when someone has a defined sneeze, not a quick cough-adjacent, or a rapid/small "eshh/ishh/tshh" type, a vocal, lengthy, defined one

think "hih'ttzshh'chiew!" or "hh'atchshew!" or "eh'rrschh'oo!"

one where you can hear each section, the breathy inhale (hihh-), the vocal release (tschh-), and the whining/relieved end (shhiew-!)

just something about getting all those parts in the experience, hearing the clear sections of a sneeze~

There are many problems with taking philosophy classes while listening to the Magnus Archives but the most annoying has got to be Jurgen Lietner. My professor will be teaching or I’ll be reading or writing something and my brain will just fill in the name there.

My professor asks about philosophers of the late 1600s and who do I think of? Locke, Malebranche, Leibniz, and FREAKING LIETNER

I’m glossing over a citation for a book and what do I read LIETNER, not Lieter (which is what it ought to be) but LIETNER

For some reason my sleep deprived brain got its wires mixed up and decided to place MR. JURGEN LIETNER in the same bin as all of the philosophers I need to know

It's 12 days into June, I am the only server selling it and I've only sold 2 so far as of today. I don't want to get fired (keep it PG), how should I sell this pride cocktail?

idk it sounds reasonable to me for a teenager to run away bc they didn't want to eat their veggies!

one hopes that by the later stages of childhood a parent will have figured out which veggies and preparation styles work for the kid, and the kid will have resigned themself to what they do and don't have to eat according to their parents, and it's all settled into an equilibrium instead of a daily fight. and hopefully as a teen your palette is expanding and you're even willing to eat more veggies then you did as a child.

however, if the kid is extra picky and stubborn, and the parent is extra determined to make sure they eat a good variety (or just eat whatever the parent prepared no matter what it is), it could absolutely continue to be a regularly-repeated fight. and if something is a continued point of contention throughout childhood then it absolutely makes sense for a teen to go FUCK this, i am nearly an ADULT i am done being told to eat my veggies i am gonna prove my independence and make them realize i don't have to just sit there and let them boss me around!!

like, the childishness of the fight is exactly why a teen would run away about it.

Ali (as Brnine): [sighs] Yeah. Yeah, that makes sense. I'm in this until it’s finished.

Austin (as Gucci): Until it’s finished? [exhales]

Ali (as Brnine): Yeah.

Austin (as Gucci): Me too.

Sylvia: I flipped a coin, and I'm killing them. [Keith laughs]

Austin: Hoping that they—like at first, it starts with like, hey, I'll turn myself in if you give me access to the Unction goo I need to live. And then eventually some people just start turning themselves in. You know, someone has the idea that's like, well, they're not going to let me die in prison. If they are going to put me on trial, they'll give me the goo I need to live until trial at least. Now, will this, will Righteousness’ crew do that? I don't know, but I think that that just starts happening.

The daycare kids have taught Sun about a certain Tumblr holiday and the attendant has made a plan to celebrate.

A photo of the actual blueprint and sticky notes made for this drawing, the concept for the cardboard dagger and the paper I used to brainstorm Sun and Moon's written conversation.

Random process tidbits:

The blueprint was drawn on actual construction paper leftover from when I was a little kid.

The dagger is based on the coins Brutus had minted to commemorate the event.

I made 5 oopsie sticky notes when writing out the back and forth notes between the duo, such as the very first one where I accidentally used blue to write out all of Sun's message.

Sun writes in cursive as a nod to the animatronic's theater days. I imagine this dramatic bot was either programmed with or developed fancy handwriting for signing autographs.

I originally wanted to draw parts of the digital drawing in different styles to make this even more collage-like.
