Ouh... saw the AI generated Johnny art for the first time, and since I'm a lil bit drunk it got me thinking hard, man

OP's tags are really sad to read - especially the ones they wrote on the actual art they did themselves, after publishing the Ai art

Anything that you have Fun doing isn't pointless or a waste of time; having fun is important, creating is important, making art is important and having fun while making art is the whole point (or at least a really important part of it)

I guess the reason they think it was pointless is because the fanart "only got" 11notes? despite being fun to make - compared to the Ai post, which involve no fun, no thoughts no nothing, almost getting to 400notes - and I cannot express just how much I hate what clout did to people's brains, and how much Ai also plays on this... people addiction to clout and instant gratification, combo'd with people addiction to consuming new stuff from their favorite fixation

idk man it's fucking bleak, and artists comparing themselves and their art to how much nUmBeRs the ai slops are generating is sadly inevitable. like I get it but also not, can't blame anyone but still frowning my eyebrows yknow
