“Can I be half-orc, half-minotaur?” Keith asks. While Coran ponders the question, Shiro chokes on his milkshake. Lance also gags, but for an entirely different reason. “Eww, dude. Why,” Lance balks. “With the massive horns and the underbite? Snaggletooth much? That sounds hideous.” Keith looks indecently smug. “You could, lad,” Coran hedges, “but I don’t know about the Cavalier class, then. Not sure we can get you a mount large enough that you can ride.” “It’s okay. I’ll be a Warlock.” Keith taps out some more details on his player profile. Hunk approves immediately; they definitely need more magic-wielders in the party. “And, um, how big are minotaurs?” Shiro asks in a high voice, eyes firmly down on his own tablet. He’s trying to find the right section in his player guide, of course, and definitely not avoiding Keith’s eyes.

Shiro has a monster kink a mile wide and Keith knows it. Not even their friendly all-paladins Monsters & Mana game is safe, they all soon learn.
