Malachite's Depths 💧⛓️🔶 Kinda wish we got more insight into what a synchronized fusion of Malachite would have been like. She was instead split between her component's goals and wasn't really her own identity. Lapis bit off more than she could chew and her game of vengeance ended up backfiring. A cautionary tale, indeed. Jasper was lowkey into it all too despite her suffering, freaky little thing. If they hadn't been so spiteful and petty, they really could have just flown back to Homeworld lol.

Intimidating bodyguard vibes.

She glares at anyone and everyone that approaches you but immediately softens up when you look back at her.

Absolutely adores carrying you around, in her arms, on her back or shoulders, she loves it either way.

Definitely makes or finds something that matches her to give to you, will 100% silently melf if you show it off or make it visible.

If you’re a gem, you two will fuse at some point, and with your relationship it’s able to be held for ages (She uses this to show off, just maybe stay away from Lapis while in fusion.)

If you get embarrassed easily, all i have to say is sorry. She will flirt (or try her best, which isn’t amazing), trying to make you flustered.

She is a absolute cuddle bug in private, once you two are in bed she is not letting you get up (If you have to she’ll follow you around like a dog)

Doesn’t mind speaking for you, in fact she enjoys it most of the times (Is unbelievably happy that it’s you asking her to do something)

Is constantly getting you gifts (Please praise her!!)

Post-Corruption Comfort Headcanons

Request: hi i loved your diamond dating hcs! i was wondering if you could write about jaspers s/o helping her feel more comfortable with herself after the affects of her corruption :) maybe reader helps with jaspers recovery from being a bad person with steven?

I know these are kinda vague, but when writing this I have yet to finish SU completely, so they might not be fully accurate.

If you’re a human, she’ll still be a bit rough around the edges. It’ll take a lot more comfort than if you were a gem, her main argument is ‘You’re a human, what would you understand?’

In her lower moments it’s best to let her cool down before trying again, but she’s also trying. Overtime she’ll get better but you’ll need to give her that time.

If you’re a gem, it’s a bit easier to comfort her. As she knows you’re susceptible to corrupting yourself.

Is a bit self conscious of the remaining reminders of her corruption, sometimes she’ll prefer that you don’t say anything about them, other times you’ll need to comfort her about them.

After her… attempts, at fusing, she’s become reasonably fearful of doing it. Mainly due to the corruption still hanging around.

So if you ever want to help her with this fear by fusing, take your time. As any sign of you corrupting or your fusion being unstable will scare her off.
