Why did gojo and geto never say I love you to each other during their school years? So much could have been prevented if they confessed:(

also gege is kind of realistic about the way he writes his world. considering the time stsg were teenagers, if they were queer, the odds of them actually confessing to each other were low. in canon, kirara and hakari seem to have a hard time with conservative old heads, and it's 2018 for example,

aside from that, it's not all that common to say i love you (very seriously) in japan either. ppl tend to show it.

I think I've made my final chapter split for the Session 2 intermission ("Emblems" off from "Night Guard")- Honestly I never expected to be this far ahead in the buffer this early in the year and I want to share.

Just wrapped up "Emblems" this weekend at 17k words and... I'm exhausted. That's Part 2 of 3 of that scene :'D Might move some to a later chapter, idk- The problem with setting a mood is that it's awkward not to keep it all in one.

"Night Guard" is a completed draft at about 8,500 words (No missing scenes, but it needs to be tidied and/or expanded on)... Might move a scene from "Flowers" into there. "Flowers" is at 12k right now with 19 segments to go, "Poison" at 10k, and "Honey" at 11k. I should be able to finish them in a few more weeks, and then - minus revisions - I'll be done writing Dog's Life for probably a year :')

I've been working really hard on this 'fic lately - Pretty much every bit of free time apart from two weekends of Pokédex grinding - and I'm glad to see it come together!

I'm just excited to have some guaranteed things to post when I go back to school in the fall. This arc and "Chalaza" both turned out longer than expected and I've been clawing at the ever-moving goalposts for weeks. Nice to see my efforts paying off... The end is in sight. You have no idea how much marking "Night Guard" as "Ready for revisions" means to me, ahaha...

Me, training a new employee after bracing myself once again: Okay, if the amount paid does not match the original quote, check the following:

Is it over by an X amount? Then they added X service. Good to report but note the added service.

Is it less than the amount quoted? Subtract Y expenses from the amount quoted, then divide the remainder in half. If that matches, then they’re paying for the Z half of the service. Good to report but note they only paid for the Z half

Did you do the above and it’s still not right? Does it match if you add X service after dividing? Sweet, they added X service to the Z order. Good to report but please note the order specifics.

Still not right? ~SIGH~ do the above math again but divide the original quote in half, which includes the Y expenses. If that matches, then someone messed up the math when preparing payment. Good to report but note that a refund may need to be issued for the payment towards Y expenses if they don’t move on to the next stage of the service.

…..and if the math matches only in the event the X service was also paid in half, then report as usual but let the client know they need to pay the rest of the X fee to continue as the entirety of the X service is completed in the Z portion of the order.

Why don’t we have a spreadsheet? The amount quoted is dependent on specifics of A, B, C, and D, which makes each quote unique to the individual client and thus we can only confirm the service ordered by doing the math ourselves.
