Opened Pokémon X for the first time in nearly a decade specifically so I could check on a Deoxys that my friend at the time traded to me.

It occurred to me now that he must've gotten it from ORAS's Delta Episode, which is very post-game... I'm not sure if it was intended that I kept it but I really don't feel bad for keeping it...

#He also traded me an event Meloetta and Shaymin.#And an Adamant Metang.#X and Y were already easy enough games so I never used any of them to battle with.#Since I opened the game I decided to go and catch Zygarde and Mewtwo as I'd really really only done the bare minimum in this game.#My PC boxes are a barren husk containing more copies of Gastly than unique Pokémon.#The only Pokéballs I had were ones I'd obviously picked up as random items from the ground—#—because not only did I have no Poké Balls or Great Balls but—#—as far as unique catches go I only owned 15 Pokémon in total.#No wonder I don't remember anything about this game. I must've really not given a fuck.#My character was very dressed-up though. I remember grinding money to buy clothes.#Also I don't know why Deoxys here is in Attack Forme and if I influenced that or not.#Attack Forme is cool but I don't like how much it peels back its chassis...#Its core is too exposed...#I think I must've made the change because when I opened the game I was in Ambrette Town—#—which apparently is where you can change its Formes.#I think ideally I'd put it in Defense Forme and teach it Trick Room. Though I'd need to see how low its speed actually is in Defense Forme.#I also think Defense Forme has a lot of swag.#Any design that is big and bulky has maximum swag to me but we all know this...

pushing up my glasses, the ever-changing numbers of hwinfo64's cpu temperature sensors reflect in their glare. i chuckle softly to myself like i have any real understanding of what the fuck these mean

#finally dusted the inside of my pc case after almost 3 years #i think these numbers are good. none of the maximums exceed 55 degrees celsius so........ whatever!
