Rigby Inn - Herrick/reader; this is the one I've been working on quite a bit lately! your family owns an inn/you work there, where one day Herrick comes in looking for a room, having run away from his family/the clear favoritism they show his brother. Over time you grow closer and he tries to help you with your work, confides in you about his hopes/dreams/worries, and clearly enjoys spending time with you. Part of his worries are about wanting to choose his own destiny and not just do what his family expects of him, and he wants you to be a part of that choice! Really I'm planning for this one to be very sweet lol 🥺😭

Here Comes the Sun - Rapu/reader; this is literally just a Rapu smutfic lmao 😭 without a whole lot of plot, aside from maybe something about you being his handmaiden/priestess, and definitely his favorite mortal 🥺 I've never really been able to get this off the ground for some reason, but I need to give it another look 👀

I Hand You My Mortal Heart, but Will it Be Forever? - Deacon/reader; you grew up in the same village as Deacon, but lost touch (to put it mildly) when he ran away. He's back, several years later, now a newly-turned vampire hiding from vampire hunters in the barn of your farmhouse. you have mixed feelings stemming from feeling betrayed when he disappeared years before, but you still decide to help him, even feeding him when he needs it. Meanwhile a vampire has been picking off the town's residents one by one, and while Deacon is suspected if/when the town finds out he's a vampire, he actually just crash-landed into another vampire's territory by accident. 😬

htmgfad fic (clearly a working title lmao 😭) - Carl/reader; this isn't very well plotted out at this point, but essentially you go to Carl for romantic help/advice, and somewhere along the way you both develop feelings for one another and eventually use appointment time very inappropriately. basically this was going to be my excuse to write multi-chapter smut jkdfhgf 🥴

The Milk Man Cometh (probably also a working title, but it makes me laugh 🥴) - as you can probably guess this is Q/reader lol. It's not super plotted out yet, but the general idea would be that you're an assassin working alongside Q, helping him test out some of his new inventions/weapons on a special mission. And at some point you might get hurt, letting him show off a bit of a softer side when it comes to taking care of you 🥺 ugh I need to plot this one out a little more but I think it has some promise lol 🤔

On the Ashes of this House, Something Burns - Herrick/reader; you end up in possession of an old manor house somewhere in Auckland, where you soon discover the reason the house came so cheaply is that it comes with a friendly ghost named Herrick 👀 maybe there's a little bit of mystery, maybe some intrigue, but eventually you bond with Herrick and try to help him banish the metaphorical ghosts haunting him too. 😭

Blood and Black Lace (also a working title 😩) - Deacon/reader; a Deacon smutfic I've honestly had on the back burner for almost 4 years now, where you're the latest Guest of Honor at the Unholy Masquerade and meet a handsome and mysterious stranger. 👀

Jarred fic (😭) - Jarred/reader; you work at the school and lately, you've noticed that Jarred seems a little distant and distracted. Nobody else seems to notice, but you decide to spend more time with him, and you end up being there for him while he tries to process his feelings around his divorce - and both eventually come to realize the feelings you have for each other 🥺

soft hearts; electric souls - Monty/reader; this is my longer Monty fic, where you're close friends who later become more. Partly a retelling of the story with how your presence could change several things relating to Monty (like him deciding to stay at your place instead of George's when his roof is broken)! I definitely need to plot this out a little more lol 😩

🔚 have you ever completely changed the direction a piece was going?

I'm sure I have. I usually go into writing with an idea of what I want to say/big plot points and then the bits in between kind of just weave everything together. I know that "Perfect Every Time" was supposed to be part of "Worth the Peril," but it got too long and I made it its own part! I also have the memory of a goldfish and will have ideas while I'm not in front of my computer and then forget it and have to come up with something else.

🤔 why do you write fic?

Honestly? I think I was putting off finishing my first play through of bg3. I didn't want my time with the companions to end so I kind of decided not to let it and tried to bring them to life through more storytelling. I also really wanted to write about Astarion being thrown off by a Tav. I've said it before, but the idea for "An Evening to Ourselves" came to me while I was trying to sleep one night and I made myself laugh when thinking about how if Astarion propositioned me, I'd be like "Wait, me? Why?" lol. I was also in a really unmotivated/somewhat depressed state back in the spring (when I started writing this series) and I really needed a way to be creative and have some fun. I regret nothing! I'm having a blast with you guys and am glad you enjoy the dorks I write about!

I do love my dialogue. It comes very easily to me, whereas prose and description can be a little more difficult. I guess my brain is just wired to think of quick snappy dialogue as opposed to waxing poetic about the vampire's beauty. But I make myself laugh a lot with the dumb things I make the characters say, and I know if EYE am laughing, that you guys probably will too :)
