent super.’”
“We’re not cheap,” he protests weakly. “We’re… financially responsible.”
“Yeah, ‘cause it’s so financially responsible to just die of heatstroke.”
Oscar sighs, taking a long swig and then setting his beer down. The glass clinks against the tiles. “Okay. Well, we’re definitely not gonna survive if we keep wearing this much.”
You blink, propping yourself up on your elbows. “What?”
But he’s already shimmying his shorts down his legs, kicking them across the floor to the corner of the kitchen. “It’s basic heat management. Less layers means our skin’ll cool off faster.” He pulls his shirt over his head next, one clean, graceful movement.
And — okay. Okay. You weren’t prepared for Oscar to be shirtless.
You’ve lived together for almost two years. You’ve seen him before, on laundry day in a ratty muscle tank, on the way into the gym, even one particularly embarrassing moment when you walked into the bathroom before he’d gotten dressed, towel slung dangerously low on his hips. But you’d filed the moments away in your head as normal roommate occurrences, nothing to think twice about.
Clearly, you hadn’t been paying enough attention. Because now you don’t know what to do when he’s sitting on the kitchen floor in a pair of grey Calvins, skin flushed golden and peppered with moles, covered in a sheen of sweat. There’s a drop trailing down his chest, catching in the grooves of what look like very defined abs.
You know you’re staring. It’s shameless. You feel a little bit insane, actually. Oscar is… hot?
“You okay?” your roommate says, a little too casually.
“I —” you stammer, forcing your eyes up to his face. “What the hell, Osc. You have muscles.”
“Humans tend to have those,” he replies dryly.
“No, but like, I thought you had programmer muscles. Slouch over a computer all day and code muscles,” you try to explain. “But you look like you could be in like, a sexy sunscreen ad or something. When did you get so jacked?”
He laughs, a little breathless, rubbing the back of his neck. His ears look a little pinker than they were before. You’re not sure if it’s the heat or something else entirely. “I’ve always been like this. You just never noticed.”
You shake your head. “No way. I would have noticed that.”
“Apparently not,” he says, voice a little rough in a way that makes your stomach twist. “Your turn.”
“My turn for what?”
He gestures at your sweat-soaked tank top. “Heat management, remember?”
“Right, yeah. Makes sense. Equal opportunity stripping,” you breathe, trying very hard to sound casual even though your pulse is racing under your skin. You take a breath, averting your eyes to the floor, and tug your tank top over your head.
The air hits your skin first, surprisingly cool. And then, unmistakably, Oscar’s eyes next, trailing down your body, heavy and lingering.
“You’re staring,” you note, and his gaze snaps back to your face.
He swallows hard, rakes a hand through his hair. “Yeah, sorry, I —” His eyes flick back to your chest, like he can’t help himself, then quickly back up to your face. “Jesus.”
You raise an eyebrow, tiny smile on your face. “Humans tend to have those,” you echo him, gesturing vaguely at your bralette, and Oscar makes a strangled noise like he’s choked on his own tongue.
He rolls toward you on the floor slightly, one arm falling lazily over his waist as he looks up at you with those big brown eyes. “You can’t just do that.”
“Hey. You were the one who told me to take my shirt off,” you say, suddenly defensive.
He sighs, scrubbing a hand over his face. “Well, I didn’t think you’d do it and look like that.”
“Like what?”
“Hot,” he says lowly, and now it’s your turn to sputter around your own breath.
“I mean — it is the middle of a heatwave,” you say, voice barely above a whisper.
His eyes find yours. Hold them with an intensity that makes you shiver even in the heat. “You know that’s not the type of hot I meant.”
The air doesn’t feel stagnant anymore. It feels alive between you, some kind of simmering tension that’s using the heat as an excuse to finally, finally boil over.
“Don’t look at me like that,” you say, voice pitching high and unsteady.
His brows knit together. “What do you mean?”
“You’re looking at me like you want to kiss me or something,” you say, breathless.
A beat. Oscar’s lip catches in between his teeth as he looks at you, and you can feel your traitorous eyes drop to his mouth. His grin spreads slowly across his face, like he’s won something he didn’t know was up for grabs.
“I do want to kiss you,” he says. And then he leans in, slow, like he’s giving you the chance to stop all of it in its tracks, until there’s no space left between you.
When his mouth finally finds yours, it’s careful. He tastes like cherry popsicle, lips sticky with the leftover sugar and a salty twinge of sweat. One hand cups your cheek, the other resting tentatively on your waist, thumb skimming at the hem of your bralette like he’s still trying to figure out how far he’s allowed to go.
You don’t want him to be careful anymore.
You swing a leg over his lap, straddling him, knees knocking against the tile. His breath hitches as you settle against him, muscles tense beneath you. “You’re allowed to touch me, you know,” you murmur against his mouth.
He pulls back, chest rising and falling unevenly as he looks up at you. “Just — trying to be respectful,” he says roughly, fingers digging into the skin at your waist.
You smirk, rolling your hips against the obvious bulge in his briefs, hard and thick and throbbing. The groan he lets out is nothing short of filthy. “Osc, I’m literally half-naked on top of you. I think we’re way past the point of respectful.”
It’s like the permission flips a switch inside him. His mouth attaches to your neck, sucking little bruises into the soft skin, and suddenly, his hands are all over you. One sliding down your back, splaying over your hip and rocking you against him, cock rutting against your wet heat through your shorts. The other palming at your chest through your bra, the thin fabric doing nothing to hide the way your nipples pearl under his touch.
“So fucking hot,” he breathes into your skin, pausing between words to suck another mark at the swell of your breast. “Driving me insane, you know that? All fucking day with those shorts and that little tank top.”
You don’t respond. Just reach behind you, fingers nimbly unhooking your bralette, clasp damp against your back. The fabric falls away easily, straps slipping down your arms until you’re bare on top of him.
For a second, you think Oscar might have stopped breathing, hands frozen on your hips, eyes fixed on your tits.
“Oscar?” you say, breathless, rutting your hips against his in a shameless attempt to bring him back down from whatever planet he’s on. He blinks hard, shakes his head slightly like his brain is an Etch-a-Sketch he’s trying to reset. His pupils are blown, eyes wide as he stares up at you.
“Sorry, yeah, I —” he mumbles, and then his head is ducking down, mouth closing around your nipple, warm and wet. His tongue flicks sharp over the nub of it, his other hand coming up to palm at your other breast, rolling the nipple between his fingers.
It feels like he’s everywhere, all hands and lips and tongue, and you gasp, arch your back like you’re trying to get more of your tits into his mouth. He groans around you, teeth grazing against the sensitive area gently. The vibrations go straight to your core. “Osc — fuck — ”
“Good?” he mutters against you, and you nod frantically. His free hand wraps under you, fingers splaying against the curve of your ass, and he picks you up and presses you into the kitchen tile without taking his mouth off you. The move is so absurdly, unfairly hot that the only thought in your mind is why you didn’t let him do it sooner.
He pulls back, and you’re about to whine at the loss of contact until you feel his mouth against you again, pressing messy open-mouthed kisses in a trail down your stomach, tongue dragging against your skin like he needs to taste you. Your fingers weave easily into his hair, tugging loosely at the roots, and he whines.
“Can I —” he breathes when he gets to the waistband of your shorts, looking up at you through his lashes, and you’re lifting your hips in reply before he can even really get the question out of his mouth.
“Please,” you gasp, like he needs any extra confirmation. Like he’s not already hooking his fingers into the elastic and tugging your shorts and panties down your legs.
“Fuck,” he rasps once you’re laid bare in front of him, hand sliding slick up your thigh to your center. “You’re unreal.”
He kisses the inside of your thigh gently, then again. Higher and higher he goes, mouth dragging just shy of where you need him most. “Taste so fucking good already f’me,” he mumbles to himself, almost reverent. “Can’t believe I get to do this.”
Your hips kick involuntarily at the vibration from his words, his breath teasing at your cunt. “Then do it, Osc,” you whimper, fingers tightening in his hair. “Please.”
Apparently your begging does the trick. He plants one hand on your thigh, uses it to pull you towards him, spreading your thighs wide enough to keep them apart with his shoulders, and then presses the flat of his tongue to you, licking a long, hot stripe up your center.
He eats you out like he’s been dying to do it, like he’s trying to figure out exactly what makes you tick, what will make you fall apart the fastest under him. It’s a little sloppy, hot and wet and reckless, but it works — tongue circling around your clit in a way that makes you moan high and breathless. The sound only seems to spur him on, fingers slipping into you a second after that.
Your back arches off the tile at the feeling of his fingers, fucking you open slowly. Not that it’s doing a thing to cool you down anymore. With his mouth and his hands on you, you feel like you’re burning up from the inside out.
When he sucks your clit into his mouth, crooking his fingers inside you, the sensation is nearly too much to bear. “Osc, don’t stop — I’m gonna —” you pant brokenly, hips rocking against his face, his hand.
“Let go. Come on, baby, let me taste it,” he murmurs directly into your core, and your orgasm rips through you, thighs shaking around Oscar’s shoulders. He works you through it, tongue lapping at you like he wants to devour you as you writhe beneath him.
When you finally come back down to earth, you tug him back up your body until you’re face to face. “You good?” he asks breathlessly, looking down at you. He’s so pretty like this — wild-eyed, flushed and panting, hair mussed, mouth shining.
“Yeah. Yes,” you nod, dazed. “So fucking good.” He grins down at you, obviously pleased, if the way his hips twitch into yours is anything to go by.
You reach up for him instinctively, suddenly desperate to taste yourself on his tongue. The resulting kiss is hot and sticky and perfect, even better when you let your hand slip between the two of you to palm at his cock through his briefs. He hisses, jerks his hips forward as you work your fingers beneath the waistband, pulling them down just enough for his length to spring free, hard against his stomach.
He breaks the kiss just enough to shove the briefs down, past his ankles, kicking them to the rapidly growing pile of clothes in the corner of the kitchen. When your hand wraps around him, thumbing across the tip and spreading the wetness gathering there down his length with one experimental pump, he gasps, hips canting against your hand.
“Fuck, you can’t — I’m not gonna last if you do that,” he admits, eyes closed and breathing uneven.
Maybe it’s the heat that makes you bold, or maybe it’s his honesty, saying straight out how badly you affect him. But something makes you grin up at him and say it: “Maybe you should hurry up and get inside me, then.”
His eyes snap open, and he makes a wrecked little noise at that, something between a whimper and a growl. “Fuck. Okay. Condom. In my room, I think —”
You laugh, breathless, hooking one leg around his waist and pulling him down to press his forehead against yours. “I’m on the pill. And I trust you, Osc.”
His eyes flutter shut like that might legitimately be his undoing, cockhead pushing at your slick folds, barely holding himself back. “Jesus fucking Christ. Okay.”
He lines himself up, sinks into you so slowly that it’s torture. The feeling is overwhelming, the stretch, the heat of it. He’s thick, perfect, pressed so deep into you when he finally bottoms out that it nearly steals the breath from your lungs.
“Shit,” Oscar chokes out, helpless. “You feel — fuck, you feel insane.”
You dig your heels into his back, nails dragging over his shoulders. “Probably feel better if you move,” you breathe, and his eyes go dark, pulling out just to slam back into you with a long moan.
He finds a rhythm fast. Messy, desperate thrusts that echo filthily against the tile every time his hips snap into yours, skin sliding against skin. He’s bracing one hand beside your head, the other gripping under your thigh to keep you spread open, flushed and panting beneath him.
“You’re so —” he starts, voice breaking into a moan as you rock your hips to meet him with each thrust, your cunt gripping him warm and tight and ready. “Fuck. Wanted this so bad.”
“You thought about this?” you manage between gasps, and he nods.
“All the fucking time. Jesus, you feel so good,” he groans, voice rough and hot against your ear. “So fucking tight, baby — m’not gonna last.”
You’re a mess beneath him already, gasping and clawing at his back as he fucks into you. “Don’t have to,” you whine as he hikes your leg up his waist, opening you up even more for him. The angle has your vision blurring, seeing stars every time his length scrapes that one spot inside you. “Want you to come, Osc, please, need to feel you.” You clench around him on instinct, and he shudders, hips stuttering.
“Fuckfuckfuck, don’t do that, I’m so close,” he grits out, hand sliding between your bodies to your clit, rubbing tight little circles against you. “Need to make you come first.”
You let out a moan, almost incoherent. You can already feel it building, coiling low and tight in your stomach, sparked by the heat and his voice and the frantic way he’s moving inside you. “Osc, I’m gonna —”
“Yeah?” he breathes, eyes fluttering shut as you pulse around him, so close to falling over the edge. “Do it then. Want to feel it on my cock.”
You come with a yelp, back arching and cunt fluttering around him. A moment later, Oscar’s rhythm falters inside you, and then he’s gasping your name, spilling into you with a groan that vibrates against your skin.
He stays like that for a moment, shivering in the aftermath, pressed fully against you, skin slick and sticky, chest rising and falling in uneven bursts.
“...So,” he breathes, a ghost of a smile on his lips. “That definitely didn’t help us cool down.”
You laugh, breathless. Fucked out. “Not even a little bit.”
“Cold shower together next?” he grins, dazed, cheeks flushed as he waggles an eyebrow at you. You smack him on the arm lazily in response, no real heat behind it.
But you don’t say no. And when he scoops you up off the floor into his arms and carries you to the bathroom, you get a distinct, giddy sort of feeling that no matter how long the heat wave lasts, whatever is happening between the two of you isn’t cooling off anytime soon.

Previous Chapter - Next Chapter
Word Count: 2.5k "𝖫𝗂𝗏𝖾 𝗂𝗇 𝖽𝖺𝗋𝗄𝗇𝖾𝗌𝗌, 𝖻𝗋𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗆𝖾 𝖻𝗋𝗂𝗀𝗁𝗍𝗇𝖾𝗌𝗌" ━━ Ever since you were a kid, all you wanted was to be cared for.

“‘Cause I see your real face, it’s as ugly as sin. Gonna put you in your place cause you’re rotten within.” You sang, practicing the choreography easily. “When your patterns start to show it makes the hatred wanna grow out of my veins…”
Your voice trailed off and you sighed, collapsing on your bed with a huff. You rolled up your sleeve to reveal the spreading marks, glowing and pulsing each time you grazed your other hand on them. For almost your whole life, they’ve never spread this fast before.
Jinu said that his shame was what caused them to spread… What shame did you have then? The shame of these markings? But if so, then Rumi’s would’ve spread much faster than before right? You huffed. You couldn’t believe you were about to do something this stupid but… Maybe you should visit a mudang?
You groaned. Why were you now turning to spiritual stuff? You laid on your back, thinking for a moment before deciding you’d go to sleep early instead. You probably needed a good night’s rest anyways… Just as you walked over to your lamp to turn it off, a knock on your window interrupted.
You turned to see the large blue cat from before and the bird perched on top of its head. You frowned, but opened the door and entered your balcony. “Hello?” You greeted. The tiger stared at you before pushing into your hand as if telling you to pet him like before. “Where’s your owner?”
The tiger purred before biting your arm. It wasn’t a harsh bite, more delicate than anything as it seemed as though it was trying to guide you somewhere. “Ooookay…” You cringed at the horrible sensation of it’s drool coating your sweatshirt but didn’t pull away.
You followed the tiger into a portal before ending up on the street instead. You shivered at the cold wave of existential dread that came when you entered, but brushed it off and pulled your hood over your head instead. You couldn’t exactly be seen being hauled away by a blue tiger in public right?
“Isn’t it odd how we keep meeting like this?”
You turned to see Jinu with his hands in his pockets. You smiled slightly, the tiger now letting go of your arm. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you sent your cat to come get me.”
Jinu shrugged, feigning an innocent expression. You walked forward, now enshrouded in the darkness of the alleyway. “I actually have something to ask you, surprisingly.” Your gaze was fixated on the ground, not daring to look up at Jinu.
“My markings…” You rolled your sleeve up to reveal the spread of them going across your arms. “Why are they growing? You said that yours grew from shame but… I haven’t felt any shame.”
Jinu stared at them, his finger twitching slightly to reach out, before he curled his hand into a fist instead. “It is… Hard to identify shame.” He finalized.
You looked up at him, blinking, before letting out a chuckle. “That’s hardly an explanation. Nor does it give me any comfort.”
“Ah, I’m… Sorry.”
“It’s fine.” You shook your head, “After we seal the Honmoon…” Your voice trailed off, eyes glancing at Jinu before clearing your throat. “Rumi’s and my markings will be… Fixed.”
“How did you get your markings?” Jinu asked.
“Ah… I, uh, don’t know actually. It’s just something I’ve been born with like Rumi.” You looked at them, furrowing your brows at the noticeably drastic changes, “We’re not related though so…”
“And you don’t hear Gwi-Ma in your head either?” Jinu asked. You shook your head, your eyes focusing on the cat now rubbing on your legs.
“No…” You muttered.
“Then you’re lucky too.” Jinu said. He stayed quiet for a while, tilting his head up to look at the purple colored sky.
Did negative thoughts count as Gwi-Ma speaking in your head? No, you didn’t think so. Everyone had negative thoughts sometimes, even demons have them replaced by Gwi-Ma’s manipulation. If so… Were they really that different from humans?
“Maybe… You can be lucky too.” You thought out loud. Jinu turned to you with a confused look on his face. “When the Honmoon is sealed, all demons will be banished to be with Gwi-Ma for all eternity. You can be on our side. You’ll be rid of the markings.”
Jinu paused, opening his mouth to speak before you added. “It doesn’t mean you’ll live without your memories of misery. At least, I think so.” You mused before finally looking at Jinu with a smile, “Jinu, if you help us win the Idol awards, you can stop hearing Gwi-Ma’s voice inside your head…”
“What makes you think the Honmoon can save a guy like me?” Jinu asked, eyes carefully tracing the street in consideration.
“You tried to help your family. We all…” Your voice trailed off, masking the wince of a sudden headache with clearing your throat. “We all make mistakes.”
Jinu scoffed, “It’s not that simple.”
“It’s never that simple.” You challenged, “If the Honmoon can… Help me and Rumi with our mistakes, it surely can with yours.”
There’s a softening. A stillness in his eyes as he looks at you. As if his entire world has just settled into place. His pupils dilated just slightly, eyes warm with a kind of quiet awe, and for a moment, time seems to hush around the two of you. It’s not dramatic, not always flashy. It’s subtle. Sacred.
Familiar, even to you. You feel as if you’d done this before, that you’d felt this way before. You cleared your throat, “You always stare at someone like that?” You asked.
Jinu blinked out of his trance, turning away to the blue tiger sitting in front of him with a tilted head and crossed eyes. “It’s just… You remind me a lot like someone I knew.” Jinu said. You didn’t ask anything else because it seemed like he didn’t want to elaborate any further, but it warmed your heart either way.
His words carried the weight of a thousand unspoken memories and the quiet certainty of realization and recognition. It’s the look that said… You mattered. Not because of what you’ve done or said, but simply because you’re… You.
“I’ll take that as a compliment,” You smiled, now turning away, “I’ve gotta change out of this wet sweatshirt before I start getting overstimulated so… Just think about my offer?” You turned your face to the side, looking at Jinu in the corner of your eye, “Give me a message if you accept it, Jinu.”
- - -
You explained the plan to Rumi, to which she agreed with. Jinu would help you win the Idol Awards, and you would seal the Honmoon when it was over. “Should we tell the others?” you asked, walking backstage to get ready for the rehearsal.
“... No.” Rumi decided, “They… They won’t understand.”
“Are those Celine’s words or yours?” you teased, trying to lighten the moment—but she didn’t smile. Not even a flicker. Your grin faltered. You stepped closer, placing a hand on her shoulder with quiet concern. “Rumi…”
“These lyrics are so… Wrong.” She said, her arms crossing tightly over her chest like she was bracing for something colder than judgment.
“Yeah…” you muttered, wincing as a dull throb pulsed through your skull. “Pretty hypocritical of us, I get it.”
“It’s fine. I think we can get through this.” Rumi nodded, but her voice didn’t carry much weight. You hesitated, studying her a moment longer before nodding back and stepping onstage beside her.
The music started, echoing faintly across the space as the four of you moved into formation. “Time to put you in your place ‘cause you’re rotten within.” You sang, turning with the practiced motion.
“When your patterns start to show it makes the hatred wanna grow out of my…” Rumi’s voice trailed off. She stopped moving entirely, her face blank and filled with hesitation.
“What’s going on? Why are we stopping?” Mira asked, her tone sharp with confusion.
“It’s just… These lyrics are throwing me off.” Rumi muttered, “I don’t think they’re right just yet.”
“Seriously? Now?” Mira frowned, eyebrows pulling in.
“No, it’s fine.” Zoey laughed weakly, already flipping through her lyric journal. “It’s the second verse, right? Uh, how about… ‘When the patterns start to show, the whole world will finally know that you’re depraved’?”
You shook your head at the same time Rumi did. The movement was subtle, but Mira noticed. Her frown deepened as her gaze shifted toward you, questioning. You couldn’t meet her eyes. You looked down at the scuffed black floor instead.
“Um, ‘My sword will happily show you to your grave?’” Zoey offered again. Rumi shook her head, “‘You will be pummeled till no remains—’”
“No, Zoey, it’s just—It’s the whole song.” Rumi sighed, weariness etched into her voice.
“Oh… Okay, great!” Zoey said, trying to laugh it off, but her voice went quiet as her eyes fell to the notebook in her hands. “Well, then, I might as well tear these all up!”
“Rumi, we don’t have time to change the lyrics even if we wanted to.” Mira said, stepping closer now. “The Idol Awards are tomorrow.”
“Well, I… I don’t think I can sing this song.” Rumi argued, her voice small but firm.
“It’s… So hateful.” You added.
The tension between the four of you was like static before Bobby stepped in, his timing almost too perfect. “Hey, girls, just wanted to bring some last-minute pick-me-ups…” He smiled, though it was clearly strained, placing the bag down. “I know things have been really stressful lately and you’ve been working so hard on the Idol routine.”
Then, a sharp pink pulse hit you, like static in your bones. The headache returned in full force, blooming behind your eyes like fire. You winced, though hit it well. You turned and ran. There wasn’t time for more arguing, you had civilians to save.
- - -
“Seriously, what is your problem?” Mira asked as she sliced through a demon's body.
Mira’s words ring in your ears like an accusation you can’t deflect. You know you’re hiding something but it isn’t out of malice. It’s out of fear. Out of uncertainty. Out of not knowing if you’re right or wrong. The Honmoon. The song. The dreams. The missing people. The silence where there should be cheering fans.
“I told you, the song, it’s-”
“I’m not talking about the song, I’m talking about you and Y/N!” Mira said. You turned your head, looking at her before pulling a demon closer to you and stabbing it with your dagger. “Why are you both questioning everything that we stand for when we’re so close to sealing the Honmoon? What are you two not telling us?!”
“I-I-”
“What are you hiding from us?” Mira asked, her hand on Rumi’s shoulder just as the purple haired girl was about to pull away.
“Not everything is about your insecurities, Mira!” Rumi yelled. You widened your eyes, looking between the two of them with a pained expression.
You stood between them, looking at both their expressions. Zoey stood next to Mira with widened eyes. The whole tunnel that shrouded you with darkness suddenly blew past you, the skyline of the city and mountains coming into view.
“Mira, I-I didn’t mean…”
“Would you two stop fighting each other and look?!” Zoey yelled, pointing to the huge hole coming from the upper bridge.
“Why is it so big…?” You muttered. Multiple hungry demons piled on top of each other, ready to ravage any human souls on the train.
“If you’re with us, prove it.” Mira challenged, looking at you and Rumi before focusing her attention back on the demons.
You got into position before lunging with the four of them at the herd of demons. Your whip cracked like gunfire, splitting the air above the demon's heads. One lunged forward, to which you moved your shoulder forward, elbow locked and fingers snapping the whip at the end. The tip wrapped around its wrist, pulling it forward before plunging your dagger into its chest.
“It’s a take down, Imma take you out and it ain’t gonna stop!”
The second demon charged, causing you to spin left and let the tail of your whip loop low around its leg. You pulled hard, dropping its balance before throwing the dagger into its chest and disintegrating it.
You leaned in, whip in a cross-body strike. The tip lashed across another demon's face, causing it to screech before bursting into a pink dust.
“Jung shin eul noh koh null jib balb goh! Kal eul seh gyuh nuah! You’ll be begging and crying, all of you dying. Never miss my shot!”
When another lunged again, you dropped the whip and caught behind the ankle. In a wrapping move, the tail tangled briefly. You yanked hard, turning your hips and unbalancing it successfully. You threw your dagger again.
“I don’t think you’re ready for the takedown! A demon with no feelings don’t deserve to live… It’s so obvious…”
You widened your eyes, watching as another demon came swinging with a club at Rumi, who had suddenly paused their demon massacre. “RUMI!” You shouted, latching your whip onto her waist and pulling her forward. The momentum caused you to fly forward, sending a kick to the larger demon's head.
The lurking demons overran the plane. You knelt down, helping Rumi up as Mira finished off the last of the demons with a shockwave of blue energy.
Mira turned to look at you and Rumi, disappointment evident in her eyes, but just as she was about to say something, you spoke up first. “The passengers!” You realized.
You entered the train, searching through the seats to find at least one person, only to be disappointed at the sight of the missing people. What were you going to do now?
The train stopped at its nearest station, the four of you walking out with saddened looks on your faces. “Whatever you think about the song, it doesn’t matter right now.” Mira spoke up, her voice breaking slightly. “Everything is at stake and we just need to get through this together.” She walked away, not daring to meet yours or Rumi's gaze.
“You know I’m always on your side but… It’s really hard to understand this time.” Zoey muttered, turning to look at the two of you, “We can’t win this without your voices…” She finalized before walking away with Mira.
You and Rumi exchanged glances. Something’s wrong. And not just with the mission. With you. With Rumi. With the entire foundation everything’s been built on.
You look at her, your partner in this, and the weight in her eyes mirrors your own. The kind of weight you carry when truth is clawing at the inside of your chest but you’re afraid to open your mouth and let it out. Because if you speak it aloud, it might undo everything you’ve fought for…
Zoey says they need your voice. Mira says you’re keeping secrets. She’s not wrong. But they don’t see what you see. They don’t hear what you hear in that song. They don’t feel how wrong it’s beginning to sound.

HIT ME HARD AND SOFT WRITING MARATHON . . . fic #6
there's something about matt that just drives you wild. maybe it's the way he looks at you with those piercing blue eyes or the way his hair falls perfectly into place. whatever it is, you can't get enough of him. but the problem is, all he wants from you is to fuck, and nothing more. a real relationship is where he draws the line. you've been friends with benefits for a while now, but lately, you've been wanting something more. you want to be able to call him yours, to have him hold you close and tell you that he loves you. but every time you bring it up, he shuts you down.
"matt, we need to talk," you say, tangled in the sheets. "about what?" he asks, pulling on his shirt and avoiding your gaze. "about us. about what we're doing here."
"we're having fun, aren't we? i mean, the sex is amazing. what more do you want?" you take a deep breath, trying to gather your thoughts. "i want more than just sex, matt. i want a relationship. i want to be with you." he sighs, running a hand through his hair. "i can't give you that. i'm not the relationship type."
"why not? why can't you just give us a chance?" you plead, matt snaps back. "because i don't want to hurt you. i care about you, i do. but i'm not capable of being what you need." you feel tears prick at the corners of your eyes. "how do you know what i need? you've never even tried."
"look, let's just drop it, okay? we're good together, let's not ruin it by trying to make it into something it's not." you shake your head, wiping away a stray tear. "i can't keep doing this, matt.." he looks at you then, really looks at you, and for a moment you think he might actually be considering it. but then he leans in close, his breath hot on your neck, and whispers, "let me make it up to you."
and just like that, you're putty in his hands. he knows exactly how to touch you, how to make you moan and writhe beneath him. he trails kisses down your neck, his hands roaming over your curves, and you know you should stop him, should tell him no, but you can't. you need him, need this. you can’t resist going back to him. you love the way he makes you feel and you will never escape that.
he pushes you back onto the bed, his body covering yours, and you wrap your legs around his waist, pulling him closer. he thrusts into you, filling you completely, and you cry out, your nails digging into his back. “you feel so good," he groans, his hips slamming against yours. "so tight and wet for me."
"matt, please," you whimper, not even sure what you're asking for. "i've got you, baby. i'll take care of you." and he does. he fucks you hard and deep, hitting all the right spots, until you're a writhing, moaning mess beneath him. and when you finally cum, screaming his name, he follows right behind you, spilling himself inside you.
but you’re not done yet. matt leans in, his hot breath tickling your ear, and whispers, "you want this, don't you?" you can only nod, your heart pounding in your chest. his fingers brush against your panties, already damp with your arousal. he chuckles softly, a sound that sends a jolt of pleasure straight to your core.
his fingers deftly push your panties aside, revealing your slick folds. he runs a finger along your slit, gathering your wetness on his fingertip. he brings it to his lips, tasting you. "mmm," he hums, "you taste so sweet, can’t get enough of this pretty pussy..” then, without warning, he plunges a finger inside you. you gasp, your back arching off the sheets. he pumps his finger in and out of you, adding another when he feels you're ready. his thumb presses against your clit, rubbing circles around it.
your hips buck wildly, meeting his thrusts. you can feel your orgasm building, coiling tighter and tighter. "that's it," matt encourages, "cum for me again.” and you do. your orgasm crashes over you like a tidal wave, your walls clamping down on matt's fingers. he continues to pump them in and out of you, prolonging your pleasure until you're left a quivering mess on the couch. he withdraws his fingers, bringing them to his lips once again. he sucks them clean, his eyes never leaving yours.
afterwards, he holds you close, stroking your hair and whispering sweet nothings in your ear. and even though you know it's not real, that he's not really yours, you can't help but bask in the afterglow. you know you shouldn't keep doing this, shouldn't keep falling back into bed with him, all he wanted was to see you naked. but the truth is, you're addicted to him, to the way he makes you feel. and as much as you want more, you're not sure you're ready to give this up just yet.

MAKE ME YOURS ─ P. SH 1.0k SMUT (MDNI)
sunghoon x inexperienced fem!reader, implied first time, fingering, protected sex (why is this a first for me), lots of dirty talk, praise, corruption kink
this was requested and tbh it took me longer than it should have but it’s here !! written and edited by me so i apologize for any mistakes. comments and reblogs are appreciated ><
your boyfriend sunghoon is the sweetest and most caring person alive, and in most aspects that’s not something you’d complain about. you just wish he wouldn’t treat you like you’re actually made of glass when it comes to being intimate. you’d told him early on that you weren’t very experienced and it’s something he’s always been respectful about, always reassuring that he’d be willing to wait until you were ready.
the thing is, you just don’t really know how to bring it up. you may be inexperienced, but you’re not oblivious. you’ve been around on the internet long enough to know exactly where to find the stuff you’re into, the problem is you truly don’t know how to ask sunghoon about it. every time you try to advance further, he pulls away with some comment about how he doesn’t wanna pressure you, and then goes back to simply cuddling or kissing you.
you’re starting to feel a little bit desperate so you come up with an idea. he’s still in the bathroom, the shower still running so you have the perfect opportunity to put your plan into action.
you get comfortable on the bed first, strategically positioning yourself on the sheets. your thoughts naturally drift to sunghoon as you trail your fingers down, pulling your panties to the side and sliding one finger inside your cunt.
sunghoon is gonna lose his fucking mind. there you are, his angelic and innocent girlfriend moaning out his name as you pleasure yourself, your eyes squeezed shut, breathing heavy.
“oh angel,” he coos. “do you need some help with that?”
your eyes fly open, and fuck you look so desperate as you make eye contact. “hoonie please, need you…”
he makes his way over to the bed, planting one knee down on the mattress and hovering over you. “don’t worry doll, hoonie’s gonna make you feel so good.” he lets his hand rest on your thigh, slowly inching up higher and you instinctively pull away your own hand, giving him a full view of your dripping pussy.
“what do you want me to do angel? use your words for me.” he half expects you to hide your face in embarrassment, but you’re already so far gone that your response is immediate. “please hoonie, need— need your fingers inside.” you spread your legs further as you grab his wrist, guiding his hand to where you need him.
your gasp when he finally pushes two fingers in halfway is downright sinful and sunghoon has to bite back a growl. he’s going to make you his. "clenching my fingers so tight angel. gonna have to stretch you out a little before you can fit my cock."
your face twists in discomfort as he adds a third finger and he attaches his lips to your neck, sucking on your sensitive spots to distract from the pain. in a twisted way it makes him feel satisfied knowing he'll be the first to fuck you, that he'll be the first to mould your insides to fit his cock. soon you're letting out pretty moans again and he presses his palm against your clit, stimulating it to make you come. the broken whine of his name when you reach your orgasm is something that will stay in his mind forever, your eyes squeezed shut, mouth drawn open in a perfect o.
god. if he doesn't fuck you soon he's gonna explode.
sunghoon prides himself on still having the presence of mind to open the bedside table drawer and reach for a condom, before pushing his underwear down.
"ready, doll?"
"yes, yes 'm ready sunghoon, wanted this for so long." your voice still sounds so desperate despite the fact that you came once already and he can only give you what you want. he pushes his cock in slowly, checking on you for any discomforts, but you're only staring at where he's entering you, eyes wide and so full of lust that he continues bottoming out.
"fuck. you're still so fucking tight angel." he has to take a few deep breaths to avoid coming embarrassingly quickly himself.
"please move, i can take it, promise." you're looking up at him now, hands clenching around the bedsheets, your hair all messy, so ruined for him already and he hasn't even fucked you properly yet. his first few thrusts are slow and careful, feeling your walls grip him tightly and he wishes he wasn't wearing a condom so he could feel everything. next time.
"look at you," he groans. "taking me so well, fuck. like you were made for me."
you mewl in response, arching your back off the bed and clenching impossibly tighter around his cock. you reach up with your right hand, wrapping it around his wrist and he understands what you’re trying to do as he shifts his weight before interlocking his hand with yours.
“sunghoon, please.” you sound so pretty begging, and he’ll have to do something about that later too, make you beg for him some more. for now though, he needs you to come on his cock.
“sunghoonie,” you whine again.
“doing so good for me doll. fucked you so dumb already the only thing you can remember is my name, huh?” he leans down to capture your lips in a filthy and sloppy kiss, before pulling away and softly biting your lip.
“‘m gonna– sunghoonie, i’m gonna come,” you cry out.
he speeds up his thrusts, not far away from orgasming himself.
“go ahead angel, just let go for me. so perfect, and all mine.”
your eyes roll back as you reach your second high, your hand tight in his, and god he’s really gonna have to fuck you raw next time because you’re squeezing him so well, and he can’t help but imagine what it would be like if he could feel the drag of his cock against your walls. you moan out his name loudly and it’s enough to send him over the edge too, filling up the condom with his own come as he gives a few more sloppy thrusts.
once you’re all cleaned up he hugs you close in bed, ready to fall asleep, but your sweet voice cuts through his haze as you ask cheekily “will you teach me how to suck you off next time?”

Atta Girl
Lovesick Puppydog Sevika x Reader

┈─★
Growing up in Zaun with not much money to spare usually means you either learn how to fix things yourself, or go into debt having someone else do it. So, when Sevika got her first car as a teenager, a busted up Subaru Outback, she'd quickly learned to fix things up herself. She mostly viewed having to fix up her car as a slight nuisance, annoying but necessary-
Until she met you, and came to understand the fun nuances of mechanical work. And while she never thought she would spend her off days in a car junkyard, it didn't take long for her to find enjoyment in it.
or; you and Sevika go on a date to the car pick-a-part yard
(i'm sticking to my hc that sevika drives a 1996 Volvo 850R Wagon and no one will convince me otherwise. this is my truth) ᯓ also ty to everyone who encouraged me to write this after this post i love all of you. ᯓ inspired by my most recent junkyard trip bc i snapped an ignition coil bolt on my honda and wanted an excuse to look for wheels for my celica ooops
─ ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──── ♡ ─── ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──
You can't help but yawn as you pull up your pants, still not fully awake but wanting to get out of the house before the summer heat became too unbearable. When your eyes open to catch yourself in the mirror, you notice the lighting darken and create a shadow over you as Sevika steps up behind you.
"Morning, Sev." You mumble as her hands are placed on your waist. You reach your arms up to wrap around the back of her neck, leaning back into her strong chest and letting your head fall into her as she places a kiss on the side of your temple.
"Mmm. What's up with the cargos this morning, hun?" Sevika whispers. Her hands snake around to your front, carefully pulling up the zipper in front of your stomach before pushing the button through. She tugs a little on the belt loop as one of her arms comes across to hug your chest. "You already know, babe."
"Ah, that you're gonna leave me all by myself while you spend all day giving your attention to your car. You also have love for me too, ya know." You shake your head fondly, her teasing smirk letting you know she's not serious.
She doesn't get hung up on you spending your time on your hobbies. If anything, she likes it. It's an excuse for her to have time for her own, often joining you in the garage as you both do your own things, or if she's feeling up to it even helping you out.
"Come join me then?" You ask hopeful. She nods and kisses down your cheek to your shoulder. "Of course." She mumbles into your skin. She pats your waist before pulling away to get dressed.
"Oh also, can I borrow the Volvo again? Mine mighttt not have enough room." You ask in your sweetest voice as she rounded the corner from the bathroom. You don't have to see her to know she's rolling her eyes. "Of course you can." She sighs in defeat.
─ ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──── ♡ ─── ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──
"So what the hell are we actually here for again?" Sevika asks as you both get out of her car, shutting the doors. You catch up to her long strides as you make your way to the entrance of the pick-a-part yard.
"Uhh, well I need bolts for the Honda's ignition coils cause one of them snapped yesterday. I wanna see what wheels are here too. And whatever else seems like a fun souvenir." Sevika wordlessly takes the heavy bag of tools off your shoulder to carry it herself. "I think you have enough 'souvenirs', hun. You already have a collection of steering wheels." She teases.
"Okay but what if, in the next upcoming weeks I get, let's say a.. LS300. But the shady guy I bought it from took off the steering wheel. Oh look, I have one right here. You gotta think bigger, Sevika." You say as you tap the side of her head. She chuckles reluctantly, amused by your stubbornness, all the while deep down she loves it.
She throws a heavy arm around your shoulder, pulling you into her side. The sound of the gravel crunching under your guys's shoes follows the both of you as she hums, conceded. "You're right. Only cause it's you." She mumbles light-heartedly.
You smile up at her, admiring as the morning sun radiates onto her face. The patterns etched in the dark iris of her eyes glow in the light, and her dark tinted lips are relaxed into a slight smile. You love seeing her like this, especially when you compare this image of her to the Sevika you met for the first time, or the Sevika who's on the job.
The resting scowl she always wore turned to a content smile when she was around you. Her eyebrows didn't crease and her jaw wasn't clenched. Her eyes didn't look so pointed and mean, now they're soft and gentle. The way she carries herself is more relaxed, with her steps being lazier and clunkier as opposed to purposeful, and her shoulders aren't as tense.
She smiles down at you when she catches you staring, and you bashfully avert your gaze to the ground.
─ ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──── ♡ ─── ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──
While Sevika finishes checking in, you go off to grab a cart. She meets you and places the bag inside, and before you can continue she taps your hand holding the bar, gently shooing you away. You step to the side as she takes your spot, leaning her forearms on the handle as she pushes forward.
You lead the way with a hand on the side of the cart, ogling at the hundreds and hundreds of cars lined up in rows on jacks. Sevika stopped paying attention to the torn apart cars after the second row, instead finding herself fixated on you. This place really was like heaven for someone like you. And Sevika for that matter, who while not being into cars as much as you, had pretty sound knowledge of general mechanics.
Growing up in Zaun with not much money usually meant you either learn how to fix things yourself, or go into debt having someone else do it. So, when she got her first car as a teenager, a busted up Subaru Outback, she'd quickly learned to fix things up herself. She mostly viewed fixing up her car as a slight nuisance, annoying but necessary. Until she met you, and came to understand the fun nuances of mechanical work. She quite enjoyed it when she had to do maintenance or tune ups on her car now. And while she never thought she would spend her off days in a junkyard, it didn't take long for her to find enjoyment in it.
"The holy Honda land." You say as you and Sevika come up upon row 219. She stops behind you as you peek over one of the engine bays, rounding the cart to join you. "It's gonna be the bolt that goes into this little thing." You explain to Sevika, who nods intently.
Sevika knew the drill, and you both got to work. This car didn't have the bolts you needed, so you both continued on to ransacking the rest of the car in search of something that could be of use. Sevika rummaged through the interior while you checked around under the car for any spare bolts or screws that could be of use.
You startle when a car door lands on the ground just next to you, dust being kicked up in your face from the impact. Quicker than you could comprehend, Sevika's hand was covering your head while her other grasped onto the heavy metal before it fell further. Once your body recognized its safety, you couldn't help but burst out into laughter at the fallen door, a piece of the broken handle still in Sevika's hand.
"Well someone already got to the hinges." Sevika shrugged, followed by her own chuckles as she throws the door to the side. You guys repeat the same thing on multiple cars, engaging in conversation about your week or stories from Sevika's recent gambling stint at The Last Drop.
You cheer as the next car you come upon finally had the bolts still intact. "Found em?" Sevika said, amusement clear on her face. "Yes ma'am." She rolls her eyes at your response, but hands you your socket wrench. "Need a 10?" She asks as she searches through the sockets in your bag. You hum in response and she places the piece of metal in your outstretched palm.
You take off the bolts, handing them behind you to Sevika to hold onto until you were done. "Atta girl." She says as she takes them from you, not missing the shy and sheepish look on your face from her praise.
The both of you continue this for upwards of an hour, just rummaging through torn apart cars while talking. Eventually you retire the search of car parts in favor of hunting for wheels. Not even five minutes into rummaging through the piles of rims and tires, Sevika grabs your attention with a low whistle.
You look up and see her lifting up a chrome wheel, with what looked like almost brand new tires. "Oh my god, no way!" You trudge over the wheels on the ground to meet her. You inspect the little numbers on the tires on the rim, "right size and everything." You say happily. "Man I wish I lucked out this easily with mine for the Volvo. Had to pay out the ass for mine."
Sevika shook her head, effortlessly dropping the wheel in the cart as you picked up the other. Sure, Sevika was a gentlewoman; always holding your bags, opening doors for you, tying your shoelaces, any act of service she could think of. But she doesn't undermine your own strength either, instead watching with an ogling smirk as you load the last wheel into the cart, your t-shirt sleeves riding up and revealing your flexed muscles. "You're such a dog." You playfully hit her shoulder.
─ ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──── ♡ ─── ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ──
"I'm glad you came with me today." You told Sevika as you made your way back to the car, this time covered in dirt, grime, and sweat, with pockets full of clanking of bolts and fuses. You continue, "I know rummaging around a junkyard isn't an ideal date idea, but it's one my favorite things to do with you." You both make eye contact, matching each others smiles.
"I'd do anything with you, hun. You know that." You stop at her car and turn around to face her, your arms reaching up to wrap around her shoulders. "I love you, Sev." She responds by pulling you in further by your waist, leaning down to catch your lips in hers. She squeezes your waist as her way of saying it back. "Let's get home and shower, yeah?" You nod, a cheeky smile finding its way to your lips at the idea.

hii could you please write for hoon who comes to know that reader hasnt ever cum because of her previous (not so good??) partners and just takes it upon himself to actually show her how much he cares?? and actually pleases her??
a/n: I love this ask so much!! I knew I had to get a start on it 🫶🏻🫶🏻 hope you like it mwah

Sunghoon’s whole body stills when you say it—quietly, offhand, like you’re used to being disappointed.
You tell him you’ve never cum with someone before. That they never really cared enough to try.
His eyes darken—not with lust, but with something deeper. “They didn’t even try?” he repeats, voice low, like he’s barely containing something. “You let them touch this body and they couldn’t even give you that?”
He cups your cheek gently, thumb stroking across your skin. “That’s not happening again. Not while I’m breathing.”
He lays you back like you’re something sacred. Doesn’t rush. Just stares at you for a second like he’s about to rewrite every memory you’ve ever had.
And then he begins.

His fingers are the first thing you feel—slow and careful, easing between your folds. He spreads you open with reverent hands, whispering praise like it’s instinct.
“Look at how wet you already are,” he murmurs, sliding two fingers up your slit. “And this is just from my hands?”
He slides one finger in first, curling immediately, reading your body like he’s known it forever. Then the second joins, and the stretch has you gasping, clinging to his wrist.
“Yeah, that’s it,” he coos. “Let me see you fall apart for the first time. You deserve this.”
His thumb finds your clit—pressing, circling, just enough friction while his fingers move deep and steady. It builds fast. You’re clenching around him, thighs shaking already.
“Don’t hold it in,” he says softly. “Cum for me. Let go.”
And you do; loud, breathless, thighs squeezing around his hand as the orgasm rips through you, your first real one, leaving you trembling.

He kisses your knee, your thigh, your inner hip—everywhere but where you want him next. You’re still catching your breath when he eases your legs open again and lowers his mouth.
“You didn’t think I’d stop, did you?” he asks with a soft laugh. “That was just the start.”
His tongue is sinful. Gentle at first—small licks, teasing swirls around your clit that have you twitching instantly from oversensitivity.
But he doesn’t back off. He moans into you, like he needs this as much as you do. His hands hold your hips down while he sucks your clit into his mouth and laps over it again and again.
You’re panting, whining his name, voice breaking as you come again—this time harder, messier, your hand tangled in his hair, trying to both pull him closer and push him away.
“That’s two,” he whispers when you finally sag back, thighs trembling. “How are you feeling, angel?”
You barely manage a breathless, dazed, “Good… too good…”
His smirk is soft but proud. “You’re not done yet.”

He slides his cock between your folds—not in, just grinding through your soaked heat. The length of him rubs perfectly against your clit and slit, the friction delicious and unbearable.
“This okay?” he asks, voice gentler now. “Not inside, just want to feel you here.”
You nod desperately, already bucking your hips up for more.
He strokes himself through you slowly, carefully—your slick coating his shaft as he slides it back and forth, grinding against your most sensitive spot.
“You’re so warm,” he breathes. “So fucking soft. God, I could come just from this.”
The pressure builds again. It’s embarrassing how quickly it happens. How sensitive you are. But Sunghoon’s eyes are locked on you, watching your every twitch, like your pleasure is the only thing that matters.
“That’s it, baby. Give me another. You can do it. One more.”
Your hips stutter, and then you break—crying out, back arching as a third orgasm crashes through you, this one leaving you glassy-eyed and limp beneath him.
He eases you down gently, kissing your thighs, your stomach, your lips—whispering praise between every breath.
“That’s how it’s supposed to be,” he murmurs, pulling a blanket over you both. “Next time, we’ll try with my cock. But tonight? I just wanted you to know what it feels like.. what you deserve to feel like.."

The curtain yanks open with a dramatic rustle. You let out a squeal in surprise, whipping around as water streamed down your face. Instinctively, you slap your hands over your chest.
“Jesus Christ!”
“Good morning to you too,” Suguru hums contently, stepping in without ceremony.
His clothes are, unsurprisingly, already thrown somewhere across the bathroom. Midnight hair falls past his shoulders, a few strands plastered to his face. But most noticeable of all, is that unmistakable glint in his eyes. The infuriating, shit-eating sparkle that meant he was about to be absolutely insufferable.
“Water bill’s too high,” he adds, grabbing your shampoo from the shelf overhead.
“You just want to see me naked,” you mutter, still covering yourself with your hands like that would stop the inevitable.
“Sweetheart,” he leans in, lips brushing your shoulder, “I always want to see you naked.”
You shoot him a look. “You're such a perv.”
“And you look gorgeous right now,” he drawls, eyes trailing downwards languidly. “We should really do this more often.”
Suguru's lips press to your shoulder lazily, mouth warm even under the hot water. His kisses trail slowly, almost absentmindedly, over your collarbone as if tasting the steam off your skin.
His hands, though, remain annoyingly neutral. Adjusting the showerhead, pushing hair out of your face, lathering body wash on your back while he peppers kisses tenderly on each and every part of your body.
“So are we actually showering, or are you just going to stand there and... be you?”
“Don't act like you aren't enjoying this,” he replies, one hand casually snaked around your waist. “You could ask me to leave, y'know.”
“You never listen.”
“True,” he says, eyes flicking to your lips then back up. “But I’m an excellent multitasker.”
You open your mouth to respond but don’t get the chance. Suguru's hands find your jaw, cupping your face as he turns you towards himself. His lips press against yours, slow at first, steady, like he has all the time in the world.
Your hands fly to his neck, pulling him closer just as his body presses into yours, chest to chest, nothing between you but heat and steam.
He deepens the kiss further, one hand gripping your waist and pulling you closer like he can't bear even an inch of space between you. The other stays on your cheek, holding you in place, hips tilting just right as he grinds against you.
“Okay,” you breathe against his lips, dazed. “Now you’re just cheating.”
“Cheating?” he repeats, all innocent and wide-eyed. “I’m just loving you in high-definition.”
You roll your eyes. But don't stop him when he presses kisses along your jaw, when his hands drop lower, skimming your thighs, slipping up the backs with delicious deliberation.
Just as you finally give in and sigh, tilting your head, letting your eyes fall shut—
Knock. Knock. Knock.
“Suguru!” came Gojo’s agitated voice. “Are you trying to become one with the water in there? I am about to piss a new timeline into existence.”
You freeze on the spot.
Suguru does not.
In fact, he nips at your collarbone and chuckles, deeply amused.
“You gonna answer that, baby?” he whispers, one hand now teasing the insides of your thighs.
You slapped a wet palm over your mouth, desperately trying not to make a sound. Scrambling for composure you yell back, “I’ll be out in a minute!”
There's a pause on the other side before Gojo replies, voice suddenly chipper.
“Oh. Sorry! Didn’t know it was you. Take your time!”
Suguru raises an eyebrow. “Huh. He bought that?”
“I hate you,” you muttered, especially when his hand snuck between your legs with the confidence of someone who knew exactly how much trouble he was about to cause.
“Don’t lie now,” he said, dimples flashing with wicked satisfaction.
You glared at him, ready to curse him out, but that proved ineffective.
He caught your lips mid-protest, resuming the kiss with a hand tangled in your hair.
His other hand wasn't even pretending to behave as he hoists you up, clean off the ground. Your legs instinctively wrapped around his waist, and your back hit the cold tile with a gasp. He smirks against your mouth, breath ragged.
“Always climbin’ me like a tree,” he mutters, voice rough with amusement. “Might as well make it easier for you.”
“Screw you.” you hiss, barely biting back a moan.
“Yeah, yeah. Working on it,” he grunts, already rolling his hips into you.
His pace is slow, deep—each thrust angled to break you open. Your toes curl, head tipping back against the tile with a thud, fingers tangling in his soaked hair like you’re holding on for dear life.
Suguru stays close, mouth glued to your skin, groaning against your neck as he drives into you like he’s trying to fuck the air out of your lungs.
You were shaking, gasping, whispering his name over and over.
KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK.
“My hearing's just fine, you gross fucks! I swear if I piss myself while you're getting dicked down in my shower—”
Gojo’s tantrum doesn’t even phase him. Suguru’s too busy wrecking you, too caught up in the way you clench and cry out to care who hears.
“I love you,” he breathes into your collarbone.
“This is not romantic,” you whimper, nails digging into his back.
“Could’ve fooled me,” he pants. “You’re literally trembling.”
“Because Gojo’s threatening to piss at the door!”
On the other side, his best friend was banging on the door like his life depended on it.
“I hope the shampoo goes in both of your eyes and the water turns cold mid-orgasm!”
And yet, Suguru never stopped smiling.
— ✦ — ❖ — ✦ —
You barely made it out alive. Hair dripping, legs barely cooperating, and Suguru still looking like the devil incarnate he is, towel slung dangerously low on his hips.
You’re swaddled in the fluffiest one he could find, clutching it like a lifeline while trying to remember how to breathe like a normal person.
The bathroom door creaks open.
“Finally,” Gojo groans, stomping in with all the righteous fury of a man wronged. “I have seen entire civilizations rise and fall in the time it took for you two to defile my shower.”
He walks in and grabs his toothbrush, looking you dead in the eyes.
“I sincerely hope you both rot. Like, from the bottom of my heart.”
You shrink further into your towel, cheeks on fire. Suguru, of course, doesn’t even blink.
“You should’ve knocked,” he says smoothly, toweling off his hair with a yawn.
“Oh wait, you did. Three times.”
Gojo spins dramatically, toothbrush still in hand. “Three? I was one knock away from calling an exorcist for the sounds I heard.”
“You could’ve just gone in the sink,” Suguru says, utterly unbothered.
“I did. Not my proudest moment.”
You blink. “Wait. You seriously pissed in the sink?”
Gojo groans. “What choice did I have?! Every time I knocked, I was rewarded with moaning. It was like Pavlov's bell.”
You bury your into your hands, hoping the ground just up and swallows you whole.
Gojo turns to face you, deeply hurt by your betrayal. “You were my favorite, just so you know. Were.”
You’re about to defend yourself—say something—but Suguru wraps an arm around your waist, pulling you close, and smirking like the devil himself.
“Wanna go for round two while he’s brushing his teeth?”
Gojo gags and retches. “I will shove that fucking loofah so far up your ass, you’ll be exfoliating from the inside out.”
Suguru just raises an eyebrow, calm as ever. “D’you want us to go at it again? Because you sound like you want us to go at it again.”
“I swear to god, if I hear one more thigh slap—”
“Slap?” Suguru muses, looking at you. “Did it sound like a slap? I thought it was more of a—”
“Don't you dare finish that sentence.”
“Can we just…” you whisper, already mentally packing your bags, “pretend this never happened?”
A/N: Everyone talks about how deranged Gojo would be as a boyfriend. But once you’re deep in with Suguru? Boyyyy that man would make Gojo look emotionally well-adjusted.

"Bucky, this is a bad idea," you tell him as you watch him shut the door to your bedroom behind you. "there's a million people downstairs. my parents will be looking for me."
your protests fall on deaf ears as he steps closer, staring you down with those eyes that somehow manage to both scare you and make you feel like the only girl in the world.
his hands come to hold you by your waist, not once breaking eye contact with you as he approaches. "then tell me you'd rather go back downstairs."
his words are a challenge, and even though you know better than to play his games...
he's right.
"come on, baby," he says, his words like molasses in your ears, "tell me you don't want Uncle Bucky to make you feel better, hmm?"
you can't help but roll your eyes at him. "you're horrible," you comment, shaking your head and smacking his arm, "now is not the fucking time for this, and you know it."
"your body's telling me a different story," he says with that stupid smirk still plastered on his face. he gently brushes your hair back off your shoulder, revealing the skin of your neck to his gaze. you make no attempts to push him away or deny his words as he leans in to press open-mouthed kisses to your flesh.
"no marks, Bucky," you scold. you really don't feel like having to spend another couple minutes in the bathroom trying to cover them up, to no avail, when you have a house full of people downstairs.
you can't help but gasp sharply when his hands on your waist suddenly spin you around, making you do a double take. next thing you know, he's suddenly picking you up like and tossing you forward onto the bed.
"Bucky!" you yelp as you fall against the sheets of your bed, but before you can turn around to yell at him, he's crawling over you, pinning you to the bed.
"shh..." he hushes you, pressing his hips down on yours to keep you in place. he's too strong for you to fight back against him, his weight successfully trapping you. you can feel his bulge up against the crack of your ass, and fuck, doing this right now is so wrong but it feels so good.
he once again pushes your hair out of the way to place his mouth back on your skin, in the gentle dip where your neck meets your shoulder. you're about to reprimand him for the second time when he murmurs in your ear, "no marks, huh?" once again, it sounds like he's challenging you, testing you.
you can't help but shiver underneath him, too distracted by the feel of his breath behind your ear, the way his voice gets deeper when he speaks when he's got you like this, right where he wants you.
"yeah. too afraid to let everyone know what you're in here letting your uncle do to you, ain't that right, pretty girl?"
a jolt runs up your spine. what if someone comes looking for you? what if someone finds out?
"relax," he says, hands running down your sides. "I've got you."
you force yourself to relax into the pillows, feeling the way his hands come down to the hem of your dress where it meets the curve of your ass.
"did you wear this for me?" he asks as he leans back, taking in the sight of you on your stomach as he straddles you from behind.
"yes," you admit to him, "who else?"
even though it was a harmless, rhetorical question, the idea of you getting all dressed up for someone that isn't him easily pisses him off.
he digs his fingertips into the plush of your upper thighs, making you wince at the increase in pressure.
"nobody else. that's not happening," he growls. he carefully lifts the hem of your dress up to reveal your skin to him, and then he's moving off of you, hands staying in place on your legs to keep you from squirming. "you're all fucking mine, you hear?"
like you would ever fight him on that. you want to tell him yes, I'm yours.
always have been.
"oh, fuck," you whimper when you feel his mouth on you, laving his tongue against you where the lace of your panties rest against your skin.
before you know it, he's sinking his teeth into the soft plush of your ass, gentle but surely deep enough to leave a bite mark. the feeling makes you moan again, and this time you bury your face into the pillow, makeup be damned. you can't stand the idea of anyone walking by and hearing what's going on right now.
his hands are all over you, cool metal fingers reaching up to press against the back of your neck. "that's it, keep quiet for me," he murmurs, lips moving delicately against you, taunting you.
you try to squirm, flinch away from the sensation, the heat of his breath against your skin.
he chuckles and continues to torment you as he whispers, "ticklish, huh?"
"no," you breathe out, trying to throw him off. your voice already sounds fucking wrecked, and he hasn't even touched you yet. you know he clocks it, even if he doesn't comment. when it comes to you, he notices everything.
"oh, but I don't believe that," he insists, his flesh hand pushing your dress further up your torso. his fingers trail down your back, the touch so soft it's barely even there. he continues to tease you, tongue darting out to taste your skin, teeth brushing against you every few seconds to keep you on edge.
the culmination of his hands, his breath, his mouth, all of it, makes you want to cry out for him. you want to let loose, beg him to fuck you slow and deep, right here, right now.
the thought reminds you of where you are. how long have you been gone?
"Bucky-"
it's as though he can read your mind, or perhaps he feels the way your body tenses up underneath him as he interrupts you, "shh, babydoll, just a few more minutes."
he withdraws his hand from the back of your neck, releasing you from your confines. both of his hands return back to their place on your waist to reposition you so you're lying on your back under him, just for him. he leans in close, resting his forehead against your own, noses touching.
"there you are," he whispers softly, as though he wasn't just driving you up a wall with gentle touches and tormenting the crap out of you.
the feeling of his lips on yours never fails to make you melt. you never want to leave his arms, what with the way he touches you like he owns you, like you're the most important thing in his life.
he's the most important thing in your life.
you wish you knew if he felt the same.
his flesh hand makes its way under your panties, calloused fingers immediately finding how soaked you are for him. he moves with determination, touching you the way he's learned makes your vision go white, bending you to his will.
"you're going to lay there and take it while I mark you up where only I can see," he whispers to you.
your head is nodding in approval before you're aware of it.
you get so lost in him, all your anxieties melting away as he leaves more marks on your skin than ever before. you let him lick and nip and bite as much as he wants, soft bruises appearing all across your stomach up to your breasts, just below where the hem of your dress lays atop your chest.
all the while, he gently thrusts three fingers in and out of you, nowhere near enough pressure to drive you to orgasm.
somehow, you feel so far away and yet so grounded at the same time.
as he moves down between your thighs, pressing your legs apart, you lift your head from the pillow just enough to get a look at the sight of him so enamored with feeling you.
you gaze over the bunched-up fabric of your dress bundled under your neck, taking in the sight of the hickeys over your torso all the way down to where he's now marking your inner thighs.
you might come just from the view: his eyes cinched tightly in pleasure as he tastes you, his lips attached to your skin like he's never wanted anything more than this. his fingers still lazily pushing in and out, lace panties soaked through, the fabric covering his fingers as he works you gently.
he always manages to do this, reducing you to nothing but putty in his hands.
and then your worst fears come true.
there's a banging at your bedroom door, and you hear your name being called out loudly.
even worse-
the jiggling of the doorknob makes your blood run ice cold.
the door is locked, you realize, silently thanking Bucky.
"I'll be right out," you call, and your voice is shaky and hoarse. fuck. "I have to change," you excuse, managing to placate your father enough that he walks away.
fuck, you might cry right now.
"it's okay, you're okay," Bucky assures you, leaning over you so his face is in line with your own. the motions of his hand picking up between your legs, trying to distract you. "I'm here."
you wrap your arms around his neck as he quickly pushes you over the edge, and it's just enough to make you relax.
"come on, darling. you gotta change and go find your dad. tell him I ran to the store."
you nod in agreement, but now, you're pissed.
pissed at your dad for ruining this. pissed at Bucky for doing this in the middle of the party. pissed at yourself for letting any of this happen, for betraying your family's trust. doing this right under their noses.
you really can't be mad at anyone but yourself.
~~~
an hour later, you're chatting with another friend of the family, one of your long-time neighbors, answering all her invasive questions.
"how's school, sweetie?"
"do you have a job this summer?"
"I'm sure a pretty girl like you has a boyfriend by now. what's his name? is he good-looking? tell me everything, darling!"
"no, no boyfriend," you assure her, casually laughing at the thought. "I'm focusing on getting through school right now."
just then, you catch Bucky's gaze from across the yard. you know he has no clue what you're talking about, no way he can hear from so far away.
it's a crazy coincidence that it's right now he looks over at you.
"school's important, but you have to let yourself have fun! live while you're young!" she encourages you.
if only she knew.
if only she, or anyone, knew.
the way you are having fun. the way you are being a stupid, idiot kid.
the way you're doing something so wrong and scandalous and fun.
the way his lips were all over your skin not even an hour ago, all while the party was in full swing, all your family and friends here.
as you look back over to him, you know he's thinking about it, too. he gives you a little smirk before taking a swig of his beer and diverting his gaze back to his conversation with your father as they man the grill.
you have to take a deep breath as you turn back to your conversation, trying your best to focus.
but how can you?
your mind is clouded with thoughts of the marks hidden just under the new dress you've changed into, only for you and him to see, to know about.
your dirty little secret, hidden in plain sight.
𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐬 𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐬 | 𝐬.𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐝
𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: the weight of distance presses heavier with each passing day, the ache of absence stitched together only by hour-long phone calls like a fragile sutures on a wound that refuses to close. so you choose his birthday — the perfect day to cross the miles in silence and secrecy, and surprise spencer on his special day.
𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬/𝐭𝐰: glasses!reid x baufemale!reader, long distance relationship, early seasons team, so our queen elle is here, lots of team interactions overall, both reader and spencer's pov, height difference, kissing until his glasses fog up xx
𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬: 5k
𝐚/𝐧: literally started writing this over two months ago so i hope the first half doesnt differ too much in quality from the second one :/ the soul who’s the first to catch the tiny subtle mr darcy reference gets a cookie!
You admitted it without a trace of embarrassment – every time you called your long-distance boyfriend, you waited for him to pick up with your forehead almost glued to the screen and your lips frozen in a half-smile, ready to bloom across half your face the moment you saw his face.
Automatically.
The word nonchalance wasn’t foreign to you, but you deeply despised it. You had no intention of pretending it didn’t matter whether he picked up or not, or that you hadn’t rearranged half of your quite busy day for that shared moment. You weren’t going to pretend that hearing his voice meant any less to you than it actually did, just to maintain some kind of image or out of fear of being too much.
No, that definitely wasn’t your case.
If anything, you leaned toward paranoia — that you weren’t doing enough to take care of your relationship stretched across nearly 4000 miles and separated by the Pacific. That you weren’t trying hard enough. You had a set time for one call a day; usually, by then, you were already comfortably tucked under the covers and reporting in for duty (though duty was a very poor comparison—unless we’re talking about the duty of petting small fluffy puppies. yes. kissing the heads of twenty fluffy puppies was almost exactly like your daily call with Spencer).
But that one daily call usually wasn’t the only one. You reached out to each other spontaneously throughout the day, depending on your schedules and the plans of that particular day. On weekends, you watched movies together, he read a book aloud and you exchanged thoughts only when his calm voice reached the end of a chapter, or you played chess online. The bare minimum to fill the void left behind by the distance.
A void that was, however, ravenous—and seemed to deepen with every passing day. It wasn’t a graph line with rises and dips. It kept steadily taking up more and more space inside you.
And that’s how you came to the conclusion that even hundreds of books read aloud by Spencer wouldn’t be enough to dissolve it.
Not when his voice came through a phone speaker.
Not when it wasn’t followed by his breath, tickling your ear.
And that realization pushed you toward a certain…spontaneous decision.
But more on that later.
Your call was finally answered, and a premature, involuntary soft smile curled your lips before his face even appeared on your screen.
“Hey, handsome…” you began with your usual line, fully prepared to relish the blush that would bloom on his cheeks like cupcakes with sweet cherries on top—
but instead of your favorite treat, you were met with something entirely different.
Seeing Derek’s face, clumsily close to the front-facing camera and moving in a way that strongly suggested he was fiercely struggling to keep hold of the phone, snapped you back to attention like an athlete catching their footing.
“Hello, conventionally handsome man, long time no see. Anyway, where’s my handsome man?”
“Morgan, I’m serious, give me—”
“Hey, kid, how many times have I told you women don’t like possessive men? Let me talk to her for a sec…”
“I’m not possessive, I just…”
“You’re right, long time no see,” Derek cut in, completely ignoring his friend—his words, his attempts to wrestle the phone back from his hand. You kept your gaze fixed on the corner of the screen where a part of Spencer’s face occasionally slipped into the frame. Your lips were still curved in a smile, but shifting your focus to Morgan took effort. “What’s up, former-new girl? Don’t look too happy to see me.”
“Oh, I’m very happy to see you. In fact, the sight of you has turned this rainy Amsterdam day well, not exactly sunny, but let’s say we’ve moved from a downpour to a drizzle.”
“You’re welcome—that’s what friends are for. So? You in the mood for a quick chat with me?”
“Morgan.”
“Hmm, gladly,” you replied, tapping your free lip in mock thoughtfulness. “Let me just check my schedule to see when I might be available. How about next Friday?”
“Next Friday?”
“Morgan, I swear—”
“Oh my God, stop torturing them already,” cut in a woman’s voice you recognized instantly, and almost in the same moment, the phone moved from Morgan’s hand to your friend Elle’s.
She gave you a smile—a fleeting one, just a flash of sincerity—before replacing it with her trademark bossy expression. “Another second and they’ll both shrivel up from longing. Here you go.” She handed the phone back to its rightful owner. The first thing you saw were his eyes behind the glasses, aimed at her, full of grateful warmth. “You both owe me one. But since one of you is currently unavailable and clearly unable to repay it, you owe me two favors, Reid.”
A nod.
“Goes without saying.”
You just managed to catch Morgan’s disappointed sigh at having his thoroughly entertaining game cut short, before you found yourself finally, completely one-on-one with your boyfriend.
He was watching the two of them—presumably leaving—until, at last, his gaze shifted to you. That tiny smile of yours finally bloomed into something fuller.
“Okay, I feel like I was interrupted earlier and I need to say this again, properly,” you said before he could get a word out. You took a breath, like you were about to cast a spell. “Good morning, handsome.”
You loved that kind of smile on his lips—the one that came with an involuntary tilt of the head, like its weight shifted evenly and pulled just enough to cause that barely noticeable movement.
“Finally. Good morning, angel.”
It warmed you every single time he used that phrase with you, and you couldn’t help but blink a little faster at the thought of hearing it in person after such a long time apart. But that was still the future, a vision. For now, there was the present, reality.
“Please, tell Morgan I didn’t brush him off because I didn’t want to talk to him,” you said. “But I literally have fifteen minutes before I have to leave and just wanted to call you real quick, because I won’t be very available later. I have a seminar.”
Spencer nodded because, of course, he remembered. But still, his brown eyes clouded slightly.
“You mentioned it. And well, of course I’ll tell Morgan you brushed him off because you didn’t want to talk to him.”
You almost snorted, but held it back.
“Hey, being my boyfriend doesn’t give you permission to use me for your personal revenge.”
“It doesn’t?” he asked with a face of innocence, fake curiosity, like he’d just come across a tiny footnote at the bottom of a page, an unknown piece of information.
“Well, usually no, but there are exceptions to that rule. For example, when the personal revenge might bring satisfaction to both of us. The second is when you ask nicely. Just please, don’t abuse that option.”
“I’ll try, but I can’t make any promises.”
“I’d make you pinky-promise, but that wouldn’t really work in our current situation,” you said, glancing at your own raised pinkie, the corners of your mouth tugging downward.
Then suddenly, they parted, struck by a thought. “Oh, right. I just remembered. What are you planning to do tomorrow?”
Spencer’s brow furrowed slightly.
“The usual, I guess? Go to work…”
“For your birthday, silly.”
This time, it was his lips that parted with a soft, dawning hiss of realization. You looked at him with raised eyebrows.
“Don’t even tell me you forgot your own birthday.”
Spencer shook his head distractedly.
“No, it’s not that I completely forgot. But if you think about it, it wouldn’t be that weird if I had. I don’t have any plans anyway, and it’s just going to be…you know, a totally normal day.”
You watched him for a moment in silence. You rarely faked emotions around him. But this time, you had to summon a thick mask of exaggerated disappointment—couldn’t let even the tiniest flicker of stinging excitement slip through.
“I wish I could be there for you so badly.”
That part didn’t need faking. The sincerity in those words rang clear. You saw your boyfriend’s jaw tighten slightly, and you wished you could reach out and rest your hand against it, letting your thumb brush toward his lips.
The silence that followed suddenly felt especially heavy. You knew Spencer was masking his sadness so you wouldn’t feel bad about not being there. He didn’t expect you to feel guilty—but he anticipated it. And, well, he’d be right. You would feel bad.
You forced a smile onto your lips—only because you wanted to see how, eyes fixed on your face, he’d unconsciously mirror the gesture. You’d learned that trick a long, long time ago.
“I have to run,” you announced with a sigh. “Seriously, I have to run. technically, I should already be out the door.”
“Don’t forget your umbrella.”
“It’s not raining anymore.”
“Yeah, but it’s supposed to start again right around the time you’ll be heading home. And there’s a cold front coming in from the North Sea, so maybe wear something warmer under your coat. I don’t want you getting sick.”
Spencer knew the weather in your city—on another continent—better than you did.
A moment of silence to let that fact settle. Thank you.
“If you’re right, I love you,” you said. “If you’re wrong, I still love you, but I’m also mad I had to lug around an umbrella all day.”
For a fleeting moment, he dipped his head, eyes squinting just slightly, a small smile on his lips.
“I love you too.”
*
Spencer had never been particularly fond of celebrating his birthday.
To him, birthdays were simply another way of measuring time like years, months, weeks, and days—only a little more brutal. They were like a mirror you woke up in front of one day, a moment of realization and reckoning—not so much with time moving forward, but with everything that had been left behind. The new year reflected what you had achieved and who you had become. Birthdays, on the other hand, felt like a celebration of missed chances, honored with the addition of yet another digit to your age.
Twenty-six. He could’ve done something far more impressive by now—and he didn’t mean that just as self-criticism. He was being objective. At twenty-six, Einstein had his Annus Mirabilis, his miraculous year, the year he developed the theory of mass–energy equivalence. With that knowledge in mind, Spencer had every right to feel a certain pressure.
But beyond all that, that day…he just wasn’t in the mood.
He had just been wondering what to eat for dinner when his phone started ringing.
A long-distance relationship had trained him to reach for it the exact second the ringtone sounded—and to experience that brief flicker of disappointment when the name on the screen wasn’t the one he was hoping for. Just like this time.
“Oh, Reid, how wonderful that you picked up so fast,” came Penelope’s voice on the other end.
“Garcia, hey. Something’s wrong?”
“Yes. I mean—no. I need you to drop by for a moment, is that okay? I mean, even if it’s not okay, it’s still probably better if you come. Not that I’m forcing you, but—ugh, just come over.”
Spencer was standing in his kitchen, phone pressed to his ear, and as her explanation spilled out, a suspicion started blooming in him. He considered himself a fairly perceptive person—and Penelope a very open book. So it was no surprise that, almost immediately, he had a pretty good idea of what was going on. He leaned his lower back against one of the cabinets, folding his free arm across his chest.
“I’m not sure I can make it,” he said despite knowing full well that he could, and that he had the time. But he also knew that, on the other end, Garcia was probably exchanging panicked looks with the rest of the team, arguing about where exactly to hang the balloons in her apartment. And the image was amusing enough to drag out the moment. “For what?”
“I need your help. With something.”
“With what exactly?”
His friend let out something between a hum and a sigh—both thoughtful and panicked.
Meanwhile, Spencer waited patiently, smiling to himself and saying nothing.
“What am I supposed to tell him?!”Penelope’s voice came faintly from the speaker, as if she’d lowered the phone away from her mouth probably thinking that would keep him from hearing. It didn’t.
“I don’t know, make something up!” came a reply Spencer recognized instantly—Derek. A finger snap. “Lightbulb in the bathroom went out.”
“Oh, great! I love when your brain is the same size as your biceps.” She turned her attention back to the phone, voice suddenly loud and confident with her freshly invented excuse “The lightbulb in my bathroom blew.”
Spencer wasn’t about to let it slide that easily.
“What wattage?”
“What?”
“What wattage is the bulb? LED or halogen?”
“Normal. It’s a normal lightbulb, Reid.”
“Are you sure it’s burnt out? Could be a wiring issue. Might be better to call a specialist to take a look. I’d rather not end up electrocuted. Especially on my birthday.”
“Jeez, tell him to stop being such a child.”
Penelope pulled the phone away again.
“I can’t, then he won’t come at all!”
“I have an idea,” Spencer said suddenly, forcing her to scramble back to the call.
“Why don’t you ask Morgan to change it for you, since he’s already there?”
Garcia squeaked in panic. Then immediately broke into a cough, trying to mask the sound.
“There is no Derek Morgan here! Where would you even get that idea?” she squealed in a high voice. At the same time, a distinct snort of laughter echoed in the background. “That? That’s just the TV. Just…some dumb show with an annoying host. Ugh, I should really turn it off…”
The snort that echoed in the background this time didn’t belong to Morgan. It belonged to Elle. A quiet, distant argument broke out between all three of them, and Spencer didn’t understand a single word of it. He cut in at the moment he considered most appropriate.
“I’ll be at your place in 30 minutes.”
Complete silence.
“You’re coming? Seriously? Guys, he says that— I mean, ymm, great! See you!”
Before she hung up, he still managed to hear her deep sigh of relief that the conversation, in which she had to show off her conspiracy skills, was finally over.
Spencer slowly pulled the phone away from his ear, remaining for a moment in the silence that followed. Of course he had intended to show up from the very beginning. He might not have felt excited at the thought of his birthday, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t appreciate the surprise his friends had put effort into preparing. It wasn’t his dream way of spending the day, but there was a reason that dream scenario remained in the realm of dreams—its realization was simply physically impossible. But a not-so-surprising surprise party ranked high on that list.
He hesitated over what to wear. In the end, his gaze settled on the shirt he'd gotten from no one other than you. You liked how that soft, muted pink color both slightly contrasted with his wardrobe and still somehow fit perfectly into it. You also used to say it brightened his face.
Spencer pulled it on, tied his tie, and sent you a photo. He wanted you to know that even though you were far away, he was still wearing your favorite clothes.mHe didn’t expect you to reply right away.You’d already had the birthday call, during which you gave him wishes you’d been crafting for two weeks. You delivered them at machine-gun speed with all your enthusiasm, then repeated them more slowly so he’d have a chance to actually understand anything.
Your reply came just as he was leaving his apartment.
my boyfriend sending me an outfit check??? never thought I’d live to see that day
He was just turning the key in the lock, the light from his phone casting a glow onto his face, letting the gentle smile on his lips break through the darkness slowly wrapping around the stairwell. He pressed the handle again to check whether being distracted had made him forget to lock it. Then he dropped the key into his pocket and slowly started down the stairs.
Not quite an outfit check. Just tangible or well, virtual, proof that I really like this shirt and I’m not wearing it just because you told me to. The team’s throwing me a surprise party and I figured it’d be perfect…
here his fingers slowed
…it’s your favorite, and in its own not-quite-explainable way, it makes me feel like you’re here.
The reply probably came in before you even finished reading the whole message.
so an outfit check?
wait what kind of surprise party is it if you know about it??
u’re so sweet. also you look so good in that color.
He wanted to text back, to explain how he even knew about this surprise party, but another message came in.
sorry cant really text rn just getting off the tram :( hope u have fun at the party kisses call u later
He was a little surprised, since you usually took the later tram home, but maybe you just had your own reason for coming back earlier. Maybe he’d ask about it later, when the two of you called. Spencer hoped he wouldn’t be too tired after the party to talk to you.
So he replied simply
Got it. Please, be safe.
The way to Penelope’s apartment passed very quickly for him. It occurred to him that he didn’t really know who would even be there. Definitely Morgan, Elle, possibly JJ, but he doubted that everyone had shown up—like, everyone everyone.
And if it turned out he was right, he didn’t intend to be even slightly offended—after all, it was understandable they might’ve wanted to spend the evening in a different way. He knocked on the door and didn’t even call out to come in, even though as he was approaching them, he had clearly heard voices coming from inside, which suddenly, as if by magic, fell silent.
He felt like rolling his eyes—in a positive sense. It was predictable. Of course it was. But it also filled him with a certain warm feeling.
He opened the door and stepped into Garcia’s apartment, heading for the living room. And that’s exactly what he did when he saw the entire team gathered there. He rolled his eyes, though that warm feeling grew stronger and made the decision on its own to stretch his lips into a broad, broader smile when he realized they really were all there.
They were silent, eyes fixed on him, Elle and JJ both holding a tray with a birthday cake with lit candles, but for some reason not bringing it any closer to him.
“Sorry, but I have to say this,” he began. “You’re so predictable.”
“Are we?” came a voice directly behind his back.
He didn’t exactly freeze in place, like he’d been hit with liquid nitrogen. His body transitioned into that state gradually — starting with his shoulder blades instinctively drawing together, long before his mind fully processed the situation or registered that voice.
That voice.
The voice he heard every single day through his phone or laptop speaker, desecrated by the quality of the device — which, even if it were the most cutting-edge machine built by NASA, wouldn’t be able to truly convey the tone of her voice, let alone force him to feel the kind of emotions that now crashed into him like a wave, drowning him.
Water filling his ears.
No, that couldn’t be — they had literally exchanged texts just moments ago!
His eyes locked ahead, all the team’s gazes fixed on him, waiting, expectant. Penelope, her hands tightly clasped together, resting just beneath her chin.
Spencer, not breathing, turned around — and only then drew in a deep, vital breath.
Vital, because he knew he was about to pull her into an embrace so tight neither of them would get a taste of air for a very long time.
Your eyes locked onto each other like two powerful magnets, desperately seeking one another — an instant click. Another instant click when both your arms wrapped tightly around his neck, lifting her feet off the ground. Click when his hands gripped your waist firmly, steadying you. Click when his face found its place in the curve of your neck, burying itself there completely, disappearing, hiding, drawing the curtains so no one else could interrupt this moment.
Click, because you were together.
Spencer drew in a shaky breath, entirely filled with your scent — a scent he seemed to rediscover after months apart — occupying his mind so completely that the words he had intended to say slipped away from him entirely. You took over the role of speaker instead.
“Happy birthday,” you announced tearfully, sniffling and pulling your head away from his shoulder so the tear rolling down your cheek wouldn’t stain his shirt.
The pale pink shirt. Your favorite shirt.
You pouted your bottom lip, trying to hold it together, but you couldn’t. Now that you were finally with him, the full weight of maintaining a long-distance relationship — the weight you had been pushing away to avoid sinking into sadness — crashed down on you all at once. But it was wild, unrestrained, and yet instantly found comfort in his arms, his scent, his presence.
You felt his chest cave slightly as he took in a breath and lifted his head to look at you. In the process, his glasses had been pressed all the way up his nose from where they'd been crushed between your neck and his face — the frames practically touching his eyelids — but neither of you thought about how ridiculous that must've looked.
His eyes immediately locked onto the tear that had slipped from yours. He wanted to wipe it away, but he didn’t want to let go of you either, so he settled for pressing a fleeting kiss to your cheek, brushing it away with his lips instead.
It earned a muffled, quiet laugh from you.
“What are you doing here?” he asked in a hushed voice.
You blinked and dipped your head slightly, letting the tears pool without falling, then tilted it back up so you could focus on his face. Immediately, you had the impulse to adjust his glasses, which you did.
“Attending my boyfriend’s surprise birthday party,” you replied, sliding your hand down his chest and rising onto your toes to kiss him — briefly, because you could feel the eyes of all your friends on you, patiently silent and giving you time.
It wasn’t a good idea. The moment your lips brushed his, Spencer froze for a second, only to lean in for more right after. You barely managed to pull away, ignoring his disgruntled hum of protest.
“But I guess I’m the only element of this whole thing that was actually a surprise…”
You shot a meaningful look at Penelope, fully aware Spencer had known about some kind of party happening. The blonde defensively waved her hands in front of her, brushing off the implied accusation.
“Oh, you don’t get it. I let it slip on purpose so your entrance would be more spectacular! Our genius boy thought he had outsmarted our whole plan and then…” she gestured between the two of you, still tangled together.
This time, it was Spencer who shot her a look, full of disbelief at her words and amused pity. And, as it turned out, he wasn’t the only one — well over half of the people present mirrored his reaction.
To shake off all the attention suddenly weighing on her, Penelope snapped her fingers in the direction of Elle and JJ, who were holding the birthday cake.
"Those candles are practically melting! Don’t forget your wish, loverboy."
Your lips twitched the moment you heard that nickname, and you gave Spencer a light, urging pat on the arm still wrapped around you. You could still feel his hand gently tightening around your waist for a fleeting moment before he let go — his fingers performing a subtle flex before falling back to rest — and leaned down over the cake to blow out the candles shaped like the numbers 2 and 6.
He immediately tried to pull you back into his embrace, but you forced yourself to slip away, letting him get swept into the whirlwind of bear hugs from everyone else.
You stayed back, just slightly to the side, knowing you'd have time for just the two of you later. Your gaze lingered on his softly glowing brown eyes behind his glasses and the faint squint from the smile that simply refused to leave his face. The sounds of the room gradually faded away around you.
Surprisingly, you didn’t feel the slightest exhaustion after the long, connecting flights. And even if any fatigue dared creep its way into your body, it was instantly drowned out by what now burned in your chest — that warm, joyful feeling.
“Why did I even stress so much over picking a gift for him?” you heard from your left , Gideon muttering under his breath, but still loud enough for you to catch. He was staring in the same direction. “No matter what I gave him, the only thing he’ll remember from today is you.”
You exchanged a glance with him — the smile lingering only on your lips, but you could tell he shared it.
For the rest of the party, you and Spencer stayed within arm’s reach, always side by side, finally able to allow yourselves that closeness after so many months apart. Even later, as you made your way back to his apartment at night, hauling gift bags and a single box between you, he carried them all on one arm just so he could keep the other wrapped around you.
You clung to his pink shirt, occasionally rising onto your toes to press a kiss to his jaw or a smile, only to pull away again quickly — careful not to crash into a trash can or a lamp post along your path.
Clinging tightly to his side wasn’t exactly making it easier for either of you to walk. But Spencer didn’t complain. Even despite the fact that you were moving at the pace of a drunken turtle.
When his apartment building finally appeared within sight, you tilted your head back for a moment, breathing slower, more consciously.
“Tonight’s stars are so beautiful,” you remarked, staring at the faint, barely visible dots in the sky.
Spencer slowed his steps, lifting his gaze toward the sky, only to fully shift his attention to your face.
“Setting aside the fact that those are the same stars on the same day,” he started, in that scientific yet soft way of speaking of his, “which I’m quite sure you know…no, they’re not beautiful. Look again. You can barely see them.”
“They’re still beautiful,” you insisted.
You were two adults, standing in the middle of the sidewalk, loaded with birthday gift bags, arguing whether or not the stars were beautiful. Spencer stood firmly on the no side of that debate.
“Absolutely not. Artificial light sources in the city generate light pollution, which makes astronomical observation of the night sky difficult. If we were somewhere less urbanized—”
“But we’re here,” you cut in softly, your face still tilted toward the sky. “We’re here together, which makes them beautiful to me. Besides, beauty is a relative concept. Which I’m quite sure you know.”
His quiet sigh, the gesture of surrender. Instead of trying to convince you of something he simply couldn’t convince you of, he just pressed a soft kiss to your forehead.
“Fine, you win, my little relative concept.”
Already on the staircase, your melancholic mood vanished entirely as you pulled him into a kiss he couldn’t escape from. Not that he wanted to, but he had to — if he actually wanted to dig the key out of his pocket and let you both inside. So while your hands clung to the back of his neck, his fumbled through his pockets — the same ones, because he was far too distracted to remember which ones he’d already checked and which he hadn’t.
“Wait—”
“Can’t—”
“Find—”
“The key—”
Slipped from his lips in the few short moments they weren’t covered by yours. You couldn’t care less about his key struggles — you’d been away from him for months, and you fully intended to kiss him for every single time you’d wanted nothing more than exactly that, but had an ocean between you instead.
Eventually, Spencer gave up and fell silent, returning your kiss with his entire being, both of his hands cradling your cheeks perfectly. You wished your skin was made of plaster, able to preserve the shape of them on you forever. You heard his short, muffled whimper and cracked your eyes open, just enough to notice that his glasses were completely fogged up.
His glasses fogged white, his cheeks flushed pink.
You giggled at the sight, making his face match the color palette of his shirt even more. One of his hands slid down from your cheek and drifted toward the small pocket on his chest. “Found the key,” he announced.
It immediately slipped from his fingers and hit the floor with a clatter.
His sigh, your next giggle, and both of you bending down at the same time.
A head collision and two groans.
You burst into open laughter and took full advantage of the fact that he was bent down, reaching for the key, to press a soft kiss to his hair—the very spot where you’d bumped heads. You left a trail of kisses along his head, wandering across his forehead, brushing the tip of his nose, slowly claiming his lips.
Meanwhile, he blindly fumbled with the key, trying to aim it at the lock without breaking the kiss for even a second.
You weren’t sure there’d be enough hours in the night to fully make up for all the time you’d been apart. Especially since you yourself still couldn’t quite believe this was happening. That you were seeing him again. Kissing him again.
Finally, after what felt like real, dragging hours and simultaneously exactly 4.24 light-years traveled in mere minutes—the sound of the lock turning.
