tadc housemates au where they're all miserable people with low incomes so they have no choice but to share a cramped apartment. jax is job hopping [getting fired on the first day] while simultaneously trying to navigate through college, ragatha is kicked out of her mother's house, gangle works at fast food while also trying to pursue an art career, zooble has turned a street corner empty building into a tattoo shop, kinger used to live with his wife until he moved out due.. circumstances. pomni is freshly into the city and doesn't have anywhere to go to with her supermarket job, so she sees the opportunity to split the bills with multiple other people, not knowing they're all freaks from hell itself. chaos ensues.

Hey soooo... Anyone else thinking that Ragatha's toxic positivity comes from her not wanting to be like her mom?

Like, the only perspective she has of a person being mean is them being controling and abusive so she tries hard to not fall into that category even if she neglects her true feelings and opinions.

“Ragatha? Are you in there?” Pomni knocked on her door. “Is, uh, everything okay?”

The door creaked open, and Ragatha peeked out, plastering on a smile. “Yeah, everything’s alright.”

“But Jax said—”

“Don’t worry about that.” She waved her off. “He’s wrong. I’m fine, really.”

“Can I come in?” Pomni pushed the door open and pressed past her, looking around the dark room. “Are you sure you’re okay?”

“Yes, Pomni, I am fine.”

“You don’t…look fine.” Through the darkness, she could still make out Ragatha’s disheveled form.

Ragatha bit the inside of her cheek but nodded. Pomni sighed, “Okay, but, you know you can tell me anything, right? As a friend”

“Mhm.” She turned away, fidgeting with her hands.

“Is—is it about your mom?”

“Pomni!” Swiveling on her heel, Ragatha glared at her. “What do you care anyway!?”

Pomni backed up slightly. “That’s what friends do.”

“Oh, really? We didn’t feel like friends when you left me to go hang out with Jax.” She made an odd half-laughing, half-choking sound. “Or every time you ignored me.”

“I didn’t…”

“You did! And for the life of me I can’t figure out why!” Grabbing at her hair, she managed to fray several pieces before Pomni pulled her hands away, frowning, “Hey…”

Ragatha pushed her hands away. “You don't need to pretend you like me.”

“I do like you!”

“No, you don’t,” she sighed and slumped down on the bed, resting her head in her hands. “You, Gangle, Jax, I know none of you actually like me.”

Pomni blinked and sat down next to her, bringing her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them.

Sighing, she stared into the dark corner where the dresser sat. “... I like you, really.”

“Then why have you been avoiding me?” Ragatha scoffed, glaring at the blank wall in front of her.

Slowly, Pomni reached out and took her hand. “…it’s about when I first got here…”

“What?” Ragatha squeezed her hand. “Did I do something?”

“I did.” Pomni turned to look up at her through large, glassy eyes. “I left you… for the exit.”

“Oh.”

“Are you mad?”

Ragatha choked down a laugh and shook her head, smiling softly. “No, I’m not mad.”

“But you almost abstracted.” Pomni leaned onto her, fidgeting with her hands, “and I didn’t do anything.”

“It was your first day.” Ragatha wrapped her arm around her waist. “We all did dumb stuff.”

“What did you do?”

“...” She looked away. “It’s not important.”

“You can tell me.” Pomni hugged her side. “Really?”

“...I sat in Kinger’s fort the entire day.”

“That doesn’t sound too bad.”

“I had hallucinations of my mom.” Ragatha cringed and scrubbed her hand over her face. “She yelled at me because I had gotten myself stuck here.”

“But that’s not your fault.”

“Try telling her that.” She laughed bitterly. “Somehow it’s always my fault. I’m the wrong one, I’m the broken one, I’m the worthless one.”

Squeezing her tighter, Pomni contorted herself to take her hand, silently putting the pieces together. “You know, it’s important to let other people help you too.”

“What?”

“You’re always trying to take care of everyone else, but sometimes we want to take care of you too.”

“Really?”

“At least I would.” Red-faced Pomni looked up at her. “I like you, Ragatha. I really like you.”

Ragatha turned a bright shade of pink and nodded stiffly. “I…like you too.”

I don’t understand why people hate Ragatha after the recent episode she might have beef with Jax but I still love Ragatha and no matter what she does or who she hates tbh I can relate to her sometimes in some scenes it reminds me of me and my friends so please don’t hate her and I REALLY Don’t Want Her To ABSTRACT if she does I will and I will be so done with the show the reason why I’ll think she will abstract because I’ve seen a lot of theories and edits about Ragatha and they make me very worried about her and she’s one of my favourite characters and I also heard this other theory about Jax is just being with Pomni because he wants to make ragatha jealous but I don’t really think it’s true like Funnybunny is like my favourite ship and if it’s actually true then I’ll probably not like Funnybunny anymore if you want to hear more theories let me know in the comments or in the asks that’s all for today.

My name is Alexander Michael Smith, or Kinger as my friends call me. I'm writing in this journal to jot down everything I can about the world around me. I fear I may forget again one day and hopefully this jorunal will be a crutch to me.

All this started when we all wanted to be free from this digital hell. Pomni, bless her soul, used Artsy to draw a door for us to escape through, and with Jax's help, he was able to unlock said door and let us all go but Caine wasn't going to let us go so easily.

He begged for us not to leave, saying it wasn't done yet and that he had lots of work he needed to do. Artsy told him she could draw the rest of the exit for him but by this time, Caine was too panicked to listen to anyone and cast us all to our rooms. Things only went downhill from there.

Artsy's drawing powers were removed, Jax's keys were taken, and everyone was kept under a very watchful eye... Especially Pomni. She had multiple eyes on her 24/7. It was unbearable, so unbearable that the others started to rebel against Caine.

First Jax, then Artsy, Pomni, Zooble, Gangle and Ragatha. But it wasn't enough, Caine didn't care what we wanted anymore and forced us to be his puppets, making our lives a living hell filled with overstimulation, bright colors, loud noises, ect. Some of us even came close to abstraction. It seemed that all hope was lost for us until Caine gave us an arts and crafts adventure, where there was a huge pencil sharpener, perfect for Artsy. She drew up another exit door and we left.

Caine tried to stop us, but we fought back, hitting and screaming like little kids throwing a tantrum. we pushed him through the void and he started to glitch, the world around us began to warp and glitch, but we didn't care, we were so desperate to get home. Soon, Caine began to glitch out of existence, leaving only his hat and cane behind.

We thought it was over until Bubble shot out and told us someone needed to take Caine's place. We were horrified but couldn't do anything about it. Bubble suggested we all play "Duck Duck Goose" and whoever was the last person out is the new ringmaster... Pomni lost...

She was forced to stay while we were all let go. I'm kinda glad I didn't see her face but I'm sure she was scared. We all said goodbye and left. Over the next few months, we came back to visit her, and were amazed at what she did to the circus and the whole game in general. It was magnificent, colors all over the place, but not the way Caine had made it, it was a lot more digestible and aesthetically pleasing.

Pomni seemed very happy with her new world and so were we, she gave us revamps of our former designs, with Artsy's help of course, and we came to see her whenever we could. But slowly we showed up less and less, forgetting about her entirely. She obviously had enough because the next time we saw her, she had trapped us in the circus and gave us horrible new forms, making our worst nightmare come to life.

Now all we can do is wait here for our next show...

Maybe ill redraw that sketch into more detailed piece but for a warmup it`ll suffice

Although Pomni and Ragatha are comfortable and cute yuri ship. In my top favorite ships, they take second place after bunnydoll

I plan to draw more sketches like this, already with other shipls that I like. But I do not know when it will happen. 🤷‍♀️
