I prepared my weapons (chose my yarn, needles, and pattern) readied my soldiers (stretched out my hands, rolled out my shoulders, and picked a show to watch) and fought the small fights (purling through the back loop, reading past pattern mix-ups) to get to the bigger ones (joining in the round, doing ktbl for the ribbing, splitting for the sleeves) and now that I have fought the battles, it is time to win the war (work the fucking BODY OF THE SWEATER)

finally, after owning my 3ds for just on 7 years now, i've figured out how to get photos from it onto my laptop without nagging my dad to help me. all but the first two and the one with marty are from 2016-2019. look at my little villager! little mikey loved hats and sweaters and coats more than anything money could buy.

saw some posts about bilingual caretakers and it reminded me of how before i got medication i had really bad migranes that lasted for days accompanied with frequent vomiting and my bf would just talk to me in slovakian and i didnt understand a word but it was super comforting just listening to him talk and not having to think about anything...anyways thinking that might be something for a whump scenario

hi!! thank you for asking :) ive got a handful of other asks to answer but i figured I'd go ahead and respond to this one because I've got a pretty big following on that account and you guys deserve an explanation.

in all honesty, ive gotten pretty overwhelmed with it over the past two months and the pressure to respond to all the asks kinda got to me. i decided it was for the better if i just let it go—i had a lot of fun with that blog though, all you guys were super nice and ive never had that kind of community before :) besides, my fixation on scott pilgrim has somewhat faded out. i may revive it for a post or two here and there for a holiday but for now it's on an undetermined hiatus.
