[id: A three-quarters portrait of a Chinese fem androgynous person, my oc Lambda. They are wearing an artistic interpretation of a traditional chinese opera costume, consisting of a purple robe, teal and green collar, and pearls adorning their hair.

Their robe closes in the center with a lapel embroidered with white fish. The fabric has ocean roundels and a geometric pattern weaving in between them. The cuffs have floral trim in lighter teals and greens.

Their collar, a yun-jian, is adorned with the same floral trim and all the edges are trimmed in dark purple. There is embroidery of goldfish on the shoulders, and white tassels hanging off the edges. Small silver teardrop beads trim the edges as well.

The character’s eyes are painted with purple eyeshadow, and a decorative dot known as a huadian sits in the middle of their forehead. Their mouth, with sharp teeth, is open, and their expression is neutral but rather intense.

Their face is framed by dark teal leaves and white tassels pinned in their hair, which is dark purple with lighter blue tips. It is chin-length and wavy, with two buns at the sides and curled bangs held in place by pearls. They have small white horns on their head. End id.]

You posted a while ago you wanted to answer/draw some asks so....

Who are the disciples of your lamb/goat? Names? Roles? How do they behave with the leader of the cult?

So, in order from left to right, there's Hejul, Annono, Thorgretre (Thorty or short), and Nagre

Hejul is the "Tax Enforcer". She focuses on money, trades, etc...

Annono is the "Loyalty Enforcer". He holds religious events and looks after the temple a lot. Her and Annono are often left in charge until Narinder comes back. From there, the three kind of run the place together in Lambda's absence

Annono and Hejul are Lambda's first two followers who end up becoming their best friends. Lambda will often go to them for advice or just when they need an escape from leadership.

Thorty keeps track of inventory, occasionally sent on missions to forage when stocks are low and crops are bad.

Nagre is the hunter. He helps keep meat stocks. He also enjoys spear fishing ✨️

Thorty is a supportive friend to Lambda. Also being one of their first followers, she watched Lambda grow into the god they are now. She admires their shining personality and their ability to stay positive no matter the situation.

Nagre isn't that close to Lambda. He knows a bit about them, but he's quite literally a lone wolf. He seems stoic, but he's definitely got golden retriever energy

Sorry if I didn't explain these super well, lmao, I'm really tired and tried to rush the sketches 😴

IT'S FINALLY HERE! much unfortunate circumstance and life stuff delayed it, but I'm proud of this, and I like to think it's worth the wait, all of the support and love I've received, not just for Zealotry but for my other work, has been what pushed me to keep going. (and I promise episode 4 won't take as long, sorry!)

Also I have to be this person sometimes, rb's are much appreciated! I'd love for as many rvb fans to see zealotry as possible :)

basically guillotine has a focus on .. heavy depression alongside suicidal ideation ..

and lambda is the idea of being 'cursed' with knowledge and disorders that play a plague on her .. carrds will be soon ......

I keep forgetting to post this acrylic painting of Lambda (and a "horse"); I'm still not pleased with it, but it's not like it's ever getting finished.

The earliest photo I have of this guy is from September 26, 2023; the latest, November 8, 2023. I never did finish it nor will I ever, because this painting completely vanished over Thanksgiving break from my school's art closet and I have zero clue where it went.

Apparently over the break there was a leak (rainy weather; the building had multiple leaks throughout the month) in the closet and there was a good inch of water over the floor, including where I normally rested this after working on it. So, in all likelihood, it probably got water damaged and tossed out. Funny how that happens to the painting of my very water/sea-oriented OC.

I am sad of course that it vanished; hell, someone could've stolen the thing. I'd rather it got water damaged and tossed out than stolen, honestly; fits Lambda better. But since I felt like I was going nowhere with it, resigning myself to the disappearance didn't mortally wound me. But fitting, I suppose, that the last time I saw this was a day before my birthday, and he promptly up and vanished and probably got water damaged.

Are there more snake people like Grindle? And how did they come into existence?

There are quite a few of the naga folk! A full naga is a full snake whilst Grindel is a half-naga, half-human. They live in the European, Pacific and Southern Caverns systems.

However, Grindel is quite special for where she lives. Within the European Caverns (the north-most cavern system), it is against the naga's culture to love another race. With the ongoing war that rages over their homeland between the harenoids and the molenoids, the nagas distanced themselves from the other races as they chose to fight over the cavern rather than help the residents who were being hurt inside it.

Grindel's birth was seen as a sin, a forthcoming of the bad times. Her father was a human travelling merchant who was one of the only who were allowed to trade with the naga folk. He had courted and swoon over Grindel's full naga mother, leading to Grindel's existence. The hybrid was mocked and beaten by the elders of the naga clan, and bullied by the others. This spite all boiled to the execution of the mother once Grindel was in her mid teens. She dared never to set tail back in that village again.

This has probably been said before, but if all local group seniors have symbols relating to karma, what does Boreas' symbol mean?

Not all of them do, only the first ten do (or nine, since the very first Iterator is diseased and Sliver is a sort of unofficial ,,replacement" within the symbol pool. her's is just an X without the circle encompassing it. important distinction). There's only 10 karma symbols in the journey to enlightenment and 24 groups after all.

The other 14 groups have more miscellaneous symbols that should be important to the location of the group. Group Alpha's senior, Sensible Inspiration, is for example this one:

Alpha's story as it is right now (a very rough conceptualization) ties to personal control of own inspirations - group of travelers that became the beginning of the group in old times had great ambitions and wanted to built just about anything and right away. They had to reign themselves in and redirect the inspiration to more sensible things in that moment. ...and some kind of symbolism with ,,wolves" (those have been in design queue for a good while now). Wolves as a play on ,,the Alpha" and more importantly for the sake of existence as pack animals, sharing in goal.

I didn't feel like marking him down, since he isn't particularly important. The Nine Karma Iterators are historically important for Iterator development, Moon is Moon and Sliver is Sliver they are always relevant and group Epsilon is the main focus of the ,,story" I'm making.

Epsilon's true senior is Zephyr.

Her symbol and therefore representation of the group is a snake, specifically a Basilisk, a creature reaching with its existence through physical and spiritual reality, native to the group's location. Its venom is the only known substance capable of killing the Rot. (since mythologically the Basilisk is so venomous that its tracks, breath, words and sight kill as well)

Zephyr was however deemed a failure after the start up went wrong, so Boreas picks up the mantle of a senior even though his mark isn't so related to the importance of the group's location.

His is a ,,general" promise of love and safety. Whether it is supposed to mean that he's a sort of a ,,personification" of protective love or a some sort of result of it or that the Anemons promised him that by tattooing the thing on his forehead... well plasticity is a good thing, isn't it.

(Lightly related tangent) The line going from the symbol and between the eyes is inspired in-universe by Moon and in Epsilon it is recognized as a symbol of the Anemoi Iterators.

But also, Boreas the greek god carries around a conch shell. I heard he uses it to amplify his winds. This is where Blessing's symbol was born and the in-universe meaning was later added while working on Anemon evolution.
