I am Thinking and Feeling about the ritsu&shou foils of it all. getting his ass kicked is enrichment for ritsu and for shou violence is a means to an end that's boring at best regardless of how good at it he is. which is kind of a subtle parallel to ritsu's whole thing about not really giving a shit about being incredibly good at school and sports and everything he gets easily praised for. they're zoo animals in the wrong enclosures and together they get to kind of. give one another access to what they're missing

GOT THAT RITSU?” and ritsu’s just like “yep got it 👍”. and then when shou’s like “why are you trying so hard? i’m the one who’s trying to recruit you!” not only like this is a job interview but like shou’s the one being interviewed here. or how when ritsu stays behind to hold off shimazaki and instead of arguing or insisting on fighting him together or smth shou trusts ritsu and leaves him behind because ritsu trusts him to stop his dad. THEYRE SO.

i mostly think this from the novellas and from what i remember: kadaj was born first and then loz and yazoo materialised at the same time a bit after. i get seeing kadaj or loz being the youngest bc of how they act, but ive always seen kadaj as the oldest. i also think its a funny concept to have yazoo and loz as twins as they have completely different personalities while being bossed around by their short older brother.

i mean, theyre all like a few weeks old or smth. all small babies.

Of those who went to Playful Land, Vil came out of it with a surprising aversion to all things puppets. And a constant Urge to scratch at the right side of his face, fearful of feeling wood rooted in there rather than human skin. Even months afterward, he'd still feel a certain ick when dealing with anything related to puppets and will have a blatantly obvious fear response to finding even stray sticks in his hair.

He wasn't really able to stomach having ribbons on his wrists or even wearing harnesses for commercial or modeling gigs he did that year for a bit either. He'd tossed the clothes from Playful Land in the back of the Film club's costume shed, as he didn't want them to go to waste even still. He'd even asked the other's willing to give theirs up to store them in there too. He doesn't think he would be able to use them for anything, though, as just the idea of wearing that ensemble again is Abhorrent to him. Even the mere thought of Epel try one on left him feeling nauseous.

HC; A New Duty.

Now if there's one thing that's come to light, there's been a considerable uptick of time in Lighter's daily life. Mainly, how he's had a lot more time to visit the city, and often take part of activities in a more amiable nature. This isn't solely due the gradual growth of being more open. Another core aspect is due to how things have changed since Pompey's passing.

Originally, the Motorcross league served two essential purposes. Its not only an established of order and honor within the Outer Ring, they also serve as vanguards. The Champions of each gang in particular hold a tender task of ensuring the protection of the land's crown jewel; Cinder Lake.

While this still existences in one vein, the original task of taking part of a shadow war has switched gears. While it very much still exists, as many corporations (specifically within TOPS) do wish to ruin it, and give the living there no chance but to embrace that future in Ether technology, a new wild card has joined the fray. Whether by divine prank or a testament of their undying will, Pompey's Etheric form serves as a destructive guardian in ensuring Cinder Lake's safety.

Even after that fall into the lava from their valiant struggle, Pompey's existence is now shadowed in a realm that doesn't adhere to logic. He revives and still follows that core directive of keeping that lake protected as an embodiment of a dying wish. It's double edged sword however, as now to ensure the upkeep of Cinder Lake and for daily check ins, you'll need phenomenal strength to even enter it. Lighter is one of the few that can ensure that condition is met.

So where does his leave him now? One of Big Daddy's core goals finds itself met with the fallen leader's new existence, but that doesn't mean the figures that aim for its destruction simple gave up. Pompey covers one essential base (and even then, patrols from fellow Champions work to prevent threats from getting in), now Lighter finds himself extending to actively pursuing these forces upon their own home turf, unearthing them within the fetid shadows skulking within New Eridu.

This is a central reason as to why his time extended within the city limits now days. Recon, active missions, surveying that damage post Bringer incident, he keeps a full hand despite enjoying more of the metropolis's luxuries. Originally his specialty for 'Odd Jobs' was a front for more heavy handed protection. (With a small sprinkle of truth.) Originally it'd be a mantle he'd take hold of again, but seeing how this is fully known by the Sons of Calydon and just about everyone in the Outer Ring, he's a lot less prone of leaving people in the shadows on those issues.

New circumstances simply have to be adapted to. With figures like Lucius and their twisted ilk more than willing to destroy what little land this world has left, a switch of gears will be taking the battle to them instead.

After the first day he got a therapist, and then had to get a new one bc he was to honest about his job

Is trying to make a checklist of things so he can categorize the remnants, its not helpful

Actually really wants to be good at his job to impress Sir but dosent know why

This is a man like in his 50 looking but we know he's like 1500+ at least

i have this one hc about regulus i can’t stop thinking about

i feel like while he would be studying french literature and would start getting interested in emile zola and the form of naturalism he explores in his novels, which leads him to adopt this pseudoscientific research technique emile zola uses in his books where he writes whole stories that showcase a specific theory he wants to prove and the fact it logically is realistic within his writings is the confirmation of the hypothesis he wishes to demonstrate. i imagine him writing for six months theses he later would demonstrate in his manuscript and that he would have checked by evan and pandora. whole series of novels written to prove whether our personalities can be defined by genetic factors and thus those traits are due to one’s predisposition or whether they are strictly attributable to the environmental conditions of growth.

i was re-reading the fazbear frights book 'Hide and Seek' and the part where shadow bonnie sews themselves onto toby in order to be his shadow got me thinking the whole day. so i made a doodle dump with my rwq here!! i hc that shadow bonnie is really talented in sewing and uses a thread and needle that is completely made out of remnant! she uses regular fabric and shadows as her main materials :)
