Something something about unlabled, wordless devotion. How Arthur and Merlin AND Charles and Edwin so clearly LOVE the other half of their respective duo, without labels. No matter how you interpret the relationships you can't ignore that they care SO deeply.

Something something about my aroace self cherishing this representation. No hate to shippers, I believe they may be (or become) romantic, but to have the OPTION, the possibility that one can be cherished for being themselves, without romantic expectations. Or even with. Just love without labels, without expectations .

This is exactly what I love about both bbc merlin and dead boy detectives, that the central relationship is the definition of 'a secret third thing', not romantic not platonic, but just so devoted to each other, just love that doesn't need any further definition or explanation. that's the reason why Charles response to Edwin's confession was not a rejection, because they do love each other, in their own undefined way. and merlin and Arthur are the same, they can never put their feelings into words, they can't define their relationship in the official terms of their time (both actual arthurian time and late 2000s tv landscape), but they don't need to, because we all know their story is a love story. It doesn't need definition, or further clarification, they know they love each other, we know they love each other. the rest is just detail.

Do you know about the turtles older sister who's currently working as big mom's assistant? I won't ask about their older brother as he lacks not only a name but an appearance outside a mention from splinter But How has piebald been holding up? Is she also captured or just chilling in hiding? And finally how would she and the turtles react to splinter being dead?

the rise comics aren't canon to residuum, any characters or plot points that appear there have no bearing on residuum's plot.

if we did include the original two turtle sisters that were planned to appear in season three, they wouldn't appear until well after the events of residuum proper. (as it is Frida and Venus don't exist in residuum, big mamas assistant is just a yokai).

ok so when it comes to Piebald: she doesn't exist, theres a couple reasons why but the main one is that shes the odd duck out when it comes to mutation and how it works. We wanted consistent rules for how mutation works. Piebald as she appears in the show doesn't exist in residuum, there could be a sewer dwelling mutant fish that used to be their pet, but she can't read. or speak.

Regarding peafowl genetics/coloring: Any reason fawn is Australia only? Is there just a lack of demand (can’t think of a better term) elsewhere?

Australia is an island, and import/export of fowl is practically impossible. Actually that's not true- short of some HIGHLY illegal and inadvisable shenanigans, import IS impossible, and export is impractical. Someone somewhere might be able to do it, but they shouldn't. Until/unless the health problems get resolved, no one's gonna even consider figuring out how to spend the kind of time and money it would take, especially for a plain brown bird that looks almost identical to a bird we already have worldwide (cameo) that might even be the same, genetically.

Hey y’all, just a quick life update, I started a new job (because the one I got in the summer cut my hours really badly) and so I’m now working a regular daylight hour schedule again!! Unfortunately I’m still trying to recover from working a graveyard shift for three months, plus the new job will be a three day workweek minimum, so sorry if I’m a bit scattered or unresponsive some days!! I’m just getting used to a new job and a regular sleep schedule again! Orders will still be shipped out as normal though, don’t worry! I might just be a little drained in terms of my social and physical battery sometimes.
