Immortal Techza who decide to pass on and reincarnate so they can meet each other for the first time again and fall in love once more (because Techno, the romantic he is, has a theory that they would find each other on every life that he really wants to test) and they write all their memories and secrets in a bunch of diaries and manuscripts that they hide all over the world so they can find them and have a fun little treasure hunt their next life

They tell no one of the diaries, except their one immortal friend Dream, who is also a romantic so he loves the idea, but immediately sees the flaw that languages can go extinct and paper is very fragile, so he dedicates his next idk how many thousand years to finding the maps and hunting down every single book and carefully archiving all of them and writing academic papers on every artifact and the language so Techno and Phil can actually read their stupid 1000 year old love poems and not just have an untranslatable piece of ripped up paper

Techza where ones a hybrid that doesn't mate for life, and the other who does. Techno or Phil's like one and done and tries to leave, but end up being dragged back cause "whyre you leaving were mate's now :("

I don't know if this makes sense but I love them

This falls perfectly in line with my headcanons tbh.

Phil is an elytrian (or elytrian hybrid). They're super rare and immortal, so it makes sense that they mate for life. Normally they stay together with their mate for eternity, or until one of them gets killed, in which case they're unlikely to take a new mate. Extremely loyal and affectionate - maybe also lowkey possessive as a treat to me who is into that sort of stuff.

Techno is a piglin hybrid. The Nether is a harsh place, and piglins live in huge bastions. They have open relationships and especially during breeding season, it's basically a free for all. Gotta spread that genetic diversity. Children are raised communally. A piglin might have a favorite partner they like more/fuck with more often, but overall they don't really view mates as exclusive or permanent.

The potential for miscommunications and also extremely hot sex is off the charts.

Techno, being from the nether, is built for really warm weather rather than the arctic he keeps choosing to live in. Phil in contrast is built for long flights in high altitude so his body keeps a constant warm temperature. So morning r like this
