YAY I can finally share the project I've been working on for the past 6-ish months! I actually finished it a couple of weeks ago but had to wait til I had the okay from my teachers yk-
ANYWAY, I created a mini model/diorama for my EPQ (Extended Project Qualification), which reimagines 'Red Dwarf' if it were a stage show. ✨️
I've been super excited to share this, so I hope y'all like it as much as I do lol! It was so hard not to share anything on here until it was complete, but I managed- 🫡🫡
More photos below the cut!! 🕺 (and click on them for slightly better quality, you know what tumblr is like lmao-)

For whenever Epic comes to a stage, I think when one of odysseus enemies shows up for their song they should have their name light up above the stage to look like a boss health bar. It would also help the general public that might not be familiar with the original story.
Also i think it would be heartbreaking to see “Eurylochus” show up during “mutiny”.

Poseidon! (Drop 2nd banners)

(Poseidon sings his bit, stepping into a center-god light)

(Drop a “wave” curtain in the section where the fleet is wipes out)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Lights go red)
Tumblr media
(“Wave” rises to show actors lying “dead” and the lights all red)
Tumblr media
(Lighting would change dramatically at “All I’ve gotta do is open this bag”)
It works okay in my head, hopefully you can see the vision.

Whimsy meets stagecraft: These 1915 stage designs by William Penhallow Henderson bring Alice in Wonderland to life in vivid color and imagination. Created for The Players Producing Company of Chicago, they reflect Henderson’s signature touch — a post-impressionist artist known for his paintings, furniture, and visionary American design.
