Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure Preshow Makes a Small Comeback After "Indefinite" Closure

Since its opening in 2019, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure has been a great success. Not even a ten-hour waiting line was enough to discourage fans. The experience, which is 5,053 feet long (almost a mile), takes visitors for a thrilling ride around the Forbidden Forest, where they will encounter creatures present in the Harry Potter books and movies. 

While the ride itself still remains operational, many riders haven’t had the opportunity to attend the preshow before heading to the motorbikes. Before the journey starts, Hagrid and Arthur Weasley talk to the guests in order to prepare them for the ride. Or at least that was the case when the preshow was still open. In mid-March, a fan took to Twitter to ask Universal Orlando Resort the reason why the preshow wasn’t happening anymore. The company gave the following answer: 

Hi Adam, we apologize for any disappointment. This experience is currently not available, and we do not have information on when it will return, at this time. Please know, your feedback will be documented and shared with the proper Leadership Teams. 

Sources at Inside the Magic suggest that the preshow has remained sporadically closed because of the massive wait times. Adding the show back into the mix would more likely exacerbate the time guests spend waiting for the main event.

      Guests were convinced that the show would remain indefinitely closed. That is until one rider took to Reddit just the other day to share her surprise that the preshow is in fact still operating. 

Good morning y’all! Just wanted to update you guys that I was at IOA last night late on line for Hagrids about 9:55pm and they squeezed us in the room and had the pre show on! It was like I hit the jackpot. Very excited to see it and just wanted you all to know, it still exists!

Another rider shared that they were also admitted to the preshowing, but at a much busier time of the day but not when they went for “a night ride.”  The lack of consistency is giving us whiplash, to say the least. There has been no official word from Universal Orlando about any plans to bring the preshow back once and for all. Until an official word is released, we wouldn’t suggest getting your hopes up just yet.

Visitors can still enjoy the other attractions at the park, such as Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Flight of the Hippogriff, Harry Potter and the Escape From Gringotts, and the famous Hogwarts Express ride.

O clima da noite estava agradável quando decidiu dar o ar da sua graça no vision club, pois não era sempre que frequentava o lugar em parte por ter outras coisas para tratar e por ter alguém de sua confiança gerenciando o estabelecimento que era seu. Porém o japonês gostava de ir pelo menos uma vez na semana ou a cada quinze dias para ver o movimento e como estava funcionando. Não era um homem festeiro e da noite por vezes gostava de permanecer no refugio de seu ryokan particular conversando sempre sobre negócios com seus companheiros da Higanbana aproveitando um delicioso onsen ou no seu quarto particular na Okiya Abe desfrutando de um chá ou saquê enquanto ouvia Yoichi tocar o shamisen para no fim ficarem os dois bêbados conversando sobre qualquer outra coisa.

Nakajima Taro chegou com muita pompa em cima de sua motorbike acompanhando de quatro shatei que utilizam também o mesmo automóvel. Trajava roupas não tão elegantes, mas sim confortáveis como jeans, jaqueta de couro e os óculos redondos que era quase sua marca registrada. Deixou as mortobikes aos cuidados de seus outros empregados em frente ao vision clube antes de adentrar. A presença do líder inegavelmente chamava atenção sendo motivo para o caminho entre as pessoas do local abrissem gradualmente conforme notavam seu comparecimento. Sempre dando a recepção educada para com o kumicho afinal grande maioria ali eram da mesma organização.

Aparência do vision estava exatamente como se lembrava em todas as vezes que chegava naquele lugar desde a última repaginada. O cheiro forte de bebida e cigarro é perceptível e todos aparentavam se divertir como nunca e isso de alguma forma agradava Taro. O papo com quem cuidava do club em seu lugar foi rápido na sala privativa. Recebia um relatório semanal dos lucros, gastos e dos frequentadores e do que eles faziam dentro dali. Foi para o bar em companhia do gerente enquanto trocavam algumas palavras o mesmo servia uma bebida para seu líder que aproveitava para então acender seu cigarro. No entanto quando o fez olhou em um canto qualquer do estabelecimento e um par de olhos que lhe fitava chamou sua atenção; tinha a impressão de já tê-la visto. Soltou a primeira tragava levando o copo de uísque aos lábios mantendo seus olhos naquela garota.

Children who grew up from Village.

Breathing a long sigh, I close the book and look out of window. The coach keeps shaking and makes my thoughts messy. I notice the roads outside. The fields are less and be taken place by tall buildings. Closing my eyes, I rely on the chair. Just a little bit later, I can see Linh. Suddenly my head starts to broadcast a special movie when I have just thought about “Linh”. And if I don’t stop it, that movie can last hours, even a day, with kind of content like:

 “In a small village, althought it was poor, everyone lived in peace. That village is the place where Hieu, Linh, An. Bình were born and grew up together. After school time, “military base” of team was the ground next to Hiếu’s house or sometimes it was Hieu’s back yard because his house was the biggest one in the village and the backyard was as big as a common house ! There were thousands of games played on the small ground that Hiếu remembered. Once Linh opened a “restaurant” and they were so busy with it. Shells of mussel were bowl, foods were seeds and they had a special “ Pink string noodle”. Hiếu also remembered that Linh wondered: why its name is Pink string but in fact, they are yellow *(Note: In VietNam, name of  Cuscuta chinensis is “Dây tơ hồng” mean Pink string.) And Hiếu spent all afternoons to “google” the reason so that the next morning he could explain to Linh that: Pink string is named by story of old Moon man. That string was used to create the love between two people. What Hiếu recieved is just a compliment: “You are so excellent. You know everything like a professor !” and it was enough for him.

Hieu remembered when all of them were on the field, Linh always sang then An and Bình sang along. The field was full of music drowning the burning sunlight. At that moment, the time stopped and the only thing moving was Linh’s smile with the melody. If this space had been a picture, Hieu would have definitly cut it down and kept it in his pocket.

The first time Linh heard about a Got talent competition, Hieu still remembered the sparkle in her eyes.

- I want to stand on the big stage, wear a beautiful dress and sing once.

Linh said when plucking a Reed, pretending it a Micro then moved like she was on the stage.

- Why don’t you try participating?

Linh has seen Hiếu with her round eyes for three seconds then she laughed out loud:

- Me? How can I join in such a big competition? People there must be so talent and definitly better than me..

- But you are a good singer, too !

Linh stared at Hieu. She stared at him for minutes to make sure that was a truth. Being shy, she looked down when she saw his forthright face.

- You.. really think so?

- Yepp. Not only me. You can ask uncle Kỉ, uncle Lam, uncle Ba. Even little Tí said that you have a good voice.

Linh grined. The dawn made her cheeks rosy. One more moment that Hiếu want to cut down and frame.”

 The coach suddenly vibrate makes my head hit on the ceiling and the move stops. But the song still in my head. I smile. That voice has a strong power: It can make us forget the weariness and be happy, it also can make us flutter. At least, it works to me !

I haven’t heard that voice for over a week. After the afternoon we talked about Got talent competition, Linh decided join in with An, Bình. And of course, I am manager and director and everything else ! Actually, I was so happy when Linh recommended but I still pretended: “Hmmm.. I am a little bit busy this time.. I am not sure..” to hear Linh begged. I spent two days on searching for a suitable song, three days on practicing and five days on the video. In that Friday morning, I still remembered how happy my friends were when they knew they were chosen for the Final. From that Friday, my girls have gone to Hà Nội for a week. And I am on the way to the captal to see my “singers”.

 Located on the crowed stress and quiet near the practice room, my girls’ room isn’t loud and happy as I thought. Did they go out? I supposed to suprise them by appearing at their door without annoucing. But the strangely silence of the small room makes me nervous. I knock the door, someone is coming. That is Linh. She just suprises for a second then sadly says:

- Hello ! Why do you come here withoung saying me anything?

- That is it? Not happy when your manager come here?

I try to say something funny just hope that pretty face can be happier but it doesn’t work. Step to the room then I know what happened. In the bed near the window, Bình is falling asleep with tireness. An is sitting next to her. An scolds me when she just saw me:

- What kind of manager are you? You don’t even know your friend is sick !

I don’t say anything, just pull out from the bag some kinds of fruits which were cleaned. That is gift from everyone in the village ! They told me to hand delivered it to the girls. I take some apples, go to the table and ask:

- Tell me what happened.

Linh pulls the chair next to me. We talk as quietly as possible in order not to wake Bình up.

I stay in the bed of uncle Phượng’s house, wide awake. The story in this afternoon makea my head spin around. Going to Hà Nội for some days, Bình started to cough. Linh and An thought it was a sick when the weather changes, Bình usually gets that sick then it dissappears after few days. But the cough got harder and harder. It prevented Bình from practicing. Till this morning, Bình got a fever and had to go to the hospital.

I saw Bình on the bed, small and pale. The blaket gulped her. I saw Linh cried and An keep sighing. My head was like crushed. Taking the phone in front of the bed, I quickly search “ BRONCHITIS”, hope I can find something usefull. This competition is really meaning to Linh, An, Bình. As their manager, I can not stay and stare ! I speedly read: Virus… chronic bronchitis ..atc..

“Air polution?”

I stop at the sentence: “Bronchitis can cause by Air polution when contact to too many dust.”. Frowning. I follow the link and wonder: How can air polution affect my friend?

The first picture appears on the screen is a city in a thick fog. Wait ! It is not fog ! It is dust ! I read the informations below. Numbers appear: AIQ is over 150? What does “AIQ” mean? “Over 150″ is how much?

 “AIQ from 151 - 200: WARNING: NOT GOOD for all. Everyone starts to be affected to health, especially “sensitive” people can be more dangerous. All people should limit staying outside too long, people having matter of Respiratory shouldn’t go outside.”

Suddenly, a cold run straightly in my spine. Now I understand why such regular symptoms can be so dangerous to my friend !

 Turning off the phone but my head can help thinking about what I have seen and read. I try to get them out of my head by thinking about the peace in the Old quarter of Hà Nội, thinking about colorfull “Flower bike” on the Thanh stress around West Lake .. I feel a little bit comfortable and sleepy. I see my Dad. He is carrying me on his 81* (Kind of an old mortobike in VietNam). We are going through Kim Mã stress with many many big trees. I wonder if they are trees of giants, because they are so tall and huge. My dad just rubs my head and says: “Maybe ! You can find out where they are from when you go to the school next year, son.” I remember how I was excited to go to school. I am going to plant a big tree like that at my village. No ! My tree must be bigger and my friends have to admire me. Then Dad takes me to the West Lake, he buys me a coconut cream cinnamon. I happily take it. Suddenly, a hurricane comes. A huge grey monster appears. It’s even bigger than those trees. And each its step, everything is destroyed. Everytime it roars, a tornado of dust comes and blows. I just stand like a post and appal. The monster is getting closer. I hear my Dad screams. The ice cream in my hand has been blown away. Then I take off and fall into dark mouth of the monster..

 I wake up and be wet so hard. Thanks God it was just a dream. All of them were a dream: the Monster, the Dust, dark hole.. Everything is still in peace. My Hà Nội is still beautiful and there is no monster. I take the phone and turn it on. 6.00 am. AIQ over 150. Air polution… Informations are still on the phone. The monster might be a dream but Air polution in Hà Nội is not a dream. A little bit disappointed. But, I wake up immediately. My girls need to know this !

 The silence covers the small room. Binh gets better, she can sit up and eat a little soup. Linh is sitting next to Bình. An goes around the room with her hands behind back. I leer Linh. Her skin got darker, I guess the reasons are the sunlight and dust. I sigh and say:

- Now you know the reason why Bình’s symptoms get more serious. You can not stay the same forever.

- What do you mean “stay the same forever”? What do we suppose to to? Haven’t we tried?

An asked, a little angry and helpless.

- This is what I mean !

I pull out four Gauze masks and give them to her.

- I still don’t understand. What does Gauze mask help?

An says irritably. Linh explains:

- Hiếu is right. In this city, there is so much Dust and smoke. Everytime we go out without a Gauze mask it means we have breathed in the amount of dust. And that is why Bình got sick !

Linh stop for seconds like something just pumps to her head. Then she giggle.

- Do you guys remember the first day in Hà Nội? In the morning, I have a habit in the morning that: open the window and sing a song to start a new day..

- And you suddenly coughed so hard that you coundn’t sing. Me and Bình were in stitches

Then An describes Linh at that moment and everybody laugh.

- That is why we have to use Gauze mask when we go out. It will proctect us from Dust.

- And remember to wear it when singing in the morning !

Everybody chortles because of An’s joke.

 The silence has gone. My girls really know how to make life optimistic !

 - Now, we have to solve the biggest problem. What we gonna do with the Final next week?

I pull the girls back to the main issue.

They stop laughing. Everyone seems so nervous. Then Bình starts:

- Can we do something to warn everyone about air polution? This is the first time I know what is Air polution. All of us used to think Air polution is something that can not affect us. But today, I know how serious it is, for all people.

After Bình, we just keep silence.

Suddenly, Linh comes up with an idea. She signs us to sit closer.

Now is 4.00pm. I’m on the way back to uncle Phượng’s house and singing loudly.

Don’t even care about staring eyes on me or how bad my voice is. My girls are not kind of silly like I used to joke.

There are gonna be so many works next week !

And this manager have to be busy again !

Just a week before, I had been chased by a nightmare about a big grey monster and didn’t know how to help my friends. But now, I am sitting at a big threat and waiting for LianBi’s show. Linh asserted that the name of team must be combined of Linh, An, Bình. So it is LianBi. I remember last week, If Ms. Mai hadn’t been able to help, we wouldn’t have known how to unfasten that mess. The song tonight is a messager: If we don’t protect our Air from now, In the future it will be grey only ! Ms. Mai was so excited when I talked about our idea and recommended to help us build an amazing dance. She said: Sing and Dance are best friend. Together they can touch to your heart. The dance will use oxygen maskes to obsess audience about a poluted city in the Future. And we gave 200% of power, enthusiasm to make this performance tonight.

 I’m wearing my brown vest - the vest I only use on Tết Holiday or when go to a wedding in city. Im putting my elbows into the chair like a real manager on TV. Bình is sitting right next to me, she is wearing a purple dress. Her health is better after a week. But her voice is still weak and needs to rest more. “Im sure we can win” - I whisper to Bình. She smiles and nods.

We are still cheering for our competitors. The first dance performace is so hot and stunning. Bình agrees with me that those girls are so sexy and full of energy. I am quiet impress on  the next performance. That girl has such a strong voice. All of performance have been invested a lot ! But the performance that I’m waiting for is the third one. I clap loudly when MC introduce LianBi. The performance is so awesome with dance and music and light. Everything is so perfect! Just like what I imagined ! An big applause is given after the performance. The light of the stage makes sweat drops on Linh’s face twinkle. She replys cheering of audiance by a lovely smile. And at that moment, the only thing shines on the stage is that smile ! I hear compliments around. Not only young people but also adults such as the old man wearing a black vest, sitting at the fist row. He clapped so loudly and even standed up to clap when the performace ends. Everyone likes LianBi. Our team got to be win for 90% !

  Everyone likes LianBi, except Judges !

The moves are not definitive.

Have to be invest more on Costume.

Subject of the performance is more suitable for other shows like: Earth hour ..

The only good is the voice.

A constraint appears and replaces on Linh’s face when she hears Judges’ comments. I can not smile or happy. I thought we would definitely win.

 Me and Bình wait for our girls behind the stage. I tell Linh that I love their performance most and there were so many compliments at the sit. Linh seems happier. From the audience’s sit, the black vest uncle walks to us. He is the old man clapped loudly.

- Hello LianBi. You had done a great job. I really like your idea.

He shakes Linh’s hand and says.
