About: The artist, who revives the censored female figures in Ottoman paintings from a historical perspective, completes the traces of the past with his paintings. He brings together the memories in lace, whose traces are about to disappear today, with the traditional clothes of Turkish women. He creates a textured surface in his painting by using the laces in his wife Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin's dowry. He brings together the similarities of the lace textures with the decorations, motifs and textures he had previously made on the walls.
