Haarlep laughed softly. Ah, such a humble creature, but that humility came from a place of no worth, he knew. Raphael had told him all about the tadpoled, and in turn, everyone they had interacted with. The cambion so loved the sound of his own voice, after all.

So, now the question was... where was that damn Crown? In the bustle of the destruction, and the death of the Netherbrain, the Crown of Karsus was nowhere in sight. Perhaps this Zevlor character knew, since the hero was nowhere to be found. Perhaps Tav died... What an unfortunate end, if so, though Haarlep would enjoy using their glamour when he could.

"Since you are such a sweet tiefling, I will oblige," Haarlep purred with a little bow of his head, though his fiery eyes never once leaving the Paladin's.

"What will you know of me, Hellrider? I will answer, so long as you answer a question for me in return." No devil did anything without a bargain of course. And he would know where the Crown of Karsus was.

That smile was dangerous, not only in its beauty but in its softness. He felt like a deer watching a cougar clean its claws. Though not wholly, as no deer had ever been so enticed by a cougar. Yet they had such a contrast in appearance, he and this devil, that a quiet part of Zevlor wondered if this would all be some grand joke at his expense. That any moment now, the soft inviting look would twist into sneering mockery. And he couldn't quite settle on whether the idea stung or not.

Haarlep. He had the name, at least, if not any answers to his other questions. That the other knew his name before he'd spoken, however, surprised him. And not even from Zariel's war, but from this battle - or, perhaps both? Zevlor watched Haarlep's gesture, but didn't glance away to the window where the rebuilding city lay beyond.

His shoulders stiffened and his breath snagged silently in his throat, when the other leaned in for a quiet sniff. He didn't need a fiend's false pity, even if Haarlep's estimation struck too close to the truth. "The victory was not mine alone, and there are others far more worthy of a 'bask'. If I can give them the safety and time to celebrate, I am content." It'd surely be too vain to ask for anything more, when he still had to make such amends. "...In the meantime, you've yet to answer me about those details."

What a shame. Haarlep would have enjoyed if their little spa day could turn into an orgy. It was exceptionally hard work to get Alaara in the mood, it seemed. Or at least, when it was more than just oogling her camp buddies.

He'd seen it. Everyone had. Then again, could the incubus blame her? So many of her companions were so delicious to look at, and smelled even better.

Haarlep breathed a sigh. "All work and no play, my dear," he said, his tail swaying beneath the water before he reached for some of the oils. He lathered them into his hands and ran them through his hair. The smell was strong, and familiar to the Devil's Den, along with the boudoir back in the House of Hope.

"You must be pent up after so many years of... " His eyes opened, looking at her. "How many partners have you had? And when was your last? Not counting Gale, of course..."

"And there happens, for mortals, to be a time and place for nudity. For worshipping the naked form. But I don't think any of us here are going to turn this spa day into an orgy."

"As for indulgences, I'll stick to respecting my peers. I care about their comfort in all respects."
