Caregiver Ava Starr Hcs

I’m SUPER hyper fixated on her character rn soooo

Ava is 100% a clingy caregiver. Since most of her life she really couldn’t touch people without phasing through them, I feel like she needs that type of comfort from her little. In public? She’s holding your hand, with the team? She has her arm around you, no matter what something of hers is always touching you.

She’s got that strength so she definitely holds and carries you EVERYWHERE if you get tired

“Awe what’s that matter baby? Oh your legs are tired? Hmm.. you want mommy to carry you? Yeah come here I’ve got you”

Will start fights with anyone who even looks your way. Imagine walker being weirded out and confused at first, all it takes is Ava look at him and he gets scared.

If you love her accent (we all do who doesn’t) she’ll talk for hours just about random stuff since you love her voice so much

“And that’s how I got my powers- baby are you even listening? You asked about it little love, yet you aren’t even paying attention silly.”

Calls you pet names like baby, little love, little ghost, princess/prince, good girl/boy

I wouldn’t say she’s the strictest on rules but definitely has them

If she’s on a mission she has yelena or walker watch you, she let you be with bob and Alexis once and that ended with yelena yelling at alexi and you and bob in a corner in time out

She sings lullabies. I can’t explain it but I know she does

Movie nights!! She plans movie nights with you in your guys room, she makes pop corn gets you soda and candy (she 100% regrets it later lol) and makes a fort with blankets

If you go non verbal she doesn’t push you to talk unless your really upset and she doesn’t know what’s wrong

“I know your so upset love, but you gotta tell me what’s wrong so I can help yeah? Can you use that pretty little voice for me?”

I've been thinking about it for a while, but the Mihoyo games fandoms are... Really less than courteous when it comes to spoilers.

I'm a loyal consumer of leaks myself, but I swear the fandom at large acts like everyone is - and not just is, but apparently should be.

There's been fanart in the HSR fandom regarding a certain character and a certain boss' relationship for weeks when not even the 3.1 main mission has touched upon it - because it comes from leaks regarding the future of the story. With the change in Genshin drip marketing schedule, it's quite literally impossible to find out who the new characters are officially because they're leaked at least a week prior and fanart (of course, untagged) starts flooding social media. There were also edits of the new 5.4 CGs everywhere as soon as the preload hit the servers, spoiling essentially everyone who wanted to wait for the version to, you know, actually be out.

Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but it makes for a very poor fandom experience when everyone acts like you're expected to follow leaks or you're the one responsible for getting things spoiled for you. It costs absolutely nothing to tag your leak-inspired or preload-datamined stuff as spoilers.

Hi friends, I have a few recs today! I wanted to put a spotlight on some under read beauties so if you’re ready to try something new, let’s get into it!

1. More Than a Footnote by @mooncello Rated M, 77k (complete) DeNiall like you never knew you needed. To be fair, this fic is probably the most widely read of the list but if you haven’t given it a try because of the Dev/Niall focus you NEED to. Heath brings these characters to life in 4D, giving them complex back stories and a deep friendship that sets all of my friends to lovers feelings a light. Plus, the boys playing matchmakers to Simon and Baz while at Watford is such a delicious side story you’ll love.

2. Beautiful Roaring Scream by @rimeswithpurple Rated E, 16k Snowbaz as circus acrobats a la cirque du soleil? And there’s gorgeous art to boot? Listen, this fic is so fun and sweet (and a little spicy) you’ll gobble it up. Come for gorgeous boys flexing in tights, and check out all the extra circus videos in the notes.

3. [Podfic of] Loot My Body read by @vexbatch and written by @stillmadaboutpetra Rated M, 25 minutes (complete) Podfic dare always criminally under listened to but this one is a work of art. Whether or not you’ve read the original (amazing) you’ve got to listen to the Podfic to be taken to a whole other plane. @vexbatch’s characterizations are so good, this Simon will leave you haunted in the best way.

4. The Longest Night by @ileadacharmedlife Not Rated, 1k pregnant Lucy on a quiet winter night. Y’all aren’t ready for it. The way Kay captures that juxtaposition of bliss and despair when carrying life. Even if you’ve never been pregnant, you’ll never be able to think about Lucy without thinking of her here.

5. Questions We Don’t Ask by @prettygoododds Rated E, currently 17k (WIP) don’t be scared by the adultery tags, not the WIP status. This fic is so sexy and engaging, the banter so good, the sec amazing. All of it will make you feral. Im frothing at the mouth just thinking about them.

6. Wishbone -c.g. By lacysdisaster Not Rated, currently 88k (WIP) ok, not Snowbaz, but hear me out. Have you heard Conan Gray’s newest single This Song? Click the link, watch the music video, and tell me you don’t want this in fic form. TELL ME. This story will suck you in and there’s some beautiful prose to boot. Plus, I want this author to get some love because the comments are sparse. (The kudos are also mainly from guests, so interesting, and the author is also only on TikTok, help. I feel like such a fandom old lol.) Edit: @lacysdisaster is on tumblr so adding a tag!
