Beautiful Barcelona! Here we are arriving on a sunny afternoon! Seeing the city for the first time from our plane. Then being driven through the city with some awesome views to our hotel! In the evening we ventured out into the amazing night life and had a great talk with our taxi driver who took us to this amazing restaurant to try tapas!! So lovely! And then we got back to our hotel in a taxi! It has been a long journey with many forms and covid protocols and unsure decisions but what has made the journey so meaningful are the people who we have met who have been so wonderful. The British airways staff who printed our tickets and trusted us to complete some of the forms we were working on together so we could make our plane on time, the taxi driver who gave us such good advice and showed us some of Barcelona and guided us to an amazing dinner! The gentleman who took us from the airport to our hotel and pointed out some landmarks to us and struggled through his limited English to talk with us!! And the taxi driver who was so friendly and conversant with us as we headed back to our hotel tonight! Amazing day! #imthankful I can have a positive response to the question #howareyou and I attribute that to #jesus and #myfriends Folks continue to do more than I need and I'm thankful to be able to work through that with my #therapist who I'm very glad I opted to connect with along with a #behavioralhealth coach, #dietitian and finally started to connect with other women who have #multiplesclerosis I'm not really a phone call person outside of connecting with my long distance #bffs but #thisvirus makes it so I'm on the phone all the time... in the #grandschemeofthings it's minor compared to the many other inconveniences or challenges people are dealing with these days. I truly am grateful for the connections and the ways we can adapt to being constantly inside like a #minitrampoline 🙃 and #manualtreadmill 💪🏽more cards from my #coworkers 💜 yummy new #chocolate 🍫 and a #poetrybook I've been waiting to read 📚 (side note isn't the cover art amazing?!) ➕ the many items not pictured like virtual Bible studies and fellowship groups, fun lit based gifts, even a comfy new pillow! Don't underestimate the power of your presence in the lives of your friends.
