Alr I'm hearing a lot of yes's (two) so here's what I have planned so far:
-First fic will introduce the world a bit as well as Heart's whole situation and the such, which conveniently ties into what character he's gonna be meeting
-I'm into a LOT (and I mean a LOT) of fandoms (of course I am, crossover AUs are like the only way I write stories) so I have quite a few ideas on what fandoms I can be crossing-over with. Here are some main fandoms I have ideas for:
•SCP
•Undertale (MAYBE Deltarune)
•Pokémon
•FNaF (namely UCN, my beloved)
•Rain World
•Hollow Knight
•Happy Tree Friends (but like I gotta figure out a… non-brutal way of going about that but I have ideas on how to go about this)
-The multiverse is connected and all kinda knows about each other and can be traversed through a bus from a bus company called Interstellar Transport (totally did not just merge my town's school bus company with a space word), bc ofc gotta have that classic crossover AU vibes
-Heart is childish and so is Mind. They are sheltered and do not understand what people are like cos they don't know that much. You know the lyric "{it's just the game they play here in this labyrinth maze}"? I'm taking that for inspo, p sure I made a post on it a long while back but essentially Heart and Mind are warring bc they're effectively young in a weird trauma kind of way and they fight to process their situation. It's sad but it gets better I promise
-The story will be very feel-good and lighthearted but I DO have one or two fic ideas (only one "or two" bc I don't know which direction to take the second one but it may become dark) that are a bit more morbid, not necessarily grimdark just scary and whatnot
-Despite that I'm likely going to be covering some heavy subjects in a hopeful manner, like in a recovery light where da characters heal so be mindful of that, I'll add warnings when they come
-Heart has wings + high heel-like hooves, as well as acidic violet blood and black eyes. Besides some unusual internal biology and even more unusual psychology he's basically a human
-Mind has a voice modulator, mechanical joints, mechanical hands (ofc?), white eyes and acidic blue blood, a crown that is apart of him that keeps him mentally well, his internal biology is mostly mechanical despite otherwise appearing human and he is an AI by technicality tho it doesn't affect much, and he also has da unusual psychology Heart has
-Soul has a "horn-crown"(?) thing, right eye is black + left eye is white, and is otherwise kinda normal. He's also the tallest of the three. He has vibrant red blood that isn't as acidic but is still acidic and his psychology's def different than a normal human person but he's still the closest to regular guy of the three
-Whole is human, just human. Whenever Soul sleeps, his consciousness is transferred to Whole, whom simply believes that Soul's life is just strange dreams and vice versa. They are, as previously stated, the same entity; two sides of the same coin of consciousness, but they aren't fully aware the other exists
-Soul Two is here btw he's a dimension-hopper and Heart and Mind's "uncle" that Soul desperately wants them to forget about. He is the antithesis of Soul, aka a normal healthy guy who's just vibin
-HMS2 live inside of a tiny world roughly the size of a small town with unique biomes, very liminal-spacey and dreamy but HM feel right at home there. They don't leave this world much but Yk there is da aforementioned bus thingy that they can go on
-Soul is NOT HM's parent/older brother in this, he is their Host; they are his parasites, he is their Host. A "Host" is hard to describe in a way people can understand, but Heart and Mind almost view Soul as a figure of authority, protection, and occasional affection; a force to be listened to, to respect, and even to worship, in a way. Soul views Heart and Mind more as responsibilities rather than genuine family but does love them to an extent, tho he's not very nice to them a lot of the time. Yes that "Host" concept is in every single one of my AUs if you follow my AU content you have definitely heard that concept at least five times by now in every AU I've ever written
Thinking about writing a fic series where Heart goes to other fandoms in the form of one shots all connected through one big multiverse. Will have worldbuilding reminiscent of 2013 Tumblr ask blogs (the kind where like twelve different blorbos lived in one house together). Heart will be as canon accurate as I can but knowing me he will end up being a creechur still and there WILL be headcanons. Heart will be an afraid sheltered little boy whom has only ever existed in Whole's Mindscape and has only interacted with humans via Soul (Whole when he's asleep, Whole is also Soul when Soul's asleep, they are the same entity) and through the internet so he will be timid and awkward when interacting with other characters. Also there will be angst and fluff but it will be primarily cosy
Thoughts anyone. Should I or shouldn't I not

University says it's making changes after bus crash that killed two students
Tumblr media Tumblr media
VICTORIA — A report into a bus crash that killed two University of Victoria students says travel should be restricted to daylight hours on a narrow logging road that it wants improved by the provincial government.
The report makes 43 recommendations in a report released Thursday from an independent expert commissioned by the university after the crash on the evening of Sept. 13, 2019.

Forty-five students and two teaching assistants were headed to the Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre aboard a chartered bus that moved over for an approaching vehicle and rolled down an embankment.
First-year biology students John Geerdes of Iowa City and Emma Machado of Winnipeg, both 18, died, and many others were injured.
Ross Cloutier, author of the report and a risk management expert, said the sciences centre hosted 112 school groups from 2018 to 2019 with about 3,400 participants.
He said only eight groups arrived after dark and the University of Victoria accounted for two of them.
"Given the university's proximity to (the centre) it seems reasonable to expect the university's groups to arrive during daylight hours," he said.
That would require leaving Victoria by noon and adhering to an organized and disciplined travel schedule, said Cloutier, principal of Bhudak Consultants Ltd.
University president Jamie Cassels said the school fully accepts the recommendations and is working to implement them.
"We know this devastating accident has caused immeasurable grief and that the impacts are ongoing for families of the students who died, and for the other students on the bus and their families," he said in a statement.
"To those who have suffered loss and hardship, the university is profoundly sorry."
The university said all surviving students and their parents or guardians were given the opportunity to speak or correspond with Cloutier and that he travelled to Manitoba and Iowa to meet with the families of the students who died.
It said that while university services and supports are currently focused on students it will also determine those that could be provided to their families.
"This will include more regular and timely communication with parents."
The university said in response to the recommendations that it will collect emergency contact information at registration. It said future bus trips to Bamfield will include a hazard assessment and travel will happen during daylight.
Pre-determined itineraries, an additional satellite communications device and first-aid equipment for the group size will also be part of trip planning.
Staff on board will enforce protocols, such as adhering to the itinerary and the wearing of seatbelts, the school said, and it agrees with the review that using a ferry service from Port Alberni to Bamfield may be useful for some trips.
Cloutier also called for the development of more robust crisis response protocols by the university, as well as a separate way to deal with major off-campus incidents.
"Campus security, while being a convenient first point-of-contact, is not the unit that should be handling parent and student inquiries for academic or service questions."
The university said it recognizes its resources are not sufficient to support response to serious incidents.
"To better support our students and staff during such an event we will look to develop external resources that can be quickly scaled to provide a range of potential services and supports."
It also said the condition and suitability of the logging road as an essential corridor between Bamfield and Port Alberni continues to be a concern.
"The university, along with the Huu-ay-aht First Nations, the (centre) and others are advocating to the B.C. government for road improvements. Parents of the students have identified this as an important priority."
Scott Fraser, the minister of Indigenous relations and reconciliation, said options for safety measures are being considered by his ministry, the Ministry of Transportation, the Huu-ay-aht First Nation as well as timber companies that maintain the road where the crash occurred.
"At the premier's request, a working group was formed to do a technical review of Huu-ay-aht First Nation's road upgrade proposal," Fraser said.
"This work takes time and we hope to have more to say in the next few months."
RCMP Staff Sgt. Janelle Shoihet said the Mounties have concluded their investigation and determined there was no criminality or contravention of the Motor Vehicle Act that could have contributed to the incident.
Transport Canada and the BC Coroners Service are still investigating the crash.
The university said the centre is not booking field trips until at least April 2021 due to COVID-19 and buses will not be used for field trips until the recommendations are in place.
