also i saw a lot of people call the necklace silly and .. ai which is crazy 😭 but it’s called a pounamu necklace! it’s native to my country aotearoa (new zealand). it’s craved from greenstone and usually created by māori artists here! we consider them to be taonga (treasure, valued) here, and it brings mana and wairua (spirit)—a lot of it is blessed by māori tribes.

they come in different shapes, each shapes represents different things! here’s a little infographic about it! but mike’s got the toki carving! hope you enjoyed that little fun fact about it!
