Looking back on this from 2024, I feel like I should think about the lasting impacts of childhood physical therapy.

AGH, TMNT headcanons will be my downfall

Now I’m thinking of expanding on the chapter one-shots from “Ouroboros”. Particularly “The Shield And The Light.” Like, how does the family work with Mikey having two broken legs, several broken ribs, broken arm, and endless grumbling about why he isn’t allowed to just heal himself in one big telekinetic burst because he doesn’t care if it’s potentially fatal.

One thing I love about Michelangelo is that he loves to whine and complain about the silliest things because he is optimistic enough to know all is well. Even when he’s injured.

In “Crossfire” I made him whine so hard about doing katas while wearing his leg braces and it took me back to my childhood physical therapy with cerebral palsy. I was pulled out of classes and isolated. So I specifically brought Mikey’s whole family in so he wouldn’t be isolated, mocked, or considered weak. It works much better with siblings willing to help and joyfully tease back to health.

Creepy Cases of Casper High (Hunters, Dragons, and Damsels In Distress!)

Hello hello my cherished readers! Sorry its been so long since I shared my last case report. Just been busy with life and doing research in general to make sure I've got my facts straight. Anywho, to anyone who is just joining us now here's a bit of a refresher. Last time I shared a case with you guys we were discussing Casper High's very first major ghost sighting of a huge monster made of meat! The official second sighting looks like it might have been more of a one off thing along with the third but I decided to include them anyway since I feel like all of them are important if we want to get a better picture of just how haunted this town is. It happened to Mikey in the library. He went to use one of the computer's in the school library to work on an assignment and ran into someone he didn't realize at the time was a ghost who turned around and attacked him! Luckily Mikey wasn't hurt, just gagged and hung upside-down by some kind of energy net that vanished into thin air a few seconds later.

According to Mikey once he calmed down enough to remember exactly what the ghost said to him, he referred to himself as Skulker. This might only be a code name though so I'll have to look into this further for another article.

Moving onto the third ghost sighting at Casper High this one is pretty incredible if you as me! Why? Because it was the first close up sighting of Danny Phantom himself and an honest to goodness dragon! A ghost dragon! That can only mean one thing folks, dragons are real is now confirmed! I mean think about it. How could there be a ghost of a dragon if there was never a living one at some point flying around?

But moving on...

Before I dive into our next story I'd like to preface this by saying most of these are based entirely on witness accounts that vary a lot in levels of detail which is totally understandable when you think about it. It's kinda hard to pay attention to the specifics when you're running for your life from a huge gout of green flames from the maw of a ghost dragon! Moving onto the case report itself the first reported sighting of this dragon was apparently at the Amity Park Mall in the Abyss clothing store.

There was a sale on the entire discontinued line of Fleecy-T blouses and somehow or another a customer wound up possessed and transformed in front of the very eyes of the acting manager on call at the time. Paulina said she sorta remembers being there that day too but was too excited about managing to guy the very last shirt they had left in her size to really pay attention to what happened when she left the store.

The second sighting of the same dragon was on campus that night at Casper High where it destroyed the girls bathroom (although this wasn't discovered until later the next day by the janitor cleaning up the mess left by the first dance of the school year) then flew off to the football field where our next two witnesses, Dash and Tiffanie, saw Danny Phantom rescuing Paulina. My guess is he saved Paulina from the dragon at some point when the bathroom was wrecked which would explain why she was out cold at the time. The dragon was then defeated by our local ghost hero and the rest as they say is history! I also wonder how they replaced that whole row of bleachers...?

To end things off, I found out there was another ghost sighting the same night by Tucker Foley and the DJ in charge of the school dance's music. Tucker didn't tell me much apart from that he was really taken aback when this ghost girl just floated up to him, insisting on enjoying the last dance with him. As for the DJ, he noticed them while getting ready to pack up his gear once the last song finished and noticed the girl Tucker was dancing with looked out of place in her get-up, aka a medieval styled gown not to mention her feet were literally gliding across the dance floor. Well, assuming they had been ever touching the ground to begin with!

Tucker tells me she was surprisingly mellow and sweet but at the time his nerves were a bit frazzled from trying to help his best friend Danny Fenton keep his parents from getting too talkative about certain happenings at school. The rest of their little waltz is a bit of blur though so Tucker couldn't tell me any more than that. As for why Danny's parents were chaperoning the dance I'll leave that to your imagination since I doubt it's a very fond memory for the poor guy.

But there you have it! I really wanted to make up for my long absence here's three Creepy Cases of Casper High all rolled up into one! And now that puts our total of ghost encounters so far at 4! First was the meat ghost, second was this ghost hunter guy Skulker, third was the dragon, and fourth was this mysterious ghost girl who according to Tucker's description of her might have been nobility or maybe even a princess! Not only that but she bears a striking similarity to the ghost dragon as far as their color aesthetic so could the two of them be connected somehow? Looks like that is yet another case for me to take a closer look into for a future post!

TokRev Bois with Superpowers

A/N: Hey hey y'all! This idea sprung up on me while I was perusing the Superhero Database and I wanted to share it wit y'all! I tried to keep the bois powers as cohesive as possible (although admittedly, Mikey's sonic scream is kinda random 'cus the idea just ran into me full speed and wouldn't let go 🙃) and I tried to keep the number of powers limited. Let me know what y'all think! Enjoy!

Mikey:

- Sonic Scream

- Heightened spatial and kinesthetic awareness 

Results from his martial arts training.

- Peak Human Physical Condition

Also courtesy of his formal training and all the fighting he does.

- Nigh Invulnerability 

Manjiro is nearly impervious to all forms of damage, be it physical or emotional. The only materials known to be able to cause him lasting physical damage are Tungsten and Moissanite. 

Draken:

- Super Strength

- Strength Augmentation 

This augmentation can be self-applied or used to temporarily empower others.

- Superhuman Durability 

Ken has a superhumanly durable body. As a result of this, he is able to shake off with relative ease blows that would normally shatter the bone of other normal human beings. 

Baji:

- Shape-shifting 

Can shape shift into nearly any conceivable living creature, but must possess knowledge of and be able to visualize the creature in order to shift into it.

- Berserk Mode 

Primarily stemming from his animalistic instincts, Keisuke has the ability to enter a 'Berserk Mode,' which temporarily grants him enhanced speed, durability and strength in whatever form he's taken.

- Camouflage 

By consciously tapping into the power of the chameleon (an animal which he can shapeshift into), this ability allows Keisuke to seamlessly blend into his surroundings, whether that be walls, foliage, people, etc.

Sanzu:

- Bloodlust 

Beyond the general intense focus that accompanies it, this state greatly increases the keenness of Haruchiyo's senses, enabling him to see, feel and hear things beyond his normal limited human capacity.

- Blood Manipulation 

Similar to bloodbending, Haruchiyo can manipulate the blood of others, although dissimilarly from the aforementioned bending, Haruchiyo can only manipulate the blood once it has exited the body of the target, including his own.

The extracted blood can then be used to create a number of tools and utilities, including keys, lockpicks and weapons.

- Master Swordsman 

Hanma:

- Decay Embodiment 

Shuji can manipulate aspects of death such as rot, dust, mold and of course, the titular decay. This ability is a variation of life force manipulation, and as such, Shuji can even cause the soul of a person to begin rotting or decaying. 

- Enhanced Durability 

Shuji possesses an incredibly durable body that can withstand blows that would normally break the bone of others less hardwearing.

Izana:

- Chaos Manipulation

Izana’s ability of Chaos Manipulation allows him to, in a sense, alter the very fabric of reality. He can shape the likelihood of events happening, and control whether they do or don’t. Subsequently, there’s not really a limit to what Izana can accomplish with this power.

Kazutora:

- Atmokinesis (the ability to psionically control the weather)

This ability, along with Kazutora’s other power, is tied heavily to his emotional state. Because Kazutora is volatile emotionally, he sometimes cannot control this ability well, and has the potential to do major amounts of damage if not careful. 

- Elemental Transformation 

This power allows Kazutora to change the chemical and physical makeup of his body into any one of the four main elements, those being Earth, Air, Fire and Water. These states are tied to his emotions: for example, being angry will cause his body to heat rapidly, eventually catching fire, being calm or in a deep state of relaxation will cause his body to harden like stone/earth, etc.

Kisaki: 

- Telepathy 

Tetta is a telepath. He can read and sense the emotions of others to a heightened degree, as well as hear people’s thoughts and detect when they are lying.

- Necromancy 

Tetta possesses the ability to telepathically commune with the souls of deceased animals and humans, allowing him to temporarily call them back to their bodies. During the period in which the deceased are “called,” they are completely subservient to Tetta’s whims. In order for Tetta to call upon the soul of a deceased creature, he need be in the vicinity of the body/place of burial of the creature.

- Latent Abilities 

Tetta, as a by-product of his telepathic abilities, possesses also the ability to influence objects in his immediate environment either willingly or unwillingly, based on his emotional state (i.e anger causes objects to shake and shatter, sadness causes objects, like flowers, to wilt and lose vitality or color, anxiety and alternatively joy causes objects to float, etc.)

Okay since we're doing some psionic talk i obviously need to cover the dangerous psychic power of all... The power of mind control. Whether it be possession,brainwashing,hypnosis,or some kind of corruption or puppeteering it's a very scary concept done up in a lot of ways. And to show just how many ways one can bend a mind to their whim were gonna look at 2012 tmnt and see every time(to my memory) that the hamato clan got mentally manipulated and controlled in some way shape or form... Keep in mind despite it being the show i know the most about im not a picture perfect record of all of 2012 turtle shenanigans so i might miss some ones.

But let's start going by season with what i remember mind control wise. And what better place to start then with season 1

Season 1

I'll say it right away... Every single season has at least some mind control element to it.

But our very first look at mind control comes from season 1s rat king himself. Dr falco had the power to control any kind of rat, which sadly included the turtles beloved sensei himself.

The next(and final) mind control comes to us in the form of a mutated insect. A parasitic wasp that once it stings you will make you it's slave to it's egg(and if that infected person bites someone they get infected as well and can spread it) ultimately the slave's fate is to get eaten by the baby that comes from the egg. This was also a case of 1 against against 3 controlled. This time it was mikey vs his bros and he ended up curing them. But that's season 1 down and a decent start of the tally(yes at the end of this post we have a tally for who has been messed with the most)

Season 2

And this time we have not 1 but two cases of 1 brother against the others(and the last time i think we'll see mikey solo saving his brothers) as well as what might be the very first time we ever see mystic powers in 2012 period.

But let's start with who came before the mystical evil spirit... Pizzaface(one of the only times i see no complaints from anyone about mikeys naming of the mutant. The man even complimented mikey for his name) in this case pizza face brainwashed all of new york city(so a much bigger step then just controlling 3 trained ninjas or a master rat sensei)with brainwashing(and living!) pizza that would eventually make his pizza craving zombies not only follow his command but also get eaten by him... If we didn't see pizzaface again in season 4 or his tony form after mikey ate most of his body(and yes that means mikey ate a man. We have one mikey who we know technically killed an evil man(his father) and one who ate an evil man(the pizza man who i think is where the turtles usually got their pizza) I'm not gonna try to count all of 2003 mikeys crimes let's leave that to processionals) i would understand everyone thinking mikey made it up. But he didn't and now we all wonder if they ever found out(probably if he took a pic of pizzaface in the episode he met mondo)

Our final case of successful mind control happens to also be the first time we see mystic mind control(we won't see that again for awhile) as well as our first seeing of the mystic arts. The evil chinese spirit Ho chan. Who btw is from the very episode who started my crusade of looking into all the tomes they got messed with. Ho chan came to pop up when the purple dragons(who are literally not even the main character's this episode according to the wiki. They're side characters) released him from a dagger he was imprisoned in. He planned to drain april of her psychic powers and even gave power to the 3 dragons who released him(and those cool hats you see on the turtles) before eventually taking them away and instead giving the powers of wind,lightning and thunder to mikey,leo and raph respectively. Leaving donnie to be the one fighting 3 mind called bros this time. Only they're toted as being invincible and he has help in the form of casey(who he doesn't even get along with and is still in the 'there gonna fight to be April's boyfriend' phase of their lives) but since it was so close to the episodes end we didn't get allot of time for these guys.

Christ this is a long section On to season 3!

Season 3

Why am i counting the speed demon car? Well it did control donnies body and mutated him when it ate him and merged themselves(that and i have another case of this later on as well. We can also count this as corroptive) but the highlight of this season(and probably one of the more notorious mind control things) is the genetically engineered brainworms made by stockman that not only took control of some of the hamato clans allies but also raph and karai as well(leading eventually to the literal saw parody where everyone could have died even more) thankfully we don't see these guys ever again after this season to my memory. At least we know healing hands apparently helps you detox and purge an actual mutant worm that looks like it burrows into your eye.

Onto season 4. And it might shock you.

Season 4

This time we're discussing the corruption type of mind control. And a little possession on the side. As well as the most psychic based mind control we've seen in the series(which is interesting... Might add that to my list of tallies for this post) but here we have the aeon home planet and an aeon herself. Za naron(or of your a marvel nerd, aprils dark phoenix saga. As well as further evidence all sentient psychic forces or spirits love to bond/possess and almost always corrupt red haired psychics!)

The planet itself mostly just amplifies your existing anger while also making you angry in return(i think that had to do with the actual item april got a piece of that eventually corrupted her. The soul star) but that anger is enough to make someone hurt and nearly kill there friends and family.

And when it comes to za naron her spirit inside the star was corrupted and so april also eventually got corrupted till za naron got majority custody and donnie got atomized for the majority of the 2 parter.

Yeah this might be a good reason to not give a mind controlled slave person enchantments or powers.

But let's move onto the final season. Season 5

Season 5

(If i didn't have a 10 photo limit you'd dracula as well) season 5 not only has the most mind control instances for us to see but also the last few instances of mystic control and a corruptive one as well.

Let's start with jei. In ways he's both stronger and weaker than ho shen. Stronger in that his mind control happened multiple times and he literally pulled the turtles into a crossover between dimensions.... But weaker in the fact that he didn't give them any extra oomf like shen did back in season 2. Either jei couldn't because he's still a mortal and bound by flash,he had confidence in their abilities even while puppeted,or he was paranoid enough not to do so.

The last mystic controller is A case of supernatural mind control that resulted in enchantments. it's dracula himself. Overwriting peoples personalities and controlling them. Making vampires. He even got 4 of the hamatos before mikey killed him and saved everyone dracula controlled(which is the final time i remember where mikey saves people from mind control) but we still have one more

Mutant apocalypse leo. Whose is a very large example of being corrupted. In this case very similar to the aeon planet he was a rage machine.

And now we can finally tally up the scores.

11 mind controls throughout 5 seasons. And out of the 11(with some taking multiple slots)

6 are scientific and or engineered(jesus)

6 are corruptive

3 are mystical

3 are psionic

1 is posession

And for how many times each hamato got corrupted

Raph takes the trauma trophy for being messed with a grand total of 7 out of 11 times(lord i wanna hug him. Or make mikey hug him)

Leo comes in hot with a solid 6 out of 11 tones so this is one trauma trophy the fearless leader doesn't get

Donnie comes in next with a tie in for leos score with a 6 out of 11. Can anyone say 2012 disaster twins!

And mikey comes in last of his brothers with a total of 3 out of 11. Quite commendable but not the lowest score

April comes in tied with mikey with a 3 out of 11.

And casey has a solid 2 out of 11... But we have someone even lower.

Master splinter takes the golden cheesicle for only getting sucessfully mind controlled 1 time out of 11!

It makes me sad that people still don’t know what Mikey’s ‘thing’ is.

I was watching Tales and they flat out have someone asks what his thing is if Leo is the Leader, Raph is the tough one and Donnie is the smart one.

I see people asking to this day what his role on the team is.

I remember a review when Rise came out asking if all the characters are funny party dudes, what makes Mikey stand out?

It drives me cuckoo with a side of bananas.

Yes,Mikey is the Goof off, yes he’s the jokester, yes he’s the chill one but he’s so so much more than that.

Across every iteration of Tmnt, there has always been a major trait unique to Mikey.

His heart!

Mikey is the HEART.

The most empathetic of the brothers,

the most emotionally intelligent.

The one always willing to reach out and help someone

Even if he has to go against his own FATHER!

The sunshine in the dark!

The emotional center!

although you went to a regular, non-jujutsu school, you were still called in by the jujutsu tech school to take on special grade missions from time to time because of your powers. before leaving, you left mikey, your boyfriend, at the campus, since he couldn't accompany you, much to his dismay. he might be powerful enough to take down the toughest delinquents and gangs out there, but his strength wasn't a match for curses since he lacked cursed energy and chaos magic. taking him with you would mean putting his life at risk. mikey gets pouty every time you have to leave for a mission, and you always have to promise him that you'll come back safe and sound.

anyway, the mission took place in shibuya and it just so happened to be nearby a bike shop. as soon as you spotted the alleyway wherein an innate domain of a special grade curse was residing, you hopped off the black car that ijichi was driving.

"i've already put up the curtain. you may now enter the building." ijichi informed you, slightly nodding. "please, be careful."

"i will, ijichi-san. thank you! i'll be back before you know it." you nodded curtly in response, smiling before disappearing into a red mist.

according to ijichi during the car ride, your mission was to retrieve a special cursed grade object. the said object was being held by a special grade curse. it didn't take you long to reach where the cursed spirit was. you easily broke through the domain with blasts of red psionics. however, unlike the cursed spirits you encounter every day, this one wasn't afraid of you. in fact, it boldly challenged you. 

using your red psionics, you maneuvered your way, effortlessly evading the attacks that were sent on your way by levitating in the air and simultaneously sending large blasts to retaliate. it was a heated battle between you and the special grade curse, but suddenly something happened. the innate domain changed. the change in atmosphere caught you off guard, and the next thing you knew, an attack was sent your way.

you were flung back from the impact and braced yourself for another, but a ghost that came out of nowhere decided to shield you for some reason. lifting your glowing red eyes, you found mikey, or someone who looked just like him, standing in front of you protectively as the special grade curse charged.

"MIKEY! NO!"

you screamed out of instinct and worry. with your emotions amplified, black-streaked red psionics attacked the special grade curse, but it didn't stop there. your desire to save the ghost made your chaos magic subconciously do its work.

as soon as the impact of the blast subsided, you ran up towards the ghost in concern and gasped. you had accidentally given them a physical body that was tied to your magic and placed their spirit in it, or in short, you resurrected them by mistake. 

you rushed to their side, almost panicking in the process. you were in for another shock when you came face-to-face with him. you were right about him looking just like mikey, except he had black hair instead of blonde, and he definitely looked much older than your boyfriend. 

"you called me mikey." he lifted his black eyes to look at you. "how do you know my brother's name?"

before you could even answer his question, his realization of being alive came to his senses, and his eyes widened. "wait, how am i alive?! what the hell? are you okay, miss?"

"i'm fine, thank you." you blinked at him, nodding your head slowly. "here, let me help you up."

as soon as your hand made contact with his, your chaos magic delved into his thoughts and, through them, you immediately found out who this previous ghost was. his name was shinichiro, and he was the dead older brother that mikey told you about. 

"you're shinichiro." you uttered in surprise, "you're mikey's older brother.."

he looked at you with the same surprised expression. "you still haven't answered me. how do you know my brother?"

"well, uh, i read your thoughts." you answered truthfully in an awkward manner. "and i'm dating mikey."

"my little brother has a girlfriend now?!" shinichiro's mouth hung in agape, "holy sh!t, that's right. he's probably fifteen now—of course."

just as you were about to speak to him, shinichiro had bombarded you with questions as he stood up on his feet with your help. "how am i alive right now? what was that thing earl—the entire place is changing again! are you seeing this, miss?"

"it's because i exorcised the cursed spirit. exorcising spirits undos the innate domain." you explained briefly, "and as for the 'resurrecting you' part, that's one of my powers as a witch or sorceress."

"cursed spirits? witches? those things really exist?" shinichiro gapped like a fish at the newfound information. "wait, what's that over there?" he pointed at a distance.

"ah, crap. the cursed object! i almost forgot i was on a mission." you scrambled your way towards the cursed object that was left behind after the cursed spirit had been exorcised. using your chaos magic, you picked it up and stored it. "thank goodness it's still in one piece! i mean, it's not like it can be destroyed that easily in the first place."

you made your way back towards shinichiro and to your surprise, he suddenly flung his arms around you.

"shinichiro-san?" you were evidently confused.

"i know you said it was an accident that you brought me back, but thank you. thank you so much." shinichiro hugged you tighter, prompting a smile from you. "i'm forever in your debt!"

"it's no problem. perhaps meeting you and bringing you back must be fate." you told him, smiling.

"that reminds me, i still haven't gotten the name of my sister-in-law." a smile broke through his face as he pullled away. shinichiro chuckled as he watched a blush spread across your cheekbones.

"the name's [name]. fushiguro, [name]." you stammered, bowing your head in respect.

"it's an honor to meet you, [name]." shinichiro proceeded to smile at you.

"likewise, shinichiro-san—oh, that reminds me! now that my mission is finished, mikey's waiting. we need to head back, now!"

before shinichiro could even react, you used your chaos magic to teleport the two of you back into ijichi's car. the poor man got jumpscared when you didn't come back alone. explaining to him that what had happened was only the beginning; there was a lot more to do as soon as you arrived on campus. In fact, during the car ride, you had to explain to shinichiro about the existence of cursed spirits and jujutsu sorcerers, as well as your identity and powers as the scarlet witch, and then he asked about mikey, from how he was to what his little brother was like as a boyfriend.

"say, shinichiro-san." you began, causing the older sano to turn and look at you.

"hmm? what is it?" he asked in return.

"what were you doing in that alleyway? what made you protect me?" you inquired, blinking.

"oh, well, i used to own the bike shop near the alleyway. i was wandering around when i saw you. it's just that you reminded me of emma when i saw that curse charging towards you. it was probably stupid though, considering how you're a witch and all, who's capable of getting rid of that thing in a snap." shinichiro scratched the nape of his neck.

"i don't think it's stupid though. that was really kind and brave of you. you really do remind me of mikey." you told him, which caused him to grin at you.

once you arrived back at the campus, you took a deep breath and exited the black vehicle along with shinichiro. you were actually quite nervous. reviving someone from the dead was not part of the mission. you nervously made your way inside until you had finally reached one of the office rooms where you found gojo and mikey together.

"[name]-chan! we've been waiting for you welcome bac—you watched mikey's eyes widened as they fell upon the person standing behind you.

"we're home, mikey." you smiled at him before glancing at shinichiro. "we're home."

"wait, who's that?" gojo was beyond confused, but before he could escalate any further, he watched mikey leapt from his seat to tackle the taller man that resembled like him in a tight embrace.

"you're alive? it really is you, shinichiro-nii." mikey's grasp around his older brother trembled, feeling emotional at the thought. "you're alive.."

"and it wouldn't have been made possible if it weren't for her." shinichiro glanced at you, momentarily gesturing you before returning the embrace to mikey.

"shinichiro-nii.." you watched your boyfriend break down into tears.

this was the first time you had ever seen mikey cry. you, too, felt teary-eyed upon seeing the sano siblings reunite. mikey had always been a strong person. he was someone who rarely cried and someone who always smiled. you knew how mikey missed his older brother, just from hearing the way he told stories about shinichiro and how takemitchy reminded him of his brother. not only that, but whenever you delved deep into his thoughts, you could always see and hear him reminiscing about the past, particularly recalling shinichiro.

"kikufuku, you okay?" gojo approached you and draped an arm around your shoulder, gently pulling you to his side as you teared up. "hey, now."

"i'm okay, dad. i'm just happy for mikey." you managed a smile as you wiped the tears rolling your cheeks. "mikey really missed shinichiro-san."

"so, that guy, is mikey's older brother." gojo began, piecing the information together.

"mhm, i accidentally revived him during my mission. i mistook him for mikey protecting me and well, my chaos magic just did its thing." you explained to gojo, now sounding a bit nervous. "am i in trouble?"

"as if i would let that happen. don't worry, i'll handle the higher-ups, okay? besides, it was an accident. a happy accident to say the least." gojo said in reassurance, managing a chuckle to lighten up your mood. "if it weren't for you, mikey wouldn't he able to see or be with his brother again."

"m'kay. thanks, dad." you smiled, burying your face onto his chest as he coddled you in his embrace.

"hey, [name]." you lifted your head from gojo's chest to see shinichiro with holding out an arm for you to join him and mikey.

gojo smiled at this and gently pushed you to shinichiro, which you complied. you were embraced shinichiro and mikey, with your boyfriend, who was sniffling and muffling his cries by burying his face on your shoulder.

"thank you, [name]. thank you." mikey proceeded to cry, hugging you tightly.

"shh, no need, mikey." you pecked the side of his head, rubbing shapes on his back to comfort him. "it's okay."

your revival of the founder and first president of the black dragon gang was certainly going to cause chaos, not only in the delinquent world but also in the world of jujutsu sorcerers. you were ready to shoulder the consequences of your actions, and so was gojo satoru in order protect you. but for now, you were happy for mikey and shinichiro, even if it was an accident.

Shot Down By The Mirror

A Tmnt 2012/Homestuck short story

“The red blood of the carapacians was all over as the young trolls fought on.

While the others struggled slightly to break the the chess looking guys carapace skin, raph could easily break through them with his strength.

April and Casey worked together on one side of the board to take out the chess guys after them. April using her psionic powers to knock them over like bowling pins, while Casey took them out in the confusion.

Meanwhile, Donnie and Mikey fought another set of chess guys, further away from everyone else. Mikey used his wind chime chains to grab multiple enemies and crack their shells.

Donnie struggled to crack their shells with hits from his staff but managed to get through eventually, leaving him and Mikey splattered with red blood.

Leo was on his own as he cut up his enemies, their spirits being absorbed into his swords, causing them to glow.

Lastly, Middy tried to dodge the enemies around her, not wanting to get cut. She was able to hit some with a hammer, but nothing lethal.

“Middy! These guys aren’t gonna stop until they’re gone for good! Will you take them out already?!” Leo yelled at her.

“I’m trying!” Middy lied. She knew she had to, but she wasn’t comfortable with killing. Causing Leo to glare at her.

Raph ended up being the one to take out the knocked out carapacians middy hit.

“You all good?” Raph asked her. Middy smiled and took her moirails hand. “Yeah. Thanks” she responded.

“Mids. You’re gonna have to go for the kill at some point. Raphs not always going to be around to bail you out.” Leo said as the rest of the team walked to middy and raph.

“Hey come on Leo. Those guys were hard to deal with. Right guys?” Raph asked his team.

“No” april, Casey and Mikey said in unison. “Yes- I-I mean no” Donnie said soon after as he shook blood off his staff of light.

Leo crossed his arms and closed his eyes in annoyance. “Fine. But I’m serious. We ain’t gonna win this session if any of us hold back” Leo said.

“I know” middy said as she tugged her hood. “Anyway” Leo said as he grabbed something out of his pack.

“Is anyone hurt?” He said as he pulled out a medical kit. “Nah. We’re all good now that the worst of it’s over” Mikey responded.

Just then, something flew into them and through Donnie’s right fin, slicing it off.

Donnie screamed with his still high pitched voice, none of their voices having broken yet.

“What happened?!” Leo yelled as he ran to Donnie with his kit.

“I’m leaking soda. WHAT DO YOU THINK?!” Donnie yelled at Leo as he held the side of his head, fuchsia blood leaking through his fingertips.

The others turned around to see who the culprit was. Seeing a ginormous carapacian beast with multiple faces, eyes, mouths and limbs.

“Uh oh” april said as he looked up at it. Mikey screamed and hugged raph. “Alright! Final boss. Let’s get em!” Casey said as he raised his scythe.

“What about Donnie?” Raph asked as he saw Leo trying to tend to Donnie’s wound.

“He’s sitting this one out” Leo said. April looked at how big the beast was. “I don’t think we can afford that” she said.

Leo glared. “He’s sitting this one out” he said in a more firm voice. Donnie was in too much pain to realize and protest.

“Whatever. We got this red!” Casey said as he wrapped an arm around his moirail. April looked at him and nodded before the two ran to fight the thing.

“Hey wait up!” Mikey yelled as he ran to them on all fours. “Hey I get first hit!” Raph yelled as he followed suit.

Middy was about to follow behind, but stopped as Leo told her something.

“Don’t hold back” he said as he held up Donnie, the fuchsia blood not being able to hear the conversation.

“I won’t” middy said, both giving each other a serious look before middy ran to help her teammates.

Leo sat donnie down on the ground as he cleaned his wound. “Ow! Stop! It hurts!” Donnie whined at the stinging substance being poured on his wound.

“Don’t worry. I know what I’m doing” Leo said as he tended to the wound.

Her heart felt like it stopped as she saw it. A liquid dripped in front of her from the ledge above.

Purple

Fuchsia

No…

Please no…

Her bright red tears dripped onto her green and teal attire. Disappearing immediately as the god tier outfit could not be stained.

She gripped her hammer tight as she floated up to the ledge.

Please don’t let it be true please please please…

She landed on the edge of the ledge, looking down to see the horror on the floor.

I failed.

Her teammates.. her friends… her family… her moirail…

They were dead. Their bodies lined up on the floor in a circle. Their blood pooling and mixing together.

April…

Mikey…

Raph…

Casey…

Donnie…

Their eyes were bloodshot. Their pupils were pinpoint in horror. Blood was leaking from their eyes, mouths, noses and ears.

Middy could feel that their minds were gone. Incapable of being healed.

Then she saw him.

Opposite to her in the circle of death, there was Leo. On his knees as he looked at what he done.

She could see his mortified face. His wings were drooped down. He was crying blue tears that evaporated as they landed on his brown and red god outfit.

He looked up at her. Shadows covered most of her face, only allowing him to see one angry eye. He gave her a crazed smile as he cried.

“I didn’t mean it” he said in a choked up deep voice. Leo put his head down as middy lifted up her hammer.

They both knew what needed to be done.

She raised her hammer. Leo took in a deep breath before saying.

“I thought I knew what I was doing”

A hard blow echoed across the hive as cerulean blood splattered on the wall behind them…
