I hope the orange side has a super detailled extra show-offy villain outfit like Remus and Janus because I think it'd be cool (I personally think a punk outfit with a bunch of spikes could be awesome and fitting for a side that I think will represent anger) but also funny because like there's these three super glamorous dark sides and right next to them is this dude in a dark gray hoodie who is COMPLETELY dripless (Virgil)

I can’t stop thinking about Remus representing jealousy and envy, in the same way Roman isn’t just creativity, he’s also ego, pride, and passion. It always felt a little lopsided to me that they were halves a whole, and yet Roman has all this extra stuff. But what if Remus has some extra stuff of his own, things that mirror Roman’s extra stuff. 

Consider the feeling you get when you work very hard on something creative, something you’re proud of, only for your work to be passed over for someone else. Consider the envy you might feel when someone else succeeds in the same area you wish you could. Even when it’s a friend, someone you care about, that feeling creeps up sometimes. Don’t you deserve the recognition just as much as they do, if not more? Or maybe, they made something better than you, and you wish it was yours. Either way, that’s envy. Wanting something someone else has. 

Alternatively, consider jealousy, in a romantic sense. The moments when your partner seems to click with someone else, or someone flirts with them, or they’re just plain spending more time with other people than you. It happens, it’s normal. But you can’t help that niggling sense of jealousy in the back of your mind, fueled by insecurity and fear of losing the one you love, that some might take what’s yours away from you. Maybe you imagine in great detail what they’re doing right now, or any number of scenarios in which they leave you or cheat on you. You know you’re being irrational, but even so it’s hard to put those thoughts to rest. 

In both cases, these aren’t wanted feelings, but they’re there anyway, a lot like intrusive thoughts (and in fact in some situations they can be a form of intrusive thought!), and they’re also both extensions of things that Roman represents. Envy and jealousy are both forms of desire tempered with ego and insecurity.

So, where Roman is pride in your work, and desire and passion for your partner, and Remus is wondering why someone else got rewarded for their work and you didn't, and the fear someone will take away the one you love.

In other words, Remus makes you green with envy.

I have to get this out, so I have this idea, that.. you know how the “dark sides” sort of get listened to..? Not by choice but by force.

Janus snuck in and Impersonated Patton and got a seat at the table. Remus knocked out Roman and got a whole hour episode to himself. Remus was feared by everyone the whole time. (Except Logan...)

I’ll come back to that in a second.

So maybe, the orange “side” it isn’t necessarily a new side, my thought is he’s (Logan) always been the orange side. he won’t stop being logic. Just orange.. LOL. (Cause we have two blue sides.. is that suspicious to anyone else? No? just me okay.) Anyway.

Back to what I was saying earlier.

All Logan wants is to be heard, recently he hasn’t been, maybe he would be desperate to do anything? Not “joining” the dark sides.. but kinda playing the part. Take that as you will, “Playing the villain, playing the part.” Whatever floats your boat. Playing the part of the villain, like Janus did ,or Remus.

Remus has been the one poking the stick at the bear by provoking Logan and making him yell at him.

Maybe their trying to make Logan reach his limit. Why? I don’t know.

Just double checking to be sure we all agree with these headcannons as a fandom, correct???

Logan: Has man boobies, is a pretty tall side, and is a wine mom

Patton: Pretty short, has a dad bod, love chocolate chip cookies, makes gifts for the sides, and can be pretty dumb at at times

Roman: Has a floating crown, spends hours getting ready, spends hours coming up with unique nicknames, and battles Remus often, one of the tallest sides

Virgil: Listens to a lot of rock music, hangs up all of the guts he gets from Patton, viewed Janus as a mom at one point (prolly still does), has an animal feature of a spider, love cuddles, a medium height side, definitely shorter than Thomas

Janus: Wine Aunt, sassy mf, shortest of the sides, has to treat Remus like a dog sometimes, has a cane, and misses Virgil

Remus: Eats all soaps, is one of the tallest sides, misses Roman sometimes, pretty stupid, likes to bother Logan a lot, controls his tentacles at will, has spiral eyes
