A set of scrunchies I made for a work secret santa (to be joined with a tote bag and some nice hand cream). IMO of all the sewn gifts you can make that are 'universal' gifts, scrunchies are definitely in the top 3 for usefulness and ease of making. No one asks for a pillowcase or book cozy, but a scrunchie can be great!

The last month has been really crazy but it's so nice to make something little and easy!

Late posting: For Halloween I was the Starbucks green slime cup that was impossible to find/buy because scalpers are scum on earth that deserve all the pain possible.

Some progress pictures of the hand sewing and slapdash beading of pearls and sequins. The drip effect was done with acrylic paint. Originally meant to include a straw but this worked for the time being.

My most recent project was the Laguna shirt by Tropical Research. I should have looked up how to do the sleeves with French seams because I guessed and guessed wrong, but I still really like how it turned out!

Truly, inflation has me making clothes out of the silliest things imaginable, but I refuse to give up sleeping comfortably in the name of saving money.

There are so many little things you can do to make extra comfy pjs for cheap, and you'll find those techniques in this vid!
