Finally completed the #hasegawa #Macross #valkyrie kit VF-1J It looks good all in one piece. But I can see little stuff ups that I have done. Which means I know where I can improve in my works. The little bit of weathering I was talking about can wait. I still need a few more things to work out first. But in the end. Good or bad it's basically done. Will take a picture of this with one that I finished last year. Sorry that it's been a while since I have posted. I have some big family issues that needed to be worked out. So am back again Today I am hopefully going to get time to prime the #Andromeda and I am going to use the #AK_Interactive black primer ago. And should most likely take 2 goes as I need to do the top and bottom separately. But I finally given it a proper check and all seamlines are gone. And I am not going to use the lighting feature on this as the only time that I am going to use it is when I finish it. Been awhile since posting. Just had some big family things to start sorting out. But here is where I am up to with the #starblazers #Andromeda #bandai kit. The maun body is now ready for priming. I first sanded it down with 400 grit then wet sanded it with 600 grit paper. Which hopefully has gotten rid of any surface imperfections. I have started working on the canons. Which will require a bit more cleanup before I am happy with them. But have to love the 80's feel of this kit. More #work_in_progress on the #hasegawa #Macross #valkyrie kit Finally the planel lines are being done. I use the #AK_Interactive PNL wash. I find that it is thin and gental enough to go into all the lines and also after letting it dry for about 30 minutes that I can just wipe off the excess with a paper cloth. Looks nuce so far. But you can see where that I have applied to much paint to but still it looks alright so far. More #work_in_progress on the #bandai #GundamBuildFighters R-Gyagya #hgbf kit. Nothing fancy. But seeing how the steel arms look with the small inner frame that seems to be part if the kits. Only hassle is the little scratches that I have noticed on it frim being stored with the other parts. Next to work on the other steel parts using #AK_Interactive extreme metals. Am not taking this build to seriously. As to many other things are happening in my life. And this is a stress relief. #plastic_model #plamo #scalemodel #gundam #gunpla

One last #work_in_progress on the #hasegawa #Macross #valkyrie kit Finally getting all the parts together. I need to do some clean up work on the cockpit glass or fixing is a better term. (#AK_Interactive Guazy Agent works wonders) and the black near the canopy due to frosting. Humidity can be such a pain. It is looking good so far. I need to just add the glass parts to the wings and other places over the Valkyrie and then some other things I want to try after I saw F-14 a while back. This won't win any prizes. But will look good with the other ones that I have. Just a random #work_in_progress from my bench. I have had to go back to old basics as my Aircompressor died last week. I have done everything by hand. So I pulled this #SeaFlanker out of my backlog and hand primed and painted. Not bad for not really doing hand painting for a few years. I had some PE for the Flanker but decided against it as they didn't suit the tooling of this older kit. I am going to paint it up as if it was a for runner of the Anti-UN from #MacrossZero before they got there #valkyrie versions. Final pictures of the #macrossfrontier #valkyrie YF-29 Durandal Sheryl Marking Was fun to make. But admittedly the stickers where a pain. And still wonder how long it will be before they peel off. But they look good for now.
