Polyamships is hosting #MultiamoryMarch2025

Multiamory March is a month-long event held each year, starting on March 1st and ending on March 31st, with a prompt for each day.

🎉🎉2025 marks the 5th year since #MultiamoryMarch came to our blog 🎉🎉

Once again we gather to celebrate polyamory in all its forms: OT3s, OT4s, OT8s, V-relationships, QPRs, sedoretus, and any configuration you can think of. In the spirit of this month, we invite you to create works in any medium using the prompts above if you need a little inspiration.

This year we have an additional 10 alt visual prompts for you to choose! Check out the links under the cut.

Remember our prompts are there to inspire you, not restrict you. You can also create freely or even use one of our prompts from past years we’d still love to see fanworks for if they inspire you better. If you use a prompt, please make sure to let us know which prompt you’re creating for somewhere on your post.

At us @polyamships and use the tags #MultiamoryMarch and #MultiamoryMarch2025 in the first five tags so we can hopefully see it. If you don’t see us reblog your post within a few days feel free to send us an ask to let us know, or submit it via the submit link here in case we’ve missed your post or the tags/notifications are being weird.

All ratings are welcome but anything nsfw/triggery should be warned for and behind a read more, as should very long tumblr fic.

I have a vision: a world where we can read about polycules and complicated relationships with four or more people until our eyes hurt and our hearts can't take it anymore.

Let me introduce to you: the 2025 Four or More Bingo! Thanks to a couple of suggestions I received last year, I decided to launch this event earlier in the year for more opportunities to write about those messy polycules.

This is a low-stakes, personal challenge. There's no penalty for not finishing or running late.

Cards will be given from now to December 31st. Fills can be posted starting June 1st to AO3, SQWA or tumblr forever.

GUIDELINES

Any medium! Any rating! As long as your work focuses on a relationship with 4 or more people, it's allowed!

All works must be your own and not previously posted. AI generated works will be deleted from the collections.

You may combine these with other events, as long as the other event allows it (examples are @polyamships' polyartober, lyricaltitles challenges, etc)

Small fandoms welcome!

Don't forget to comply with the community guidelines.

MEDIUM SPECIFIC GUIDELINES

Minimum wordcount for fics is 100 words. There is no maximum

Minimum for art is a sketch on unlined paper (figure sticks allowed!). There is no limit to the quality or effort you want to put in your fills.

Minimum for moodboards is a 3x3 grid (9 images individually or edited in one image). Maximum is given by the place where you decide to post. On tumblr, the maximum is 20 images, but on AO3, you're free!

Minimum for podfic is a 100-word fic. There is no restriction on maximum length or sound effects.

Minimum for fanvids is 30 seconds. There is no maximum.

Other mediums don't have a minimum. Do you want to make an in-universe magazine for your ship? A cross stich pattern? A sculpture? Go ahead and do it! I look forward to all the things you can create.

PROMPTS

The following are the prompts that the bingo card will be generated from. Send us an ask if you want a card, and if you want any prompts specifically excluded from it (you can exclude up to 5 prompts). Feel free to request a new card at any time through December 2025, even if you've already received one.

This year you can ask for a completely SFW card or a mix of SFW and NSFW prompts (this was a popular suggestion last year). Whatever card you choose, you will be allowed to blacklist 5 prompts from the list if you so desire.

Prompts are to be interpreted as freely as you want.

SFW prompts are not limited to SFW fills. If your story gets spicy along the way, there's nothing wrong with it.

Some of these prompts might seem familiar. That's intentional. We love big and complicated polycules at fourormore.

Q: So how do I get a card?

A: Send us an ask, preferrably off anon, but if you prefer to remain anon, leave an emoji to identify you by.

Q: How many fics do I need to write?

A: For a bingo, 5 prompts in a line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal). You can even go for a blackout (all 25 prompts).

Q: Why isn’t X allowed?

A: Just because.

Q: I don’t have a Dreamwidth account. Can I join?

A: Of course! You don’t even need an AO3 account if you wish to post only on tumblr.

Q: My work contains [INSERT WARNING HERE]. Can I still participate?

A: Yes. This is a CNTW (Choose Not To Warn) space.

Q: I don’t want to see [X] content, can you please remove it?

A: No. The only content that will be removed will be that that does not comply with the rules.

Q: Is this a fic only challenge? A: No, you can post art or podfics as well.

Q: Does the work have to be NSFW to qualify? A: No, the only big requirement is to have your blorbo be passed around amongst other blorbos, it doesn't necessarily have to be an orgy I suppose.

Q: Is there a minimum? A: The minimum is a finished piece. If you pass your blorbo around in 100 words or less, I'm impressed.

Q: Is there a maximum? A: The sky is the limit.

ATSUSHI HEADCANONS!!

Please don’t comment anything negative. I promise you, I couldn’t care less!

1) I think that they’re transmasc non-binary and use they/he pronouns!!! I don’t think that they ever really thought about gender until the agency and then they were like “Oh, that kinda makes sense for me…”.

2) Kyouka often asks if he can go into tiger form cause she finds it nice to lay against him like that! I like to think that she tried to ask for a cat and he had to tell her no and so she went for the next best compromise. Pros of having a tiger roommate I guess!

3) He gets scared easily in general but it’s even worse with horror movies. They themselves find it a tad funny that they could handle a lot in real life but struggle with it when it’s fictional. I like to think this was also found out from a movie date with Aku and Lucy!!

4) Speaking of those other two, I think that they are bi and polyamorous!!! And of course, dating both Akutagawa and Lucy!!!! He has two hands for a reason guys /j

5) He definitely has tried to make a good impression Chuuya. I like to think that Chuuya is kinda like an older brother to Aku and I think they would be trying their hardest to make a good impact on him. I also think Dazai would tease him SOOOO much for that.

6) He 100% has learned flower language and tries to continuously give flowers of love and admiration for his two lovers! I love the thought of him trying so hard to think of which ones to give each of them and feeling bad just in case they don’t like it. (They love it each and everytime)

7) Continuing from that, I think that he has acts of service and quality time as his main love languages!! I think that he would eventually warm up a lot to the idea of physical contact as well, but I feel like all three of them would be relatively awkward when it comes to it. Not in a bad way, just in the cute dorky way of “am I doing it right?” and it’s the simplest thing.

8) I like to think that it was kind of an accident that he confessed to Akutagawa and Lucy. Either he just one day kinda said something like “you’re lucky I love you” or he just kinda blurred out his feelings. Either way, I think both Aku and Lucy would be a bit shocked at first but then kinda just laugh a tad at him.

9) I like to believe that Kyouka also heavily judged Lucy and Akutagawa when they first started dating them. Like, of course she did with Akutagawa, but I like to think that Atsushi would just constantly be apologize for Kyouka always interrogating them both.

10) Atsushi almost always falls asleep when the other two are with him. He just finds it easier to sleep with people he trusts so dearly around.

11) I think Atsushi is half japanese and mexican. Do I have reasoning? Nope. But that is the wonderful things of headcanons!!!

So yeah!!! Those are all I can think about for now, but trust me, i’ll be thinking of more!! And i’ll be working on others too!! I think i’ll go through each organization and such!!! It is here! The inaugural event for FOUR OR MORE is live. A ficathon designed to get more fic featuring relationships with four or more people out into the world! Inspired by the Rarest of Rairpairs ficathon, this first event will run from August 15th to October 20th.
