just a cute little moodboard/collection of photos of my friend puss (first two pics, she's a tortoiseshell tabby, 7 yrs old, who was very much like my little boy, a 2 yr old babie). the rest of pics are of my (we believe) stubby manx x tabby. they're both very special alien creatures with beautiful coats & personalities.
✯ i treasure the love and patience they have shown me this year. inshallah maus! ✯

Usually, when a breed has various coat lengths, they'll have their name then "shorthair" or "longhair" at the end (e.g., Oriental shorthair and Oriental longhair).
BUT! there are several breeds that don't follow this.

Today marks Mochi’s 2 year adoptiversary! He’s been an official family member for 2 years 🎊 He’s one happy, well loved bunny! 🐰
Best of all, I’m *very* pleased to report that after a year & a half of trying just about everything short of a Jackson Galaxy visit, he seems to have stopped inappropriately peeing! 🎉 We ordered a sensor that goes off anytime he crosses in front of the trash can which was one of his spots. In the other spot we put an LB (litter box). He still uses the main LB but he will also use the new location, as well as the giant flower pot on deck 🤦🏼‍♀️😄 Perhaps he just wanted his LBs to be Feng Shui since he is part Japanese Bobtail. Whatever it was, he’s been a good bunny for several months now. It’s a miracle! 🎊🐰🎊
In addition to his office job & his job at McDonald’s (that he took to help pay for the hardwood flooring that we put in due to his Bad Bunny behavior), he’s also taken part time gigs as a dishwasher & a security bun. Twice a day he makes sure to clean both his & Bushy’s food dishes. No wonder he sleeps so much when he’s not busy running security out on the deck 👀
We are all so blessed to have found our little Space Bunny Mochi 2 years ago today 🐰🥰
Please help us celebrate by following our Bushy B. page on fb 👇🏼

Ancient Greek híppos, Latin equus, Irish each, and Icelandic jór all mean 'horse', and Spanish yegua and Romanian iapă mean 'mare'. They're very different, yet they ultimately stem from the same Proto-Indo-European word. They drifted apart due to the sound changes they underwent.
What would their modern English, German, Dutch, French and Italian cognates look like if they had survived? I tell about it on my Patreon.
