Minecraft FDNY-Style Firehouse

I spent last night working on a FDNY-style firehouse in Minecraft on my Nintendo Switch OLED. And if it looks familiar, it’s based on Hook & Ladder 8 in NYC (the Ghostbusters station). More to come.

Hi, I just wanted to get opinions from the nintendo switch community

I'm not a gamer but I've always wanted to game. And recently I was thinking about getting the nintendo switch. And I was very interested in the oled, but I then saw the switch 2 was coming out.

I'm completely new to gaming, and the games I want to play are just cozy games or adventure games like stray.

I'd mostly be doing just hand-held (so I thought the switch lite would be best as a beginner) but I do really like the screen on the oled.

Also with the switch 2 I just saw some games wont be backwards compatible

I'm just wondering if it is worth waiting and getting the switch 2

Sorry, I'm completely clueless with all things gaming, just wanted some advice and opinions

Fair warning,I’m gonna need you to explain these really simple to me XD

I got a new switch OLED!! And I transferred my old switcg’s account to it!!! And now I’m playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!! But there is a problem

Though accounts ALSO transfer data,Everything I unlocked in the game isn’t there. I even unlocked Gold Mario but he isn’t there!!

I’m also playing as my mii…and usually their face changes,like making that ^O^ face when happy,but mine isn’t emoting at all!!

Is something wrong? What should I do to fix this?

A neat little detail, whether intentional or not, is how Liko and Roy's names and color schemes reflect the Nintendo Switch.

Liko starts with L, which is also Left. Her outfit and overall color scheme is light blue, which is the color of the left Joy Con in the iconic blue and red Switch (and Switch OLED, my very own up for display).

Roy starts with R, which is also Right. His outfit and overall color scheme is red, which is the color of the right Joy Con in the iconic blue and red Switch.

Since Gen 9 is the current generation, and it is on the Nintendo Switch, especially with its current flagship games Scarlet and Violet, and Horizons is taking place as the flagship Gen 9 anime, Liko and Roy represent the iconic Switch color scheme and their names also parallel Left and Right, as in left and right Joy Cons, and their color schemes are blue and red, respectively, also paralleling the left and right Joy Con colors in the most iconic Switch color scheme.

My Pokémon Switch consoles! I'm not a terribly huge fan of console Pokémon games. But the opportunities came these last few years to buy the more limited ones. They're cool alternatives to the standard Switch systems.

I've been saving up for this bich for months 😭

Now I finally have it! The reason for getting it is because my switch is a version 1, battery life and such is kinda meh. It works, sure, but it's definetly old. I'm not throwing my old one out yet though.

I saved up money by selling adopts, given the current market algorithm being crap it took longer than it would've years ago.

I'm very proud of myself :D

This reminds me of the first time I saved up for something expensive with my own earnings. Since I'm disabled its not something I can do frequently. It costs a lot of time and energy.

The first time I bought something, it was a curved desktop monitor. I still use it! And I'm proud of having it.
