for all robron gifmakers who use the uksoapshare videos:

the videos are 1080i and not 1080p, meaning there are some sort of lines that appear when on pause or used in photoshop

most of the time it's fine, i haven't had much trouble because photoshop deals with it in most cases and it's not visible to the eye in gif form (even if you can see the lines when you pause)

see, on the left the lines aren't visible wherease on the right they very much are : (or to my eyes at least)

but! no worries, there is a fix! you can convert the videos to 1080p with handbrake (free software!). it's a fairly easy process and let's you have the episodes in 1080p 60fps if you ever were looking for such quality

once you've opened your video in handbrake, go to the video tab and choose 60fps, and then go to filter, select "deinterlace" and the drop down menu, select Bob or EEDI2 Bob (this one will take longer)

you can use it on the whole episode so that's done, but it'll take roughly as long as the episode for it to be converted, so i suggest cutting clips (i use avidemux but you can do the cutting in handbrake, i just like that process less 'cause you've got to input start and end time manually whereas with avidemux i can do it with a visual)

once in photoshop:

however you make your gifs, by importing screencaps (tho maybe the lines don't bother you then) or by simply drag and dropping the video in photoshop, you now have 60fps to use.

either have fun with that (makes for very smooth movement) (but bigger file size)

or once you're done dealing with the gif and it's ready to be saved, you can convert to timeline and change the fps in the timeline settings

Nb: the converting time will depend on your computer's memory and processor. I have an Intel i7 and 16Mo of RAM, and the converting time takes about as much as the duration of the video.

so, when i say chara and siffrin would get along, i mean they would have a complicated & sometimes antagonistic relationship, but they would, on the whole, understand each-other and enjoy each-other's company. they'd often think they understood each-other better than they did, which would be a source of conflict at times, but it also means they'd have a lot to talk about!

yknow i understand that the memes are Not That Deep and it is fun to make jokes and relating w/others about like "oh no i started another wip when i have 90000 other wips im neglecting!!! i had another idea when i should be working on the projects i already have!!!" and i get that it is a good habit to like, finish what you start and the want to see things through and such. like shore i relate 2 these too. but ☝️! i must ask. is it really so bad to have many ideas. is it really so bad to have several idea pools to bounce back and forth from when perhapeth you get stuck on the current one youre on and wanna mix it up a little. mishanks mafia au where shanks is the don of the gol family and and mihawk is a hitman hired by the government (it's a conspiracy!) to kill shanks.

when mihawk shows up, shanks puts up a great fight, and even tho shanks loses (he's on the ground with hawk's blade at his throat!), mihawk decides shanks is way funner than the government and doesn't kill him after all. mihawk intends for this to be the end, with exception for perhaps more fights in the future, but shanks has already fallen on love and starts trying his damndest to get mihawk to work for the gols.

mihawk always refuses, but when the government puts out a hit on mihawk because he broke contract, mihawk finds himself thoroughly protected by the gol family anyways. shanks, however, doesn't save mihawk fast enough to spare the hitman some torture so, in retaliation, shanks brings down the entire government and exposes the conspiracy while he's at it, with the finale being a grand announcement that mihawk is his, actually, back the fuck off and don't try this again.

by the end, mihawk still doesn't work for the gols, but if he marries into the family, well. "there's still a difference, red." (shanks whines about this daily.)
