I really don't think that Shira's change of hair color for the game is just devs being lazy or something like that tbh. There is a big difference between "cutting corners" and "modeling from concept art and not spending 1 second to move all RGB sliders to 255" 🤔 I think it might have a meaning

Shira is "daughter of the duke", her crown has a pearl from one of Seath's favorite creatures (Man Eater Shell lol), her clothes state being of royal blood, she follows Filianore, she yields lightning and according to Japanese script Seath at SOME point was part of the royal family upon marrying a female relative of Gwyn (like sister, aunt, niece etc)! I think it works the best if Shira is the child of that union, and possibly dark blonde is a gene of her mother!

Alternatively, whereas Gwyndolin had prolonged exposure to Moon aura that might have given him bleach white skin and snakes and tiddies, maybe Shira instead had a prolonged exposure to Sun aura! It could have had a reverse effect of concealing dragonic features, down to changing her hair color from bleach white (again, trait passed from Seath) to blond!

Somewhere along the line it had become a contest. Taking one of their rarer dates outside of the apartment, they'd still chosen to avoid the eyes of the public by being in the city, instead having been teleported to a more natural and wooded area. Watching the sunset together was nice, but then fireflies had started popping up, effectively capturing the attentions of Keith and Cherry. Something about the cute wonder that befall their faces as the little lightning bugs flew around them made Pico want to just watch instead. He couldn't risk a single second of letting his attention be on fireflies when his boyfriend and girlfriend's expressions tugged on his heartstrings in the most unbearably wonderful way.

Cherry and Keith were playfully chasing each other, forms streaking by Pico's line of sight while they laughed. Rushing through clusters of tiny lights hanging in the air, looking absolutely ethereal. A half-assed game of tag, devolving into them jumping and catching the fireflies around them without accidentally hurting them. It became a contest of who could catch the most fireflies in one go, both of them bouncing back over to Pico every time to show him their hard work. The ginger felt like his face would split in half with how wide his grin was.

"Do I really have to pick a winner for this?" Pico asked, amused. "Surely I should be allowed to say you both win. I can't choose between my two partners, that wouldn't be fair." I can't choose between the both of you when you're both so damn cute, and I can't think about anything else but how much I love you-

"That's a cop out and you know it." Keith complained. "Babe, we can't rely on Pico for this. Next catch with the most fireflies in hand wins. Final stand."

The triforce..

Power, red, related to fire, the godess Din, and the gorons.

Wisdom, blue, related to water, the godess Nayru, and the Zora.

Courage, related to wind, forest, lightning, the godess Farore, the kokiri and the rito.

The colours of the triforce are very deliberate.

Look familiar? This is RGB, the primary colours of optical colour mixing. There are three additional colours from the triforce colours, and though it varies through the different games, I don't think these colours are too unfamiliar to us.

Magenta, represents shadow in ocarina of time.

Yellow represents lightning in tears of the kingdom, and could easily be switched out for the orange we see representing the sage of spirit in ocarina of time.

Cyan is a tricky one, but honestly I think that this is actually a better representation of water, because I think blue, aka wisdom, is more related to time.

I would probably categorize it like this:

Red = Fire

Blue = Time (or water)

Green = Forest(oot)/Wind(totk)

Magenta = Shadow(oot)/Spirit(totk)

Cyan = Water (or time)

Yellow = Spirit(oot)/Lightning(totk)

This would also place Fire and Water as opposites, which they technically are, so that fits well. But this doesn't actually really matter, because there are only three godesses, and by that I mean that these abilities of the secondary colours are contained within the three godesses!

I would suggest that the triforce of Power contains both Fire and Shadow(oot)/Spirit(totk), the triforce of Wisdom contains both Time and Water, and the triforce of courage contains both Forest(oot)/Wind(totk) as well as Spirit(oot)/Lightning(totk). This also fits very well because in botw/totk there are three types of elemental enemies: Fire, Ice (ice is just frozen water, remember), and Electricity. These abilities mirror the three dragons, and it's extremely clear that lightning belongs to Farore in a way.

Anyway, you probably understand what I'm building up towards, because you've noticed that there's something missing, haven't you? There's this thing where if you mix Red, Blue and Green, just like in the picture above, you get..

White light.

Okay so, I don't believe in the tetraforce, however..

The thing is, in rgb, white isn't a primary colour. If we were talking about the primary colours of paint that would be CMY and if you mix them you get black, and white is the lack of colour, but now we're talking about RGB, in which white isn't the lack of colour but is Red, Blue and Green mixed together! This means that Hylia - the godess of light - could very well be seen as a godess but also not one of the main godesses, because she was created by the three godesses powers working together.

The three golden godesses also created two other things together; The planet which hyrule is a part of, as well as the triforce.

We have never actually seen Hylia exactly, so what if Hylia is.. kind of like mother earth? What if Hylia is the personification of the planet?

I was also thinking that Hylia could be the personification of the sun, However if the sun is a godess then it wouldn't be one, but be the three golden godesses together, because they are the ones who created the earth and gave it life, like a sun would, and Hylia would be more like a ray of sunshine sent by them to the planet. Every time we see the triforce itself, it is shining as if it's emitting light, which is extremely appropriate for it to do in this theory. So what if Hylia might be the triforce in a way that she is a misinterpration of a princess of sorts that once held the complete triforce inside her, like the kings of the fallen timeline, as well as zelda from breath of the wild.

I guess this series might be more symbolic than we think.

Because like, at this point Lloyd knows that Zane is a robot and his father died years before they met, the. SURPRISE YOUR OLDER BROTHER’S FRIEND’S DAD ISN’T DEAD! And Zane is probably talking to Dr. Julien when he mentions “Oh this is Lloyd, he’s my little brother :)”

anyway aahhhhh I actually love this idea omg that's adorable and hilarious! I mean eugh Zane showing off his shiny new found family to his dad and his dad being so proud of him, ohh my heart, but also the comedic potential here is unreal.

And like. If we combine this with RGB siblings AND the green cousins dynamic in this au….damn this silly little green bean is really out here collecting family members like they're Pokemon cards, good for him.

(On an angstier note this does mean that Lloyd would be hit pretty hard by Dr. Julien's death, but hey if anything that's just helping emotionally prepare him for the trauma of losing Garmadon a few seasons later.)

I love how this came out!!! It's on my top three favorite pieces I've made this year for sure If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure I only used CSP for this one, it has been a while! I don't have any photos to share, but the first iteration of the piece wasn't a lot like the end result... KDKDKD ...Imagine a 1 point perspective hallway that has a CGI-like quality to it, with checkerboard textures. The lightning is dark, and the end of the hallway is pitch black. On the center of the image is Scanlines, with a blank expression, and balled fists. First-iteration Scanlines is also kicking your ass out. Sorry..... I couldn't make it look like how I wanted it to look, so I scrapped it completely except for the color palette I had for her, I still think it's really nice. Another thing about this, I really liked playing around with CSP tools, applying effects and filters... (for Scanlines I feel not putting an RGB filter is a crime, man!!!)

End, how to end... idk lol. ...I've got nothing more to say except I love this painting and I love Scanlines!!! having both #girlboss and #girlfail energy is incredible KDKDKDK /gen

-living memory made me cry so damn much that music is sad as hell. i can't believe the legendary city of gold was an artificial afterlife that we had to pull the plug on. and then afterwards it's just this ugly gray city with the distorted sad music playing through mall speakers. being there after the msq is extremely uncomfortable.

-im wondering if sphene was deliberately programmed to be hostile and unreceptive to any solution that isn't "sustain the dead by killing and sucking up living aether." because it is possible to actually bring back the dead and sustain them without being a parasitic blight! all the beings in ultima thule are alive because they were brought back by dynamis, and azem's magic resurrected all the scions and briefly emet and hyth. obviously preservation doesnt know about dynamis and they can't use azem's magic, but that doesnt matter because we could have presented these solutions to sphene. but no, sphene straight up refuses to consider any other solution to sustaining living memory that isn't kill everyone on other worlds.

-there's also sphene's tiara being shown ominously after the credits roll. im willing to bet that the new arc villain really was using sphene as a pawn to destroy worlds for some unknown reason.

-re: azem's magic: azem is insanely powerful jesus christ. they're able to call people to their side no matter where they are, even resurrecting the dead in their summoning. and now azem apparently has a key that can open portals to other worlds, even tho azem lived prior to the sundering. why this key went to a bunch of lalas living in aloalo island is a big mystery, and im surprised aloalo was even brought up again. i did all the routes to get the statice mount so i fought the statue of the speaker, but i assumed the aloalo lalafells just sailed away on a boat to la noscea. the fact that they had an artifact azem created to hop to another world is insane.

-everkeep is a massive eyesore, and im not a fan of solution nine sorry. i don't like glowy rgb cyberpunk aesthetics and purple is my least favorite color, and solution nine is both of that at once lol. radz at han is a way better endgame hub.

-im kinda confused about how interdimensional fusion is working. everkeep still has the endless lightning storms, but the unlost world that living memory is in seems to have a clear sky after we shut down the golden light. is that a real sky, and if so, why isn't it in a perpetual lightning storm too? and if living memory didn't get transported to the source along with the rest of everkeep and only has the gate to it connecting it to the source, then how hasn't it fallen apart the moment everkeep transported??? isn't it the twelfth floor of a giant tower.

-im going to guess that the unlost world is the ninth because of all the ff9 refs. even though the twelfth was already rejoined with a calamity of lightning, there's only six elements (not including light and darkness) and 13 reflections. the ascians are going to have to reuse elements for rejoining eventually, so if things went their way we would have had a second calamity of lightning rejoining the unlost world. electrope not being in the source (or maybe it is and we havent found any yet) sounds like ascian shenanigans too. tip the world strongly towards the element of lighting, then introduce a suspiciously convenient ore that can make use of all the excess lightning, and manipulate nations into destroying each other for it. lindblum's lightning superweapon would be the perfect tool for a rejoining.

-i wonder if there are any reflections that are still relatively okay, but i also wouldnt be surprised if every reflection was left in a horrible state to prime it for rejoining. due to the time discrepancies between shards, i think it'd be cool to find a reflection that didnt even develop civilization yet lol

-anyways. i thought nothing would top amaurot for being the saddest place, but living memory is just fucking me up so bad. deleting the endless was bad enough, but to leave it in that ugly shut down state with distorted music playing is horrible. we killed the golden city and are left with its corpse. also, something scary to think about it that if everkeep is the last intact place from the unlost world and it's been transported to the source, that means the unlost world is completely barren and the final remnant of its last standing civilization is an empty necropolis. goddamn if it was another star and meteion found it, she'd be adding it to her list of reasons to despair for sure.
