seeing the minecraft movie trailer made me think about what it would look like if i was the director . so i made designs for the characters (and, steve and alex would be the main characters) . i think i would want it to be 3d animated with a style similar to tmnt: mutant mayhem OR stop motion animated

MINECRAFT DESIGNS!

Minecraft was, is and always will be my Nr. 1 fixation

I have never stopped enjoying Minecraft ever since I first got introduced to it by my brother when I was between the ages of 5 and 7 (I forget)

Even if I don't play it as much as I used to (I honestly need to get back into it), it's so important to me it's actually crazy

Yesterday I got the most random impulse to draw Alex and Steve and so I did (I'm gonna change Alex's hair tho)

I also drew the infamous Herobrine and 2 of the newer default skins (my favourite ones lawl- I am a firm believer Sunny wears a bandana and that it's not his hair)

And a brilliant idea came to mind and I am giving them LORE (better than the "movie" that's coming out ugh ew I'm really disappointed in that, anyway)

Everything about the MC movie trailer pisses me off but one thing that pisses me off in particular is that just normal Jason Momoa would've been a better Steve instead of Jack Black

I mean this in the best way possible but this actually looks like a man who is out surviving the wilderness and punching trees

minecraft “lore” idea: what if the villagers have last names based on their careers (i.e a librarian’s last name could be “Bookkeeper”). When Steve meets the villagers he decides he ought to have a last name, and following the villager custom of a last name being based on what you do, he calls himself Steve Minecraft.

I absolutely LOVE Jack Black to bits. Dude has a special place in my heart.

But this is NOT Steve.

I'm sorry, but I just can't accept Steve getting whitewashed in an official piece of media of this franchise. Steve has been whitewashed enough number of times in the fandom, but this is just abhorrent.
