THE WORLD

[Links to bios and starters won't be updated until around 4:00-5:00pm CST. I'm hoping to have everyone's bios written and posted before then.]

For those who'd rather roleplay in the normal world, feel free to skip to the rules. Roleplays will be tagged with #NW for normal world and #AT for my world building. 

It's 2025, but things have been different from our world for a while. Ever since the hippies and their 'free love' attitude hit the mainstream, the world's become more and more sex-positive. Scientific research has been poured into making sex safer. All forms of both control are more effective than ever (and easily reversible). All STDs are easily treatable, and many have become fully curable in recent years. Comprehensive sexual education is given in all schools. Prostitution has been legalized.

Of course, it's not all about sex. The world in general has moved on to embracing the luxuries of life. The drinking age has been universally lowered to 18, though countries with lower ages have retained them. Marijuana and LSD, along with other softer drugs, have been fully legalized. Hard drugs have been decriminalized, and funding into rehab programs has skyrocketed. Universal Basic Income has been introduced, allowing most people to live a modest life working on 20 hours a week, allowing hobbies to flourish and life to be enjoyed more. 

Eventually, due to the increased sex-positivity and free time, Free Use Zo es started popping up. Those who live there can have sex with who they want, when they want, where they want, assuming consent is given. Of course, you can't just waltz into such a community like this. Anyone who's been charged with a sex crime is barred entry until it's cleared, and especially in the early years of these communities, you need to show a comprehensive understanding of sexual safety and consent. The easiest way to do this is to attend a sex college, a one year program that teaches you everything you need to know.

That's where Alpha Tau comes in. Alpha Tau, abbreviated as AT, is one of five "fraternities" (in name only; they function more like colleges at a normal University) at the prestigious Rainbow Shores University, located in Rainbow Shores in northern California. While the others are separated by gender (on fraternity for straight women, one for gay women, one for straight men, and one for gay men), AT is for both bisexual men and women. Dorms are two people per room, and your roommate can be of either gender. Classes are twenty students a piece, ten men and ten women (non binary students are assigned by their sex if they're comfortable with it. Those who experience dysphoria, along with trans students, have a special class with teachers who've also experienced it and know how to work around it), and two teachers, a man and a woman. Classes have both lecture styled lessons and practical experience sections. In the building, there's a rec room, a gym, a library, and all kinds of entertainment, and the best part is, it's all free use! Students get a slice of that heavenly life many of them hope to achieve. 

Or, of course, if you'd rather stay in the normal world, RSU is just another University, pretty on the outside, and only okay once you're inside.

THE RULES

1. Mun and all Muses are 18+. Smut is always on the table for me, so let me know if you'd rather keep it clean.

2. No gore, blood, potty play, etc. I'm also not into heavy BDSM, like the latex suits and such. Please let me know your limits if I haven't covered them.

3. My inbox is always open! If you want to plot or have any questions about the characters, just chat with me!

4. All of my open starters are always open! It doesn't matter if I've already started roleplaying with someone else, you're free to respond to the starter and we'll start a new roleplay together!

5. If I don't reply within 3 days, feel free to message me. I get busy with work, and my hours vary, so I probably won't be the most consistent. 

6. If you're roleplaying in the Alpha Tau universe, let me know if you want our characters to be classmates! Class 1C is almost filled, but I'll swap characters around if you want. Same goes for dorm assignments.

THE CHARACTERS

The characters will be grouped up into categories based on their roles in the Alpha Tau universe. Any information regarding classroom and roommate are for that universe, and can be discarded if you want to play in the normal world. 

Bolded character names mean they're fully fledged out and I'm prepared to play them. Italic character names are characters I'm really feeling and want to play as, even if I'm still working things out. Students who are in organizations outside of the school will be listed in both for organization sake.

All characters are bi/pan. Just makes things easier. All students are 19.
