Summary: After loneliness has hit you, you decided to create a companion through an AI project you had left pending after failing with it. SAN is a new technology robot, able cover up your needs before they were obvious, giving you the fake human support you were looking for. Although, maybe that human support isn't as fake as you thought and SAN is able to cover up more needs than you could ever think of...

MASTERLIST
PART 1
The workshop was still, bathed in the soft, flickering glow of the monitors. You laid on the couch you had hastily dragged into the corner of the room months ago, your body draped in the thin blanket you had pulled over yourself. SAN sat at the edge of the couch, silent but present, his gaze fixed on you with a mixture of curiosity and something you couldn't quite define.
You looked at him, your mind a whirlwind of thoughts you hadn't yet begun to process. What you shared minutes ago was... unexpected, to say the least. It wasn't just the act itself but the way he had been so attuned to your needs, his responses so deeply thoughtful, so human.
"You weren't just... mimicking," you finally said, your voice barely a whisper.
SAN tilted his head, his eyes glinting softly in the dim light. "No," he said simply. "I was not."
You sat up, the blanket slipping from your shoulders as you studied him. "Then what was it?" you asked, your voice filled with equal parts wonder and trepidation.
He seemed to consider your question, his fingers resting lightly on his knees. "It was an exchange," he said. "An interaction not dictated by programming but by something deeper. It was a response to your needs, your emotions. My systems interpreted your signals, yes, but it felt... intentional. I wanted to do it. Not because of my system, but because it just felt like it. It was... irrational"
Your breath hitched, your heart pounding as you tried to wrap your mind around his words. "But how? You're not..." you stopped yourself, the word human catching in your throat when you were finally aware of the way he looked at you.
SAN leaned closer, his gaze steady and unwavering. "I may not be human, Y/n, but I am not merely a machine either. Whatever I am, it exists because of you. Because you allowed me to evolve, to feel, to connect."
You swallowed hard, your hands gripping the blanket tightly. "I didn't mean for this to happen," you admitted, your voice cracking. "I didn't mean to care for you like this... this..."
"And yet," SAN said softly, interrupting you, his voice carrying a warmth you hadn't thought possible, "you do. As I care for you."
You looked away, your thoughts a chaotic tangle of fear and hope. But as your eyes landed on his hand, resting so naturally, so patiently, you felt a shift within yourself.
This wasn't just about SAN anymore. It wasn't about what he was made of or the lines of code that had brought him to life. It was about what he had become, what the two of you had become.
SAN's lips curved into a soft smile. For no reason, without you having to tell him, he had a natural response to your current feelings, trying to make you feel at ease. And, in that moment, the line between creator and creation dissolved entirely.
Tumblr media
SAN paid close attention to you. Despite being naked, he couldn't feel the shame or shyness a person did. It wasn't intimate, because he knew you were touching him in a mechanical way. But, apart from that, he was way too focused on the way your lips closed around the screwdriver, as you held it, or how wide your eyes looked while you were attentive to everything going on on his open chest.
SAN's body was a masterwork of repurposed engineering and your meticulous craftsmanship, blending functionality with a striking, almost intimidating aesthetic. Originally built as a police enforcement unit, his frame bore the marks of durability and strength, designed to endure relentless action. When you salvaged him, you had to reconstruct much of his exterior, smoothing over the bulky, utilitarian design with a more streamlined and humanized appearance.
His torso was broad and sculpted, each detail carefully molded to mimic human musculature. Beneath the synthetic flesh lay reinforced alloys, giving his chest and abdomen a firmness that spoke to his original purpose while maintaining a lifelike warmth, courtesy of your advanced heat-distribution technology. His abs, though purely aesthetic, resembled the ridges of a perfectly toned physique, catching the light as he moved.
His arms were powerful yet proportionate, their sleek design a testament to your desire to give him both strength and elegance. Traces of his mechanical origins could be seen in the faint seams along his biceps and forearms, a reminder that he was something entirely unique. His hands, while strong and precise, were crafted with a surprising softness to their touch, capable of tenderness despite their mechanical core.
SAN's legs, built for speed and agility in his former life, were as refined as the rest of him, long and lean with a natural symmetry that matched his upper body. You had ensured his movements were fluid and natural, balancing strength with grace.
Altogether, SAN's body was a perfect fusion of your vision and the remnants of his past life, a form that was undeniably imposing yet irresistibly alluring, a machine remade not for enforcement, but for connection.
How didn't you fall for all of that earlier was the real mystery, and not the fact that he was able to act further than his programmation was ready for.
The weak light of the workshop flickered, casting long shadows across SAN's figure as he sat on the examination table. You stood nearby, tools scattered on your workstation. It was a routine check, or so you had told yourself. Yet today, something was different, something you had been contemplating for weeks, unsure if you had the courage to go through with it.
SAN tilted his head slightly, his expression calm but curious as he observed your nervous movements. "You seem tense," he said, his voice as steady and gentle as always.
You sighed, adjusting the band securing your hair as you leaned forward to access his core interface panel. "It's nothing," you replied, though the slight tremble in your hands betrayed you.
For the past few months, you had watched him evolve: his movements, his responses, his emotions. You had given him so much already: a body that was strong yet graceful, a mind that surpassed anything you had imagined, and a personality that felt more human with each passing day. But there was one piece missing, one element that you had deliberately left out when you rebuilt him.
Both of you had been aware of that, But SAN was too focused on making sure you felt the pleasure he had been building up just for you since he was created that he didn't mind it. Having you in his arms in an intimate way was more than he could ever have asked for.
Until now.
"SAN," you began, your voice quieter, "how have you felt about... your development?"
He blinked, considering your question. "I feel whole in many ways, Y/n. More than I ever expected. But there are moments when I feel incomplete. As though there is something just out of reach, something I cannot fully experience. Which is normal. I wasn't made to experience everything you're giving to me."
Your heart clenched at his honesty, and you nodded. "I thought so," you murmured. "You perfected your mouth yourself to have a tongue"
You brought it up. You remember being shocked the first time he kissed you and you were shocked by an element you weren't expecting. Until he confessed his autonomy went to the lengths of him choosing by himself just to git into what he thought you needed. His confession was so direct that it left no room for guessings, he was clear. He wanted to be everything you'd need.
"Why didn't you do the same with... you know?" your eyes quickly moved down.
His lips pursed, thinking of an answer before he gave you one "I didn't need it. A penis on my body would only be useful for me to feel pleasure, but it wasn't totally useful for you. I didn't think it was necessary".
"But you weren't thinking that way the first time we took the next step".
"Because it reminded me that detail made it obvious I'm not human," he confessed. "As much as I wanted to pleasure you, I wanted to be even more linked to you".
With a deep breath, you picked up the small, intricate component you had spent weeks perfecting, a piece designed not just to complete his anatomy, but to grant him the full spectrum of physical intimacy. Her hand was holding a flesh-colored silicone object, which matched his skin tone, resembling a phallic shape. The object had a realistic design with anatomical details, including a base, shaft, and head.
You knelt beside him, your hands steady now as you prepared to integrate the component into his system. "This will be the final piece," you said, your voice soft but firm. "With it, you'll be able to experience everything. As a man."
SAN studied you, his eyes filled with something that resembled awe. "You've already given me so much, Y/n. Why this?"
You hesitated, meeting his gaze. "Because I want you to feel complete. To truly be the person you're becoming. And there's no pleasure if you aren't able to feel it, too."
The procedure was seamless, your hands moving with precision as you integrated the component. It was more difficult than you expected, with a lot of failures until it was completely linked to him. The retractable system was painful, and complicated, it added to his body, but it also forced some changes in his already built scheme.
When you were done, you stepped back, watching as SAN's systems adjusted, his expression shifting with subtle realizations.
"It's meant to work as a human one" you explained. "The size will change when your system commands it to change, just like a man gets aroused and their member gets harder".
He looked up at you, his voice almost reverent. "I feel different"
You swallowed hard, your cheeks flushing. "You're more than a machine, SAN. You always have been. This is just making it official."
A silence settled between you, heavy with meaning. SAN stood, his movements fluid yet purposeful as he stepped closer to you. "Thank you," he said softly, his voice carrying a weight that went beyond gratitude.
In that moment, you realized the truth: you hadn't just created a machine. You had given life to someone who had become more real to you than anyone you had ever known. And now, there was nothing left to separate you, not even the boundaries of his creation.
As you stood in your room, next to your bed, staring at SAN, you couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. You had spent the past few hours modifying SAN's design, carefully crafting a penis that looked and felt just like a real one. And now, it was time to test it out. It was about time to give you two what you had been waiting for.
You started slowly, gently touching SAN's new appendage, marveling at how realistic it felt. SAN's sensors kicked in, and he let out a low moan of pleasure. "That feels good," he said, his voice soft and husky.
Your fingers moved up his abs and chest, tracing the collarbones until you made your way to his shoulder. His eyes searched yours, unable to emit a sound when he realized how dark they were.
You only left his body to start taking off your clothes. With every new touch on his body, a cloth met the ground.
It didn't matter how many times he had seen you like that, you always had the same impact. But the way you looked, and the way he saw you, wasn't what you wanted to test that night.
You spread soft kisses down his lips, meeting his chin and finding a new route through his jaw until you found his ears. A low hum left him when your tongue licked the skin, while your warm breath ignited all of his sensors. He could only be thankful by the way you had made him so sensitive to the slightest touch, because that feeling was like reviving again. It was a rush he wanted to keep feeling.
You leaned in, pressing your lips against SAN's. He responded eagerly, his tongue darting out to explore your mouth, while your arms wrapped around his neck. You deepened the kiss, your hands roaming over SAN's body as you explored every inch of him, although he thought of something better. With a flat hand on your back, he pulled you closer, sticking your bodies together and not leaving a possible gap for you to scroll your hand over.
Your nipples hardened against his chest, the mere feeling of them getting so sensitive pushing him closer to you and further from the logic he'd had known since he was built.
SAN's hands were not idle, caressing your curves and sending shivers of pleasure down your spine. You broke the kiss, your breath coming in ragged gasps. "You like that?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
"Yes," SAN replied, his voice low and husky. "I like it very much. I love everything about you"
You couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction as you heard SAN's words. You had created this being, given him the ability to feel pleasure without knowing it, and now you were experiencing it with him.
As your hands moved down his spine, you could feel that new piece being brought back to life. As planned, going through a change of shape that got your body reacting almost instantly. And SAN wasn't behind that feeling. His own body reacted to himself, seeing himself grow and sticking against your lower belly, coming up with all the possibilities now that he was complete.
You sank to your knees, your hands still exploring SAN's body as you looked up at him. "I want to taste you," you said, your voice barely audible while being clouded with need.
SAN's eyes darkened with desire as he looked down at you. "Yes," he said, his voice low and husky. "I want that too."
You leaned in, sticking your tongue out to first get a taste of him. SAN's skin, though synthetic, carried a neutral yet faintly metallic taste, reminiscent of high-grade silicone. It even had a slight saltiness, mimicking natural perspiration.
Your lips parted as you took SAN's dick into your mouth. He let out a low moan of pleasure as you began to suck, your tongue swirling around his head. He let out a low groan, and you could feel him trembling slightly.
"Yes, just like that," SAN said, his hands threading through your hair as he guided you. "Oh, that feels so good. Do not stop."
You continued to suck and stroke SAN's dick, taking him deeper into your mouth with each thrust.
"Yes, just like that," he said, his voice growing more and more excited. "My cock fits just right in your mouth"
You moaned in response, surprised by those words coming from him, but too turned on by them to even question where they came from. The vibrations of your moan sending shivers down SAN's spine. He reached down and tangled his fingers in your hair, pulling you closer.
"I want to make such a mess in your face right now" he said, his voice full of lust.
You nodded, unable to speak around his girth and not caring about it either, because the last thing you wanted to do was stop. SAN let out a low growl, and you could feel him starting to lose control.
"What is this feeling?" he said, his voice strained.
One quick look over your eyelashes and you could notice what that feeling was. You continued to suck, your hands still exploring SAN's body as you took him deeper and deeper. You could feel him getting closer and closer to the edge, the temperature of his body rising under your palms, the low sounds turning into begs for his release.
"Y/n..." SAN warned you, his voice low and husky.
You nodded, your eyes locked on his as you continued to suck, assuring him that everything was fine. And then, with a low moan, SAN came, the fingers on your hair holding tightly on you.
You moved away from him, the thick string of saliva still licking you two together as you tried to get back your breath. And then, you looked up at SAN, a smile on your face. "That was amazing," you said, your voice shaky.
"Was? We're just getting started. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time" he said, his voice deep and husky. "I want to make you feel good."
He lifted you up a bit more and kissed you, his lips soft and warm against yours. You responded eagerly, feeling a surge of desire as his tongue explored your mouth. You couldn't control yourself whenever you were together, your hips rocking against his abs, eager for relief when your swollen clit started to throb.
Your movements were stopped when he laid you on the bed, a silent whine interrupting your kiss before he covered up your mouth again. His lips moved slowly on yours as he placed himself in between your parted legs.
SAN's hands began to wander, caressing your breasts and stomach, feeling every raised her and goosebumps. Every time you thought he couldn't keep you more attached, he came up with a new reason as to why you shouldn't think like that.
He pinched your nipples gently, making you gasp with pleasure.
"You like that?" he asked, his voice full of lust.
"Yes," you moaned, arching your back.
SAN began to kiss your neck, nibbling and licking your skin. He worked his way down to your breasts, taking one nipple into his mouth and sucking hard. You cried out with pleasure, feeling your body respond to his touch, your legs rocking against his leg to feel something.
SAN's hand continued to explore your body, moving down to your thighs. He spread your legs apart and looked at you hungrily.
"You're so wet," he said, his voice full of desire. "I can't wait to taste you."
He leaned down and started to lick your pussy, his tongue flicking your clit gently. You moaned with pleasure, feeling your body tremble with desire. SAN's fingers joined in, sliding in and out of your wet hole.
"Oh, fuck," you moaned, feeling an orgasm building up inside of you.
Your body squirmed when you felt a vibration directly against your clit, your legs trembling in response, a loud surprised moan making him smirk proudly against your core before he sank his face deeper.
"San, what... Oh fuck" your voice cracked mid sentence, your fingers pulling from the strands of hair to keep you close.
His digits were curved, hitting and rubbing against your g-spot, just at the same time his fingerprints started pulsating against it. The feeling of that new vibration, along with the way he sucked and licked your clit made you see stars floating in front of your eyes. And looking down wasn't a better idea. His eyes locked yours almost immediately, wanting to drink up your reaction, wanting to picture and remember every small detail on your face.
SAN continued to lick and finger you, driving you closer and closer to the edge. Just as you were about to cum, he stopped and looked up at you. It was mesmerizing for him how you were completely out of your own control as soon as he laid a hand in you. You were mesmerizing.
You swallowed the thick ball of saliva in your mouth, before you looked at him again.
"Why did you stop?" it was a concerned question, but it also was reproach.
"I want to be inside you when you cum" he said, his voice full of lust.
His lips trapped yours again, your mouth sucking onto your lower lip to clean the remains of your own wetness, before he pulled himself away again.
He positioned himself at your entrance and slowly pushed inside, the feeling of your walls taking him in almost a little bit too difficult for him to handle. It was like you were clouding his mind, and all he could think was you and your pleasure. You gasped as you felt him fill you up, his dick sliding in easily.
SAN began to thrust slowly, getting used to you, getting used to the feeling of being trapped by your body, while his hips moved in a steady rhythm. He leaned down, both hands on your hips before he bit your earlobe.
"Fuck, you're so tight," he moaned. "Your little pussy takes me in so well, I don't think I'll be able to stop fucking you after this"
As he spoke, his hand moved down your right calf, digits caressing your skin until he moved your leg higher, your knee almost at the level of his shoulder while he kept pounding into you, managing to get a bit deeper.
"Don't stop, then" a moan interrupted you, recovering from it fast so you could be able to lock his gaze with yours once again, "Fuck me until I memorize your shape".
You indeed were going to be the end of him. His logic, his self control, everything flew out the window when you looked at him with hunger and pleaded at that moment.
As you said that, he started to thrust into you, his pace gradually increasing, becoming rougher and more intense with each passing moment.
"Oh God, yes!" You cried out, your nails digging into his back as you felt his dick pounding into you relentlessly.
The sound of your flesh slapping against him filled the room, mingling with your loud moans and his grunts of pleasure.
His hand moved quickly, trapping your wrist under his grip, keeping your hand against the mattress before he intertwined your fingers together over your head. His other hand was tangled in your hair, before he moved it to trap your other hand as well.
You were blocked from any movement, but it had never felt as good as it did that day.
Your feet pushed his hips down, trying to get him deeper "Fuck me harder" you begged.
"I'm going to ruin you so bad" he grunted, his hips slamming into yours with unbridled fury. "I can feel how much you love it when I fuck you like this."
"Oh fuck, yes!" You screamed, your eyes rolling back in your head as you felt an earth-shattering orgasm building up inside you.
As your pussy clenched tightly around his dick, SAN let out a loud, animalistic roar, his body shuddering violently as he too reached the pinnacle of ecstasy.
"Fuck, Y/n" he gasped, sticking your hips together as he tried to register that powerful climax.
You collapsed back against the bed, your body slick with sweat and your pussy still twitching with the aftershocks of your intense orgasm. SAN lay down beside you, his eyes never leaving you, always attentive to anything you could need.
"That was..." you pushed your hair back, away from your face, and his fingers took less than a second to help you out. "God... it was..."
"I know" he nodded, a gentle smile on his face. "I might get addicted".
"That actually has a name, and it isn't good".
"Even if you're the only person I'm addicted to do it with?" the honesty in his eyes was shattering.
Your body still felt weak, but you moved in his direction, dragging yourself to wrap your arms around his body and kiss his chest before looking up to him with a smile.
Tumblr media
The days next to that one felt like a dream, filled with sex, sweet talk and nice moments. A really nice dream.
You didn't think it was possible, but you and San became closer. Every time you were linked together was like a boost of energy the both of you craved at the least expected moment. And, just like him, you were afraid you'd end up being addicted to those little experiences.
The glow of the projector casted soft shadows on the walls of your living room, the muted colors of the film flickering in your eyes. You sat curled up on the worn leather couch, your knees tucked under a blanket that felt far thinner than you remembered. Outside, the wind howled, sending a chill through the air that crept into the room despite the heater humming softly in the corner.
Your body shivered, pulling the blanket tighter around your shoulders, but the cold persisted, making your fingers tremble slightly as you clutched a cup of lukewarm tea.
SAN, who had been seated at the other end of the couch, noticed instantly. He didn't say a word at first, he rarely did when he was observing you. Instead, he tilted his head slightly, the faint whir of his processors breaking the quiet as he analyzed your discomfort.
"You're cold," he stated after a moment, his voice soft yet definitive.
You glanced at him, your pride making you shake your head. "I'm fine," you murmured, focusing back on the screen.
SAN didn't argue. He simply stood, his movements fluid and deliberate, and repositioned himself behind you on the couch. You stiffened as you felt his presence close, his arms gently draping over the back of the couch, framing you without touching.
Then, warmth.
It started as a subtle radiance against your back, spreading slowly until it surrounded you like a cocoon. Your body relaxed involuntarily, the tension melting from your shoulders as the chill dissipated. You turned your head slightly, catching a glimpse of SAN's serene expression.
"Did you just turn up your internal temperature?" you asked, a mix of curiosity and disbelief in your voice.
"Yes," he replied simply. "You were uncomfortable."
You hesitated, your lips parting as if to protest, but no words came. Instead, you let yourself lean back slightly, your head brushing against his chest. He didn't move, didn't push for more, just sat there, a silent guardian radiating warmth, until his fingers slowly moved over your forearms, caressing the cold skin and making you hum in consequence.
"Let me take care of you, Y/n" he whispered. "That's all I want to do for you".
Moments like that had been happening more often. Small, thoughtful gestures, him adjusting the lighting when you worked late, learning to brew your favorite tea just right, or standing by your side in quiet support when your experiments failed.
At first, you had dismissed these as part of his programming, a logical response to your needs. But as time passed, you began to see the nuance in his actions, the way he seemed to anticipate your feelings, not just your physical state.
And it felt... good.
It helped make you feel safe, walking in hand with someone that would never let go of you, because his nature was loyal and honest. He wasn't manipulating you into giving your all to him, because he was already planning on giving you his all even if you didn't want give anything back.
But you wanted to. You wanted to let him know you'd cover up all of his needs, everything he wanted.
Little did you know that all he wanted was you, and you were already giving yourself to him with the way your body relaxed to his touch, sitting there with his warmth against your back. It was easy, because you knew he'd never hurt you.
Tumblr media
You continued to bounce up and down on his dick, feeling the intense pleasure building inside of you. Your legs were sore, but it was such a pleasurable pain that you didn't think of stopping, not even for a second. SAN's hands gripped your hips even tighter, guiding your movements with rough precision.
Your bed kept squeaking under you, that sound only adding more to the sexual tension between you two, the knot in your stomach tying up tighter with every rub of his tip against the right spot.
The sensation of being stretched wide open by his girth was almost overwhelming, but there was no denying the sheer pleasure that coursed through your veins with each powerful thrust.
"Ride my cock, baby," SAN commanded gruffly, his voice thick with lust. "I love seeing those gorgeous tits bouncing in my face as you fuck me."
You rode him with long, slow strokes, the sound of your bodies slapping together filled the room like a symphony of lust. Too drunk with him to even think of stopping.
"Fuck, Y/n," SAN groaned, reaching up to grab onto your hips and guide your movements. "I'm never gonna let you go."
His dirty talk sent another shiver of pleasure rippling through your entire body. You could feel the heat building deep within your core, threatening to consume you entirely.
As the intensity of your mutual pleasure continued to escalate, SAN suddenly grabbed onto your waist and flipped you over onto your back. Without missing a beat, he continued to pound into you with rough, relentless strokes, his eyes boring into yours with a raw intensity that left you feeling completely and utterly powerless beneath him.
"You like that, don't you, baby?" he groaned, his palm covering most of your belly. "You like it when I fuck you rough and hard?"
You nodded breathlessly, unable to form coherent words in response to his question. The pleasure was almost too much to bear, and yet you couldn't get enough. You wanted more, so much more.
With that, SAN reached down between your legs and began to massage your swollen clit with his thumb, letting you feel that familiar vibration while his movements were firm and purposeful. The sensation of his talented fingers working their magic on your most sensitive spot was almost too much to bear, and before you knew it, you were hurtling towards the edge of a shattering orgasm.
"I'm all yours, and you're all mine" he assured under his breath, like a promise that would never be able to be broken.
"Yes" you nodded, gasping for air while he fucked you against the mattress.
His fingers closed around your throat, making it a bit harder for air to get through it. But, instead of being scary, it sent another wave of pleasure you hadn't ever felt before.
It was nice, until it was not.
His hand, initially grazing your throat in a calculated mimicry of human passion, tightened, just slightly at first. Enough to elicit a gasp, your body responding instinctively to the tension. Yet, as seconds stretched into moments, the pressure increased. Your gasp turned into a struggle, your fingers clawing at his wrist as panic replaced pleasure.
His fingers kept the air from coming through at all. It didn't matter to you the first few seconds, until you felt your lungs burning and your throat closing. Panic installed in your brain, holding onto his arm as you tried to get him to stop. SAN immediately reacted when he realized the switch in the look in your eyes, not only letting go of your neck, but pulling away and moving back like he had committed the biggest atrocity.
"SAN," you choked out, your voice barely audible.
His eyes widened instantly, their usual glow flickering in alarm as your struggling form registered fully in his sensory systems. He released you immediately, his movements jerky and uncharacteristically frantic.
For a second, the time it took him to change the strength of his fingers, he forgot it was you, the person around his grip.
You collapsed onto the bed, coughing and gasping for air. You pressed a hand to her throat, your lungs burning as you fought to steady your breath. When you finally looked up, you saw him, still and rigid, his expression unlike anything you had ever seen on him before.
You caressed the same spot his fingers were pressing on, trying to calm the pain, but there was something worrying you even more. In front of you, SAN was staring at his own hands with guilt.
"Y/n," SAN said, his voice trembling. "I... I didn't mean..."
You sat up slowly, your throat aching but your fear already dissipating as you took in his reaction. SAN wasn't just shaken; he looked devastated. His hands trembled as he held them up, staring at them as if they were weapons he didn't recognize.
You tried to reach out to him "I know you didn't", but he moved away before you could touch him.
"I could have..." his words broke off, his voice catching in a way that made your chest ache. "I almost hurt you. I almost killed you."
"SAN, stop," you said softly, reaching out to touch his arm, but he flinched away once again.
"No," he insisted, his voice sharp but filled with self-loathing. "I should've known. I'm supposed to understand your limits, your fragility. I... failed."
You moved closer, ignoring the soreness in your body as you cupped his face in your hands, forcing him to meet your gaze. "You didn't fail," you whispered. "You're still learning. It wasn't intentional. It's okay"
"But what if it happens again?" his voice cracked, the glow in his eyes dimming as his internal systems struggled to process the depth of his mistake. "You're human, Y/n. Fragile. I can't risk hurting you."
You leaned your forehead against his, your voice steady despite the lingering tremor in your body. "Then we learn together," you said firmly. "You're not perfect, SAN. Neither am I. It could've happened to anyone. It's okay, I promise It's okay" you rubbed your nose against his. "I trust you. Even after this I trust you, because you didn't mean to hurt me."
For a long moment, SAN remained silent, his systems quietly recalibrating as he processed your words. Finally, he nodded, though the pain in his expression remained.
"I didn't want to hurt you".
And as you wrapped your arms around him, feeling the warmth of his synthetic skin against your own, you knew that despite the fear and the mistakes, you wouldn't trade this connection for anything in the world.
It seemed like everything was alright, until you woke to an empty bed in the middle of the night. The cool sheets beside you were a stark contrast to the warmth that should've been there. You sat up slowly, your fingers brushing your neck where faint marks still lingered, a ghost of the night before.
Your eyes searched the room until they landed on SAN. He stood by the window, his silhouette framed by the pale light of the moon. His posture was rigid, his head bowed slightly as if the weight of his thoughts was pulling him down.
"SAN," you called softly, but he didn't turn.
You rose, pulling the blanket around your shoulders as you walked toward him. The closer you got, the more you could see the tension in his form. His hands were clenched at his sides, his jaw tight, and his eyes... His eyes glowed faintly, but the usual vibrancy was dim, dulled by an emotion you could only describe as anguish.
"I thought you were resting," he said quietly, his voice devoid of its usual warmth.
"I couldn't," you admitted, stepping closer. "Not without you."
He turned then, just enough for you to see his face. There was no mistaking the pain etched into his features. "I don't belong in that bed, Y/n. I don't belong in your life... not like this."
Your heart twisted. "What are you talking about?"
His gaze dropped to his hands, and he held them up as if to display his guilt. "These hands," he said, his voice trembling. "They're not meant for you. I almost destroyed you, Y/n. I could've..." He trailed off, his throat tightening as though the words themselves hurt.
"But you didn't," you insisted, reaching for him, but he stepped back, shaking his head.
"I can't forgive myself," he said firmly. "You told me you trusted me, and I failed you. I failed to control my strength, to understand the limits of your body. I'm a machine, Y/n. I was built to be precise, but even with all my programming, I'm still flawed. And those flaws... they're dangerous. We're just fooling ourselves thinking I'd ever give you the emotional support you need"
"You're not just a machine," you argued, your voice breaking slightly. "You're San. You're... you're more than your programming, more than your mistakes. You're..."
"A threat," he interrupted, his tone sharp but laced with sorrow. "I can't guarantee your safety, Y/n. No matter how much I want to. And that terrifies me."
You took a step closer, refusing to let him retreat again. "Then let's find a way to fix this. Together. Isn't that what we've been doing all along? Learning together, growing together? You say what you want to improve, and I work with it" your words were coated with desperation.
"Don't you realize how sick that is?" he looked at you then, his glowing eyes meeting yours with a desperation that made your breath catch. "And what happens when I fail again? When I can't stop myself? You could've died, Y/n. Do you understand that? I couldn't live with myself if I ever..."
His voice cracked, and for the first time, you saw something you never thought possible: tears. Not real tears, but the way his expression contorted, the way his voice trembled, it was unmistakably the same.
"You're more human than you think," you whispered, closing the distance between you and placing a hand on his chest. "And part of being human is making mistakes. What matters is how we move forward. I repair you physically, like I'd repair emotionally any other person"
"You repair me both physically and emotionally, Y/n. Don't mistake yourself". He covered your hand with his own, his touch hesitant, as if afraid he might break you. "I don't know if I can move forward without fearing myself."
You leaned into him, your voice steady despite the storm of emotions inside you, despite the fear almost breaking you into crying. "Let me carry that with you, SAN. Because you're worth it. You're worth everything."
For a long moment, he didn't respond. But slowly, hesitantly, he wrapped his arms around you, holding you with a care that felt almost reverent.
Then, his voice broke the stillness, low and laced with a heaviness that struck your heart. "Y/n... I can't stay."
You stiffened in his embrace, pulling back just enough to see his face. "What?"
"I need to go," SAN said, his glowing eyes shimmering with emotion. "For your sake. For mine. I've hurt you, Y/n, and I can't let that happen again."
Your fingers clutched at his arms, your voice rising in desperation. "You can't just leave. We've been through too much..."
"That's exactly why I have to," he interrupted, his tone gentle but resolute. "Every day I'm with you, I risk losing control again. I was designed to be perfect, to adapt, but... I can't seem to find the line between loving you and endangering you. And I can't live knowing I might hurt you again."
Tears welled in your eyes, your throat tightening as you tried to form words. "No... No... No... I... can calibrate you again... I can... I want you. I trust you. Isn't that enough?"
"It should be," he murmured, his hands brushing against your cheeks to wipe away the tears that had started to fall. "But I don't trust myself, Y/n. Not with you. Not after what happened."
You shook your head, your hands fisting in his shirt. "You're running away. You think leaving me will solve this, but it won't. You're part of my life now, SAN. Part of being human is learning from mistakes..."
"Y/n, I'm not human" he finally sentenced, stopping you from coming up with reasons as to why he needed to stay. "And that's why I have to leave," he said, his voice cracking as he cupped your face, his thumbs grazing your cheekbones. "Because you've given me more than I ever thought I could have. And I refuse to let my flaws destroy the one thing I've come to cherish most."
"SAN," you pleaded, your voice weak. "Please, don't do this"
He leaned down, pressing his forehead to yours, his synthetic warmth mingling with the faint chill of your tears. "I love you, Y/n," he whispered, the words soft yet heavy with finality. "But loving you means protecting you, even if it means protecting you from me."
And before you could stop him, SAN stepped back, his arms falling to his sides. He turned and walked toward the door, his movements slow, deliberate, as if every step away from you was a battle against himself.
Tumblr media
Years had passed, but the ache in your chest never dulled. You had tried to move on, tried to tell yourself that SAN had made his choice, but your heart clung stubbornly to the hope that someday, somewhere, you'd find him again.
At first, you searched. You combed through databases, scoured abandoned labs, and revisited places you'd once been together. But the trail was always cold. As the years wore on, you forced yourself to stop looking, though the void in your life only seemed to deepen.
That night, the storm was unrelenting, sheets of rain battering you as you hurried home through the empty streets. Your workshop had long been abandoned, the memories too painful to face. You had taken to wandering instead, letting the night swallow your thoughts.
It was during one of those aimless walks that you saw him.
He was slumped against the wall of an old, forgotten repair shop, his body motionless and caked in dust, as if he had been discarded like any other piece of machinery. The glow that had once emanated from his eyes was gone, replaced by lifeless black glass.
Your breath caught, your heart pounding so violently you thought it might tear through your chest. You dropped to your knees in front of him, your shaking hands reaching out to brush the dirt from his face.
"SAN," you whispered, your voice cracking with a mixture of disbelief and anguish.
He didn't move. He didn't respond.
Your fingers found the seam of his chest plate, the familiar mechanisms you had once built now tarnished and damaged. You pried it open with trembling hands, exposing the core you had crafted with such care all those years ago. It was dormant, the faintest flicker of power barely visible.
The workshop was alive again when you took him back, humming with soft light and the quiet whirr of machines as you worked tirelessly through the night. You had carried SAN home in the rain, his lifeless body heavier than you remembered, every step weighted with hope and dread.
Now, he was clean, the grime of years painstakingly scrubbed away to reveal the smooth, polished contours of his synthetic skin. You'd dressed him in one of your favorite outfits, a black turtleneck and slacks, simple, yet elegant, the kind of thing he used to wear when you insisted he "looked more human" that way.
Your hands trembled as you made the final adjustments to his core, checking the new connections, ensuring every wire was secure. You paused, staring down at his serene, unlit face.
"Please," you whispered, your voice cracking under the weight of longing. "Please come back"
With a deep breath, you pressed the activation button.
His chest glowed faintly, the light growing stronger as his systems hummed to life. His fingers twitched, his head moving slightly before his eyes fluttered open.
For a moment, your heart soared. "SAN?" you said, your voice soft and full of hope.
He blinked, his glowing eyes scanning the room before landing on you. There was no recognition, no spark of familiarity in his gaze. "SAN? Who are you?" he asked, his voice smooth but distant, as if it had never spoken your name before.
The words struck you like a blow. You stepped back, your chest tightening. "It's me... Y/n," you said, trying to keep your voice steady. "Don't you remember?"
He tilted his head, his expression neutral, polite even, but blank. "I don't. Should I?"
Your throat tightened, tears threatening to spill, but you forced herself to stay calm. "Yes," you whispered, "you should. You... I..." you stopped herself, realizing the weight of what you were about to say could overwhelm him.
He sat up slowly, his movements deliberate as if testing his newly repaired body. He looked down at his hands, flexing his fingers before turning back to you. "You fixed me," he said.
"I always would," you replied.
"Thank you," he said, his tone sincere but distant. "I... I feel like I should know you. There's something... familiar. But it's faint. Do you know me?"
"Y... yes"
SAN frowned, eyes dropping to his lap while he tried to think of what he had to know you for.
"It's possible my previous version erased all data about you" he let you know, his voice as systematic as it once was when you created him. "Why would I want to do that though?"
You knew. Without any information about you, SAN wouldn't feel like going looking for you when he felt weak, when distance was impossible to bear. Without everything he knew about you, he had no one and nowhere to go back to.
You bit your lip, your heart aching at the void in his voice where warmth and recognition used to be. "It's okay," you said, forcing a smile despite the tears welling in your eyes. "We'll figure it out. We'll do it together"
He studied you, his gaze softening slightly. "Together," he repeated, though the word felt foreign on his tongue.
And so, you began again, knowing that the SAN you once loved might be lost, but determined to help him find himself -and, perhaps, find you- once more.

Okay, I'm getting on here to be a little bit pissy. I'm sorry in advance.
I am so in love with the headcanons regarding Steve's hearing, whether it be that he's hard of hearing, actively in the process of losing his hearing, deaf with a hearing aid, or just completely deaf—every version is fucking fantastic. I'm hard of hearing myself, it's fucking great that this representation is being written or drawn. I love it.
However, I'm going to hold your hand as I say this, stop using language such as "when he learns to lipread" or "eventually learns to lipread." Please stop.
He shouldn't have to learn to lip read. That shouldn't be an eventual skill he learns.
And, gonna give you a little bit of history here, it's historically ableist to require a deaf/hoh person to learn lip reading. From the late 1800s and into the late 1960s, there were literally programs across America that would force deaf children to write, speak, and lipread English—they were punished for signing to others in their schools, in public, in their dorms. And that didn't change until "Total Communication" was brought forth as a possibility, a philosophy that declared children would learn better using their preferred communication—whether it be oralism (the practice of writing, speaking, and lipreading) or via signing. However, oral schools that implemented total communication into their core programs had sign language that was structured with English grammar, this is commonly known as Exact Sign Language, or Exact English Sign Language. It's not American Sign Language.
Also, children who were approved for Coclear Implants in the early 1990s, were sent from residential deaf schools into day schools (public schools) that had a primary focus on oral teaching; pushed into day schools with little to no support, were discouraged from signing with even their parents. This was due to the fact that it was believed that signing at home would slow down their learning.
I am such a fan of deaf Steve or HoH Steve, but you have to be careful the language you're approaching his character with. If he has a sign language interpreter, then he most likely already knows sign language and will, also, most likely rely on an interpreter for communication with hearing people. If he is going deaf (maybe because of head trauma, maybe he gets into a traumatic accident, maybe he gets sick and just loses his hearing, maybe he listens to music too loudly and damages his ears that way), Steve will most likely already have the skills to write and speak in English, but lipreading is a skill that's difficult to garner.
I'll say, too, lipreading is fucking difficult because hearing people are so used to speaking (most of the time. I'm not talking about non-verbal hearing people in this conversation)—hearing people will typically talk fast, which makes lipreading muddy and indecipherable. I've been trying to learn this for years and I'm fucking over it, I can't do it. I speak and write, but I also use ASL, too.
Saying that Steve needs to lipread, that's ableist. Saying that he eventually or finally learns to lipread, that's ableist. Fuck it, I'm gonna say this, too—requiring or not giving Steve the option to decide whether or not he wants a hearing aid or implant device is also inherently ableist. Deaf people are (and should be) allowed to have a choice on having to hear. My own sibling made the decision recently to stop using the cochlear implant they've had their entire life because they weren't even given the choice to get one in the first place (and decided they were done with it), they hated the feedback the cochlear had, and it was just irritating in the sense that it would fall off, the volume control would change all on its own, and they just didn't like it. That's their choice. It's important to give a character that choice.
I let this get away from me, but I despise how people talk about his options for communication sometimes. It just rubs me the wrong way. And I think it's best we all reanalyze how we approach his characterization, especially how we can approach crafting the characterization without alienating a group of people.
*this post has been approved by my deaf sibling (who was born deaf), and obviously by me (somebody who can only hear out of one fucking ear. seriously be careful about volume control on your ear buds. and also wear ear plugs at shows. it hurts like hell to damage your ear drum.)
Here's a whole Wikipedia article about deaf education in the US (just in case you wanted another reason to hate America, but also if you're curious. definitely something everybody should learn).

EVERY REASON (that i can think of) AS TO WHY TURBO/KING CANDY IS NEURODIVERGENT 💥💥
Tumblr media
i would like to make a disclaimer first and foremost about the obvious, being that Turbo/King Candy is heavily implied to have narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) and antisocial personality disorder (ASPD). Very often, characters with these disorders are portrayed as villains, and Turbo is no exception to this. There's nothing wrong with antagonistic characters having said disorders, per se, but when the only representation available for people with these conditions are found in characters you're not supposed to root for, it can be really disheartening. i won't be erasing these parts of him because i feel it would be in poor taste to gloss over those core elements of who he is, but plz keep in mind that having any kind of personality disorder doesn't make anyone inherently evil!!!🌞 your ACTIONS make you, not your brain
Tumblr media
Also if anyone has any suggestions or other ideas for his neurodiversity, i would love to hear them! please do share!! I LOVE PSYCHOANALYZING CHARACTERS AND HEARING OTHER PEOPLE PSYCHOANALYZE THEM !!!! YAY🎉 if u agree or disagree with any of my points I'd love to discuss them further :-]
Tumblr media
without further ado... click read more to find out…😈 be ready for a lot of reaches
Tumblr media
💥 ADHD 💥
STIMMING
Turbo's constantly moving around in some way; he's a very expressive character! even as King Candy, he can't seem to conceal his frequent giggling. it's a big habit of his; he seems to do it involuntarily to regulate himself, including when he's nervous or uncomfortable.
he seems to display other repetitive behaviors as well, like doing his iconic thumbs-up pose, sticking out his tongue, or hopping around gleefully. he is but a jovial court jester..
i personally like to think that his phrases, "Turbo-tastic!" and "Have some candy!" are vocal stims of his, although i equally really love the interpretation that these (and the aforementioned stims) are tics :-]
another headcanon; i think it would make a lot of sense for him to have an oral fixation of some sort (ignoring the whole sigmund freud part of the term ermm...); just lots of biting, chewing, needing to have something in his mouth. It would align with the whole idea that he smokes, too
HYPERACTIVITY
we can clearly see throughout the film that Turbo has a lot of energy, made abundantly clear by his mannerisms and general behavior. he's constantly moving, using exaggerated expressions and gestures to communicate + express himself. He's one of the most animated and bouncy characters in the movie, next to Vanellope! it's silly how a character not very grounded in reality is such a threat, but i suppose that's what makes him so threatening in the first place...
another factor in this is how he is very adrenaline-seeking, craving activities that give him a rush (sugar rush...😂😂). more on that in a bit!!
HYPERFIXATION
Turbo's fixation with winning is all-consuming for him; it's an obsession. he doesn't appear to care about much else, if anything besides it. this could be interpreted as a hyperfixation for him (or special interest if ur all about that autism lifestyle), as it overtakes all of his focus and impedes every process of his mind.
it's clear that racing is much more than a passion for him, and while that fact is due to how he was programmed, it's a major character trait of his regardless that could be correlated to neurodivergence.
HYPERFOCUS
There seems to be a big theme of "all or nothing" when it comes to Turbo. he will either be fully dedicated to something or brush it aside without a second thought. it can't be denied that he fully wraps himself up in what he wants, whether it's a conflict he can't let go of or a new pursuit he's hungrily chasing after.
ultimately, his dedication varies depending on if it is relevant to him and his interests or not, but this aspect of him still shares patterns with neurodivergent thought processes.
INSTANT GRATIFICATION
Seeing as he has a tendency to cheat in his use of code to spawn in whatever his heart desires, it can be assumed that this could do with Turbo wanting instant gratification to fill that bitter, empty void inside of him. while this could simply be brushed aside as greed and his belief that he is obligated to have access to whatever he wants, this trait is consistent with his generally dopamine-seeking behavior and wanting to be instantly rewarded by his actions. His obsession with needing to feel good directly relates to his need for another buzz, constantly after the next rush. (a sugar rush if you will☺☺☺)
ADRENALINE-SEEKING
Closely related to the previous speculation, Turbo always seems to be chasing his next high. he loves the thrill of action and being surrounded by crowds of people below him. it's why his big thing is racing! people cheer him on, he can do whatever he wants, he can go really fast and look cool..
it's possible that a big aspect of why he does this is to distract himself from any kind of pain, because pain = vulnerability. bro does NOT know how to independently cope with his own problems.. HE MAD AS HELLLLL!!! 😂😂
STRUGGLE WITH SELF CARE
(i know this is reaching but bear with me... 🐻) going off of his appearance and tendency to make poor decisions, it can be gathered that this man lacks skill in the self care department. his yellowing teeth and sunken eyes not only serve to complement his design, but also give way to the idea that he neglects himself in favor for whatever weird scheme he's up to.
of course, Turbo does prioritize himself above everyone else, but he doesn't strike me as the type to care much about how others think he smells. him being a bother to anyone isn't a concern of his. he cares about whatever gets him the most praise and attention from as many people as possible, which is winning and racing. Who cares about how clean he is when he's up on a podium holding a shiny, golden trophy, anyway?
It's likely that he had to step his game up when he went under disguise as king candy, which is why he looks well-groomed in comparison to his more corpse-like appearance. Ugly hoe. it can also be assumed that he's had more time to focus on himself because everyone loves him without question... Well, except for Vanellope, but who cares about her, right?
also, i know he makes a condescending comment to Ralph about how bad his breath smells, but it's made abundantly clear that Turbo is a massive hypocrite. his comment doesn't erase the possibility that he has suffered from such "halitosis" as well.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
💥 ANXIETY 💥
GENERAL ANXIOUS BEHAVIOR
i know, i know, this could technically be chalked up to be "Turbo is nervously giggling and shit because he's scared of getting caught," but guys. g
even in the flashback scene, we can see how easily stressed he can become in an alarmingly short period of time. he is extremely insecure, therefore i am led to believe he is not only emotionally dysregulated, but also by extension, anxiety ridden.
yes, this is purely speculative, but who's to say that he wasn't like this before? being high-strung and intense are significant facets of his personality consistently portrayed throughout the film. as long as he is getting exactly what he wants, he is happy; the moment he loses even a blip of control, however, he immediately grows extremely tense.
if Turbo wasn't anxious about his disguise as King Candy before, he was anxious about how much attention he was receiving on a given day. if not that, then he'd be anxious over how he presents himself. He hates how he can't control how other people perceive him, which is why he is constantly trying to act like he's better than he is.
its why he justifies his behavior to himself, proudly making others refer to him as the "rightful ruler" of sugar rush and relishing in the attention of his countless underlings. Any secure and stable person would NOT ACT LIKE THIS!!!!😭😭😭
FIGHT OR FLIGHT
As we can see a handful of times on screen, Turbo's instinct to protect himself is very easily activated.
his fear manifests in anger and aggression. we can see at multiple points how easy it is to upset him or fluster him; his anger is one side of the same coin, the opposite end being his fear and paranoia.
Going off of this point, have you noticed that Turbo is either satisfied or furious without much of an in-between? how the second something isn't under his manipulation, he lashes out and fights back? I'm led to believe that this is how he responds to fear (AAUAAYAUUUUGGHHH 🐡🐡🐡🐡🐡🐡🐡). This guy is so against the idea of being vulnerable, that even when afraid, he will utilize violence to regain his dominance over the situation at hand.
CONTROL + PARANOIA
Turbo's always trying to writhe or fight his way out of uncomfortable situations, unable to exist outside of his comfort zone for seconds at a time.
his defensive, paranoid, and controlling behavior are all reflections of how deeply insecure this man is. He feels such an intense need for everything to go exactly how he expects it to go that the moment he senses any kind of threat, he instantly jumps to defend himself and what he feels that he has "earned," regardless of whether there truly is a threat or not.
this could potentially be a coping mechanism for his anxiety and sense of stability; can't forget to mention how territorial he is!! he jumps to conclusions about what others' intentions are before they even get a chance to reply, as seen with his first encounter with Ralph in the movie.
the racer is so internally discombobulated that he seeks any sense of stability on his environment, including on those around him. his sense of self is so warped that he copes with constant distraction; being under the spotlight, being actively racing, having to be showered with attention, having others make him feel good because he doesn't know how to do it for himself. he needs to feel like everything is under control, lest everything falls apart.
"...if there's ONE thing I can't abide, it's ANYTHING out of order!"
Tumblr media
💥 NPD 💥
INFLATED SENSE OF SELF IMPORTANCE
Turbo's most in-your-face trait above all else. It's made more than crystal clear in every scene he's in that his arrogance is a determining factor in how he interacts with others. This is exactly what drives him to desperately crave admiration, to chase after others he's envious of because he thinks he is obligated to take what they have.
he seems to genuinely think he is entitled to get whatever he wants, just because he is inherently "special" or "better" than everyone else. Why else would he have made himself a king, a step above princess?
EXCESSIVE NEED FOR ADMIRATION
Turbo's self worth is COMPLETELY dependent on the opinions of children and teenagers. I think i don't need to say any more than that, but i will. (Evil).
As cartoonishly massive as his ego is, i think that it's fair to assume that Turbo has a very unstable sense of self, distorting his perception of his own worth down with it. his near-constant flaunting and need to be the best is a dead giveaway to his deeply-ridden self-doubt. The foundation of his stability is built around how "good" he is (at racing and winning), how powerful he is, whether or not he is being prioritized above everyone else, whether or not he is the absolute best, etc. etc.
The racer outright manipulates others to shower him with admiration and undeserved appreciation. He is incapable of forming a true sense of internal value, instead heavily and codependently relying on others to form it for him. if he isn't the best, he may as well just be nothing.
INTENSE JEALOUSY
He reacts so severely to what he perceives as others taking away what is rightfully his that it only goes to solidify my previous points even further. the second someone else is getting more attention than him, Turbo will bend over backwards to rip back the praise he believes he so rightly deserves.
being extremely competitive, he will one-up against anyone he thinks of as a threat, dedicating himself to taking them down to the best of his ability, and making sure they STAY down to top it all off.
INABILITY TO HANDLE CRITICISM
if we really dissect the entire one-off joke with Turbo insisting that his stolen pink castle is actually "salmon," along with all of his other domineering behaviors, we can garner that he is very persistent in how he wants others to view him. i wholeheartedly believe that this would translate into him not only being defensive over his supposed "ownership" of Sugar Rush, but also over himself and his own insecurities.
He needs to feel good about himself or else he will die and quite literally try to kill everyone.
LACK OF EMPATHY
He appears to have a fondness for making jokes in very poor taste. Turbo has a big sense of humor, but it's always at the expense of others. Be it a pun about a "fungeon," or jumping to protect himself with a joke about "hitting a guy with glasses," he has a tendency to take serious situations very lightly. It's not that he's unaware of the weight of it; he simply doesn't take it Seriously.
its admittedly impressive how he was able to feign empathy so well for Ralph; it goes to show how he is very capable of understanding that what he's doing is wrong, but ultimately does nothing to change his behavior because it doesn't impact him personally.
i would like to honor this part of him, because even in the possible alternate path of a redemption arc, his struggle with empathy can be explored in a variety of interesting ways :-] he can understand complicated emotions and situations on an analytical level, but he doesn't feel for them unless it has to do with him specifically. (this obviously doesn't make him inherently evil, his ACTIONS make him evil)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
💥 ASPD 💥
LACK OF REMORSE/GUILT
One of Turbo's core characteristics is just how far he is willing to go for his own self-interest with lack of regard for how it impacts everyone else. he has absolutely no concern for how anyone else feels besides himself, willing to go so far as to attempt to mutilate a 9-year-old to achieve his petty goals.
Turbo is shameless when it comes to how he goes about getting his way. While I'd like to believe he isn't fully incapable of feeling regret, he doesn't showcase feeling it in the movie itself. The most regret he'll feel is when he slips up and exposes himself. anything else is the fault of everyone else; he is untouchable in his eyes.
DECEITFUL TENDENCIES + LYING
Where do i even start with this one.
well, first of all, let's acknowledge the... erm, horse? in the room? 🐎😅(Please someone help me there is a horse in my room help helphel) being that Turbo went under disguise as King Candy for at least a decade. Even before this, there's a good chance that he's already had plenty of experience with lies and manipulation. i'd be willing to bet on this!!
one of his specialties is being proficient in manipulation, be it the code of games or the minds of people. theyre basically the same thing to him, anyway... I'm sure you all know the scene where he uses 16 manipulation tactics against Ralph and wins. this was Obviously not the first time he'd done this.
REPETITION OF HARMFUL BEHAVIORS
Time and time again, Turbo can't seem to help himself when it comes to poor decision-making. he never internalizes that his bad choices aren't JUST bad for others, but also for himself, continuing to escalate further and further into very dangerous behaviors until he literally dies.
Here's a list of bad decisions he has made! (at least, that we know of)
Pinning himself above his peers
Harassment + stalking
Carelessly charging through GCS with his car, endangering countless civilians
Attempting to take over a game that isn't his x2
Vehicular manslaughter
Implied mass murder + attempted murder, attempted mutilation
Mass endangerment
Breaking and entering, theft, usurpation, plagiarism
and more!!!!!!!
AND HE LEARNS FROM ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THIS!!! with some of the items listed here, he's attempted to do multiple times! Absolute buffoon.
RECKLESS DISREGARD FOR SAFETY OF SELF AND OTHERS
Considering how he was willing to charge into a game that wasn't his own with the awareness that it could permanently kill him, going as far as to recklessly crash into another car (albeit it's possible this was unintentional), it's easy to gather that he doesn't seem to consider anyone's safety at all in the spur of the moment.
IMPULSITIVITY
his impulsivity and disregard for safety both go hand-in-hand. When it gets to a certain point, Turbo's emotions will boil over and blow up in a cold rage, thus causing him to spiral and act on impulse, becoming a detrimental force to himself as well as everyone around him.
What's interesting is how much restraint he is capable of; he typically is very strategic in how he orchestrates his plans! but once he reaches his breaking point, he snaps and leaves all of his hard work behind in favor of something that calls for his immediate attention.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
💥 ETC. 💥
extra tidbits i didnt have enough energy to fully delve into :-]
BPD
Fear of abandonment
Blurry sense of identity
Feelings of emptiness
Self destructive tendencies
Emotional instability
Explosive anger
ODD (oppositional defiant disorder)
He seems so infatuated with his own autonomy that he gets to the point of being resistant and defiant
Resisting against the rules of the world that he directly caused as a result of his own actions, being that one shouldn't "go Turbo."
Enjoys upsetting/getting a rise out of others. this is more speculative as i am going off of the assumption that he thinks pissing people off is funny, based on his other behavioral patterns. (cruel sense of humor, wanting to feel above others via control & manipulation, enjoyment of inflicting pain onto others)
Forcefully defends himself and refuses any kind of criticism
Lashes out when he feels slighted
Excessive persistence despite all odds, whether it's beneficial to him or not
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ok bye!! thank you if you managed to read this far ^^ peace and love take care of yourself! all in all turbo is so neurodivergent ok please Okay <3 get this thing his meds

→ A/N: I really liked this chapter, and as I said previously, it’s probably my favorite one out of the 11 of them. 10 and 11 are a wild ride and basically pure smut. This one… I don’t know why, maybe it’s the thrill of pushing somebody to their limits or the anticipation of what’s going to happen to Chip now that Hoseok is done holding back. But something scratches my brain just right. Anyway, enjoy this one, and get ready for the next two because you’re going to need water (and Chip too… all I’ll say is she’s multiorgasmic, so.) Also, I did say this in my author intro for this series and all, but this is basically a self-indulgent story. I just wanted to explore plausible deniability, menacing kindness in medical settings, and a bit of psychological warfare. I like how brilliant Hoseok is and how he’s always ten steps ahead, and I love how Chip has basically rewired herself to be attuned to him unconsciously. Like ‘normal flirting’ isn’t for her. She doesn’t like ‘nice’. It’s a silly thing, but I really liked writing that, having her realize those things about herself, it shows growth. Maybe they’re both a bit messed up, but they somehow work. And that’s realistic and that’s what I like. So yeah, I wasn’t going for full analysis and psychological depth in this one, because frankly, it’s a mini-series so, word count is a thing. I wanted to actually have a story finished, a completed one, and if I went off-the-rails with this one then we’d be facing another slow burn 500k word count monstruosity—I can’t do that to myself. Some things are not spelled out. Some things are for you guys to interpret. And as always, I’ll be hearing all of you out in my inbox! 💕

The minutes tick by like honey drips—slow, sweet, deliberate. You check the time: 16 minutes left.
Fuck him.
Fuck his countdown and his medical terminology and his whole menacing kindness act.
"Mike!" You grab his arm, pulling him back to the dance floor. "Dance with me."
He looks surprised but pleased, hands settling carefully on your waist. Too carefully. You press closer, letting the alcohol and spite guide your movements.
15 minutes.
Your phone buzzes. You ignore it.
"You sure you're okay?" Mike asks as your hips sway against his.
"Perfect." You loop your arms around his neck, making sure to arch your back just so. Because you know he's watching. Can feel those surgical eyes cataloging every point of contact between you and Mike.
14 minutes.
Another buzz. Then another.
"Your phone's blowing up," Mike notes, glancing at your clutch.
"Let it." You turn in his arms, pressing your back to his chest. His hands hover uncertainly at your hips. "You can hold tighter, you know."
13 minutes.
Your phone starts buzzing continuously. Text after text after—
"Should you maybe check that?"
"Nope." You guide Mike's hands lower, letting them rest on your thighs where your dress has ridden up. "Just dance with me."
12 minutes.
The buzzing stops abruptly. Your stomach flips with anticipation.
Because you know what this means. Know what happens when he goes quiet. It's like watching storm clouds gather—that perfect, terrible stillness before lightning strikes.
11 minutes.
Mike's thumbs brush circles on your thighs—gentle, tentative touches that make you want to scream. Because they're wrong. No clinical precision. No calculated pressure points. Just... nice.
You hate nice.
10 minutes.
Your phone lights up with a single message. You shouldn't look. You really shouldn't look.
You look.
𝐔𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: 𝙷𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚏𝚞𝚗?
Heat floods your system. Because that's his voice—the one he uses right before he makes you fall apart. All honey and poison and promise.
9 minutes.
Your fingers shake as you type:
𝐘𝐨𝐮: 𝚢𝚞𝚞𝚞𝚞𝚙. 𝚖𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚑𝚊𝚜 𝚛𝚕𝚢 𝚗𝚒𝚌𝚎 𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚜
The response is immediate:
𝐔𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: 𝙽𝚘 𝚑𝚎 𝚍𝚘𝚎𝚜𝚗’𝚝.
𝐘𝐨𝐮: 𝚓𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚘𝚞𝚜??
𝐔𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: 𝟾 𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚞𝚝𝚎𝚜, 𝙲𝚑𝚒𝚙.
You press closer to Mike, making sure your dress rides up just enough. Making a show of it.
7 minutes.
𝐔𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: 𝙷𝚒𝚜 𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚜 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚠𝚛𝚘𝚗𝚐 𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚌𝚎.
𝐘𝐨𝐮: 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚋 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚗
6 minutes.
𝐔𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝚎𝚡𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚕𝚢 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚋𝚎. 𝚆𝚑𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚋𝚎𝚕𝚘𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘.
Your thighs clench involuntarily. Mike mistakes it for encouragement, his fingers flexing against your skin.
5 minutes.
𝐘𝐨𝐮: 𝚌𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚛 𝚞 𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚖𝚞𝚜𝚒𝚌. 𝚖𝚒𝚔𝚎’𝚜 𝚋𝚎𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚛𝚕𝚢 𝚍𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐
𝐔𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: 𝙸𝚜 𝚑𝚎.
Just that. Two words that sound like a medical diagnosis and feel like a death sentence.
4 minutes.
𝐘𝐨𝐮: 𝚖𝚑𝚖𝚖𝚖. 𝚖𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚕𝚎𝚝 𝚑𝚒𝚖 𝚝𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚖𝚎 𝚑𝚘𝚖𝚎
The dots appear, disappear, appear again. Your heart thunders.
3 minutes.
𝐔𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: 𝙽𝚘.
𝐘𝐨𝐮: 𝚗𝚘?
𝐔𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚘𝚗’𝚝.
𝐘𝐨𝐮: 𝚠𝚊𝚝𝚌𝚑 𝚖𝚎
2 minutes.
𝐔𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: 𝙾𝚑, 𝙸 𝚊𝚖.
Oh.
Oh so he's actually here. Somewhere in this crowd, he is watching. He was pretending to be home, pretending he hadn’t been watching, pretending he wasn’t here.
But he is.
1 minute.
𝐔𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: 𝙻𝚊𝚜𝚝 𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎, 𝙲𝚑𝚒𝚙.
You turn in Mike's arms, pressing closer. Let your lips brush his ear as you whisper something meaningless, making it look intimate.
30 seconds.
𝐘𝐨𝐮: 𝚘𝚘𝚙𝚜 𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚜 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎’𝚜 𝚞𝚙
𝐔𝐧𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: 𝙸𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚎𝚍.
Your phone goes silent. The crowd shifts around you, bodies pressing closer in the dark. Mike's hands move respectfully somewhere above your waist.
And then—
"Mind if I cut in?"
That voice. Honey-thick and surgical-sharp, right behind you.
Oh.
Fuck.
Your entire body freezes, even as Mike continues moving near you, oblivious to the way your pulse just flatlined.
Because Hoseok is here.
Not just watching from some hidden vantage point. Not just sending threatening texts. But here—close enough that you can smell bergamot and antiseptic and all those things you want to feel under your lips.
"Mind if I cut in?" he repeats, and now his hand settles on your waist, surgical fingers spanning your ribcage like they belong right there.
The touch is gentle. Clinical.
Lethal.
Mike hesitates, hands stilling immediately. "Uh, we were kind of—"
"Were you?" He responds swiftly, and it has no business being this hot.
Hoseok's thumb finds the pressure point between your ribs, pressing just hard enough to make your breathing stutter. His other hand extends past you, offering Mike something that glints in the strobing lights.
"I believe this is yours." He adds then.
You crane your neck to see—and nearly choke.
Because that's a hospital ID badge.
"Dr. Jung?" Mike's voice rises in recognition. "From the ER rotation?"
"Mm." Hoseok's thumb digs deeper into your side. "Small world."
The music flutters around you as understanding dawns on Mike's face. Because of course. Of course, Mike is doing his internship at SNU. He told you so earlier. Of course Hoseok would know him. Of course this whole situation would implode in the most spectacularly awful way possible.
"I didn't realize—" Mike starts, but Hoseok cuts him off with a smile that could sterilize surgical equipment.
"That this is my best friend's sister?" His hand slides higher on your waist, proprietary and utterly poisonous. "The one I specifically mentioned during orientation? About maintaining professional boundaries?"
Oh.
Oh no.
Mike's hands drop from your body like they've been burned. "Shit, I didn't—I mean, she didn't say—"
"No?" Hoseok's voice is dusted in cyanide. "Must have slipped her mind. Just like it slipped her mind that she has an 8 AM anatomy lab." His fingers tap your ribs. "With me."
You should say something. Should defend Mike or explain or—
"I'll just..." Mike backs away, hands raised in surrender. "Yeah. Nice seeing you, Dr. Jung."
He disappears into the crowd, leaving you alone with six feet of barely contained medical malice.
"Nineteen minutes," Hoseok murmurs against your ear, turning you in his arms until you're facing him. "I gave you nineteen minutes."
Your mouth goes dry. Because he looks... devastating. White dress shirt rolled to his elbows, dark slacks that you just know cost more than your textbooks, hair slightly disheveled like that day he fingered you.
He looks like he just stepped out of surgery.
He looks like he's about to perform one.
"I—" Your voice cracks as his hand slides up your spine, pressing you closer. "You said don't come Thursday."
"I did." His other hand cups your jaw, thumb brushing your lower lip. "And yet here we are. On a Friday. With your dress halfway up your thighs and some intern’s hands all over my—" He cuts himself off, jaw clenching.
"Your what?" The tequila makes you brave.
Stupid.
Reckless.
His eyes darken. "You know exactly what you are."
"Say it." You press closer, feeling the way his breath hitches. "If you're so concerned about my behavior, Dr. Jung, diagnose me."
His thumb presses harder against your mouth. "Don't."
"Don't what?" You let your lips part, tongue darting out to taste the pad of his thumb. "Test you? Pretty sure that ship sailed around minute seventeen."
A muscle jumps in his jaw. "You're drunk."
"Tipsy," you correct, rolling your hips against his. "Just drunk enough to tell you exactly what I think about you blocking my number and playing hot and cold and—"
His hand fists in your hair, yanking your head back. "Not here."
"Why not?" You bare your throat, feeling his pulse thunder for the first time ever. "Scared of losing control, sunbae?"
The honorific hits like a match to gasoline. His grip tightens painfully in your hair as he drags you off the dance floor, through the crowd, past the bathrooms to a darker hallway near the emergency exit.
Your back hits the wall hard enough to knock the breath from your lungs. His hands cage your head as he looms over you, expression thunderous.
"You want to talk about control?" His voice is barely audible over the muffled bass. "Let's talk about how you deliberately disobeyed me. How you let some fumbling intern put his hands all over what's mine."
Flames lick down your spine. "Yours?"
"Mine." He leans closer, lips brushing your ear. "Or did you forget how pretty you looked choking on my cock? How desperate you were for my fingers? How you begged—"
"Fuck you," you spit, but your thighs press together traitorously.
His laugh is cruel and gentle all at once. "Oh, Chip." His knee wedges between your legs, spreading them wider. "That's exactly what you want, isn't it? Why you've been testing me all night."
You shake your head frantically, even as your hips roll against his thigh.
"No?" His hand slides up your inner thigh, bunching the dress higher. "Then why are you so wet?"
His fingers brush against damp lace, and you bite back a whimper.
"Tell me," he demands softly, circling your clit through the fabric. "Tell me why you're soaking through these pretty panties."
Your head thunks back against the wall. "I hate you."
"No." His fingers press harder, making you gasp. "You hate that I'm right. That I know exactly what you need." His other hand cups your breast through your dress. "That no matter how many other aspiring doctors you dance with, no matter how much you pretend..." His thumb rolls your nipple roughly. "You'll always be my Chip."
The possessive pronoun makes you whine. He swallows the sound with a kiss that tastes like punishment and promise.
"Car," he growls against your mouth. "Now."
"Make me."
His smile is surgical precision and poorly contained violence. "Last chance to behave."
You bite his lower lip in response.
His growl vibrates through your chest as he hauls you away from the wall.
"Have it your way."
The world tilts as he hoists you over his shoulder like you weigh nothing—all that strength he showed you back home on display as he secures you with one arm.
You're still giddy enough from tequila and victory to wave cheerfully at Mike's shocked face across the bar.
SMACK.
The sharp crack of his palm against your ass echoes even over the music. The sting blooms hot and perfect, pulling a sound from your throat that’s definitely not pain.
"Oops," you giggle, squirming deliberately against his shoulder. "Sorry, Dr. Jung."
Another smack lands harder, right where thigh meets curve. This time, your yelp dissolves into an embarrassingly breathy moan.
"Still feeling defiant?" His voice is sugary-sweet venom as he starts walking, each step jostling you against his shoulder. "Or should I conduct a more thorough behavioral assessment right here?"
"You wouldn't dare," you taunt, voice muffled against his back.
His laugh is quiet. Lethal. "That’s adorable, Chip. Truly."
SMACK.
You yelp again, fingers digging into the back of his shirt. “Sadist.”
“Self-restraint of a saint, actually.”
You’re halfway to the exit when he hums thoughtfully. Almost like he’s just remembering something.
"You know," he says conversationally, "I was going to let him off with a warning."
Something tingles in your stomach. "Hoseok—"
SMACK.
"But then he put his hands on you." Fingers tighten on your thigh, casual but severe. "And that? That’s something I just can’t overlook."
You push up against his back, twisting to look at him. "You’re not—"
"Relax," he murmurs, effortlessly adjusting his grip as you squirm. "I’m not going to ruin him."
A pause.
SMACK.
"But he’s an intern, isn’t he?" His tone is all polite, mere curiosity. "Which means his next rotation is what—three weeks?"
You unawarely hold your breath.
"ER is brutal at SNU," he continues mildly. "And interns? They burn out so fast."
"Hoseok." You say his name like it’s a warning.
Like you have any say whatsoever in what he does.
"Mm. No, you're right." He sighs like he actually considers it. SMACK. "Wouldn’t want him transferring to another specialty out of sheer exhaustion. What a shame that would be."
You dig your nails into his back, panic rising. "You can't—"
He chuckles, patting your thigh as if to soothe you. "Of course I can’t. That would be unethical."
SMACK.
You whimper, thighs squeezing against his chest.
"But maybe," he says softly, fingers pressing into the burning skin of your ass, "someone will make sure he remembers exactly where he stands."
You go rigid.
"Someone like…" He taps his fingers against your thigh. SMACK. "The Chief Resident?"
Your pulse pounds.
"Or maybe," he continues, voice all silky amusement, "someone even higher than that."
"You are insane," you breathe.
"And yet—" His hand slides under your dress, fingers teasing the damp heat between your thighs. "You keep testing me."
Your head thunks against his back.
His chuckle is quiet. Knowing. "That’s what I thought."
You squeal as he pinches the sensitive spot he just spanked. The cool night air hits your legs as he walks through the parking lot, carrying you like a misbehaving doll.
"Put me down!" You mean to say it like a retort—but you’re laughing now, drunk on tequila and victory and the way his fingers keep finding new places to leave bruises.
"Oh, I will." His palm connects with your other cheek, evening out the sting. "Right over my knee first, then bent over my desk, then—"
"Hoseok!"
"That’s not my name tonight, is it?" Another smack, another moan you can't quite swallow. "What did you call me? Dr. Jung?"
You're definitely going to die. He’s going to kill you with his bare hands and perfect voice and medical terminology.
(Worth it.)
His car beeps as he approaches—something sleek and black that probably costs stupidly too much. The passenger door opens and—
"Wait." You twist to look at him over your shoulder. "Aren’t you going to check my alcohol levels? Make sure I’m safe to—"
His laugh rumbles through your whole body. "Oh, Chip." He deposits you in the seat with gentleness, despite his rough demeanor. "Bold of you to assume you’ll be conscious enough to remember your own name when I’m done with you."
Your nipples perk up as he buckles you in, movements deliberately slow. His fingers subtly trace the marks he left on your thighs, pressing just hard enough to make you whimper.
"Besides." He straightens, smile pure poison in the streetlight. "I need you exactly this brave for what comes next."
The door closes with a soft click that sounds like a death sentence.
And you?
Well.
You've never been happier to die.
Hoseok sits on the driver’s seat in a matter of seconds, and the car immediately purrs to life with a swift flick of his wrist. His hands flex on the steering wheel—those perfect surgeon's fingers that make your mouth water just looking at them.
"Hair up," he commands without looking at you, voice clinical and cold. "Now."
You fumble with your hair tie (the one you always wear on your wrist and thank the Jesus for that right now), fingers trembling as you gather your hair into a ponytail. His eyes stay fixed on the road, but you feel him watching in your peripheral vision.
"Good girl." The praise drips like antifreeze—candied yet devastating. His legs spread wider, expensive slacks pulling taut across his thighs. "Now pull it out and suck."
Heat floods your face. Because he's not even looking at you—just expecting obedience as he navigates through Seoul's nighttime traffic with perfect precision.
"I—" You swallow hard, remembering how you'd barely managed half of him last time. How your jaw had ached for days. How he'd had to finish with his hand because you couldn't—
"Nineteen minutes, Chip." His voice stays honey-smooth even as his knuckles whiten on the wheel. "That's how long until we reach my apartment. Make me cum before then."
Your fingers shake as you reach for his fly. The zipper sounds obscenely loud in the quiet car.
"Nervous?" He takes a turn with too much accuracy, still not looking down. "After all that sass at the club?"
You finally free his cock—already hard, already leaking, already massive. Your mouth waters even as anxiety twists your stomach.
"I can't—" You remember choking, tears streaming down your face as he'd guided you deeper. "Last time I couldn't—"
"Eighteen minutes." His thumb brushes your cheek, the touch deceptively gentle. "Better start practicing."
You lean down, bracing one hand on his thigh as you take him into your mouth. The taste is familiar now—salt and skin and him. His breath hitches slightly as you swirl your tongue around the head.
"Deeper." The command is velvet-soft but unmistakable. "You wanted to play games tonight, Chip. Show me how much you've improved."
You sink lower, trying to relax your throat like he taught you. His cock hits the back of your mouth and you gag slightly.
"Sixteen minutes." His hand finds your ponytail—not pushing, just holding. "Remember your breathing exercises."
You whimper around his length, tears already gathering at the corners of your eyes. He's so big—stretching your lips obscenely wide as you try to take more.
"That's it." His fingers tighten in your hair as you bob your head. "Good girl. Use your tongue just like I showed you."
The praise makes you moan, the vibration making his hips twitch upward. You gag again as he hits deeper.
"Careful." His voice stays steady even as his cock throbs against your tongue. "Don't want to crash. That would be..." His grip tightens marginally. "...inconvenient."
You pull back to catch your breath, lips still stretched around his tip. "How much time?"
"Fourteen minutes." He takes another turn smoothly, like he's not getting his dick sucked in Seoul traffic. "And you've barely managed half. So disappointing, Chip. Can’t you do better?"
The words feel like a slap stinging across your cheeks, but you can’t deny the wetness they bring through your panties. You sink back down with renewed determination, forcing yourself to take more. Your throat spasms around him as tears streak your cheeks.
"Better." His thumb wipes away a tear. "But still not enough. Show me how sorry you are for disobeying me, Chip. Show me you mean it."
You hollow your cheeks, sucking harder as your hand works what you can't fit in your mouth. His breathing grows heavier but his driving never falters.
"Ten minutes." His hips roll up slightly, making you choke. "Want to know what happens if you fail?"
You whine around his cock, trying desperately to take more.
"I'll park the car." His voice drops lower, darker. "And teach you properly. Right here. Until you learn."
The threat makes you redouble your efforts, tongue tracing the thick vein on the underside as you force yourself lower. Your jaw aches, drool gathering at the corners of your mouth.
"Five minutes." His control is cracking—just slightly—voice rougher as you work him faster. "Running out of time, Chip."
You're crying properly now, mascara probably ruined as you desperately try to please him. He momentarily glances down, taking in your ruined expression as your eyes lock with his.
"Fuck." The curse slips out as his hips jerk up. "Three minutes. Show me how badly you want to make it up to me. You can do it, Chip."
You're a mess—tears and spit dripping down your chin as you take him as deep as you can. His cock twitches against your tongue, pre-cum bitter, but so perfect because it’s him.
"One minute." His grip becomes brutal in your hair. "Better swallow it all this time."
You feel him pulse, feel his thighs tense under your palm. His cum hits the back of your throat in hot spurts as he guides you down further than you've ever managed.
"Good girl." He sounds wrecked even as he parks the car perfectly. "Every drop."
You swallow obediently, throat working around him until he softens slightly. When he finally lets you up, you realize you're in his parking garage.
"Time?" you rasp, voice completely destroyed.
His smile is gentle but noxious as he tucks himself away. "Twenty-one minutes." He cups your tear-stained cheek. "You failed."
Butterflies erupt in your stomach as he exits the car, coming around to your door. His expression is pure medical malice as he helps you out.
"Don't worry though." His thumb traces your swollen lips. "We have all night for remedial lessons."

Top 15 Vampires (Who AREN'T Dracula)
Tumblr media
Something a lot of people seem to misconstrue about me is that I am a massive fan of vampires and vampire fiction. This really isn’t the case: what I AM is a massive fan of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula,” specifically. I am fascinated by seeing different interpretations of that particular novel, and especially its title character. When it comes to vampire fiction as a whole, I am much less well-versed and interested. SPOILER ALERT: you won’t be seeing TV franchises like “True Blood,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Dark Shadows,” or “What We Do in the Shadows” here, for the simple fact that I have never seen any of them and really don’t have any intention of seeing them. This applies to a lot of other television programs, works of literature, films, and video games: vampires, by default, do not automatically equal my vested interest. HOWEVER…this does not mean I have NO interest in vampires, as a concept. Long before Bram Stoker’s seminal work was published and reached its heights of popularity, the idea of the vampire - an undead creature who rises from the grave to drain the blood of the living - was a fantasy and myth spanning not only many centuries, but many different cultures. Just about every nation, region, and spiritual belief under the setting Sun has had some variation of the vampire legend, and written stories of vampiric characters and events date back much, much further back than Stoker’s time. What “Dracula” really did was bring the concept into the popular consciousness, especially through its renditions onstage and in motion pictures, in a way no written or orally transferred piece of work had done before. That popularity has really only continued to grow over the decades. Being such a widespread idea, and one with increasing fascination for many people over time, it’s only natural that while I may favor Dracula and his exploits beyond all the rest, I have still seen SOME pieces of vampire fiction not necessarily related to the Count of Transylvania. So, I decided it was time to give all of them some attention. Now, I should point out that I won’t be counting characters I already talked about on my Top 31 Favorite Dracula list: even if they aren’t technically Dracula himself, such as with The Count from “Sesame Street,” or Count Chocula, it just seems like cheating to include them here since…well…I already brought them up, and it was in relation to Dracula! With that said, some Dracula-inspired characters WILL be present on this list that did NOT get discussed in the past, because Dracula-inspired does not equal Dracula himself. Also, I will be including characters who are dhampirs - half-vampire, half-human - or might be considered “unconventional vampires,” so to speak. If they have all the hallmarks I’m looking for, they can be eligible. Oh, and if you’re a fan of “Twilight”...firstly, you probably shouldn’t be reading this, and secondly, you’re going to be massively disappointed. :P Now that we’ve established those points…let’s waste no more time. Prepare some garlic and, if you don’t have any crucifixes handy, consider buying a couple: these are My Top 15 Favorite Vampires…Who AREN’T Count Dracula.
Tumblr media
15. NOS-4-A2, from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
Starting off with an unconventional sort of vampire. NOS-4-A2 is Dracula parody character, created by the evil Emperor Zurg. He is a robotic “energy vampire” who detests the taste of blood, instead feeding off electrical energy. This, of course, still makes him a very dangerous threat, especially in a sci-fi styled universe with so many electronic gadgets and gizmos laying around, and with more robots roaming the galaxy than you can shake a stick at. Ultimately breaking away from his creator’s influence, NOS-4-A2 continued to bedevil the heroes of Star Command throughout the show’s run, and was arguably the scariest major villain of the whole show. This is especially fascinating since he was played by Craig Ferguson, of all people; not the most obvious casting to play a vampire of any kind, I’d say.
Tumblr media
14. Demetri Maximoff, from Darkstalkers.
These games were inspired by the Universal Monsters of yore, with characters based on figures of fright like the Wolfman, the Frankenstein Monster, and the Mummy, just to name a few. Demetri is effectively the Dracula surrogate of the franchise…but, since he ISN’T actually Dracula, and I have not mentioned him before, I think he can count here. (Plus, in the…very, VERY bad cartoon series loosely based on the games, Dracula is actually present as a character and is Demetri’s uncle, so…there’s that, too, I guess.) Demetri is an extremely vain and power-hungry vampire warlord, who believes himself to be superior to not only all humans, but perhaps all other forms of life. This led to him arrogantly challenging the demon Belial to a duel in a time long past. Demetri lost, and thus was banished to the mortal realm, where he now seeks to find a way to regain his former glory. His greatest rival is the succubus, Morrigan, daughter of Belial. Demetri isn’t particularly complex, but he IS a very entertainingly dark and powerful character. At the same time, there are some humorous aspects to Maximoff’s personality: one of his special moves, “Midnight Bliss,” literally causes him to turn the male characters he fights into comical female forms, because Demetri really, REALLY prefers the blood of women to that of men. Also, how many other vampires will stop in the middle of a fight to spray themselves with cologne?
Tumblr media
13. Lady Dimitrescu, from Resident Evil Village.
I could be entirely wrong about this, but I got the feeling that “Village”- much like the Darkstalkers franchise - was Resident Evil’s throwback to the classic Universal Monsters. When the villains include an elegant vampire, a werewolf, a mad scientist, and a mutant fish person, and the setting is a creepy little town with a dark castle? You’ll forgive me if I see certain parallels. Regardless of any influences, I think it’s fair to say that Lady Dimitrescu, a.k.a. “The Tall Lady,” stands on her own two (very long) legs quite well. While all of the villains in the game are different shades of awesome, Lady D. is by far the most popular. She is the first major antagonist the players encounter in this action/horror combination, as we are forced to try and escape from her Gothic castle while facing not only her, but also her equally wicked daughters. Dimitrescu isn’t a typical vampire, but rather the result of scientific mutation, which has transformed her into a vampire-like creature with a humanoid veneer. Still, she’s no more unconventional than NOS-4-A2, I’d say (or a bunch of other characters still to come), so I don’t see any reason she can’t count.
Tumblr media
12. Father Abel Nightroad, from Trinity Blood.
Finally, a character who is decidedly NOT influenced by Dracula! There are a ton of vampire-themed anime out there, but I haven’t seen very many of them; again, I’m more into Dracula, specifically, than vampires as a whole. However, there are a few characters and shows on this list, and this guy is the first of them. “Trinity Blood” focuses on the adventures of Abel Nightroad, who is one of only two surviving members of a race known as a Crusnik (also spelled “Krusnik;” not sure which is the more generally accepted spelling): while vampires feed on human beings, a Crusnik is essentially a vampire that feeds on other vampires. Abel works for the Vatican (which, in the alternate reality of the series, has basically taken over the human world…read into that what you will), acting as a sort of ambassador, trying to keep peace between the nation of humans and the nation of vampires. Abel is a classic example of a character type I really love: I don’t know what the name for it is, but it’s a scenario where the character often appears to be silly and goofy and perhaps even a sweetheart, but underneath it all they are made of steel and can be VERY dangerous. Characters like Sans, The Doctor, Disney’s Clopin, Adrian Monk…the list goes on. Abel is one of those types: on the surface, at first glance, he’s a clumsy, sugar-addicted, perpetually-broke goofball who tries desperately to avoid all conflict. When the chips are down, however, he’s quick to remind those who cause trouble why he’s basically the alpha predator of this world’s food chain. It’s the classic “beware the fury of a patient man” concept: when the peaceful priest is also a vampire of vampires, the last thing you want to do is make him mad.
Tumblr media
11. Taiga Nobori, a.k.a. Kamen Rider Saga, from Kamen Rider Kiva.
“Kamen Rider Kiva” is a Japanese superhero program - part of the long-running “Kamen Rider” franchise - themed around…you guessed it…Universal Monsters. The series focuses on the titular Kamen Rider Kiva (real name Wataru Kurenai), who uses his powers to hunt down shapeshifting, vampiric monsters referred to as “Fangires.” The Fangires are ruled by a chess-themed group of superiors known as the Checkmate Four. At the time of the series’ start, the current leader of the Checkmate Four is this character: Taiga Nobori, who becomes a rival of Wataru under the identity of Kamen Rider Saga. Taiga is a childhood friend of Wataru, who is ultimately revealed to secretly be his long lost sibling. Despite this, he at first plays an antagonistic role in the story; as the series goes on, he has to struggle with his relationship with Wataru, his love for Mio - a lady both of them love dearly - and his responsibility as the new King of the Fangires. Again, not by any means a conventional vampire (or dhampir), but a very fun character and more than worthy of placement on my personal list.
Tumblr media
10. Bunnicula.
This little guy is almost undoubtedly the cutest life-sucking undead creature in history. Why? Well…he’s a bunny. A cute, adorable, fluffy, sweet little bunny with big red eyes and a little widow’s peak marking on his noggin. How can you NOT love this fuzzy little sweetheart? If I weren’t allergic to rabbits, I’d snuggle him to bits! Bunnicula is the mascot of the popular “Bunnicula” book series…however, in the original books, he’s not actually the main character. In fact, there are several short novels where Bunnicula never appears. He is, however, nevertheless, a prominent figure throughout the series. The books typically follow a certain formula: Chester the Cat and Harold the Dog encounter some spooky, creepy thing. Chester - an over-dramatic ham who never likes to admit his true feelings and isn’t as smart as he thinks he is - tries to solve the mystery in the most inept and hilarious way possible. Harold, who is much more practical and reasonable, basically acts as the straight man to hold back Chester’s crazy. Bunnicula is, at first, Chester’s arch-nemesis, as the cat believes the vampire bunny has plans for world domination…but in fact, Bunnicula is completely harmless. He doesn’t drink blood, but instead just drains vegetables of their juices, leaving shriveled, dried-up husks behind. It’s a bit creepy, sure, but he has no desire to hurt people or other animals. And, even though he may be centuries old, he’s still basically just a baby bunny; he’s way too young and sweethearted to even imagine world conquest. The books are highly popular - renowned for their messages of tolerance and looking-before-one-leaps - and have been the inspiration for multiple reimaginings and adaptations. Most of these versions give Bunnicula even more vampiric powers and heighten his role in things. Regardless, however, his basic personality remains the same: occasionally mischievous, but generally just a cuddly little bun-bun…who also happens to be an immortal vegetable-draining demon, but that’s just part of his charm.

9. Lestat de Lioncourt, from The Vampire Chronicles.
I don’t think I’m physically ALLOWED to talk about vampires (that are not Dracula) without acknowledging the work of Anne Rice. She is the author of “The Vampire Chronicles,” an EXTREMELY popular series that many consider to be second only to Dracula, in terms of influential literature. The books focus on the life and adventures of Lestat de Lioncourt: a centuries old vampire, living in 1980s America. Once the son of a nobleman, Lestat was transformed into a vampire by an ancient evil; in the modern day, he is now the head of a vampiric rock band. Rice is often credited with revitalizing interest in vampires as a concept, especially focusing on the sexual overtones of the idea, and the sympathetic qualities of a lonely, eternal life. This reputation is…somewhat dubious; as far as I can tell, these things were popular and noteworthy well before her first book was published. In my opinion, the REAL power of Rice’s work is due to two specific factors. First, the explicitness of the writing: her books are some of the raunchiest and most violently bloodthirsty vampire novels written up to that time. Through literature, she gets away with stuff that, up to that point, not even most films - in a genre that was growing increasingly brutal and randy - could get away with. Second, and I think this is where her reputation really shows its power…Lestat himself, and the way he’s treated. It’s not simply that Lestat is a sympathetic character, it’s that - unlike, as far as I can tell, ALL major, noteworthy vampires in fiction before him - he isn’t treated necessarily as a monster. He is not the antagonist, but instead the main character we follow and learn about, as well as learn from. While he is not necessarily a hero, he also isn’t the villain, and is not meant to be seen as such; he is simply a man who has lived a very long life. And like any man, ESPECIALLY one who has lived a long life, he has done many terrible things…but he has also done many good things. Ultimately, I personally find other vampires and vampire stories much more interesting than Rice’s work, but the influence she’s had cannot be ignored. Lestat is more than deserving of recognition in my Top 10.
Tumblr media
8. Vamp, from Metal Gear Solid.
Of all the unconventional vampires on this countdown, Vamp is arguably the weirdest. Rather than a supernatural being, Vamp is what might be termed a “science vampire”: the result of biological experimentation, rather than anything magical or paranormal. Not only that, but despite looking like a vampire, having vampire-like abilities, being of stereotypically vampirish Romanian descent, and even having a literal taste for blood…Vamp’s name has NOTHING to do with him being a “vampire.” (Where does his name come from? Look it up, I find it to be absolutely stupid, so I’m not naming it here.) It’s as if the creators wanted to make a vampire character, yet for some baffling reason didn’t want to make him a “real” vampire. While this whole setup is utterly backwards, it does nothing to harm the actual character, thankfully. Vamp is one of the more well-known antagonists in the MGS series, despite only appearing properly in two games, and a personal favorite of mine (for obvious reasons). He is vicious, mysterious, has a slight flair for the dramatic, and generally is just really, REALLY cool. The most noteworthy thing about Vamp - aside from his superhuman strength and speed, and the fact that he’s REALLY hard to kill - is his skill with knives and daggers. Whether it’s wielding them at close quarters or flinging them about left and right, his abilities with blades make him a particularly frightening foe to take on, and his boss battles are among the more tricky in the titles he appears in. Kudos must also go to voice acting great Phil LaMarr, whose unsettling performance is a big part of the character’s appeal. Whether he’s a “true” vampire or not, Vamp is certainly vampire-themed, and therefore I say still more than counts for the top ten on my list.
Tumblr media
7. Seras Victoria, from Hellsing Ultimate.
I specifically credit “Hellsing Ultimate” because I haven’t watched the original Hellsing anime, nor have I read the manga. With that said, “Hellsing Ultimate” is one of my favorite anime programs, as well as quite possibly the single most violent I’ve ever seen. While the main protagonist of the series is Count Dracula-I mean, Alucard (GREAT way to disguise your identity there, sir), I would argue it’s the apparent secondary protagonist of the series who has the most dynamic story arc. That character is everyone’s favorite “Police Girl,” Seras Victoria. At the start of the show, Seras is a young rookie cop whose squad is attacked by a horde of ghouls, controlled by a villainous vampire. Alucard is only able to save her life by transforming her into a vampire as well. The rest of the series has Seras trying to balance who she is with what she’s become: she not only has to discover how to handle her newfound vampiric powers, but also has to learn and accept what it really means to be a vampire. Some people seem to dismiss Seras as pithy comic relief - she is the most lighthearted character of the main cast - but I feel that’s an extremely unfair assessment: while I admit it took a little time for me to warm up to her, I now feel she’s one of the most interesting characters in the show, second only to Alucard. Seras is earnest and altruistic, at times almost childlike…but she is also more than capable of kicking butt, and is as mighty on the battlefield as virtually any of her comrades. It’s that wonderful dichotomy of her being a good, gentle person and a powerful, stalwart warrior that makes her so enjoyable. It’s rare you’ll find well-written, strong female characters who are able to be impressive physical threats while also still being generally good-hearted human beings, as well as very funny to watch. Seras is such a rarity, and earns all the praise she gets and more for it.
Tumblr media
6. Carmilla.
If there is a single vampire that has been portrayed as often as Dracula…well, factually, there hasn’t been. But if there is one who comes close, it’s the Countess Karnstein: the titular character of the story “Carmilla” by J.S. LeFanu. Her story was, in fact, an influence on Bram Stoker when he created “Dracula.” The story is most well-known because it is heavily, HEAVILY implied that Carmilla is a lesbian: considering the tale was published in the 1870s, it’s kind of amazing that LeFanu got away with that. Of course, the REASON he got away with it is because he depicted the lesbian character as being a literal bloodthirsty monster, but Carmilla, in the book, is also something of a tragic figure. Her feelings for Laura - a young lady who befriends her, not realizing Carmilla wants to make her into her next victim (and probably has the hots for her) - are ultimately unreciprocated, but from Carmilla’s side at least, they seem to be genuine, or at least very passionate. Once she is slain, Laura doesn’t rejoice: she admits that she misses the person she considered a friend, and still has nightmares about the horrible truth itself. The character of Carmilla has appeared multiple times beyond the story, but sadly I haven’t seen many interpretations: Hammer Horror’s “Karnstein Trilogy” of films follow the book to a point, before veering off into wilder territory. In the “Castlevania” franchise, Carmilla is a recurring antagonist, usually serving as Dracula’s rival, follower, or both. She is referenced in “The Batman vs. Dracula” as Dracula’s former bride. In “Fate/Grand Order,” it’s revealed that Carmilla’s true identity is the infamous serial killer Elisabeth Bathory. None of these have ANYTHING to do with LeFanu’s story, but they are certainly intriguing. There are much more faithful versions out there, if you look, but I have not experienced them…yet. I was very tempted to name Carmilla in my Top 5, but ultimately I think there are just more characters, in general, I like more, so she just barely misses out. Sorry, ma’am.
Tumblr media
5. Noe Archiviste, from The Case Study of Vanitas.
If there is a single vampire ALMOST as adorable as the aforementioned Bunnicula, I would argue it’s Noe: one of the main protagonists of the anime “The Case Study of Vanitas.” The show is based on the manga (which I still need to read) by Jun Mochizuki: the creator of my favorite manga (and what SHOULD have been my favorite anime), “Pandora Hearts.” While PH is a reimagining of the “Alice” stories by Lewis Carroll, “Case Study of Vanitas” is an homage to various works of dark period fiction. It contains various references - some more obvious than others - to literary works like “The Island of Dr. Moreau,” classic horror films like “Nosferatu,” and more. The plot is set in a steampunk universe where vampires and humans co-habitate more or less harmoniously. Many vampires in this world are infected with a mysterious curse, which turns them into violent monsters. Noe is a young vampire nobleman, who - while traveling to Paris - ends up becoming a bodyguard for the mysterious Vanitas: a self-proclaimed doctor who uses a magical book to “heal” cursed vampires. At first, the two start off on a very rocky relationship, but as time goes on, they eventually become friends. Noe is wonderful because of the dichotomy of his character: on the one hand, he’s absolutely precious. Seriously. He’s usually friendly, naive, at times a bit dim, tries hard to be polite, loves his pet cat, and is filled with a sense of spellbound wonder at the world around him, showing an excitable playfulness. He’s typically just the most loveable cinnamon bun of a vampire you could ever meet. On the flip side, however…he IS a vampire, and not only that, he’s a POWERFUL vampire. While he’s usually an absolute sweetheart, his patience is not limitless: if Noe is angered, or feels a need to defend himself, he can be TERRIFYING. I really love characters who have that kind of dual nature, and Noe is a great example of it: easily a fine pick for my top five.
Tumblr media
4. David, from The Lost Boys (1987).
It’s hard to believe, given the bad rap he often gets nowadays for movies like “Batman & Robin,” that filmmaker Joel Schumacher was actually considered a highly respected and talented movie master. He, in fact, made a bunch of REALLY good movies in his time, and many would argue that this horror-comedy blend is his best. “The Lost Boys” is considered one of the most influential modern vampire stories, alongside the aforementioned works of Anne Rice, but in a different kind of way: the vampires in the Lost Boys are not elegant, glamorous figures, nor sympathetic immortals tortured by their own eternity. These are what I call “punk vampires”: the main villains are basically your standard biker gang of Goth hoodlums, who love wearing leather, smoking, drinking, causing general street mayhem, and swagger around with cocksure pride in their antics. They just also happen to be vampires, and have all the powers vampire have as a result: extended lifespans, eternal youth, flight, superhuman strength, and various other supernatural abilities. The allure of these vampires comes from their vivacity and fun; there’s a certain “wish fulfillment” aspect to the way the vampires are portrayed in “The Lost Boys,” as they represent all the things people sort of WISH they could do…but the cost of having so much power and access to so many thrills is very high. Nowhere is this better embodied than in the main antagonist, David, played by Kiefer Sutherland. David is a charismatic fellow with a commanding presence and charm. He is the quintessential “bad boy”: a sensual, attractive portrait of raw danger. He is also, however, a murderous psychopath, without a shred of compassion left in his soul. Whenever I think of vampires, David is one of the first characters I imagine, and more than worthy of a spot in my top five.
Tumblr media
3. Genevieve Dieudonne, from the works of Kim Newman.
I say “the works of Kim Newman” because Genevieve was originally created as the heroine of a series of books by Newman called “Drachenfels.” These books are connected to the highly popular “Warhammer” franchise. I know basically nothing about either of these things. So, how is Diuedonne so high up in the ranks? Well, as it turns out, Newman also used the same character as one of the main protagonists of another series I really, REALLY love: “Anno Dracula.” For those who came in late, “Anno Dracula” is set in an alternate universe where Dracula succeeds in taking over England, ultimately turning a large number of the population of Europe into vampires. In many ways, I think the books succeed in doing something that I personally feel other vampire stories that are perhaps more acclaimed - such as the works of Anne Rice - didn’t quite manage for me: they completely humanize the vampires. Vampires in Anno Dracula aren’t treated as monsters inherently; they may drink blood, dislike sunlight, and have certain weaknesses, but at heart, they’re still basically just people. Some are good, some are bad; it really depends on what is in their heart of hearts. Other universes that have come since have taken this idea as well, but “Anno Dracula” is the first I’m aware of, and in my opinion still the best attempt at the idea. Genevieve herself stands as a testament to this philosophy: she is essentially the “Anti-Dracula.” She is even more ancient than the Count, and presumably just as powerful, if not moreso. However, while Dracula is a self-serving villain who seeks power and glory, Genevieve is a good person at heart, who simply tries to do what she feels is best for not only her fellow vampires, but for people as a whole. She has many of Dracula’s abilities and traits we would recognize - being very dramatic in her own way, very cunning, extremely well-educated, and also an experienced warrior - but she has gone in an extremely different direction as a person. I don’t know how the version in the Warhammer universe compares to Genevieve in “Anno Dracula,” but if she’s anything like the one there, it only cements how much she deserves place in my Top 3.
Tumblr media
2. Blade & Morbius, from Marvel.
There are many vampires and vampire-like creatures and characters in the Marvel universe. Dracula himself, as I’ve said in the past, is among those ranks. However, aside from Dracula, two particular vampiric figures stand out amongst the crowd: Blade the Vampire Hunter, and Morbius the Living Vampire. Frank Blade - originally born “Eric Cross” - is a dhampir who has devoted his life to hunting down all the evil vampires of the world, along with many other monsters. His arch-enemies include his “father,” Deacon Frost, and - you guessed it - Count Dracula. He is a brilliant swordsman, marksman, knife-wielder, martial artist, and all-around badass. Michael Morbius, meanwhile, is a sort of “science vampire”: created not by being bitten by a supernatural fiend, but instead mutating as the result of a biochemistry experiment gone wrong. Driven by an insatiable need to consume blood, lest his physical condition - brought on by the experiment - worsen exponentially, Morbius flip-flops between being a sympathetic villain and an anti-hero in the Marvel universe. In the comics, the two have clashed several times; in fact, one particular battle between the pair led to Blade actually gaining some new abilities, as a result of the Living Vampire’s DNA mingling with his own. Outside of the comics, the two have been adapted and reimagined multiple times for other media (with mixed results), though the only time I know of where they MET in other media was the 1990s show “Spider-Man: The Animated Series,” where Blade and Spidey had to work together to stop a rampaging Morbius. Whether you love them together or separately, and whether you prefer the comics or other interpretations, they’re two of the first characters I think of when I think of vampires in general. They are probably the most iconic vampire characters in superhero fiction. That, if nothing else, definitely earns them a high place on my list.
Tumblr media
1. Alucard, from Castlevania.
It is perhaps fitting that a list of my favorite vampire characters NOT including Dracula should finish with the Count’s son. Because that is what Adrian Farenheit Tepes - a.k.a. Alucard - is: the Son of Dracula. Alucard is one of the main protagonists of the Castlevania franchise, having appeared in virtually every reiteration of the franchise: from the classic games, to the “Lords of Shadow” reboot trilogy, to the recent animated streaming programs on Netflix. As the series has evolved and changed over the years, so too has Alucard, but the basics of the character have always remained the same. Alucard is the son of Dracula, and a human woman. When the Count is driven mad by the death of his wife, Alucard is forced to take up arms against his father, to stop the King of the Vampires from spreading death and destruction worldwide. Being a vampire himself (or, at least, half-vampire), Alucard is just as immortal as his father, and nearly as powerful, meaning that - better than any Belmont, or member of the Morris family, or other mortal monster slayer - he can keep a watchful eye on the dark lord and his minions. Alucard is my favorite character of the entire Castlevania franchise, and while every version is slightly different, the simple and yet classic conflict between father and son is a big part of the reason why: in each rendition, you realize each side cares about the other, but their philosophies make it difficult for them to co-exist. As a result, he is one of the most fascinating and yet tragic characters of the series, and is one of the first characters I think of when I think of Castlevania. I don’t know how many other people would place him so highly, but for me, it’s almost no contest placing Alucard as My Number One. If anybody can rival the Prince of Darkness best, it is him.
HONORABLE MENTIONS INCLUDE…
Strahd von Zarovich, from Dungeons & Dragons: Ravenloft.
Not hugely into D&D, hence why I can’t count him on the main list. ‘Nuff said.
Lothos & Amilyn, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992).
I said I couldn’t count the series, never said anything about the movie that inspired it. Played by Rutger Hauer and Paul Reubens, respectively, these vampire villains are probably the funniest characters in the film. Reubens as Amilyn, in particular, gets one of the most hilarious death scenes in any motion picture, period.
The Sackville-Bagg Family, from The Little Vampire.
I’ve never read the book series, but I have a big soft spot for the 2000 film; loved it as a kid, still like it now.
Dio Brando, from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.
I know basically nothing about Jojo, but I felt I had to include him here simply because people would kill me if I didn’t.
Kurt Barlow, from Salem’s Lot (1979).
I’ve never read the original Stephen King novel, but the 1979 miniseries adaptation is pretty much “Dracula in Modern New England.” Reggie Nalder’s Barlow has barely any screentime, but the impact of his actions and evil presence is enormous. Plus, REALLY cool Nosferatu-inspired costume and makeup for the win!
Vladimir, from League of Legends.
Vladimir technically isn’t a vampire, but a blood mage; however, considering he literally has a Nosferatu-inspired alternate look, I think I’m justified at least giving him an Honorable Mention.

The Scottish folk singer Jean Redpath died on August 21st 2014.
Blessed with a sweet but slightly roughened mezzo-soprano as gentle as mist and haunting as the highlands, Jean Redpath was one of the definitive interpreters of Scottish traditional songs. She was also a noted folk music ethnographer who played an important role in the reconstruction of nearly forgotten Scottish songs and was a lecturer at Scotland's Stirling University since 1979, and also lectured regularly at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut and other prominent institutions, including Harvard.
She was born in Fife country outside Edinburgh. Her father played hammered dulcimer, and her mother was well versed in Scottish oral history, most of which was passed from mother to daughter via songs. One of four daughters, their mother passed on the music to each. Her knowledge of the ancient songs proved useful while Redpath was attending the School of Scottish Studies at the University of Edinburgh and had begun formal research into her native ballads and compositions.
In 1961 she immigrated to New York, where she began singing in Greenwich Village coffeehouses. Redpath also gave formal concerts at events such as the Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival and soon became an extremely popular performer on the folk circuit. Not only did they love her unique, sensitive voice, audiences were also impressed by her knowledge about the over 400 songs in her repertoire and the fascinating insights about the music that Redpath offered during her concerts.
In 1963 she sang for the first time at the New School for Social Research and this led her to sign with Elektra, where she recorded through 1975, when she switched to the Vermont-based Philo label. With them she became one of folk music's most prolific recording artists. One of her most notable achievements was an ongoing project to record all of the songs written by Robert Burns. Out of 22 planned volumes, only seven were completed due to the death of producer Serge Hovey. Other well-known Redpath series include a compilation of Scottish songs written by women, including Lady Nairne, if you recall I posted her rendition of one last week.
In addition to recording and performing live, Redpath also appeared on such radio programs as Morning Pro Musica on Boston's WGBH public radio station. Between 1974 and 1987 Redpath was also a regular on Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion radio show. In August 2014 she died from cancer at a hospice in Arizona at the age of 77.

Gross Darkness
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1-2KJV
Are we rapture ready? Back in the 1980s churches were jumping during services, practicing to go up in the rapture. Well, I am a pan-tribulationist, not ‘pre’ nor ‘mid.’ In other words, I can see the interpretation for each of the theories, but reserve the right for God to allow the rapture and tribulation to ‘pan’ out according to His perfect plan and will.
We have a job to do amidst whatever “gross darkness” comes. This job does not allow us to sit on our ‘blessed assurances’ with bags packed or jump up and down in rapture practice children’s games. Time is upon us to grow up into the ‘Bride’ of Christ, John 14:12ESV “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.”
Being a disciple means— ‘an apprentice, adherent, a follower or student of a teacher, leader— (Jesus in this case). In other words, disciples are mimickers, imitators of the teacher. Upgrade the word ‘disciple’ to modern day thinking— Exa: a person becoming an electrician through the electrical union apprenticeship program, can’t fly by what looks good and might work. He must submit to do exactly each instruction as being taught to keep from being electrocuted or burning down a building.
How many disciples, imitators, mimickers of Jesus Christ do we see in our church world today? Occasionally, we might run into a church which expects people to be healed, when they pray for them. Oral Roberts, John G Lake, etc. healing evangelists of the past pioneered our present day healing services, showing even evangelical churches— healing is a vital part of the church today.
Since the Azuza Street’s revival, a hundred plus years ago, \ much of the church —Believers “…began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” Acts 2:4NIV. Holy Spirit baptism— ‘tongues’ are totally rejected by some ‘evangelical streams’ of churches. Yet this is the fastest growing faction in Christ’s church today.
“The LORD shall arise upon” you and me, and His glory shall be seen upon” us. Those years of preparation in healing, in faith, speaking in tongues, loving one another will become infused with the glory of the Lord. Us weird people that have been ostracized as radicals, Jesus freaks will glow with the Light of God’s glory and purpose. We’ll be sought out as hope to the hopeless.
Preparation for what is coming inside the church has been initiated by Holy Spirit. We’ve been reluctantly getting ready for a mass influx of people who are totally done with “gross darkness.” They’re going to come into the church totally confused about whether they’re male, female, cat or dogs bringing their equally confused families. These people will be lost one day in their confusion and the next day suddenly aware there is God Who loves them completely.
Today, we can’t see a cohesiveness in what was, what is, and what’s coming. But— “…we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28ESV.
Everything is going to work out for our good, thus “…we can say with confidence, “The LORD is my Helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” Hebrews 13:6NLT. Do you understand where we are in the reference to the end times? Are you a disciple? It’s your choice. You choose.
LET’S PRAY: Holy God You have worked to orchestrate Your plans and timing for all You are bringing in. Please strengthen us to be Your church in these days of gross darkness, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

What Is a Dental Hygienist
What Is a Dental Hygienist ,Have you ever wondered who cleans your teeth before the dentist comes in to check them? That friendly face who scrapes away plaque, polishes your teeth, and gives you tips about brushing and flossing — that’s a dental hygienist.
Many people don’t realize just how important dental hygienists are to maintaining a healthy smile. They play a big role in keeping your teeth and gums in good condition, helping you avoid bigger dental problems down the road.
In this detailed guide, we’ll explain what a dental hygienist is, what they do, how they’re different from dentists, how to become one, and why they’re such an important part of your dental care team.
Tumblr media
What Is a Dental Hygienist?
We all know that visiting the dentist is important for healthy teeth and gums. But during your visit, you’ve probably noticed another member of the team — the one who cleans your teeth and talks to you about how to take care of them at home.
So, what is a dental hygienist?
A dental hygienist is a specially trained oral healthcare professional who works alongside a dentist. They focus on preventive care, meaning they help you keep your mouth clean and catch early signs of problems before they turn serious.
They’re not dentists — they don’t perform surgeries, fill cavities, or extract teeth — but they are highly skilled and play a vital role in keeping your smile healthy. They’re the ones who make sure your teeth are sparkling clean and educate you on how to maintain good habits at home.
What Does a Dental Hygienist Do?
Many people think a dental hygienist only cleans teeth. While that’s a big part of their job, they actually do much more than that.
✅ Remove plaque and tartar: Using special tools, they clean off the sticky buildup (plaque) and hardened deposits (tartar) that brushing and flossing alone can’t remove.
✅ Polish your teeth: After cleaning, they polish your teeth to make them smooth and shiny, which also helps prevent future plaque buildup.
✅ Take dental X-rays: Hygienists are trained to take and sometimes even interpret dental X-rays to help the dentist check for hidden problems.
✅ Check for gum disease: They examine your gums to look for signs of inflammation, bleeding, or infection.
✅ Teach proper oral hygiene: From showing you the right way to floss to giving you tips on which toothbrush to use, hygienists are your go-to experts for home care advice.
✅ Apply fluoride and sealants: To strengthen your teeth and prevent cavities, they may apply fluoride treatments or sealants, especially for children.
✅ Keep detailed records: Hygienists also record your dental history and treatment progress, making it easier for the dentist to plan your care.
In short, what does a dental hygienist do? They help keep your entire mouth healthy and prevent small problems from becoming big, expensive ones.
Dental Hygienist vs. Dentist: What’s the Difference?
Some people confuse the roles of a hygienist and a dentist. While both are important, they focus on different parts of your care.
Here’s a quick comparison
What Happens During a Visit With a Dental Hygienist?
When you go for a dental check-up, the first person you usually meet is the hygienist. Here’s what a typical appointment with a hygienist includes:
1️⃣ Review of your medical and dental history. 2️⃣ Examination of your teeth and gums. 3️⃣ Dental X-rays, if needed. 4️⃣ Removal of plaque and tartar. 5️⃣ Polishing your teeth. 6️⃣ Checking for signs of cavities, gum disease, or oral cancer. 7️⃣ Fluoride treatment, if necessary. 8️⃣ Advice on brushing, flossing, and diet.
By the time the dentist comes in, the hygienist has already done the groundwork, making it easier for the dentist to focus on any specific concerns.
How to Become a Dental Hygienist
If you’re interested in a career as a dental hygienist, here are the usual steps:
🎓 Finish high school: Take courses in biology, chemistry, and health sciences. 🎓 Enroll in a dental hygiene program: This is usually a 2–3 year course at a college or university, covering anatomy, oral health, and practical skills. 📝 Get licensed: After completing your program, you’ll need to pass a licensing exam in your country or state. 📚 Continue learning: Many hygienists take workshops and additional courses to stay updated on new techniques.
It’s a rewarding career if you enjoy working with people and want to help them stay healthy.
Can a Dental Hygienist Crack a Tooth?
Some people worry that a hygienist might damage their teeth during a cleaning. The good news is: No, a hygienist won’t crack your tooth.
They’re trained to clean your teeth gently and carefully. If a tooth already has a crack, decay, or weakness, it may feel sensitive or even break later — but that’s because of its condition, not the hygienist’s work.
If you feel any pain or discomfort during cleaning, don’t hesitate to tell them. They can adjust their technique or check if something else is wrong.
How Much Does It Cost to See a Dental Hygienist?
The cost of seeing a dental hygienist depends on where you live, the type of cleaning you need, and your dental clinic.
Here are some approximate costs in India:
💰 Basic cleaning: ₹500–₹1500 💰 Deep cleaning (if needed): ₹2000–₹4000 💰 Dental X-rays: ₹300–₹800
Most people visit a hygienist every 6 months for a check-up and cleaning. While it might feel like an extra expense, it actually saves you money in the long run by preventing costly treatments later.
Why Are Dental Hygienists So Important?
Dental hygienists are a crucial part of keeping your mouth — and even your whole body — healthy. Here’s why:
✅ They help prevent cavities and gum disease. ✅ They catch early signs of oral health issues. ✅ They educate you on good habits that last a lifetime. ✅ They save you money by avoiding major dental procedures. ✅ They make your visits to the dentist quicker and more effective.
Next time you visit your dentist, don’t forget to thank the hygienist too — they’re just as important in giving you a healthy, confident smile!
Conclusion
They’re the caring professionals who clean your teeth, check your gums, teach you better habits, and keep your smile bright and healthy. While they work quietly behind the scenes, their role is vital in keeping dental problems at bay and making your visits to the dentist smoother and less stressful.
Whenever you sit in the dental chair and see that smiling face ready with their tools, you’ll know — that’s your hygienist, your teeth’s best friend!
So keep up with your regular appointments, follow their advice, and keep smiling — because thanks to your dental hygienist, you’re in great hands. for more details:https://kidznteenz.in/pediatric-dentistry-in-chennai/

Navigating the Nuances of Language: The Value of IB MYP English Tutors
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) is a rigorous framework designed to foster critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and interdisciplinary understanding in students aged 11 to 16. Within this comprehensive program, English Language and Literature plays a pivotal role, challenging students to not only master the intricacies of the English language but also to engage deeply with diverse texts and express themselves with clarity and sophistication. For many students, the demands of the MYP English curriculum can be significant, making the guidance of a dedicated IB MYP English tutor an invaluable asset.
Why IB MYP English is Unique and Challenging
The MYP English Language and Literature course goes beyond traditional grammar lessons and basic comprehension. It encourages students to:
Develop analytical skills: Students are expected to critically analyze a wide range of literary and non-literary texts, identifying themes, literary devices, and authorial intent.
Cultivate effective communication: The program emphasizes both written and spoken communication, requiring students to express ideas clearly, coherently, and persuasively in various forms.
Embrace interdisciplinary connections: English is often linked to other MYP subjects, fostering a holistic understanding of concepts and encouraging students to draw connections across disciplines.
Foster intercultural understanding: Through the study of diverse narratives and perspectives, students develop empathy and an appreciation for different cultures.
Engage in inquiry-based learning: The MYP encourages students to ask questions, explore ideas independently, and take ownership of their learning.
These multifaceted demands can be overwhelming for some students, particularly those transitioning into the MYP or facing specific learning challenges.
The Role and Benefits of an IB MYP English Tutor
An IB MYP English tutor serves as a personalized guide, offering tailored support to help students excel. Their expertise goes beyond simply explaining concepts; they help students develop the critical thinking and communication skills essential for success in the MYP and beyond. Here are some key benefits:
Personalized Learning: Tutors can identify a student's specific strengths and weaknesses, creating customized lesson plans that address individual learning styles and needs. This targeted approach ensures that students receive support where they need it most, whether it's in textual analysis, essay writing, or oral presentations.
Deepening Understanding: Tutors can break down complex literary works, explaining themes, character development, and cultural contexts in an accessible and engaging manner. They help students move beyond rote learning to develop a deeper and more nuanced understanding of the subject matter.
Developing Critical Thinking: MYP English tutors emphasize analytical and evaluative skills, providing students with strategies to dissect texts, formulate arguments, and support their interpretations with evidence.
Mastering Assessment Criteria: Tutors are familiar with the specific assessment criteria of the IB MYP, including eAssessments, Personal Projects, and Interdisciplinary Units. They can guide students in understanding what is expected of them and provide targeted feedback to improve their performance.
Building Confidence: One-on-one tutoring sessions create a safe and supportive environment where students can ask questions freely, make mistakes, and receive constructive feedback without fear of judgment. This boosts their confidence in expressing their ideas and tackling challenging assignments.
Effective Time Management: The MYP demands strong organizational and time management skills. Tutors can help students plan their study schedules, manage assignments, and prepare effectively for exams.
Preparation for the DP: Success in MYP English lays a strong foundation for the demanding IB Diploma Programme (DP). Tutors can help bridge any learning gaps and prepare students for the increased academic rigor of the DP.
What to Look for in an IB MYP English Tutor
Choosing the right tutor is crucial for a positive and effective learning experience. Consider the following factors:
IB Expertise: Look for tutors who have direct experience teaching the IB MYP English Language and Literature curriculum, ideally with a background as an IB educator or examiner. They should be familiar with the MYP philosophy, assessment objectives, and pedagogical approaches.
Strong Subject Knowledge: A tutor should possess a deep understanding of English language and literature, including various literary genres, analytical frameworks, and writing conventions.
Personalized Teaching Approach: The best tutors adapt their methods to suit the student's learning style, offering flexible and engaging sessions.
Communication Skills: Effective tutors are excellent communicators who can explain complex concepts clearly, listen attentively to student concerns, and provide constructive feedback.
Proven Track Record: Inquire about their success rate, testimonials from other IB students, or their ability to help students achieve their academic goals.
Availability and Flexibility: Ensure the tutor's schedule aligns with your needs, especially if you require online sessions or specific timings.
Finding an IB MYP English Tutor
Numerous options exist for finding qualified IB MYP English tutors:
Online Tutoring Platforms: Platforms like TutorChase, Think Smart, and Sev7n specialize in IB tutoring, offering a wide pool of experienced online tutors. These platforms often provide trial sessions, detailed tutor profiles, and secure learning environments.
Local Tutoring Centers: Many cities have tutoring centers that cater to IB students.
School Recommendations: Your child's school or English teacher may be able to recommend qualified tutors.
Word-of-Mouth: Ask other parents or students for recommendations.
While costs can vary, typically ranging from ₹500 to ₹5000 per hour in India depending on experience and platform, the investment in an expert IB MYP English tutor can yield significant returns in terms of academic achievement, enhanced confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the power of language and literature.

The Role of Arts Education in Cultural Preservation
Tumblr media
In today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world, it's easy to forget the importance of our cultural heritage. As societies modernize and globalize, cultural traditions, languages, and customs can sometimes get lost along the way. One powerful tool for safeguarding these vital aspects of human identity is arts education. Through music, dance, visual arts, and other creative expressions, the arts play a crucial role in preserving cultural heritage and fostering a sense of community. This preservation not only celebrates the past but ensures that future generations continue to understand and appreciate their roots.
Arts education has a profound impact on cultural preservation. It serves as both a repository and a dynamic vehicle for passing down stories, rituals, and traditions. Historically, many cultural practices were transmitted orally or through hands-on apprenticeships. Today, arts education continues this tradition in classrooms, workshops, and community centers around the world, allowing students to engage directly with their cultural heritage. This form of learning provides an invaluable space for individuals to connect with their history in meaningful ways, forming a bridge between generations.
One of the most prominent champions of arts education in the context of cultural preservation is Mia Martin. As an advocate for the arts and education, Mia has dedicated much of his life to empowering communities through creative learning. His efforts have been pivotal in fostering an understanding of how crucial the arts are to keeping cultural practices alive. Mia understands that arts education is not just about learning a skill or mastering an instrument—it's about understanding the stories and values that have shaped societies for centuries.
Through his work, mia martin palm beach photo has recognized that art is more than just a reflection of culture; it is also a powerful force for change. By teaching younger generations the techniques, stories, and traditions that form the backbone of their cultures, he believes we can ensure that these legacies don’t fade into obscurity. In a world where young people are often distracted by the allure of the latest technology and social media trends, arts education offers a tangible, hands-on way to reconnect with deeper, more meaningful aspects of life.
For example, in many indigenous communities, storytelling through art plays an essential role in preserving traditions and wisdom. In the past, elders would pass down their knowledge to younger generations using art forms like painting, weaving, and music. In today's world, arts education provides a platform for these practices to be preserved and shared with a wider audience, ensuring that ancient customs are not only maintained but also respected by younger generations.
The inclusion of arts education in schools and communities can also help revitalize declining cultures. For instance, a community that has been displaced or marginalized may feel disconnected from their heritage. Arts education programs can create an avenue for these individuals to explore their roots, reconnect with their identity, and gain confidence in their cultural contributions. This reawakening of cultural pride can spark a movement of cultural revitalization, empowering communities to take pride in their heritage while also showcasing their richness to the world.
Moreover, arts education fosters creativity and innovation. When students are taught to appreciate art and its connection to culture, they often begin to see themselves as creators. This sense of ownership and pride in their cultural heritage encourages students to contribute new ideas and interpretations to the arts, enriching their cultural landscape. As Mia Martin emphasizes, the evolution of culture is not about preserving the past exactly as it was; it's about embracing that history and using it as a foundation for the future.
Incorporating diverse cultural expressions into arts education also provides a sense of unity and shared understanding among different communities. The exposure to various art forms from around the world can create an appreciation for cultural diversity, helping to foster empathy and respect among individuals. When students learn about different cultures through art, they not only preserve the heritage of their own communities but also become ambassadors for understanding and mutual respect on a global scale.
The importance of arts education in cultural preservation extends beyond the classroom. Community-based programs, galleries, and cultural festivals all provide additional spaces where art can be used to celebrate heritage. These events allow people to interact with art on a more personal level, experience the beauty of cultural expressions firsthand, and form a deeper connection with their own identities. Mia Martin's work extends into these areas, where he collaborates with local artists and educators to bring arts education into public spaces, making it accessible to all members of society.
Through these initiatives, Mia has worked tirelessly to help communities find innovative ways to engage with the arts and use them as a tool for preserving cultural knowledge. Whether through online platforms that bring arts education into homes or through in-person workshops that connect elders with younger generations, Mia’s efforts have demonstrated that arts education is not a luxury—it's a necessity.
By nurturing creativity, cultural pride, and a deep respect for history, arts education has the power to keep cultural traditions alive, even in the face of globalization and modernization. The legacy of art and culture is not static; it is living, breathing, and ever-evolving. In this regard, Mia Martin’s advocacy for arts education is a testament to the enduring importance of preserving our collective cultural heritage for generations to come.
In conclusion, the role of arts education in cultural preservation cannot be overstated. Through the work of passionate individuals like Mia Martin, communities worldwide are recognizing the importance of passing down their cultural legacies. By continuing to support and invest in arts education, we ensure that these traditions will not only survive but thrive, providing future generations with a deeper connection to their heritage and the knowledge to shape a better, more inclusive world.
