Part 2 Update: Everything is coming up sunny

I thought I would ask how it is going from the cool ppl who are following me and give an update from the most recent project(Link to the poll vote: https://www.tumblr.com/creativespot123/767068429620543488/poll-vote-result-stepper-motor?source=share ).

So first: Hello, how are you? How have you been?

So an update:

As discussed before in the linked post concerning the robot idea, I had a bit of a realization that I am not going to spend like three hours trying to make cardboard sturdy enough to support moving the machine. I have built the initial arms so as to make him move, but when attempting to find a way to make the "Belt" (A rubber band) move the little man's axle.

I figured why not just find some cheap gears online since amazon you can pretty much buy anything other than human body parts, finding these:

This plastic piece will be used for its teeth, which will make it more easily move the machine.

꒰ 𐙚 ꒱ 𝓘 actually have my own self-concept only I can curate because nobody else is going to tell me what I am and what I'm not or what I can and can't do if it's my reality that I've lived in since birth.

꒰ 𐙚 ꒱ 𝓘 trust myself. I never outsource my trust. I'm not scrolling around finding more and more information on the internet about manifestation nor am I constantly checking if my manifestations are already there.

꒰ 𐙚 ꒱ 𝓘 only put the effort I want to put in, in my manifestations. If I only want to affirm that I have it for 5 minutes, it is done. If I want to mind saturate or visualize in the shower for 30 minutes, it is done. If I want to do SATs then it is done. because manifestation is not a chore, it is something you can actually enjoy.

꒰ 𐙚 ꒱ 𝓘 don't force my thoughts, emotions and affirmations. affs are not supposed to be boring, I create comedy and movies in my head about it. or I don't, who cares, I already have it.

꒰ 𐙚 ꒱ 𝓘 don't attach myself to desires because I am not soul bound to scarcity. listen, girls. if you assert your boundaries and are clear of how you want to be treated because you are unavailable to anything less (meaning, you'll be gone the time they irk you) from the cause of your own detachment to a specific outcome.. baby, your relationships will be much more abundant.

The Social Media Method

One of my favorite manifestation methods is what I like to call the “Social Media Method,” or sometimes the “TikTok Method.” It lets you manifest while still scrolling through your favorite social media apps.

So, what exactly is the Social Media Method? You leverage the content you see on your social media feed to fuel your manifestations.

When You See It, Affirm It

Whenever you see a post or video related to what you’re manifesting, whether it’s from someone else or an affirmation video, you affirm what they’re saying, but for yourself instead, For example, if someone posts about how amazing their boyfriend is and how he bought them flowers, you affirm, “My boyfriend is so amazing, he bought me flowers.” (I like to affirm 1-4 times then move on.)

If you come across something negative, like someone talking about how their boyfriend never texts her good morning, you just flip it. You affirm the opposite. For example, “My boyfriend always texts me good morning.”

You can do this for every desire, you see someone living the life you want you just affirm “omg I also make 1,000,000 a year,” “omg I also travel every year.” If you see someone with your dreams body instead of being jealous you respond with “wait… me and her literally have the same body type that’s crazy.”

Engage with Affirmation Content

I personally engage with affirmation videos in general. When you do this, TikTok and other social platforms will start showing you more videos aligned with what you want to manifest. So when you see a video with affirmations for something you’re manifesting, affirm each one four times too. For example, if a video lists affirmations like, “I am so beautiful,” “Everyone loves me,” you affirm those for yourself 4 times.

Overall

The Social Media Method is a fun, effortless way to keep your mental diet in check and stay in the state of the wish fulfilled. By actively affirming and flipping narratives in real time, you’re constantly reminding yourself that what you desire is already yours. Plus, using social media this way keeps you focused on what you want, not what you don’t want.

So when you’re scrolling, make it intentional. Every post becomes a chance to reinforce your new reality. It doesn’t feel like work, it’s just part of your daily routine. If you consume social media like crazy, you may as well be using it to your benefit.

Poll vote Result: Stepper Motor

Thank you all for voting on the poll, as of today I find the Stepper Motor to be the one which was the winner.

Okay so I have a few ideas, not going to poll them because I want to do the zany one first, then I'll move on to the more grounded and harder one.

Henry is a two-armed robot which will move along the ground using a set of arms connected to a servo, turning on and off with the press of a button, using a sort of crank shaft mechanism which moves both arms simultaneously.

The second is a locking mechanism which will work on a clock, which will be elaborated on in a different post.

For now, let me introduce: Henry the Crawler, this is a fairly basic idea which I plan to expand on with real blueprints later.

The idea is that I will be using an Arduino nano, connected to a breadboard which gives commands to a single stepper motor to make two arms throw itself forward.

The Single stepper motor will interact with the two arms via an axle, similar to a wind-up machine, only instead of a key there is a microcontroller and a button to turn it off and on.

Now I understand that there are issues with Henry, but I think he will be hilarious.

Now I thought the best way to do this would be to use the basic wind up mechanics for the actual moving parts in this robot. Doing this out of cardboard will be difficult but it seems like it is simple enough to build, just time consuming. As for the rod part I was able to ask a roommate for bamboo sticks to add onto it, so shout out to roommate for that.

As for the winder, spring and gear part of the components, I want to use one of the 28BYJ-48 5v dc stepper motors so as to make sure it is only one part which might be able to turn the beast on and off. I'll post more with the bread board and jumper wires later on.

Though not specified in the picture, I think arms with tendons in the actual moving parts might be kind of useless, and it is beyond my knowledge to be able to make them more utilized. I will likely keep the idea around for further projects.
