the past few weeks haven’t been so great for me. i keep having setback after setback. what is the universe trying to tell me? i’m not sure, but i’m slowly trying my best to pull myself out of this and get better.

i’ve been thinking about starting a youtube channel for fun and to document my journaling process (esp. because i have a Big Personal Journaling Project planned hehe), and maybe also some random moments from my life to be able to look back & reminisce upon~ but the thought of doing so is quite intimidating and i am s h y so here we are LOL

nov. 10, 2019 // hello everyone :) i’m currently on a study break for a few minutes, so i figured i’d take the time to make a post of an old drawing and a pretty picture i took when i was in iceland over the summer! i’ve found that as i’ve gotten older, i’ve started to appreciate nature a lot more. there’s something kind of magic about standing at the top of a mountain and looking down at everything.

today is my last day of school! currently feeling a lot of emotions about it. grateful for the time i had, sad i couldn’t get more time, and maybe hopeful for next year. i’m going to be a senior in high school next year which is scary since i’ve been running this as a studyblr account since the start of my sophomore year. i’m still going to be active because i have a paid internship and am partaking in a (paid!) summer advanced class. i may have lost my job but i’m making up for it this summer:)

either way, these are notes from when i took the AP exam and here’s what i’m planning to do today:

work on training with my dog

work on my bullet journal (pics coming soon!!)

continue painting my theatre themed sneakers

finish a season of a show

play the sims !

Executive Dysfunction

The feeling of having to constantly fight against your brain, telling yourself that time is ticking. Time is dripping... no, flowing out of your hands. Not like water, for it would be unreasonable for one to believe that hands even had the ability to retain the water; but instead it would be like sand. 

It was doable for others to fill their hands with sand. It should have been possible for you to do it too, maybe just a little bit, but it just would not contain.

happy halloween and happy birthday to me~ 🎃🎂🎉💕✨

i’m in my mid-twenties. over 20 and under 30. the quarter-life crisis. 😅 although i try my best to get through every day, and i often feel like i’m falling behind, i think i’m right where i’m supposed to be. i know my worth and i know what i like. i deserve good things and i want to share them with others. i know myself a little better now, and i’m still learning.

Does anyone else ever go through moments where they have an important test or exam and have to study for it but they just cannot focus on studying and spend their time doing other stuff , like reading novels or watching movies or anything other than study and then they start freaking out about studying but that only makes them waste more time and in the end , they haven’t prepared for it at all ? ^ catches my breath ^ Or is it just me ?

So I have an essay due it 8 hours which I have only started now. It must be 2000 words, have 15 references and follow a certain format. Instead of actually doing my work, BTW this essay is work like 25% of my overall grade for this module, I have been looking at videos at how to make the perfect pasta dish or soup dish. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me??

The only way I could possibly have this done on time is if I put on Mario kart music and nobody can change my mind about it
