Alright I did it, I made an ask blog for Abiteth/Dante and my iterations of Touya/Dabi.

It's not ready yet so I'm not gonna tell ya'll what it is, because I might not even use it!!! We'll see.

I do kind of wish I could just start over with an entire new online identity but it takes too long to build something up, and even though I don't get much interaction anymore on my main socials anywhere, it will be nice to at least have my Airanke blog as a sort of jumping off point.

Today's Focus

12.16.24 - Happy Monday! I almost had a surprise day off!

Woke up for work, tried to power on my laptop and it lit up - it clearly had power - but all the screen did was flash at me. Never booted up like at all. An hour of fucking with it (because of course my first thought is that the issue is with me) and I call IT only to find out a whole batch of laptops are having the same issue. I put in a ticket, leave my phone number; got a call back a few hours later. It's a battery issue with these particular Dells and the fix for it is physical, but I'm working remote because my office is undergoing renovations until mid-January. Thankfully, I am smarter than the average bear, so to speak, and the lovely IT gentleman walked me through the fix so here I am!

Work - I sent stuff out on Friday that I'm assuming I'll get responses to, plus I left a bunch of press releases to read from Friday. I also know SJC needs help with declarations for one of her cases; this would be part of that follow up because I contacted those defendants on Friday about these documents. Other than that though, we're close to the holidays so I know the courts and everyone else are slowing down because of it. Pray it stays relatively quiet.

Background Noise - 1) Wrestling; I have the last hour of Collision from Saturday, then I'm continuing with the Joey Janela Spring Break series and trying to catch up on Marigold. Wrestling is good for watching when I have to do pedantic PDF stuff; extracting pages & reorganizing means a lot of waiting for stuff to load/Adobe to process my request. 2) DVR; I am still at home with dad so I'm going to have him put on stuff I can practically ignore - Steve Wilkos, After Midnight, news programs and the like. 3) YT; I am more than likely going to have videos on when I cook, and probably some slop when I take breaks from work in the bedroom to be in the living room.

I know, it's complicated - it's not actually as much as it seems.

Extras - Monday means I clean the catbox out from the weekend; I managed to get all my chores done but one yesterday, so I have a piece of glassware that needs cleaning but other than that I just plan on tidying up. I'm making a broccoli cheese themed meal tonight: stuffed chicken breast, rice & veggies. Then it's time for nonsense and unwinding; I'm hoping later tonight I have the energy to enjoy the Dua Lipa Christmas special I recorded.
