You know how some people take in media at a young age where the creator’s barely disguised fetish ends up being a formative influence for them?

I basically had the opposite of that experience.

There were about three different webcomics I followed religiously as a teenager whose creators were, like, super into vore, and not only did I not acquire the fetish myself, I straight up did not notice the subtext until decades later, when something would remind me of one of those comics, and recalling what it was like with the benefit of what I know now, I’d be like “hey, wait a minute”.
