The Legend of Hana Part 44

In Where Nothing Gathers, Organization XIII and the Anti-Girls were discussing what had happened in Hollow Bastion. 

“He acts too rashly,” Anti-Yui said.

“And his movements are inefficient,” Xemnas said. 

“Add that to his cocksure attitude,” Anti-Roxy snickered. 

“And it makes me shudder to hear him called a hero of light. It’ll be at least ten years before that whelp is ready to use a Keyblade,” Xigbar said. 

“What I want to know is who that bitch that was with him,” Anti-Hana said. 

“She’s a Spirit. Couldn’t you tell?” Anti-Yui said. 

“She doesn’t seem like a Spirit.” 

“I agree. She seems too weak to be one,” Anti-Rumi said. 

“Whatever. We push them in the right direction, they’ll run in a straight line for us, whatever direction we put them in. Just like a beam of light,” Xigbar said. 

“And if they don’t, they’re useless to us,” Saïx said. 

“Exactly. Now that we’ve lost ‘him’, we need the boy to do his work for us,” Xaldin said. 

“‘Scuse me! ‘Scuse me! Over here! Who’s ‘him’?” Demyx asked. 

“The card that forms Sora’s pair. Roxas,” Luxord said as he held up a joker card. “Whichever of the pair, the game is ours.” 

“Ohhh, Roxas! He was a good kid. It’s a shame he’s gone.” 

“He is not ‘gone’. Roxas is inside Sora,” Anti-Yui said. 

“What?! He is?!” Demyx felt so happy that he started crying. “I’m so...happy...he’s still alive!”

“Stop acting like you have emotions, idiot,” Anti-Roxy said. 

“Huh? Was it weird?” 

“You couldn’t have sounded more unnatural!” 

“Everyone,” Xemnas said, gaining their attention. “The Key Bearer has started his journey once more and has gained a few allies. You will sow seeds along his path. And he will water them, until they bear fruit.” 

“Seeds? What kind of seeds?” Demyx asked. “Oh, I gotcha! Permission seeds!” 

“There’s just one more thing bothering me,” Saïx said. 

“Speak,” Xemnas said. 

“It’s Axel. How are we gonna take care of him?”

“Forget him. He won’t be coming back here. If he does show his face here again, we will show him the mercy that he deserves.” Everyone was dismissed and headed off to do their own part.

Xigbar headed over to his room where he saw Luna listening to the T.V while Rumi’s red panda, Chia, was snuggled up on her lap. Xigbar smiled softly and walked over to her. 

“Hey, La Lune,” he said as he kissed her cheek. Luna turned her head and looked at Xigbar with her blurry vision. 

“Hi,” she said. 

“How’re you holding up?”

“I’m doing okay. Everyone’s been helping out. Especially, the animals.”

“Yeah, they all care about you. Scarface has been calling you Lady Luna.” 

“‘Lady Luna.’ That’s got a nice ring to it.” Xigbar smiled and kissed her hand. 

“I’m glad you think so,” he said. “We’ll get your vision back. I promise.” 

“Thank you, Xigbar. You’re the best husband anyone could ask for,” Luna replied. Xigbar scooted next to Luna and the two of them cuddled with Chia as they watched the T.V

At Rumi’s mansion in Twilight Town, Axel was looking for a replacement coat for his ripped one. He tossed things around until he found a coat. 

“Aw, it’s just a raincoat,” he said. He heard something coming from one of the closets and a familiar voice. 

“Is someone there?” It was Naminé! He opened the closet and brought Naminé out of the mansion. “Thank you. Now you’ve saved me twice.” 

“How long have you been in there? Don’t you know how to use dark corridors?” Axel asked. Naminé tried to summon one but it didn’t work. 

“I can use it sometimes...” she said. “Besides, I wanna stay in case Roxy comes back.” 

“You still love her?”

“More than anything. And I know that she loves me. She just needs to fight. Fight against the despair that’s controlling her.” 

“You sure you’re not a Spirit?” 

“She told me that the despair took over. And I’m gonna save her. No matter the consequences.” 

“You’ve got guts, kid.” 

“What were you doing here?”

“Me? Oh, I was just hoping to find a change of clothes or something.” 

“Change of clothes?” Axel showed her where the rip was and it was quite big.

“I can’t go through dark corridors like this,” he said.

“I’ll sew it up for you,” Naminé replied as she summoned a sewing kit. “Here sit.” 

She pushed Axel onto a bench and got to work. Axel tried to tell her that he didn’t need her to sew it up but she ignored him. 

“Hey. What are you gonna do now besides save Roxy? They don’t want you anymore right?” Axel asked. 

“Mhm,” Naminé replied and accidentally poked herself with the needle. “Ouch!” 

“And I can’t go back to the Organization either. Well...it’s not like we ever really belonged anywhere or had anyplace to go. We never existed.” 

“But...there is somewhere I want to go. With Roxy. And there’s someone I want to see.” 

“Me too. It’s weird. Nobodies like us don’t have hearts. So where do these feelings come from? These feelings of wanting to see someone?” Naminé finished her work and put her tools away.

“All done,” she said. Axel looked down and saw that the coat was done. 

“Wow. It looks awful,” he said.

Sora and the others had arrived at Beast’s Castle and saw that everything was dark and gloomy. 

“So this is the next world,” Era said.

“I hope we can find some clues here,” Lily said. 

“Sorta gloomy don’t you think?” Goofy asked. The five of them headed in and began searching for clues.
