Cut yourself free from mental burdens you carry & enter this moment naked as is.

Show up, here & now, with nothing but your being.

Without holding on to a definition you have been given of who you are.

Free from your story-line you escape time, you step out of the cause-effect timeline you are on.

Even for a moment, because such a moment is a deep plunge into the vastness of eternity.

Kali is that vastness, that contains all times, space & story-lines, but is not of time, space or mind.

It is enough to know what you are not

“It is enough to know what you are not. You need not know what you are. For, as long as knowledge means description in terms of what is already known, perceptual, or conceptual, there can be no such thing as self-knowledge, for what you are cannot be described, except as total negation. All you can say is: ‘I am not this, I am not that’. You cannot meaningfully say ‘this is what I am’. It just makes no sense. What you can point out as ‘this’ or ‘that’ cannot be yourself. Surely, you can not be ‘something’ else. You are nothing perceivable, or imaginable. Yet, without you there can be neither perception nor imagination. You observe the heart feeling, the mind thinking, the body acting; the very act of perceiving shows that you are not what you perceive. Can there be perception, experience, without you? An experience must ‘belong’. Somebody must come and declare it as his own. Without an experiencer the experience is not real. It is the experiencer that imparts reality to experience. An experience which you cannot have, of what value is it to you?” - Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

The taste of no separate self is totally liberating. 'No separate self' does not mean there is a spiritual experience that goes something like, 'I have extended myself infinitely everywhere, and have merged with everything.' That's beautiful, wonderful experience for a separate self to have, but that's not what Oneness is. Oneness is not merging. Merging happens between two and since there is only one, any experience of merging is one illusion merging with another, as beautiful and wonderful as that experience may be. Even when I experience having merged with the absolute, with the infinite, with God, it simply means that my fictitious self has merged with another fiction. Mystical experiences aren't enlightenment.

The mind is using you. You are unconsciously identified with it, so you don't even know that you are it's slave. It's almost as if you were possessed without knowing it, and so you take the possessing entity to be yourself. The beginning of freedom is the realization that you are not the possessing entity ⎯ the thinker. Knowing this enables you to observe the entity. The moment you start watching the thinker, a higher level of consciousness becomes activated. You then begin to realize that there is a vast realm of intelligence beyond thought, that thought is only a tiny aspect of that intelligence. You also realize that all the things that truly matter ⎯ beauty, love, creativity, joy, inner peace ⎯ arise from beyond the mind. You begin to awaken.

Embracing My Worth: I Was Always More Than Enough

I’ve cried rivers over you. I’ve felt your absence in every part of me, as if a piece of my soul was missing. I missed you with everything I had—my heart, my mind, my body. There were moments when the pain consumed me, and I even hated you for it. I hated how you left, how you made me feel like I wasn’t enough. And for a long time, I wondered if it was all my fault. I questioned everything about myself, every action, every word.

But not anymore.

There came a moment when I finally understood something so powerful that it set me free: it wasn’t that I wasn’t good enough for you—it was that I was too much. I loved with a depth you couldn’t meet. I cared in ways that you couldn’t understand. I brought passion, honesty, and strength to the table, and it wasn’t that those things weren’t valuable. They were simply too big for the space you had in your life.

I used to think that I needed to change, to be smaller, quieter, easier for you. But I’ve learned that the problem was never me trying to be enough—it was you not being able to receive all that I am. I am more than enough, and I deserve someone who sees that, who can meet me at my level and celebrate my fullness.

I am enough. I’ve always been enough. And now, I fully embrace that truth

The Moon Cannot Be Stolen

Ryokan, a Zen master, lived the simplest kind of life in a little hut at the foot of a mountain. One evening a thief visited the hut only to discover there was nothing in it to steal.

Ryokan returned and caught him. “You may have come a long way to visit me,” he told the prowler, “and you shoud not return emptyhanded. Please take my clothes as a gift.”

The thief was bewildered. He took the clothes and slunk away.

Ryokan sat naked, watching the moon. “Poor fellow, ” he mused, “I wish I could give him this beautiful moon.”

Not suffering another existence is reaching the Way. Not creating delusions is enlightenment. Not engaging in ignorance is wisdom. No affliction is nirvana. And no appearance of the mind is the other shore.
