What is one moment in a game where it clicked for you that you were playing something truly special? Replaying Elden Ring reminded me of how I started out with having fun in the opening section of the game in Limgrave, and then it went on and I was still feeling good about it... but nothing out of the ordinary and I was still just clearing out mobs and horsing around for a good amount of time. But It was taking that elevator down to hell and being jumpscared by that sky in Siofra was when it hit me that I was playing a truly special game. I still think that's one of the single most effective piece of worldbuilding in any game I've ever played. What's a moment that parallels that feeling for you in your favorite game(s)? so, siofra made an oopsie. she was dueling anyone she find, trying to work on her aspiration. she ended up using too much magic at once, became overcharged, then got the curse of scrambled spells. ☹️ siofra was able to discover the recipe for a curse-cleansing potion by experimenting in the cauldron and is on the hunt for the following ingredients: apple, citrine, angelfish, & mandrake.

This is perfect for players who just want to breathe in an open world without the hassle of killing and dying. If you’ve already defeated Malenia, Radagon, and the Elden Beast, and you’re looking for a fresh experience in the sweeping RPG, Peaceful Ring by modder ‘Rainer Geis’ makes every single NPC in the game into a non-hostile, benign part of the scenery. You can still kill them, because naturally you need to defeat bosses in order to progress, but otherwise you’re free to explore the Lands Between absolutely at your leisure, breathing in the gorgeous Siofra River, Limgrave, and Nokron like you’re playing the world’s most luxurious walking sim. so, by somewhat scheduled, what i mean is posting one gameplay (barbie legacy) on certain days, and another gameplay (siofra) on the others. if that makes sense fjskfjfj and then the others r self explanatory

So this is what my Yuri Game Jam game looks like when you boot it up, as well as a couple sample endings. If you’ve never played an Infocom brand game or any kind of interactive fiction, it’s an all-text adventure you input commands into. Every command in this one gets you its own unique end. So far I have a whopping -29- unique endings, some obvious, some hidden ones like references to old IF games and favorite series and whatnot.

I need at least 15 more (the 5 senses for the 3 listed characters) but after that, it’s all up to you all to help me come up with ideas! This isn’t due out til Oct 31st so we got a lot of time but I can be done with the basic load of the most common commands in another day or two at most.

Custom stuff can be done in 30-60 seconds. Most of the work is just being witty about my endings. Most are dumb and short, some are longer than others. Can you find the true end?

I don’t need any more characters beyond Siofra, Susan, and Braveleaf, nor do I need any more locations. Jokes highly encouraged, as is being raunchy, but let’s keep it R-rated at most. References/homages/in jokes highly encouraged as well; it wouldn’t be an IF game without them.
