Before You Play:

This legacy challenge is un-modded but uses a lot of the packs. Also this legacy challenge may have triggering or uncomfortable topics. So be aware this legacy is meant for people sixteen and older!

You're insane in the brain, your ideas for human advancement. Have interfered with your sanity. You seclude yourself in a science lab filled home. Thinking of a way to make sure humans. Remain the tip top of all living things. Little did you know that an evil alien whom you befriended. Had plans for an alien plant to take over Strangerville. You do as they instruct to make a garden full of bizarre plants. That starts an apocalypse in Strangerville! Realizing what you have done you have a baby through science. To carry on your family's legacy in case you don’t make it!

It’s not your problem, all you wanna do is party and paint. You move out to a trailer watching all the peculiar things. Going on around town you paint them. Being inspired by all the things that make your town different. Unaware of the dangers lurking in hidden places. You party with your friends enjoying your life. Till one day you have a hookup with someone who has black eyes. Soon you realize there an alien you have a baby. And all your carefree days are over!

You were born from another planet but live in a town. Where people are possessed because of something. An Alien from your home planet did many years ago. That brought on this strangeness, your parent doesn't care about the problems. The town is facing but you do so you build a sanctuary making contraptions. To try to help people who are infected and in need. You search garbage cans for things to recycle to make this town more green. Prosperous, more full of life but no one wants change. All the military and scientists have secrets that are hidden behind a locked door. That you aren’t brave enough to lock pick, but you meet a human. Whom you fall in love with you have children and raise them. To believe in generosity and hope that the town will be exhumed.

Once you learn all the juicy details you are sworn to secrecy. So, to distract your mind from telling them all. You go on dates, lots of them on a dating app. Soon you find out one of your dates is pregnant! You always knew you’d be a strict parent! Because of your attitude, but you raise the child/children. Spoiling them but teaching them manners how to be proper.

Lifestage: Young Adult 

Aspiration: Chief of Mischief

Traits: Athletic, Mean and Romantic

You are starting to go bankrupt, losing everything is a fear of yours. So, you write awful stories of the events in Strangerville. Then make bank off of people’s pain. You want to own an empire! So, you marry and have children, to keep your legacy alive. Then as an Elder you quit being a writer and become a businessperson. To pass down your billions to your children so that they may. Keep your family's fame and fortune going for generations.

Lifestage: Young Adult

Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy

Traits: Materialistic, Hot Headed and Self Absorbed

You're only a teenager; it's not allowed but you don’t care. You use your parents green to fulfil your every want and need. It becomes so bad your parents kick you out! Now you have to fend for yourself. So, as a Young Adult you have to get a job as a retail employee. You make it alright on your own, but you miss abusing your parent's money. You act out even worse than you did as a teen because of this. You go on to become a villainous valentine who ends up pregnant and alone. 

Lifestage: Start as a Teen

Aspiration: Villainous Valentine

Traits: Romantic and Macabre (Add Non-Committal as a Young Adult.)

Colors: Red and Green 

Career: Retail Employee

Goals:

-As a teen live with your parent sneak out, go drink and hookup.

A dream of making a very well-known cola brand. You work hard perfecting your recipes for juice fizzing. Now you sell them at a stall, and you make a large profit. You don’t need your family's money. You have made your own riches doing what you love. Making soda for everyone to sip and enjoy. You ticked that off your bucket list. But now still one thing remains children to carry on the cola’s legacy. So, you rush and marry have children. But soon as you're an adult. Your business is no longer your passion family is. So, you sell your retail store where you sold the cola. To provide an even better life for you and your family.

Traits: Maker, Creative and Ambitious

So, you make lots of enemies with people who try to fix the apocalyptic world. You control them by using a voodoo doll. The alien who started it all asks you to assist them by using a cloning machine. Hidden away in your old industrial house. Now the alien is satisfied with you. But they ask you to surrender yourself to it so that it can repopulate. Strangerville with more messed-up doctors who will keep the end of the world going. You agree and have children with the alien then accept your fate by the Mother!

Traits: Evil, Macabre and Genius

To rot after an experiment with the mother went wrong! Now that you've been warned, you can work towards reviving this sad town.

Discover what makes this place so apocalyptic. So, you find the clues and along the way. Meet people willing to help. To Bring good change for Strangerville and its townsfolk. You realize people have tried to conquer this “Mother” and have failed! So, to avoid you and your friend's death. You all take the risk and eat the bizarre fruit. To conquer the Mother Plant hidden deep in the depths. Of that creepy messed up laboratory! If you succeed, everyone's lives in Strangerville will be better!

Life's Little Twists

Hey, fellow simmers! 💚

I’ve always been obsessed with legacy gameplay—the drama, the storytelling, and watching families evolve over generations is chef’s kiss. But let’s be real, not all of us have every shiny DLC (and that’s totally okay!). Instead of wishing for more packs, I decided to get creative and craft a legacy challenge that’s bursting with personality without needing anything but the base game.

That’s how Life’s Little Twists was born! This challenge is all about leaning into the quirks, drama, and surprises of life while keeping things simple, yet full of heart. Each generation has a unique story and a little twist to keep you on your toes and make your Sims’ lives truly unforgettable.

And now? It’s time to put it to the test! In my next posts, I’ll be playing through my own challenge—since I’ve done similar generations before, I’ve added new elements that I usually don’t focus on (helping kids with homework, reading to them, dancing, painting from reference, repairing broken objects, and more). Just small details to shake up my usual playstyle!

Right now, I’ve planned 10 generations, but I’m thinking about stretching it to 26—because how cool would it be if every gen had its own letter? 🤔 Let’s see where this journey takes us!

Buck went from viewer to fan to mod for artist!Tommy's tiktok Lives where he makes sure the chat is a safe space and also posts questions for people to talk about - which also gives Tommy something to talk about, because he gets nervous talking about anything besides the technical aspect of painting, but he's trying to open up more (perhaps something he learned in therapy being: being open and honest and letting his personality out). so Buck asks questions and mentions his latest research binges, and Tommy always latches onto his ins and it eventually loosens him up enough that he's comfortable talking more about the peace and self-care aspect of painting and art, the beauty and introspective parts of it.

needless to say Buck is falling for Tommy the more he gets to know about him (and he doesn't even realise it yet..)
