Feel like I should start restricting my tumblr screentime because today I dreamt that I was back at school and had to hold a multimedia presentation but someone stole my powerpoint so I made this giant tumblr post with headings, bullet points, pictures and videos and wanted to present like that until people started adding on to my post and we coordinated an intricate set of reblogs that was now my school presentation

So they were, in fact, wrong about tumblr being the new PDF because obviously it's the new PowerPoint?!

there’s gotta be a name for the phenomenon where you wanna do one little thing that’s not worth learning a whole new skill set for so you bootleg another skill set but then you keep needing the new skills so you just are doing something in the most convoluted way possible bc at this point you are way more efficient doing things the wrong way but it cancels out so you keep doing it

Please I am begging you: if you are doing graphic design for something, anything, PLEASE don't send over a PowerPoint document. At least save it as a PDF or something so the designer receiving your work isn't baffled at being sent a PowerPoint file
