LILJEGREN: I think just being more mature in some, some areas of the game. I feel like... when we play to our structure, we're, we're a good team but sometimes I feel like, feel like we get away from that too much. Um... it's a cliché, but, like, get pucks deep, uh, play the score. If you're up 2 goals, 1 goal, um, stuff like that, and I, I feel like we will improve on that. We're a young team, um, uh, we've shown progress all year, so I'm excited for next year for sure.

REPORTER #1: Why is it a challenge for teams to kinda play to that structure? (joking tone) You know, it sounds easy to us, you know, just play this way and you'll win, right? But why is that a challenge?

LILJEGREN: Um... I don't know, I feel like sometimes you get, uh... you wanna make a play instead of maybe doing an easy chip-the-puck-down play. Um... I feel like, you know, it's a hard league to win in. If you look at the best teams in the league then, they, they play very structured, and, uh, play pretty boring hockey, if you will, and then once they, once they break the teams down, they get kinda going and be creative, but, uh, I feel like you gotta start your games with playing to your, to your structure and break teams down.

Kirill: [laughing] He always wants to talk after losses. 

Female reporter: He says that he doesn’t want someone else to have to do it, [someone] younger. 

Kirill: No, I can talk too, if you guys wanna [chuckles]. But he’s a, yeah yeah for sure, he’s [a] huge guy on this team and he plays so many years in this league, you know, he’s older than anybody and played [more than] anybody in this team and this league. I think maybe Flower played more games than him. If you just talk with him one-on-one or when he starts talking in the locker room the whole team listens to him all the time, you know, everyone [is] quiet and listens to what he says and learn from him, ya know. Or one-on-one you can ask him any question about life or about hockey, whatever ya know, and he [will] help you. And he’s just so important for this team, you know. Especially for me too, you know. And he just helped me so much all these years when I came in the US, in Minnesota. Yeah he’s just a huge part of the team.
