Just once I would like a Peter stuck in Gotham story where Tony gets dragged along with him for the ride.

Like they drop down and Tony is like

“Not an ideal situation, good news is we’re not dead. Bad news that looked like a one way trip for us. We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. Now we should focus on short-term goals: food, water and a place to stay, everything else can wait.”

I want Tony to be out there working his ass off from helping people with broken items then getting a job at wayne enterprises and starting a technology revolution in this dimension because he just can’t stand how out of date everything is and then running to pick up Peter from the rich kid school and the two of them trying to do reconnaissance and failing miserably.

Peter for his part is having a great time with school and his new vigilante gig.

Peter’s vigilante friends in school are worried about how bruised Peter looks sometimes and think that Tony is abusive before breaking in and just hearing Tony being a mother hen.

Then one breakout things are not looking too good and Spider-man just says

“Karen, activate Papa Protocol.”

And then like ten minutes later in comes Ironman with a bone to pick with the rouges.

Bruce doesn’t know if he loves Tony or hates him but his kids find him hilarious.

I love how extreme found family is in one piece. Like they took supernatural line of "Family don't end in blood" and actually made good on it. Because it's not just that the crew found each other even before that only really very briefly Robin, Usopp and Luffy could say that anyone biologically related to them raised them.

Like Luffy had Garp and that's his grandpa but he also had Makino and Shanks and the red hair pirates and they were a family unit and he also had Ace, Sabo Dandan and the bandits and they were a family as well and it's never who mattered more to Luffy or who actually raised him cause they all did. It'd be hard to put him in a nuclear family structure because so many people fill the same roles in his life in different ways and that's great like Kung Fu panda said "that doesn't mean less for one parent it just means more for Luffy"

And that's the thing I think sometime fandom can get very obsessive with trying to pin down who is whose surrogate father/mother how do they fit in the nuclear family structure and while that's fun and there's nothing wrong with head cannon characters that way I also think it's important to remember that not every relationship needs a title or definition sometimes you are just family and that's valid too.

Ace had Luffy and Garp but he also had the whitebeard pirates and his pops same with Sabo and the revolutionaries

Zoro with Kuina and his old kendo master, that was maybe more of a rivals, mentor mentee relationship than whatever Mihawk Zoro and Perona had going on but it's all family none the less.

Chopper with Hiririluk and Kureha. Perona and Moria, Usopp with the little village boys and Kaya. Shanks and Buggy with the Roger Pirates. They might not all have had defined roles with each other but it was still family.

Just like Sanji, Nami, Franky and Law and their more defined Surrogate familes

And people like Vivi Robin Usopp and Shirahoshi who had/have their biological parents/family that love them and raised them.

It's nobody that I've just mentioned properly fitting squarely into any of these categories because it's all complicated family is complicated and its messy and it's big and everyone in your family might not have even met but it's family and it doesn't end in blood and for some people it never started there either.

Listen love unhinged Peter and concerned as fuck Tony getting a taste of his own bad decisions.But unhinged Peter unhinged Tony is an unrecognized concept.

I need Peter making flaming web slingers and Tony joining in (partly to make sure he does it semi safely, and partly if anything goes wrong his body’s fucked up enough he could handle a few burns if Peters safe). Peters chasing down a drug ring? It’s not a school night and he has nothing he needs to do. Coffee at 3am? Hell yeah he’ll order take out, sleep deprivation is rad.

But also like he knows from personal experience that stupid people are gonna be stupid, but it’s safer to be stupid together. If he stop em might as well join em. Hes like Peters Rhodey, down to be stupid but one of them gotta have some sense of safety.

Bolts upright at 3 am in a cold sweat: What If-

Young Avengers/ Champions (whatever the mcu calls this team) goes back in time to prevent the disasters of the last 12 years.

First up is the first Marvel baby to be introduced: Cassie Lang

Cassie is taken in by Dr. Janet van Dyne after Scott and Hope are dusted and her other parents are killed in a car accident during the Snap.

Given that the world went to hell, she finishes the bare minimum of her high school education online and is accepted in UC Berkley (they desperately need student tuition) where she majored in Physics. Although she is incredibly smart and does well on tests and such, she is putting in the bare minimum as her main priority is her work with Dr. van Dyne.

After learning that Scott was in the Quantum Realm when the Snap happened, she desperately tries to get in there and save him. While she can't (because he was dusted), the heavily modified events of Quantumania occur in roughly 2021/2. She returns and devotes all she has to figuring out time travel. When she finally does about a year later, she takes it to the Avengers.

Janet convinces her to combine some of her tangential research into the Quantum Realm (not time travel specifically but some of the more believable stuff around it) to Dr. Foster, and the two help her get her PhD in quantum physics without doing a Masters.

While the Young Avenger's team is formed during the Snap and she was approached about it, she doesn't officially join until after. Cassie is closest with Riri who is a fellow STEM kid and worked with her and Dr. Stark on the Time Machine.

it’s so surprising to me that so many interesting characters in fnaf have so little content made for them. everette larson (or is it spelled everett? i can never tell), the stitchwraith/andrew and jake (outside of toysnhk debates), lucia (she literally defeated the fucking mimic!!!), tony becker (a friend gregory’s age? that gregory may have killed? hello????), phineas taggart (man who literally gave us emotional energy research [AGONY!!!!]) and doctor talbert (man who literally gave us REMNANT EXPOSITION), so on and so forth. i understand not everyone reads the books but it’s still crazy how like none of these people are ever mentioned by like the general fanbase

I can understand Tony in the moment losing his mind over the winter soldier having killed his parents.

But like, I also think it’s insane that he thought his “friendship” with Steve is even remotely close to the same level as his with Bucky.

And also Bucky was innocent so…

May’s shoulders fell. “Tony, of course you can’t bring them back. That’s not the way it works.”

“I’m Tony Stark.”

“You’re a person. Just a single person.”

She sat down beside him and took his hand. “I wouldn’t have let you hide away up here if I knew this is what you were doing.”

“What did you think I was doing?”

“Building batteries for other cities? I don’t know.”

Tony snorted. “You assume I’m not selfish.”

May shook her head. “You’re not.”

“I’m Tony Stark.”

She turned her face in his direction. “You assume I don’t know anything about you.”

Tony turned to her as well. He raised an eyebrow. “Read the tabloids, do you?”

“My- my son was your biggest fan.”

Tony flinched like she’d slapped.

“No- no, don’t do that,” she scolded. “Don’t hide away like it’s your fault. Whether he was in outer space or not, it clearly wouldn’t have made a difference. At least he wasn’t… at least he wasn’t alone.”

Tony stared out across the half destroyed lab with a miserable look on his face.

“He was your biggest fan,” she continued in a soft voice. “He read all your papers. He built his own Iron Man helmets and gauntlets. He entered science fair after science fair. I know so much about you Tony, because my kid knew about you.”

She wiped her tears away and sucked in a deep breath. “So, don’t lie to me and tell me you're selfish when I know you’re a good person.”

“We lost.”

“So you’re going to give up on everyone else? I don’t know about the others, but Pete- Pete would be out there in his silly little onesie stopping the gang violence and saving people from starving and the cold and the depression. He wouldn’t give up. And if you do… he’d be disappointed in his hero.”

Tony banged his head against the wall. “That’s a low fucking blow,” he told her, throat wrecked from suppressed tears.

“I lived with a teenage vigilante. I know how to get through to self-sacrificing idiots.”
